• URGENT PRAYER REQUEST
Gunmen stormed an ECWA church in Kwara State, Nigeria, and abducted worshippers right in the middle of a Sunday service. Some victims have escaped, but five believers are still missing.

This is not the first time churches in Kwara State have been targeted. Our brothers and sisters in Nigeria need our prayers NOW.

Dear Lordsbook family, please stand in the gap:
. For the safe return of the five still in captivity
. For comfort and strength for their families and congregation
. For God's protection over every church and believer in Nigeria
. For justice and lasting peace across the nation

"Call upon Me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you shall glorify Me." — Psalm 50:15

The Church is under attack, but our God is mighty to save!

  • While the world remains largely silent, a spiritual storm is raging across Nigeria. In what many are now calling a 'genocide wearing the mask of chaos,' the Nigerian Church is standing firm against a relentless wave of violence. Recent reports from 2025 reveal a staggering reality: an average of 32 Christians are martyred every single day.

Since 2015, the destruction has been systematic and chilling. Islamist extremists have incinerated over 18,000 churches and wiped out 2,200 Christian schools. Yet, the fire of faith has not been extinguished. In the very places where walls were leveled and 'where blood was spilled,' believers continue to gather. They are not retreating; they are worshipping in the ruins.

This is not a story of victimhood, but of 'the power of a faith that cannot be extinguished by terror.' As one observer noted, these believers are 'declaring that Jesus is worth everything,' even as they face the threat of death for the 'crime of calling Jesus their Lord.' Nigeria now accounts for roughly 80% of all Christians killed for their faith worldwide. The global Church is being called to 'shake awake' and recognize that 'if one part of the body suffers, we all suffer.' In the darkest corners of the North and the Middle Belt, the light of Christ is shining through the courage of those who refuse to abandon their hope. It is time to stand with them, speak their names, and 'pray without ceasing.'

  • GLORIOUS SUNDAY SERMON OF
    7TH DECEMBER 2025

    LESSON: Romans 8:35-39

    TOPIC:
    HOPE THAT OUTLIVES THE NIGHT!

    TEXT:
.......Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning. Psalm 30:5b (NKJV).

    INTRODUCTION:
Nigeria feels like a land walking through a valley with bruised feet. Villages emptied. Christians hunted. Families sitting beside shallow graves. And yet, in the middle of this choking darkness, Scripture whispers a stubborn truth: “Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning.” It almost feels unfair to say…
Yet, it has remained true across generations.
Be abundantly blessed by the word in Jesus name!

    EXPOSITION:
[1] THE NIGHT IS REAL, BUT IT IS NOT SOVEREIGN.
Sometimes believers feel guilty for admitting pain, but Jesus Himself said, “In this world you will have tribulation” John 16:33. The night is not imaginary. It bleeds. It disrupts. It shakes faith. But it is not sovereign. Darkness does not own the clock. God does. Lamentations 3:22–23 reminds us that His mercies “are new every morning.” Morning is not controlled by terrorists, wicked rulers, or persecutors. Morning is a divine appointment.

[2] GOD STORES TEARS, BUT HE NEVER WASTES THEM.
David said, “You put my tears into Your bottle” Psalm 56:8. That means God is not indifferent to the agony of Christians in Nigeria. Every widow’s cry. Every displaced family. Every prayer whispered in fear. Pain is never wasted in His hands. Romans 8:28 is not a cliché… “All things work together for good.” It may not look like it now, but God is molding a testimony that will outlive the night.

[3] MORNING COMES QUIETLY, BUT IT COMES SURELY
Sometimes we expect morning to arrive with fireworks. But God often works like the dawn… slow, steady, impossible to stop. Psalm 46:5 says, “God will help her, and that right early.” Even when the night feels endless, heaven is already shifting things. Deliverance starts long before we see the sun. Nigeria will not remain in this valley. The Church has survived worse through history and always emerged stronger.

    CONCLUSION:
The night we see now is not the prophecy of our end. God’s promise stands taller than our fears. Morning may look delayed, but it cannot be denied. So, in the midst of persecution, hold fast to God's promise—your night of tears is temporary; dawn brings unshakeable, unquenchable, victorious! joy!

    SHORT PRAYER:
Lord, strengthen every persecuted believer in Nigeria. Let Your justice roll like waters. Surround Your people with protection, restore what has been stolen, and let the morning of peace rise over our land. Amen.

    HAPPY VICTORIOUS SUNDAY
    HAVE A TRIUMPHANT WEEK.

THIS WEEK, YOU ARE A SUPER WINNER!
    SHALOM.

    JESUS LOVES YOU; AND,
    HE TRULY CARES FOR YOU.

JOY IN THE MORNING OR NOT!
    JESUS IS COMING BACK AGAIN!!
REPENT AND BE READY FOR HIM!!!

  • WATCH & PRAY: A WORLD TILTING TOWARD CRISIS — NIGERIA & BEYOND

Beloved, when headlines warn of persecution rising and nations rattling swords, God’s people must not sleep.
Events in Nigeria — violent attacks on believers, global attention rising, and world leaders speaking publicly about “Christian slaughter” — remind us: the great test for God’s people approaches quickly.

This world is not calming down — it is accelerating toward the final conflict.

“For nation shall rise against nation… and ye shall be hated of all nations for My name’s sake.”
    — Matthew 24:7,9

Many are shocked to see Christians hunted and killed.
But prophecy told us persecution would return with fury.

This is not simply politics — it is spiritual war breaking into the open.

And soon, the crisis will circle the globe.

SATAN IS STIRRING NATIONS — A FINAL WAR AGAINST THE SAINTS

The enemy hates all who choose Christ.
Yet Scripture is clear: he is especially enraged with a particular group in the last days.

“And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed,
which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.”
    — Revelation 12:17

The final conflict is not about geography.
It is about loyalty — worship — obedience — truth — and the law of God.

When the world unites under false religion and state power, those who honor God alone will be marked as enemies.

This is bigger than Africa… bigger than America… this is global prophecy unfolding.

THE WHOLE WORLD IS MOVING TOWARD A TEST OF WORSHIP

Soon, laws will be passed “for the common good.”
The majority will bow to pressure — and a minority will stand with Christ — even unto death.

    Ellen White wrote:

“The Sabbath will be the great test of loyalty; for it is the point of truth especially controverted.”
    — GC 605.2

    And again:

“Only those who have fortified the mind with the truths of the Bible will stand through the last great conflict.”
    — GC 593.2

Many today are shocked that Christians are dying in villages far away.
Soon, the same spirit will rise everywhere.

We do not fear — we prepare.
We do not hate — we love boldly.
We do not retreat — we stand.

    OUR CALL RIGHT NOW

    Pray for persecuted believers
    Study the Word deeply
    Share the Three Angels’ Messages
    Stand separate from worldly politics
    Prepare spiritually — not militarily
    Love even our enemies
Hold fast to Christ and His law

The remnant will not survive by strength — but by faithfulness and obedience.

“Here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.”
    — Revelation 14:12

    Christ is preparing a people.
Not by force… not by alliance with earthly power…
But by truth, meekness, endurance, and the Spirit of Christ.

    HOPE FOR THE FAITHFUL

    Persecution will rise.
But God’s sealed people will stand.

    Jesus Himself promised:

“Be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.”
    — Revelation 2:10

He will not leave His remnant.
The same God who shut lions’ mouths will walk with His Sabbath-keeping faithful through the fire.

    Watchmen, rise.

    Do not fear.
    Do not compromise.
Stand in the light of God’s commandments and Christ’s righteousness.

    Jesus is coming soon.
Get ready. Stay ready. Help others prepare.

“Even so, come, Lord Jesus.” — Revelation 22:20

FOOTNOTE — WHO IS THE REMNANT?

The Bible defines God’s final remnant as those who:

Keep all Ten Commandments, including the Sabbath of the Lord (Exodus 20:8–11)
Have the testimony of Jesus — the Spirit of Prophecy (Revelation 12:17; 19:10)
Hold the faith of Jesus (Revelation 14:12)
Preach the Three Angels’ Messages to the world (Revelation 14:6–12)

Not every Christian today sees the Sabbath light yet — but God is calling His sheep in all denominations, and soon all will hear and choose.

The faithful end-time church is not defined by denomination name alone…
but by obedience, truth, and the character of Christ.

“The church will appear as about to fall, but it does not fall.”
    — Ellen White, 2SM 380

    Stay faithful.
The seal of God rests upon commandment-keepers.
The Spirit of Jesus rests upon the humble.

Only those clothed in Christ’s righteousness and sealed in His Sabbath truth will stand in the time of trouble.

  • A Call to the Body of Christ

Northern Nigeria has become a graveyard for Christians. Boko Haram, ISWAP, and other jihadi forces spill the blood of believers daily — burning churches, butchering families, enslaving women and children.

This is not “clashes,” it is not “banditry” — it is a war against the Kingdom of Christ.

The silence of the world is deafening. The silence of the Church is dangerous.

Brethren, the time has come to rise in prayer and prophetic warfare.
Lift up Nigeria in your churches, in your homes, on your platforms. Declare that the gates of hell shall not prevail against the Church of Jesus Christ!

    To every Christian worldwide:

    Pray without ceasing for Nigeria.

    Speak boldly about this persecution.

Stand with your brothers and sisters who are paying the ultimate price for the faith.

The blood of martyrs waters the seed of the Church. Let their sacrifice not be in vain.
