For youths, their bodies may be vulnerable to various challenges; God still desires to use them to display His grace and glory. Regrettably, many young people use their earthen vessel for shameful practices that defile them, such as tattooing, masturbation, rapping, drunkenness, and many others. God does not approve this. There is nothing new under the sun. People always look for something new and always want to invent something new. And when they think they found it, it is already old. Ellen G. White THE THIRD MESSAGE CLOSED I was pointed down to the time when the third angel’s message was closing. The power of God had rested upon His people; they had accomplished their work and were prepared for the trying hour before them. They had received the latter rain, or refreshing from the presence of the Lord, and the living testimony had been revived. The last great warning had sounded everywhere, and it had stirred up and enraged the inhabitants of the earth who would not receive the message. I saw angels hurrying to and fro in heaven. An angel with a writer’s inkhorn by his side returned from the earth and reported to Jesus that his work was done, and the saints were numbered and sealed. Then I saw Jesus, who had been ministering before the ark containing the ten commandments, throw down the censer. He raised His hands, and with a loud voice said, “It is done.” And all the angelic host laid off their crowns as Jesus made the solemn declaration, “He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still.” Every case had been decided for life or death. While Jesus had been ministering in the sanctuary, the judgment had been going on for the righteous dead, and then for the righteous living. Christ had received His kingdom, having made the atonement for His people and blotted out their sins. The subjects of the kingdom were made up. The marriage of the Lamb was consummated. And the kingdom, and the greatness of the kingdom under the whole heaven, was given to Jesus and the heirs of salvation, and Jesus was to reign as King of kings and Lord of lords. As Jesus moved out of the most holy place, I heard the tinkling of the bells upon His garment; and as He left, a cloud of darkness covered the inhabitants of the earth. There was then no mediator between guilty man and an offended God. While Jesus had been standing between God and guilty man, a restraint was upon the people; but when He stepped out from between man and the Father, the restraint was removed and Satan had entire control of the finally impenitent. It was impossible for the plagues to be poured out while Jesus officiated in the sanctuary; but as His work there is finished, and His intercession closes, there is nothing to stay the wrath of God, and it breaks with fury upon the shelterless head of the guilty sinner, who has slighted salvation and hated reproof. In that fearful time, after the close of Jesus’ mediation, the saints were living in the sight of a holy God without an intercessor. Every case was decided, every jewel numbered. Jesus tarried a moment in the outer apartment of the heavenly sanctuary, and the sins which had been confessed while He was in the most holy place were placed upon Satan, the originator of sin, who must suffer their punishment. Then I saw Jesus lay off His priestly attire and clothe Himself with His most kingly robes. Upon His head were many crowns, a crown within a crown. Surrounded by the angelic host, He left heaven. The plagues were falling upon the inhabitants of the earth. Some were denouncing God and cursing Him. Others rushed to the people of God and begged to be taught how they might escape His judgments. But the saints had nothing for them. The last tear for sinners had been shed, the last agonizing prayer offered, the last burden borne, the last warning given. The sweet voice of mercy was no more to invite them. When the saints, and all heaven, were interested for their salvation, they had no interest for themselves. Life and death had been set before them. Many desired life, but made no effort to obtain it. They did not choose life, and now there was no atoning blood to cleanse the guilty, no compassionate Saviour to plead for them, and cry, “Spare, spare the sinner a little longer.” All heaven had united with Jesus, as they heard the fearful words, “It is done. It is finished.” The plan of salvation had been accomplished, but few had chosen to accept it. And as mercy’s sweet voice died away, fear and horror seized the wicked. With terrible distinctness they heard the words, “Too late! too late!” Those who had not prized God’s Word were hurrying to and fro, wandering from sea to sea, and from the north to the east, to seek the Word of the Lord. Said the angel, “They shall not find it. There is a famine in the land; not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but for hearing the words of the Lord. What would they not give for one word of approval from God! but no, they must hunger and thirst on. Day after day have they slighted salvation, prizing earthly riches and earthly pleasure higher than any heavenly treasure or inducement. They have rejected Jesus and despised His saints. The filthy must remain filthy forever.” Many of the wicked were greatly enraged as they suffered the effects of the plagues. It was a scene of fearful agony. Parents were bitterly reproaching their children, and children their parents, brothers their sisters, and sisters their brothers. Loud, wailing cries were heard in every direction, “It was you who kept me from receiving the truth which would have saved me from this awful hour.” The people turned upon their ministers with bitter hate and reproached them, saying, “You have not warned us. You told us that all the world was to be converted, and cried, Peace, peace, to quiet every fear that was aroused. You have not told us of this hour; and those who warned us of it you declared to be fanatics and evil men, who would ruin us.” But I saw that the ministers did not escape the wrath of God. Matthew 26 takes us from the upper room to Gethsemane. The same chapter where bread was broken and the cup was shared is the same night He was betrayed with a kiss. Judas sold Him for thirty pieces of silver. Peter swore he would never deny Him. But Jesus pressed into the garden alone. He fell on His face, sweat like blood, and prayed the prayer that saved the world: “Not as I will, but as thou wilt.” Calvary was won first in Gethsemane. Three truths from that night: One, the cup He drank was our cup. “Let this cup pass from me.” What cup? Not just whips and nails, but the cup of God’s wrath against sin. At Calvary, He drank the hell we deserved so we could drink the grace we never deserved. Two, surrender precedes victory. “Nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt.” The battle of the Cross was won by surrender. Adam said “My will” in a garden and lost us. Christ said “Thy will” in a garden and saved us. Three, He watches when we sleep. “What, could ye not watch with me one hour?” The disciples slept, but Jesus prayed. Even now, when your flesh is weak, your Intercessor is awake. He prayed through that night so He could pay for you the next day. Have you ever felt betrayed, abandoned, or alone in prayer? Jesus has been there. The garden reminds you He knows your night. Will you also say today, “Not my will, but Thine”? # DAILY LIGHT STOP COMPLAINING: YOU HAVEN'T ASK THE FATHER IN THE NAME OF HIS SON (JESUS CHRIST) ​Grace, apostolic authority, and the uncompromising truth of the Lord Jesus Christ be multiplied to your spirit. As disciples of the Kingdom, we are not called to be victims of our circumstances; we are mandated to be spiritual legislators in the earth. ​Today, the Holy Ghost is confronting a paralyzing spiritual disease in the Body of Christ: the toxicity of complaining. We are tearing down the altars of self-pity and stepping into the raw, governmental authority of the Name of Jesus. Prepare your spirit, for this is a surgical correction meant to elevate you from a murmuring captive to a reigning son. ​The Vocabulary of Unbelief ​"Neither murmur ye, as some of them also murmured, and were destroyed of the destroyer." — 1 Corinthians 10:10 ​Complaining is not a harmless habit; it is the vocabulary of unbelief. It is the flesh's attempt to garner human sympathy without submitting to divine sovereignty. When you complain about your finances, your marriage, your ministry, or your leaders, you are indirectly indicting the leadership of the Holy Spirit. ​Murmuring kept an entire generation of Israelites out of the Promised Land. It blinded them to the supernatural provision of God and magnified their obstacles. God does not respond to your complaints; the Kingdom does not move because you are frustrated. Complaining only grants legal access to "the destroyer" to wreak havoc in your life. It is time to shut the mouth of the flesh and open the mouth of the spirit. ​The Apostolic Mandate of Asking ​"Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full." — John 16:24 ​Hear the piercing revelation of the Master. Jesus looked at His closest disciples and told them they had asked for nothing. They had worried, they had debated, and they had stressed—but they had not asked in His Name. ​Worrying is not asking. Crying out in frustration is not asking. Rehearsing your trauma to your friends is not asking. To ask in the Name of Jesus is to operate in His legal jurisdiction. The Name of Jesus is not a magical suffix you attach to the end of a carnal wish list; it is a blank check signed by the blood of the Lamb, meant to fund the will of God in your life. When you pray in His Name, you are approaching the Father not based on your own merit, but clothed in the absolute righteousness and authority of the Son. ​The Death of Entitlement and Fleshly Striving ​"Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not." — James 4:2 ​You are exhausted from fighting, scheming, and manipulating situations trying to force a breakthrough. The apostolic diagnosis is simple: You have not, because you ask not. ​To transition from complaining to commanding, absolute soul-surrender is required. You must surrender your right to be offended by your trials. You must crucify your entitlement. True discipleship demands that you bring your lack, your pain, and your confusion to the altar, completely yielding your will to the Father. You must stop trying to be the CEO of your own destiny and take up your rightful position as an intercessor. The Father is waiting to release divine supply, healing, and strategy—but He is waiting for a disciple who knows how to approach the Throne Room legally. ​Prophetic Decree and Prayer of Consecration ​"Father, in the supreme, conquering Name of Jesus Christ, I bring my soul to the altar of absolute Lordship today. I repent of the sin of complaining, murmuring, and self-pity. I renounce the vocabulary of unbelief that has empowered the destroyer in my life. I crucify my fleshly striving and my right to be offended by my circumstances. Lord, I wash my mouth with the blood of Jesus. Today, I pick up my apostolic mandate to legislate. Another vital ministry of the Holy Spirit is that He helps us to pray according to the will of God. The Apostle Paul teaches that we do not always know what we ought to pray for. Our human understanding is limited, and many times we pray based on what we see, feel, or desire. However, the Holy Spirit knows the perfect mind and will of the Father. The Scriptures reveal that the Holy Spirit searches the deep things of God and makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God. He helps us in our weaknesses, guiding our prayers so that they align with Heaven's purposes rather than our own desires. This teaches us that effective prayer is not merely speaking many words before God; it is praying in agreement with His will. As we yield to the Holy Spirit, He directs our hearts, burdens us with what is on the Father's heart, and enables us to intercede according to God's divine agenda. For this reason, every believer, and especially every intercessor, must learn to depend on the Holy Spirit in prayer. Rather than praying according to our emotions or personal preferences, we should seek His leading, allowing Him to guide every petition and every moment of intercession. Praying in the Spirit brings our prayers into harmony with God's perfect will. It keeps us from praying amiss and positions us to become effective vessels through whom God's purposes are accomplished on the earth. Child of God, cultivate a life of sensitivity to the Holy Spirit. Then he cried out and said, 'Yet forty days, and Nineveh shall be overthrown!'"* *Devotional message:* When God sent Jonah to Nineveh, the prophet initially resisted the assignment and attempted to flee from the presence of the Lord. Yet God's purpose could not be frustrated. After the Lord redirected him, Jonah faithfully proclaimed the message God had entrusted to him. The result was extraordinary. From the greatest to the least, the people of Nineveh believed God, humbled themselves with fasting, put on sackcloth, confessed their sins, and turned from their wicked ways. Even the king proclaimed a nationwide fast that extended to the animals. Seeing their genuine repentance, God showed them mercy and withheld the judgment He had intended to bring upon the city. This reveals the heart of God. His desire is not merely to pronounce judgment but to bring people to repentance and reconciliation with Himself. Throughout Scripture, God's message has always been a call for men and women to turn from sin and return to Him. The same pattern is seen in the ministry of John the Baptist. Emerging from the wilderness, his message was, "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand." Many responded by confessing their sins and being baptized in preparation for the coming Messiah. Likewise, when Jesus began His public ministry, His central message was the proclamation of the Kingdom of God and the call to repentance. The message of heaven transformed hearts because it carried the authority and purpose of God. After Christ's resurrection, He entrusted this same mission to His apostles. As they faithfully proclaimed the Gospel, God confirmed His Word with signs and wonders, and entire cities were transformed. Their effectiveness did not come from persuasive speech or popular ideas but from faithfully delivering the message the Lord had placed in their hearts. This teaches us an important principle: every believer has been entrusted with a divine assignment and a message that God desires to communicate through his or her life. The power to transform lives does not lie in preaching what is popular, entertaining, or intellectually impressive, but in faithfully proclaiming what God has spoken. Therefore, every preacher, teacher, worshipper, evangelist, and intercessor must cultivate intimacy with God. It is in His presence that we receive His heart and His message. Worship leaders must release the sound that heaven births within them rather than simply following what is trending. Intercessors must labor over the burdens that weigh upon God's heart rather than merely presenting personal desires. Ministers of the Word must proclaim God's truth rather than seeking the approval of people. Child of God, spend quality time in God's presence. Let His Word shape your heart and His Spirit reveal His will. When you carry the message of the Lord instead of your own message, He will confirm it with His power, and lives will be transformed for His glory. Lasting transformation comes when we faithfully proclaim the message God has entrusted to us rather than our own ideas or popular opinions. *Prayer:* Heavenly Father, thank You for entrusting me with the privilege of representing You. Draw me into deeper intimacy with You so that I may know Your heart and faithfully proclaim Your message. Deliver me from the desire to please people, and help me to speak only what You have placed within my spirit.
