Faith That Changes the World: Unashamed of the Gospel!
Scripture: Romans 1:8–17 (KJV)

Key Verse:"For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth..." — Romans 1:16 (KJV)

Thought Of The Day...
Paul begins his letter to the believers in Rome by expressing gratitude for their faith, which had become known throughout the world. Even though he had never visited them, he longed to encourage them, strengthen them, and be strengthened by their faith. This reminds us that genuine faith is meant to be shared and should inspire others to trust God more deeply.
Paul also understood that he had a divine obligation to preach the Gospel to everyone—regardless of nationality, education, wealth, or social status. The Gospel is not reserved for a select few; it is God's saving message for all who believe.
Then comes one of the greatest declarations in all of Scripture: "For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ." Paul had endured persecution, imprisonment, rejection, and suffering, yet he never backed down from proclaiming Jesus Christ. He knew that the Gospel carries God's power to transform lives, break chains, forgive sins, restore families, and bring eternal salvation.
Today, believers face a culture that often pressures Christians to remain silent about their faith. Yet God's Word reminds us that we have nothing to be ashamed of. The Gospel still changes hearts, heals broken lives, restores hope, and points people to Jesus Christ. The same power that saved Paul is still available today.
Romans 1:17 declares that "the just shall live by faith." Our walk with Christ begins by faith, continues by faith, and is sustained by faith. We are called to trust God even when we cannot see the outcome, believing that He is always working for His glory and our good.

• Am I boldly living and sharing my faith in Christ?
• Does my life reflect the transforming power of the Gospel?
• Where is God calling me to trust Him by faith today?

Prayer...
Heavenly Father, thank You for the life-changing power of the Gospel. Forgive me for the times I have remained silent out of fear or shame. Fill me with boldness through Your Holy Spirit to live for Christ and share the Good News with others. Help me to walk by faith, trusting You in every circumstance. Let my life be a testimony of Your saving grace and transforming power. In Jesus' mighty name, Amen.

Declaration...
Today I declare that I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I will stand boldly for His truth, walk by faith, and proclaim His goodness wherever He leads me. The power of God is at work in my life, and through Christ I am more than a conqueror. My faith will shine brightly, bringing glory to God and hope to those around me. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Before sin, Adam and Eve were "naked and unashamed." After sin, their immediate reaction was fear of exposure. They didn't run to God; they ran to bushes. They didn't ask for help; they made coverings. We are still doing this. We may not wear actual leaves, but we stitch together elaborate psychological defenses to ensure that no one—not our spouse, not our friends, and certainly not God—sees our vulnerability. We hide because we believe a lie: If they really saw me, they wouldn't love me.

BE BOLD IN YOUR FAITH!

In a world that tells you to stay quiet about Jesus... be the one who stands up and says, "I will follow Christ!"

My son isn't just celebrating a graduation today... he's declaring who he follows.

It takes courage to stand for Jesus when everyone else is following the crowd. But remember... the opinions of people will fade, while the truth of God lasts forever.

Be bold.
Be fearless.
Be unashamed.
Follow Jesus Christ.
