• POWERFUL SUNDAY SERVICE – BAPTISM OF THE HOLY SPIRIT LIKE THE DAY OF PENTECOST!

What an extraordinary and life-changing Sunday service we experienced in the presence of God!

The Holy Spirit moved powerfully among us just as on the Day of Pentecost. From the beginning of worship until the closing prayer, the atmosphere was filled with the presence, power, and glory of God. Hearts were touched, lives were transformed, and many people encountered the Lord in a fresh and mighty way.

One of the most remarkable testimonies was a precious sister who received the Baptism of the Holy Spirit during worship. As the congregation lifted up the name of Jesus, the Holy Spirit descended with power, filling her life and bringing great joy and spiritual renewal. Hallelujah!

Throughout the service, we witnessed God’s mighty hand at work and heard several encouraging testimonies of what the Lord had done in people’s lives. We give all glory and honor to our Lord Jesus Christ for His faithfulness and mercy.

I am also deeply thankful to God for my wife, who is a tremendous blessing to me, our family, and our ministry. She faithfully serves alongside me, helping lead the ministry of the Holy Spirit here in Pakistan. Together we are committed to sharing the Gospel, winning souls for Christ, discipling believers, and seeing lives transformed by the power of God.

Please continue to pray for our ministry as we labor for the Kingdom of God and seek to bring many more souls to the Lord Jesus Christ.

“But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me…” — Acts 1:8

All glory belongs to Jesus Christ!

  • The Upper Room Miracle | Acts 2:1–2

120 disciples of our Lord Jesus Christ gathered together in unity on the Day of Pentecost. Then suddenly, heaven moved with power!
“And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.
And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind…”
    — Acts 2:1–2 (KJV)
The Holy Spirit filled the upper room, and the Church was born.
May the same fire, unity, and power of God fill our hearts today.

  • The same fire that fell in the upper room still falls today.
God is still filling hearts, breaking chains, healing wounds, and awakening souls through the power of His Spirit.

When Heaven moves, lives are never the same.
Lord, let Your fire fall on us again.

  • This video provides a breakdown and commentary on Peter's sermon in Acts chapter 2, verses 14-36, which he delivers on the Day of Pentecost.

    https://youtu.be/mMdsSwbotxM

Key points covered in the video:

Peter's Defense: Peter stands up to address the crowd who are mocking the apostles, accusing them of being drunk. He refutes this claim, stating that it is only nine in the morning.

Fulfillment of Prophecy: He then explains that the miraculous event they are witnessing—the disciples speaking in other languages—is the fulfillment of a prophecy from the Old Testament, specifically from the prophet Joel. This is the outpouring of the Holy Spirit promised by God.

The Identity of Jesus: Peter's main argument is to prove that Jesus of Nazareth is the promised Messiah. He does this by appealing to prophecies from the Psalms, particularly from David.

Evidence for Jesus as the Messiah: Peter argues that David, being a king, could not have been speaking about himself when he wrote about a descendant who would not see decay and would be exalted to God's right hand. This, Peter explains, is a reference to Jesus' resurrection and ascension.

The Crucifixion and God's Plan: Peter directly confronts the crowd, stating that they crucified Jesus. However, he emphasizes that this was not a random act, but part of God's predetermined plan.

Conclusion: The sermon culminates with a powerful declaration: "Therefore let all the house of Israel know for certain that God has made him both Lord and Christ—this Jesus whom you crucified." This is the central message—that Jesus is the promised Lord and Messiah.

This video helps viewers understand the logical flow of Peter's sermon, highlighting how he uses Old Testament prophecies to connect the events of Pentecost and Jesus' life, death, and resurrection to God's ultimate plan for salvation.

    https://youtu.be/thwgi8bn7Lg

On the Day of Pentecost, devout Jews from every nation under heaven were gathered. What happened next left them absolutely stunned: the disciples, Galileans by birth, began speaking in their own native languages – Parthians, Medes, Elamites, residents of Mesopotamia, Judea, Cappadocia, Pontus, Asia, Phrygia, Pamphylia, Egypt, parts of Libya near Cyrene, visitors from Rome (both Jews and proselytes), Cretans, and Arabs – all heard the wonders of God declared in their own tongues!

This wasn't just babbling; it was a clear, miraculous communication that unified a diverse crowd and set the stage for Peter's powerful sermon.

  • The Acts2 Church on Gretna, NE is where I found my Lord and Savior. I was there probably for about 9 years, and very active for about 7. Then, very unexpectedly, our Pastor's wife passed away in her sleep. I loved our Pastor! He was a good man and did an excellent job guiding the flock. But the death of his wife left him with a heavy burden, raising 3 younger girls and trying to lead us. So, about 8-9 months after his wife's death, he left the church due to the pressures. I could not blame him, we all supported him and the girls but he was in a lot of pain. So, then began a revolving door of new Pastors. But they each ended up leaving. After, I think number 5, the church closed it's doors which left me devastated. All of the Pastors spoke a lot about the body of the church and shepparding our faith. But they all left. This really soured me on the concept of church and I have not been back since. Hiw do i overcome this sense of broken trust?
