📘 Daily Devotion — July 6 | Acts 7:51 (NKJV) 💯 A Heart That Listens Stephen boldly confronted the religious leaders about their continual resistance to God's work. Though they were familiar with Scripture and religious practices, their hearts remained hardened against the truth God was revealing through Jesus Christ. This verse reminds us that spiritual knowledge alone is not enough. God desires hearts that are humble, teachable, and responsive to His leading. It is possible to hear God's truth and still resist His work through pride, stubbornness, or unbelief. The Holy Spirit continually works in the lives of believers, convicting, guiding, and transforming them. When we resist His leading, we hinder the growth He desires to produce within us. God calls us to remain sensitive to His voice and willing to obey whatever He reveals through His Word and Spirit. Reflection Questions 1. Are there areas where I am resisting God's leading 2. Do I have a teachable and humble spirit 3. How can I become more responsive to the Holy Spirit Prayer Lord God, soften my heart and help me respond quickly to Your voice.
