• HOLINESS IS A DAILY PRACTICE, NOT A ONE-TIME EXPERIENCE

Many believers today treat holiness as a moment rather than a lifestyle. They remember a powerful encounter—salvation, a revival service, or a deep prayer moment—and assume that experience alone sustains their spiritual purity.

But Scripture teaches something deeper: holiness is not an event; it is a continuous walk with God.

Holiness is not what you did yesterday—it is how you live today.

    1 Peter 1:15-16 (KJV)
    “But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation;
Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.”

This command is not seasonal. It is daily.

    1. Holiness Begins with an Encounter but Continues with Discipline.

Salvation is the starting point, not the destination.

    2 Corinthians 5:17 (KJV)
“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.”

Yes, you become new—but remaining pure requires intentional living.

    Many people:

Had a genuine encounter with God

    Felt conviction and transformation

But failed to maintain spiritual discipline

    Holiness must be sustained.

    1 Corinthians 9:27 (KJV)
“But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection…”

Paul understood that even after encounters, the flesh must be managed daily.

    2. Holiness Requires Daily Denying to Self.

Holiness is costly—it demands daily surrender.

    Luke 9:23 (KJV)
“If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.”

    Notice the word: daily

    Not occasionally. Not when convenient.

    Every day you must:

    Deny sinful desires

    Resist temptation

    Choose righteousness over comfort

Holiness is a series of daily decisions, not a one-time declaration.

    3. Holiness Is Maintained Through Consistent Fellowship with God
You cannot live holy without staying connected to God.

    John 15:4 (KJV)
“Abide in me, and I in you…”

    To “abide” means:

    Stay connected

    Remain rooted

    Continue in relationship

Holiness flows from intimacy with God.

    Daily practices that sustain holiness:

    Prayer

    Study of the Word

    Worship

    Obedience

    Psalm 119:11 (KJV)
“Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.”

    4. Holiness Is Evident in Daily Conduct

Holiness is not just spiritual—it is practical.

    Colossians 3:5-8 (KJV)
“Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth… anger, wrath, malice…”

    Holiness affects:

    Your speech

    Your thoughts

    Your relationships

    Your private life

It is not about appearance; it is about transformation.

    James 1:22 (KJV)
“But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only…”

    5. Holiness Requires Vigilance Against Sin

Sin does not disappear—it must be resisted daily.

    Genesis 4:7 (KJV)
“Sin lieth at the door. And unto thee shall be his desire, and thou shalt rule over him.”

    Holiness demands alertness.

    1 Peter 5:8 (KJV)
    “Be sober, be vigilant…”

You cannot relax spiritually and expect to remain holy.

    6. The Danger of Treating Holiness as a One-Time Experience
When holiness is reduced to a past event:

    People become spiritually careless

    Sin becomes tolerated

    Conviction becomes weak

    Hebrews 12:14 (KJV)
“Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord.”

The word “follow” implies pursuit—continuous effort.

    Holiness must be chased daily.

    7. The Role of the Holy Spirit in Daily Holiness

You cannot live holy by human effort alone.

    Galatians 5:16 (KJV)
“Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.”

    The Holy Spirit:

    Convicts

    Guides

    Strengthens

    Empowers

Holiness is sustained by yielding daily to Him.

    Illustration
A person who bathes once cannot remain clean forever. Cleanliness requires daily washing.

    In the same way:

    One prayer cannot sustain holiness

    One encounter cannot maintain purity

    Holiness must be refreshed daily.

Practical Steps to Live Daily Holiness
Start each day with God (Prayer & Word)

    Guard your heart and mind

    Avoid environments that promote sin

    Practice obedience immediately

    Repent quickly when you fall

    Stay accountable with godly people

    Conclusion
Holiness is not a spiritual badge you received once—it is a lifestyle you must live every day.

    God is not looking for:

    Occasional righteousness

    Temporary purity

He is looking for consistent holiness.

    Romans 12:1 (KJV)
“Present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God…”

A living sacrifice is one that remains on the altar daily.

    Altar Call
If you have treated holiness as a past experience rather than a present lifestyle, today is the day to realign.

    Pray:

“Lord, help me not just to experience holiness, but to live it daily. Strengthen me to deny myself, walk in Your Spirit, and remain pure before You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”

  • The Lust Child”

In Scripture, lust is not limited to sexual desire alone. Lust represents any uncontrolled craving of the flesh—power, money, pride, pleasure, fame, or sinful appetite.

When lust is allowed to grow unchecked, it conceives, and what it gives birth to is what the Bible reveals as sin. That product—the result of sustained lust—is what we call “The Lust Child.”

The Lust Child is not born overnight. It is formed gradually in the heart, fed by compromise, and raised by disobedience.

    James 1:14–15 (KJV)
“But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed.
Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.”

    1. LUST ALWAYS SEEKS CONCEPTION
    James 1:15a – “When lust hath conceived…”

Lust is not passive; it is reproductive.
What you entertain repeatedly will eventually produce fruit.

    Lust begins in thought

    It grows through agreement

    It matures through action

    Matthew 5:28

“Whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.”

The heart is the womb where lust conceives.
If the heart is not guarded, lust will always give birth.

    Proverbs 4:23

“Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.”

    2. THE LUST CHILD IS ALWAYS SIN
    James 1:15b – “…it bringeth forth sin”

What lust produces will never glorify God.
The Lust Child may look attractive at birth, but its nature is destructive.

    Romans 6:12
“Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof.”

Sin is not sudden rebellion; it is the offspring of tolerated lust.

    Examples of Lust Children:

    Pride → Rebellion

    Greed → Corruption

    Pleasure → Addiction

    Power → Oppression

    3. THE LUST CHILD GROWS IF NOT KILLED EARLY

    Galatians 6:7–8
“Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.”

What you don’t confront early will control you later.
    Lust ignored becomes habit.
    Habit unchallenged becomes bondage.

    Romans 8:13
“For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.”

The Lust Child must be terminated spiritually before it matures.

    4. THE FINAL DESTINY OF THE LUST CHILD

James 1:15c – “…sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.”

Death here is not only physical:

    Death of conscience

    Death of spiritual sensitivity

    Death of destiny

    Death of intimacy with God

    Proverbs 14:12
“There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.”

The Lust Child always promises pleasure but delivers destruction.

    5. DELIVERANCE FROM THE LUST CHILD

    Galatians 5:16
“Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.”

Victory is not by suppression but by substitution:

    Replace flesh with Spirit

    Replace desire with discipline

    Replace compromise with obedience

    Colossians 3:5
“Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth…”

You don’t manage lust—you crucify it.

    CONCLUSION

The Lust Child is dangerous because it is familiar, tolerated, and often hidden.

But God’s grace is greater than any lust, and the blood of Jesus cleanses completely.

    1 John 1:7
“The blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.”

Today, refuse to nurse what God commands you to kill.

    CLOSING PRAYER
“Father, by Your Spirit, expose and destroy every lust seeking to reproduce in my life. I receive grace to walk in holiness and obedience, in Jesus’ name. Amen.”

  • What God Needs From You!

Many people ask, “What does God really want from me?” Is it money? Is it church attendance? Is it long prayers or religious rituals? The truth is, God does not need material things—He needs your heart, your obedience, your love, and your surrender.

“He has shown you, O man, what is good; and what does the LORD require of you but to do justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God?” — Micah 6:8 (NKJV)

God is the Owner of heaven and earth (Psalm 24:1), yet He still desires something from you: a genuine relationship and a life that reflects His will.

    1. GOD NEEDS YOUR HEART

“My son, give me your heart, and let your eyes observe my ways.” — Proverbs 23:26

God is not interested in performance without devotion.

He does not want your Sunday face and weekday sins. He wants your heart completely.

A heart that loves Him (Deuteronomy 6:5)

A heart that trusts Him (Proverbs 3:5)

A heart that is loyal to Him (2 Chronicles 16:9)

God does not want part of you — He wants ALL of you.

    2. GOD NEEDS YOUR OBEDIENCE

“To obey is better than sacrifice…” — 1 Samuel 15:22

Many people try to please God with activities while ignoring His instructions. Obedience means:

    Forgiving when it is painful

Letting go when He says “leave it”

    Moving when He says “go”

    Waiting when He says “stay”

    Jesus said:
“If you love Me, keep My commandments.” — John 14:15

True love for God is proven by obedience to God.

    3. GOD NEEDS YOUR FAITH

“But without faith it is impossible to please Him…” — Hebrews 11:6

Faith is God’s currency. When you believe Him, you honor Him. When you doubt Him, you dishonor Him.

God needs you to trust Him when:

    You don’t understand the process

    You can’t see the outcome

    The doors look closed

    The delay is long

Your faith speaks louder than your words.

    4. GOD NEEDS YOUR HOLINESS

“Be holy, for I am holy.” — 1 Peter 1:16

Holiness is not perfection; it is separation from sin and dedication to God. God needs:

    Clean hands

    A pure heart

    A life that avoids compromise

You cannot walk with God and walk in sin at the same time.

Darkness and light do not mix (2 Corinthians 6:14).

    5. GOD NEEDS YOUR LOVE FOR OTHERS

“Love your neighbor as yourself.” — Mark 12:31

You cannot claim to love God and hate people.

    Love is forgiving

    Love is patient

Love is not jealous or proud (1 Corinthians 13)

God needs you to become His love in action.

When you bless others, forgive others, and serve others, you reveal God to the world.

    6. GOD NEEDS YOUR AVAILABILITY

“Here am I. Send me!” — Isaiah 6:8

God does not call the qualified; He qualifies the called. He is not looking for ability, He is looking for availability.

    Can He send you?

    Can He use you?

    Can He trust you?

The willing vessel attracts divine assignment.

    7. GOD NEEDS YOUR PRAISE AND WORSHIP

“Let everything that has breath praise the LORD.” — Psalm 150:6

Praise is not for God’s ego; it is for your spiritual alignment. Praise:

    Invites His presence (Psalm 22:3)

    Breaks chains (Acts 16:25–26)

    Silences the enemy (Psalm 8:2)

God needs your sincere worship, not entertainment worship.

    CONCLUSION
What God needs from you is not religion, but relationship.

    He needs:
    Your heart
    Your obedience
    Your faith
    Your holiness
    Your love
    Your availability
    Your worship

When you give God these things, He gives you:

    Direction

    Peace

    Power

    Purpose

    Eternal life

You don’t give God because He is lacking. You give to Him because you are grateful.

“Delight yourself also in the Lord, and He shall give you the desires of your heart.” — Psalm 37:4

  • Half Obedience

    1 Samuel 15:22–23

“And Samuel said, Hath the Lord as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the Lord? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams. For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry...”

Obedience is one of the greatest virtues in the life of every believer. It is the key that unlocks divine favor, blessings, and fellowship with God. However, many Christians today are guilty of half obedience—they obey God partially, selectively, or conveniently. Yet, in God’s eyes, half obedience is total disobedience.

    1. WHAT IS HALF OBEDIENCE?

    - Half obedience means doing part of what God commands but leaving out the rest. It is obeying God where it is comfortable, but compromising where it is costly.

    - Saul was commanded to utterly destroy the Amalekites (1 Samuel 15:3), but he spared King Agag and the best of the sheep and oxen. He obeyed partly — and lost his throne.

    - Half obedience often disguises itself as good intention, but it is rebellion wrapped in religion.

    2. WHY GOD REJECTS HALF OBEDIENCE

    - It questions His authority: When you obey partially, you tell God He is not fully wise.

    - It opens the door for pride: Saul claimed he had obeyed God (1 Samuel 15:13), yet he had twisted God’s word to suit himself.

    - It hinders divine blessings: God cannot trust a man who chooses what part of His command to follow.

James 2:10 – “For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.”

    3. EXAMPLES OF HALF OBEDIENCE IN THE BIBLE

    - Lot’s wife (Genesis 19:17,26): She left Sodom but looked back — a partial obedience that cost her life.

    - Ananias and Sapphira (Acts 5:1–10): They gave part of what they promised, pretending it was all — God judged them immediately.

    - Moses (Numbers 20:7–12): He struck the rock instead of speaking to it — one act of disobedience barred him from entering Canaan.

    4. THE DANGER OF HALF OBEDIENCE

    - It leads to rejection by God (1 Samuel 15:26).

    - It destroys destinies that started well.

    - It deceives you into thinking you are still right with God when you are not.

    - It gives room for the devil to accuse and deceive.

Luke 6:46 – “And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?”

    5. TRUE OBEDIENCE IS COMPLETE OBEDIENCE

    - True obedience is immediate, total, and joyful submission to God’s Word — no excuses, no delay, no compromise.

    - Abraham obeyed completely when God asked him to sacrifice Isaac (Genesis 22:1–18).

    - Noah obeyed every detail of God’s instruction concerning the ark (Genesis 6:22).

    - Jesus Christ obeyed even unto death (Philippians 2:8).

These examples show that complete obedience is the pathway to divine promotion.

    6. AREAS WHERE BELIEVERS STRUGGLE WITH HALF OBEDIENCE

    - Forgiveness (Matthew 6:14–15)

    - Tithing and giving (Malachi 3:10)

    - Evangelism (Matthew 28:19–20)

    - Purity and holiness (1 Peter 1:15–16)

    - Submission to authority (Hebrews 13:17)

We must examine our hearts: Do we obey only when it suits us, or do we obey even when it costs us everything?

    7. HOW TO WALK IN COMPLETE OBEDIENCE

    - Know God’s Word – You can’t obey what you don’t know (Joshua 1:8).

    - Trust God’s wisdom – Obedience flows from faith in His plan.

    - Submit your will – Say like Jesus, “Not my will, but Yours be done” (Luke 22:42).

    - Be filled with the Holy Spirit – He gives grace to obey fully (Ezekiel 36:27).

Fear God more than man – Choose God’s approval over human praise.

    * Half obedience may seem small in the eyes of men, but it is rebellion before God. Every time we obey partially, we limit God’s move in our lives. The throne that Saul lost because of half obedience was given to David — a man after God’s own heart who obeyed completely.

Beloved, God is calling us today to a higher level of obedience — not halfway, not occasionally, but completely and consistently.

    PRAY THIS PRAYER

    * Lord, forgive me for every area of partial obedience in my life.

    * Lord, give me a heart that delights in full obedience.

    * Deliver me from self-will and pride that resist Your instruction.

    * Holy Spirit, empower me to obey instantly and completely.

    * Let my obedience bring glory to Your name and blessings to my destiny.

Half Obedience 1 Samuel 15:22–23 “And Samuel said, Hath the Lord as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the Lord? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams. For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry...” Obedience is one of the greatest virtues in the life of every believer. 2. WHY GOD REJECTS HALF OBEDIENCE - It questions His authority: When you obey partially, you tell God He is not fully wise. - It opens the door for pride: Saul claimed he had obeyed God (1 Samuel 15:13), yet he had twisted God’s word to suit himself. - It hinders divine blessings: God cannot trust a man who chooses what part of His command to follow. James 2:10 – “For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.” 3. EXAMPLES OF HALF OBEDIENCE IN THE BIBLE - Lot’s wife (Genesis 19:17,26): She left Sodom but looked back — a partial obedience that cost her life. - Ananias and Sapphira (Acts 5:1–10): They gave part of what they promised, pretending it was all — God judged them immediately. - Moses (Numbers 20:7–12): He struck the rock instead of speaking to it — one act of disobedience barred him from entering Canaan. 4. THE DANGER OF HALF OBEDIENCE - It leads to rejection by God (1 Samuel 15:26). - It destroys destinies that started well. - It deceives you into thinking you are still right with God when you are not. - It gives room for the devil to accuse and deceive. Luke 6:46 – “And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?” 5. TRUE OBEDIENCE IS COMPLETE OBEDIENCE - True obedience is immediate, total, and joyful submission to God’s Word — no excuses, no delay, no compromise. 6. • YOUR 24 HOURS

Psalm 90:12 – “So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.”

Every human being, whether rich or poor, young or old, is given the same amount of time each day — 24 hours.

Time is one of the greatest gifts God has given to mankind, yet it is one of the most wasted and mismanaged. Unlike money, you cannot save or borrow time; once it is gone, it is gone forever.

Your 24 hours represent your life in portions. How you use each day determines how you live, grow, and fulfill destiny.

-> UNDERSTANDING THE VALUE OF TIME

Ephesians 5:15–16 – “See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil.”

Every second counts before God. Each hour you spend reflects what you truly value. Some waste their time in idleness, gossip, and vain pursuits, while others invest their time in prayer, study, work, and service to God.

God expects His children to redeem time — that is, to use it purposefully and productively for His glory.

-> YOUR TIME IS YOUR LIFE

James 4:14 – “For what is your life? It is even a vapour that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.”

Your 24 hours is a reflection of your life. What you do daily becomes who you are. If you spend your hours wisely, your destiny will flourish; if you waste them, your life will decay.

Time is not just a clock ticking — it is life leaving. Every tick of the clock takes you closer to eternity.

-> HOW JESUS USED HIS 24 HOURS

Mark 1:35 – “And in the morning, rising up a great while before day, He went out, and departed into a solitary place, and there prayed.”

Jesus was never idle. He prayed early, preached daily, healed the sick, and taught the Word. His life was full of purpose.
If the Son of God valued His 24 hours, how much more should we?

Every believer must ask: “How do I spend my day?” Do you start your day with God? Do you end it with reflection and thanksgiving?

-> THE DANGER OF WASTING TIME

Proverbs 6:9–11 – “How long wilt thou sleep, O sluggard? when wilt thou arise out of thy sleep? … So shall thy poverty come as one that travelleth, and thy want as an armed man.”

Wasted time leads to wasted opportunities. Many destinies have been destroyed not by demons, but by distractions.

When you fail to plan your day, the devil will help you waste it. Remember, idle time is the devil’s workshop.

-> MAKING YOUR 24 HOURS COUNT

Colossians 3:23 – “And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men.”

Start your day with God. Commit your time to Him through prayer and the Word.
Plan your activities. Don’t live each day randomly — write down your goals.
Avoid time wasters. Stay away from unnecessary social media, idle talk, and laziness.
Serve others. Use part of your time to help, encourage, or bless someone.
End your day in reflection. Thank God and evaluate how you used your hours.

-> YOUR 24 HOURS WILL TESTIFY

Ecclesiastes 12:14 – “For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.”

One day, you will give an account of how you spent your days on earth. Your 24 hours will either testify for you or against you.

Use your time for kingdom purpose — to pray, evangelize, study, work diligently, and fulfill destiny.

Your 24 hours is a divine trust from God. Don’t waste it on things that don’t matter. Every day is a new opportunity to grow in grace, touch lives, and prepare for eternity.

Remember, how you spend your hours today will determine what your life becomes tomorrow.

    PRAY THIS PRAYER

-> Lord, teach me to number my days wisely. (Psalm 90:12)

-> Father, deliver me from time-wasting habits.

-> Holy Spirit, help me to redeem my 24 hours for divine purpose.

-> Every power assigned to waste my time, be destroyed in Jesus’ name.

-> Lord, help me to make every hour count for Your glory.
