    LESSON:
    Matthew 7:16-20

As a matter of fact, today's message is a self reflection, that's why it's topic is:

    TOPIC:
WHAT KIND OF CHRISTIAN AM I?

    TEXT:
You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles?
    Matthew 7:16–20 (NKJV)

    INTRODUCTION:
It is easy to ask, “What kind of church do I attend?” or “What kind of Christians are around me?” But today, God is asking a more personal question:
What kind of Christian am I?
Christianity is more than attending church, carrying a Bible, singing worship songs, or being known as a believer. Jesus wants our faith to be visible in the way we live, speak, love, forgive, serve and represent Him.
The real test of Christianity is not simply what we profess with our lips, but what our lives produce.
Be immensely blessed by the word in Jesus name.

    EXPOSITION:
With a sincere mind, let's examine and consider these 3 basic important points.

    1. WHAT KIND OF FRUIT IS MY LIFE PRODUCING?
    Matthew 7:16–20; Galatians 5:22–23; John 15:4–5
Jesus said, “You will know them by their fruits.”
Notice that Jesus did not say people would be known merely by their appearance, religious vocabulary, church position or spiritual title. He said they would be known by their fruit. Fruit is evidence of what is happening inside a tree. In the same way, our daily conduct reveals what is happening in our hearts.

A Christian may speak about love, but how do I treat people who offend me? I may talk about forgiveness, but can I forgive those who hurt me? I may preach holiness, but what happens when nobody is watching? I may say that I trust God, but what happens when I face disappointment? These are the moments when our fruit becomes visible.
Galatians 5:22–23 describes the fruit of the Spirit as love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.

This gives us something practical to examine.
Is there love in me? Is there patience in me?
Is there self-control in me? Can people see Christ in the way I respond under pressure?
Because sometimes, the greatest testimony we preach is not from the pulpit. It is through our behaviour when life does not go according to our expectations. Jesus also said in John 15:5, “He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit.”

Fruitfulness is therefore connected to our relationship with Christ. We cannot consistently produce Christlike character while living far from Christ. The question is not whether we once produced good fruit. The question is: What is my life producing now?

    EXPOSITION:
    2. AM I A LIGHT THAT LEADS PEOPLE TO CHRIST OR A STUMBLING BLOCK?
    Matthew 5:14–16; Romans 14:13; 1 Peter 2:12
Jesus said, “You are the light of the world.”
That means our Christianity is not supposed to remain inside the church building. People are watching us.
Our neighbours are watching. Our colleagues are watching. Our family members are watching. Young people are watching. Even people who disagree with Christianity are watching.

Sometimes, before they read the Bible, they read our lives. This is why we must ask ourselves a difficult question: Does my lifestyle make people desire to know Jesus, or does it give them another reason to reject Him? A Christian can become a stumbling block through bitterness, dishonesty, hypocrisy, arrogance, unforgiveness, gossip, immoral behaviour or an abusive attitude. Imagine telling someone that Jesus changes lives, while that person consistently sees anger, hatred and dishonesty in our own life.
    What message are we communicating?

Romans 14:13 tells believers not to put a stumbling block or a cause to fall in another believer’s way.
This does not mean that we live our lives based on people's opinions. It means we recognize that Christian freedom carries Christian responsibility.
Our lives should make the Gospel attractive, not contradictory. Jesus said in Matthew 5:16:
“Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.”

The purpose of our light is not to make people admire us. It is to make them glorify God. So, when people encounter me, what do they encounter? Christ or character problems? Grace or hostility? Truth or hypocrisy? Love or bitterness? We cannot preach the Gospel effectively with our mouths while preaching a different gospel with our lifestyle.

    EXPOSITION:
    3. AM I OBEYING CHRIST OR AM I ONLY PRACTISING RELIGION?
    John 14:15; James 1:22–25; Matthew 28:19–20
Jesus said plainly: “If you love Me, keep My commandments.” That means genuine Christianity must eventually produce obedience. It is possible to become very familiar with church activities while becoming unfamiliar with obedience to Christ.
We can attend services, participate in programmes, sing loudly, pray publicly and even hold positions in church, yet still ignore the simple commands of Jesus.

Jesus commanded us to love one another.
    He commanded us to forgive.
    He commanded us to serve.
He commanded us to make disciples.
He commanded us to preach the Gospel.
He commanded us to live as lights in a dark world.
    The question therefore becomes:
Am I doing what Jesus asked me to do?

James 1:22 warns us not to be merely hearers of the Word, but doers. Hearing God's Word without obeying it can create the illusion of spiritual maturity.
Knowledge is not the same as obedience.
Knowing that we should forgive is not forgiveness.
Knowing that we should evangelize is not evangelism.
Knowing that we should love is not love.
Knowing that we should live holy is not holiness.
At some point, the Word we hear must become the life we live. And this includes the Great Commission.

Jesus said in Matthew 28:19–20, “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations.” Every Christian may not stand behind a pulpit, but every Christian has a responsibility to represent Christ. There is somebody around us who needs encouragement.
Somebody needs to hear the Gospel.
    Somebody needs to see forgiveness.
Somebody needs to see genuine Christian love.
Somebody may be watching our life and wondering whether Jesus is truly real.

So the question is not merely:
“Am I a Christian?” The deeper question is:
“What kind of Christian am I?”
Am I a Christian by name, or by transformation?
Am I only a church member, or am I a disciple of Jesus? Am I carrying the name of Christ while refusing to carry His character?
This brings us to the conclusion of the message.

    CONCLUSION:
Today, the mirror is before us.
    Not before our neighbour.
    Not before another church member.
    Not before society. Before me.
What kind of Christian am I?
May our Christianity be more than words, titles and religious activities. May our lives produce good fruit, shine as lights, and demonstrate obedience to Christ.
Let people encounter us and see something that points them back to Jesus.

    CLOSING PRAYER:
    Let us pray!
Lord Jesus, make us genuine representatives of Your kingdom. Let our lives produce good fruit, let our character reflect You, and let our actions never become a stumbling block to others. Help us to love, forgive, serve and obey You faithfully. May our lives point people to Christ. In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.

    GOODWILL MESSAGE:
This is my goodwill message for you this week:
May your life become a living testimony of the transforming power of Jesus Christ. May your words carry grace, your character reveal Christ, and your actions draw others closer to God. May your faith remain fruitful, your light continue to shine, and your life bring glory to your Father in heaven. Amen.

    HAPPY WONDERFUL SUNDAY,
    HAVE AN AMAZING WEEK.

  • Dear God, thank You for this new day and for Your word that shows me who I’m supposed to be in You. Your word in Galatians 5:22-23 says, “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.” God, it’s not always easy to be gentle with people, to forgive them, or to have self-control over my emotions, but I’m asking You for that strength today. Help me walk in the Spirit instead of giving in to my flesh, and help me reflect Your fruit in my words and my actions in every situation I face. I want my life today to point people back to You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

But he who has been a doer of the work, this one will be blessed in what he does. -James 1:25

  • WATCH YOUR MOUTH: WHEN YOUR WORDS REVEAL YOUR HEART!

    Key Scripture
“Out of the same mouth proceedeth blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not so to be.” — James 3:10 (KJV)

    Thought of the Day...
There is tremendous power in the words we speak.
With our mouths, we praise God. We pray for the sick. We encourage the discouraged. We preach the gospel. We tell people that Jesus saves. We sing songs of worship and declare the goodness of God.
Yet James confronts us with an uncomfortable truth: the same mouth that blesses God can also become a weapon that wounds people.
We can shout “Hallelujah!” on Sunday and tear somebody down on Monday.
We can quote Scripture and still gossip.
We can pray for people publicly and speak evil about them privately.
We can proclaim the love of Jesus while harboring hatred, prejudice, racism, bitterness, resentment, or unforgiveness toward people created in the image of God.
    James says:
“My brethren, these things ought not so to be.” — James 3:10
In other words, something is wrong when our confession and our conversation contradict each other.
WHAT IS IN THE HEART WILL EVENTUALLY COME OUT OF THE MOUTH
    Jesus said:
“For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.” — Matthew 12:34 (KJV)
Our words are more than sounds—they are often windows into the condition of our hearts.
If bitterness continually comes from our mouths, we need to examine what is growing in our hearts.
If hatred comes from our mouths, we need to examine our hearts.
If racism, prejudice, degrading jokes, insults, gossip, slander, or cruelty continually come from our mouths, we cannot simply excuse it by saying, “That’s just how I talk.”
Jesus teaches that our speech reveals something deeper.
Sometimes we ask God to control our tongues when God is trying to transform our hearts.
Because if God changes the heart, eventually the conversation will change.
    David prayed:
“Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.” — Psalm 51:10 (KJV)
We don't merely need better vocabulary.
    We need transformed hearts.
FRESH WATER AND BITTER WATER SHOULD NOT COME FROM THE SAME SOURCE
    James continues:
“Doth a fountain send forth at the same place sweet water and bitter?” — James 3:11 (KJV)
James uses a simple picture with a powerful message.
You wouldn't expect to approach a freshwater spring, take one drink and receive clean water, then take another drink and receive poison.
Yet spiritually, that contradiction can happen with our mouths.
    One moment:
    “God is good!”
    The next moment:
    “I hate those people.”
    One moment:
    “Jesus loves everybody.”
The next moment, we speak contemptuously about someone because of their race, background, nationality, social status, political differences, neighborhood, education, or past.
James challenges us: How can blessing and cursing continually flow from the same source?
The gospel does not merely change where we go on Sunday.
The gospel changes who we are.
And when Christ changes who we are, He should also change how we speak and how we treat people.
YOU CANNOT CLAIM LIGHT WHILE PRACTICING HATRED
    The Apostle John writes:
“He that saith he is in the light, and hateth his brother, is in darkness even until now.” — 1 John 2:9 (KJV)
That Scripture should cause every believer to examine themselves.
Christianity is not merely what we say we believe.
It must become visible in how we live.
Church attendance cannot substitute for transformation.
A title cannot substitute for transformation.
    Preaching cannot substitute for transformation.
Singing in the choir cannot substitute for transformation.
Knowing Scripture cannot substitute for transformation.
    Jesus said:
“By their fruits ye shall know them.” — Matthew 7:20 (KJV)
And Paul tells us what Spirit-produced fruit looks like:
“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance...” — Galatians 5:22-23 (KJV)
    The question becomes:
What kind of fruit is hanging from my life?
RACISM AND PREJUDICE HAVE NO PLACE IN A CHRIST-SURRENDERED HEART
Racism and prejudice contradict the reconciling work of Jesus Christ.
    Scripture teaches that Christ:
“...hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us.” — Ephesians 2:14 (KJV)
Jesus came tearing down walls that sin had built.
Therefore, believers should not rebuild walls that Christ died to destroy.
We cannot preach reconciliation while practicing division.
We cannot celebrate grace for ourselves while denying dignity to others.
We cannot ask God to judge people according to their skin while asking Him to judge us according to His mercy.
At the foot of the cross, nobody has room to boast.
We all needed the same Savior.
We all needed the same blood.
We all needed the same grace.
We all needed the same forgiveness.
And everyone who comes to Jesus must come the same way—by grace through faith.
BUT THERE IS ALSO A DANGER IN SILENCE
Our responsibility goes beyond refusing to participate in hatred ourselves.
There are moments when love requires us to speak.
    Paul tells believers:
“But speaking the truth in love...” — Ephesians 4:15 (KJV)
    Notice both sides.
    Truth.
    And love.
Truth without love can become cruelty.
Love without truth can become compromise.
    Biblical courage requires both.
When hatred, racism, prejudice, or dehumanizing speech appears around us, believers should not laugh along simply because everyone else is laughing.
    We should not forward it.
    We should not encourage it.
We should not excuse it because the person saying it is our friend, relative, coworker, church member, favorite celebrity, or someone whose views we otherwise share.
There are moments when following Jesus means having enough courage to say:
    “That's wrong.”
    Not arrogantly.
    Not hatefully.
    Not self-righteously.
    But truthfully and lovingly.
Because silence can sometimes communicate agreement where there should have been a godly witness.
THE REAL QUESTION IS: DOES MY LIFE MATCH MY CONFESSION?
It is easy to examine everybody else's words.
But today's devotional isn't primarily about their mouth.
    It's about mine.
Before pointing at someone else, I need to ask God:
Lord, what is coming out of me?
Do my private conversations sound like Jesus?
Do my social media posts sound like Jesus?
Do my jokes sound like Jesus?
Do my comments about people who are different from me sound like Jesus?
Do I speak differently when certain people leave the room?
Would I be comfortable if Jesus physically sat beside me and listened to everything I said this week?
    That's where conviction becomes personal.
    David prayed:
“Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer.” — Psalm 19:14 (KJV)
Notice that David didn't pray only about his mouth.
    He prayed about his heart.
Because God knows that if He transforms what is happening inside of us, it will eventually transform what comes out of us.
TODAY'S CHALLENGE: WATCH YOUR MOUTH—AND CHECK YOUR HEART
Before you speak today, ask yourself:
    Does this glorify God?
    Is it true?
    Is it necessary?
Will it build someone up or unnecessarily tear someone down?
Does this reflect the character of Jesus Christ?
Would I say this if Jesus were visibly standing beside me?
And when you fail—and all of us stumble in our words—don't excuse it.
    Repent.
    Ask forgiveness.
    Make it right when necessary.
And allow the Holy Spirit to continue transforming you.
Because spiritual maturity is not demonstrated only by how loudly we praise God.
Sometimes it is demonstrated by knowing when to speak, what to speak, how to speak, and when to remain quiet.
May our mouths never become instruments of hatred while claiming to represent the God of love.
May our words never become weapons of destruction while claiming to follow the Prince of Peace.
May the same mouths that proclaim Jesus also demonstrate His character.
    Because somebody is listening.
    Somebody is watching.
And somebody may form an opinion about the Christ we profess by the way we speak to and about others.
If Jesus lives in our hearts, eventually Jesus ought to show up in our words.

    CALL TO ACTION...
    • Examine your speech. Ask yourself whether your words consistently bless, encourage, heal, and glorify God—or whether they carry bitterness, gossip, prejudice, anger, or poison.
    • Examine your heart. Ask the Holy Spirit to expose hidden prejudice, resentment, unforgiveness, pride, or hatred that may be influencing your words.
    • Repent quickly. When God convicts you about something you have said, don't justify it. Confess it, turn from it, and make amends when appropriate.
    • Refuse to participate in hatred. Don't laugh at it, share it, forward it, encourage it, or quietly help normalize it.
    • Speak truth in love. When circumstances require you to take a stand, have the courage to do so without becoming hateful yourself.
    • Walk in the Spirit daily. Ask God to make your speech evidence that Jesus Christ truly rules your heart.

    PRAYER...
Heavenly Father, in the mighty name of Jesus, I come before You asking You to search me completely.
Your Word declares, “Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts”(Psalm 139:23). Lord, shine Your light into every hidden place within me.
If there is bitterness in me, expose it.
If there is hatred in me, remove it.
If there is prejudice in me, confront it.
If there is racism in me, uproot it.
If there is unforgiveness in me, help me release it.
If there is pride in me, humble me.
If there is anything in my heart that does not look like Jesus, Lord, change me.
Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me.
Father, forgive me for every careless word I have spoken. Forgive me for words spoken in anger, words spoken out of pride, gossip, slander, insults, degrading jokes, prejudice, and anything else that dishonored You or wounded someone made in Your image.
And Lord, forgive me for those moments when I should have spoken truth in love but remained silent because I was afraid of rejection, confrontation, or discomfort.
Teach me when to speak and when to remain silent.
Teach me how to speak truth without hatred.
Teach me how to disagree without dishonoring.
Teach me how to correct without condemning.
Teach me how to stand boldly without losing the character of Christ.
Father, place a guard over my mouth.
Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in Your sight, O Lord, my strength and my Redeemer.
Holy Spirit, fill me until Your fruit overflows through my life—love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, and temperance.
Lord Jesus, make me an instrument of reconciliation in a divided world.
Where hatred has built walls, use me to demonstrate love.
Where racism has caused wounds, use me to promote healing.
Where prejudice has created division, use me to demonstrate the reconciling power of the gospel.
Where lies are being spoken, give me courage to stand for truth.
But Father, never allow me to fight hatred with hatred.
Never allow me to confront darkness while becoming dark myself.
Let me overcome evil with good.
I pray for every person who has been wounded by racism, prejudice, discrimination, hateful speech, rejection, or degrading treatment. Father, heal the places nobody else can see. Restore what hatred tried to steal. Remind them that their worth is not determined by another person's prejudice but by the God who created them in His image.
And Lord, I pray for those whose hearts have been consumed by hatred. Convict them. Break the chains of prejudice. Open blinded eyes. Bring them to genuine repentance and allow them to encounter the transforming grace of Jesus Christ.
    And Father, start with me.
Before I examine somebody else's mouth, help me examine mine.
Before I judge somebody else's heart, search mine.
Before I demand change from somebody else, show me where I need to change.
I surrender my heart, my mind, my attitude, my conversations, my social media, my private words, and my public words to You.
From this day forward, let my mouth be used as an instrument of Your glory.
May I bless and not curse.
Build up and not tear down.
    Heal and not wound.
    Encourage and not discourage.
    Speak truth and reject lies.
    Promote reconciliation and not division.
And above everything else, may my words cause people to see Jesus Christ living in me.

    I declare:
    My mouth belongs to God.
    My words belong to God.
    My heart belongs to God.
And by the power of the Holy Spirit, I will strive to make sure that what comes out of my mouth agrees with the Christ I claim lives within my heart.
In the mighty, matchless, saving, transforming, and powerful name of Jesus Christ, I pray.
    Amen and Amen!

    Final Thought...
Don't just ask God to change your vocabulary—ask Him to change your heart. Because when Jesus truly transforms the heart, eventually the mouth will testify that something on the inside has changed.
“Out of the same mouth proceedeth blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not so to be.” — James 3:10 (KJV)
WATCH YOUR MOUTH: WHEN YOUR WORDS REVEAL YOUR HEART! Key Scripture “Out of the same mouth proceedeth blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not so to be.” — James 3:10 (KJV) Thought of the Day... James says: “My brethren, these things ought not so to be.” — James 3:10 In other words, something is wrong when our confession and our conversation contradict each other. WHAT IS IN THE HEART WILL EVENTUALLY COME OUT OF THE MOUTH Jesus said: “For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.” — Matthew 12:34 (KJV) Our words are more than sounds—they are often windows into the condition of our hearts. If bitterness continually comes from our mouths, we need to examine what is growing in our hearts. If hatred comes from our mouths, we need to examine our hearts. If racism, prejudice, degrading jokes, insults, gossip, slander, or cruelty continually come from our mouths, we cannot simply excuse it by saying, “That’s just how I talk.” Jesus teaches that our speech reveals something deeper. Sometimes we ask God to control our tongues when God is trying to transform our hearts. Because if God changes the heart, eventually the conversation will change. David prayed: “Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.” — Psalm 51:10 (KJV) We don't merely need better vocabulary. We need transformed hearts. FRESH WATER AND BITTER WATER SHOULD NOT COME FROM THE SAME SOURCE James continues: “Doth a fountain send forth at the same place sweet water and bitter?” — James 3:11 (KJV) James uses a simple picture with a powerful message. You wouldn't expect to approach a freshwater spring, take one drink and receive clean water, then take another drink and receive poison. Yet spiritually, that contradiction can happen with our mouths. One moment: “God is good!” The next moment: “I hate those people.” One moment: “Jesus loves everybody.” The next moment, we speak contemptuously about someone because of their race, background, nationality, social status, political differences, neighborhood, education, or past. James challenges us: How can blessing and cursing continually flow from the same source? The gospel does not merely change where we go on Sunday. The gospel changes who we are. And when Christ changes who we are, He should also change how we speak and how we treat people. YOU CANNOT CLAIM LIGHT WHILE PRACTICING HATRED The Apostle John writes: “He that saith he is in the light, and hateth his brother, is in darkness even until now.” — 1 John 2:9 (KJV) That Scripture should cause every believer to examine themselves. Jesus said: “By their fruits ye shall know them.” — Matthew 7:20 (KJV) And Paul tells us what Spirit-produced fruit looks like: “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance...” — Galatians 5:22-23 (KJV) The question becomes: What kind of fruit is hanging from my life? RACISM AND PREJUDICE HAVE NO PLACE IN A CHRIST-SURRENDERED HEART Racism and prejudice contradict the reconciling work of Jesus Christ. Scripture teaches that Christ: “...hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us.” — Ephesians 2:14 (KJV) Jesus came tearing down walls that sin had built. BUT THERE IS ALSO A DANGER IN SILENCE Our responsibility goes beyond refusing to participate in hatred ourselves. There are moments when love requires us to speak. Paul tells believers: “But speaking the truth in love...” — Ephesians 4:15 (KJV) Notice both sides. Truth. There are moments when following Jesus means having enough courage to say: “That's wrong.” Not arrogantly. Before pointing at someone else, I need to ask God: Lord, what is coming out of me? Do my private conversations sound like Jesus? Do my social media posts sound like Jesus? Do my jokes sound like Jesus? Do my comments about people who are different from me sound like Jesus? Do I speak differently when certain people leave the room? Would I be comfortable if Jesus physically sat beside me and listened to everything I said this week? That's where conviction becomes personal. David prayed: “Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer.” — Psalm 19:14 (KJV) Notice that David didn't pray only about his mouth. He prayed about his heart. Because God knows that if He transforms what is happening inside of us, it will eventually transform what comes out of us. TODAY'S CHALLENGE: WATCH YOUR MOUTH—AND CHECK YOUR HEART Before you speak today, ask yourself: Does this glorify God? TITLE: "WALKING WITH CHRIST, BEARING FRUIT FOR GOD"

    ANCHOR SCRIPTURE(S)

Colossians 1:10 (KJV) "That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;"

John 15:5 (KJV) "I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing."

    QUOTE TO REFLECT ON

"A fruitful Christian life begins with abiding deeply in Christ."

    DAY'S REFLECTION

God does not merely save us so that we can exist as Christians; He calls us to walk worthy of the Lord, bear fruit, and continually grow in our relationship with Him.

In Colossians 1:10, Paul describes a life that pleases God. To walk worthy means that our daily conduct should reflect the character of Christ. Our faith should be visible in our words, choices, relationships, work, and treatment of others.

Paul also says believers should be fruitful in every good work. Fruitfulness means that our relationship with God produces visible results—love, kindness, patience, generosity, obedience, forgiveness, service, and godly influence. A healthy tree naturally produces fruit; likewise, a believer who is spiritually healthy should produce evidence of Christ's life within.

The source of this fruitfulness is explained by Jesus in John 15:5. Christ describes Himself as the Vine and believers as the branches. A branch cannot produce fruit independently of the vine. In the same way, we cannot live a truly fruitful Christian life through human strength alone. We must abide in Christ—remaining connected to Him through prayer, His Word, obedience, worship, and continual dependence on His grace.

Jesus' statement, "without me ye can do nothing," is not meant to discourage us but to teach us where our strength comes from. We may possess talents, education, experience, resources, and opportunities, but lasting spiritual fruit comes from Christ.

Life becomes more fruitful when Christ becomes our source rather than merely an addition to our lives. As we remain connected to Him, He changes our character, directs our decisions, strengthens us in trials, and enables us to bless others.

Today, examine your connection with Christ. Do not simply ask God to bless your plans; remain close enough to Him for your plans to become aligned with His will. Abide in Christ, walk worthy of Him, and let your life bear fruit that glorifies God.

    MEDITATION SCRIPTURE(S)

Galatians 5:22–23 (KJV) "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law."

Psalm 1:2–3 (KJV) "But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper."

    LIFE LESSONS (IMPLICATIONS)

    1. A life that pleases God must reflect Christ in daily conduct.

    2. Spiritual fruitfulness comes from remaining connected to Jesus.

    3. God's Word and prayer strengthen our relationship with Christ.

    4. True fruitfulness is measured by godly character, obedience, service, and positive influence.

    EVERYDAY ACTION

Abide in Christ through prayer and His Word, then deliberately show His love through your words and actions today.

    PRAYER

Lord Jesus, help me abide deeply in You. Make my life fruitful, increase my knowledge of You, and let my words and actions continually please and glorify You. Amen.

    DECLARATION

I abide in Christ, and my life bears good fruit. I walk worthy of the Lord, grow in His knowledge, and abound in every good work for His glory. Amen.

  • If this is true, we should welcome trials and testings when they come, because they force us to draw more and more upon the source of all strength, producing more of the patience that is the fruit of the Spirit. It is the regular exercise of patience and longsuffering in the small day-to-day frustrations and irritations that prepares us to endure when the great battles come. - BILLY GRAHAM

    ✝Grace Begins With God’s Heart ✝
    Combined Study with Scripture

Grace does not begin with human failure; it begins with God’s nature. Grace is the expression of His heart toward people who cannot save themselves. Every spiritual journey starts with grace because God moves first, loves first, and restores first.

God’s Nature of Grace , Grace flows from who God is. He does not give it reluctantly or sparingly. Scripture reveals His character as merciful, compassionate, and gracious.
Exodus 34:6 — “The Lord, the Lord God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abundant in goodness and truth.”
Grace is not a reaction to sin; it is the overflow of God’s eternal heart.

Grace Moves First, Before humanity ever reached for God, grace reached for us. God initiates redemption.
Romans 5:8 — “But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”
Grace is God stepping toward broken people before they step toward Him.

Grace Rescues the Helpless, Grace is God’s decision to save those who cannot save themselves. Human effort cannot produce salvation. Ephesians 2:8–9 — “For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God.”

Grace lifts the fallen, restores the wounded, and brings life where there was none.
Grace Starts Every Spiritual Journey, No believer begins with strength or righteousness. Every believer begins with grace.
Titus 3:5 — “Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us.”

Grace is the doorway into faith and the foundation of discipleship.
Grace Reveals God’s Heart, Grace shows us how God feels about His people. He is not distant or reluctant. He is committed, compassionate, and willing to restore.
Psalm 103:8 — “The Lord is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy.”
Grace is God’s heart made visible.

Prayer, Father, thank You that grace begins with Your heart. You are merciful, compassionate, and overflowing with goodness. Let Your grace be seen clearly in this teaching today. Open the hearts of Your people to understand that You move first, You rescue fully, and You restore completely. Let Your grace start new journeys, heal broken places, and awaken fresh hope. We trust Your heart, and we receive Your grace. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

  • Need to know.
“Tell them bad weather is coming, and they prepare! Tell them JESUS is coming, and they do nothing!”

This quote exposes a tragic reality. People will rush to prepare for a temporary storm, but many neglect to prepare for eternity. They will stock up on food, water, and supplies, yet ignore the salvation that is found only in Jesus Christ.

The Lord Jesus warned us to be ready:

“Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.” — Matthew 24:42 (KJV)

God has given warning after warning through His Word. The signs of the times remind us that Christ's return is drawing near. The greatest preparation is not filling a pantry—it is having a heart that has repented of sin and trusted in Jesus Christ.

    The apostle Paul wrote:

“And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed.” — Romans 13:11 (KJV)

Many dismiss the message of Christ's coming because judgment seems delayed. Yet Scripture says:

“The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.” — 2 Peter 3:9 (KJV)

Do not prepare only for the storms of this life while neglecting the day you will stand before God. Repent of your sins, believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, walk in obedience to His Word, and be ready for His appearing.

“Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.” — Matthew 24:44 (KJV)

  • Good morning, brethren.
    1. Morning devotion for today.

    MD.i. MORNING TEA
    THE WORD FOR TODAY
    SATURDAY AUGUST 1, 2O26.
    "TAKE THE PLUNGE (1)"

‘…The prudent Wise Basharat considers well his steps.’ Proverbs 14:15 NKJV

AFTER YOU’VE prayed, planned, and prepared, there comes a point where you’ve got to take the plunge. Is it scary? Absolutely! There are two kinds of people: Those who leap before they look; they are driven by impulse. Then there are those who look, look, and look but never leap; they are controlled by fear. Which are you? To get to the Promised Land, Israel had to cross the River Jordan at flood tide. It must have made the strongest heart skip a beat. God had promised that when the feet of the priests carrying the ark stepped into the water, it would roll back. Can you imagine their thoughts? ‘Couldn’t we wait till the tide goes down? Why do I have to go first? What if the waters don’t roll back and I drown?’ The step between prudence and paranoia is short and steep. Prudence wears a seatbelt; paranoia avoids cars altogether. Prudence washes with soap; paranoia avoids human contact altogether. Prudence saves for old age; paranoia clings to every penny. Prudence prepares and plans; paranoia panics. Prudence calculates the risk and takes the plunge; paranoia never enters the water. To reach your God-ordained destiny, you must stop holding back, obey God, and step into the water. The moment you do, doors will begin to open, and resources will be released, where there now seems to be only a shortage. God will provide the means, the method, and the manpower. So stand on His promise: ‘…I have loved you; therefore I will give men for you, and people for your life. Fear not, for I am with you…’ (Isaiah 43:4-5 NKJV).

And I myself will fight against you with an outstretched hand and with a strong arm, even in anger, and in fury, and in great wrath" (JEREMIAH 21:4, 5).*_

*What would make a loving father to give up on his biological son?*

*Zedekiah was the reigning king when Jerusalem fell to the Babylonians. He had tried to overrun the invading army of Babylon but his attempt was not approved by God. When the people sought divine help, Jeremiah made it clear to Zedekiah the king, "Thus saith the LORD God of Israel; Behold, I will turn back the weapons of war that are in your hands, wherewith ye fight against the king of Babylon." In other words, God's answer was an emphatic 'no'. Consequently, the two sons of Zedekiah were slaughtered before his eyes by the Babylonians. His own eyes were blinded and in painful humiliation, he was led away in chains to Babylon where he died later in exile.*

*The underlying spiritual cause of the fall of Judah and Jerusalem was not so much due to the superior military might of Babylon as to the effect of God's decree against the people because of Manasseh's sin and Judah's apostasy. God never excuses unconfessed sin. He judges and punishes it. There are those with the misguided mind-set that God winks at sin and that grace covers all acts of impropriety. How catastrophically wrong such warped souls are. You can't ride rough shod over His Son's painful death on the cross and expect a soft-glove treatment.*

*Those who repeatedly reject God's clear reproof and warning, who despise His chastening and correction, run the inevitable risk of excluding themselves from His grace. There is no more plea for mercy when once God's grace is abused and rejected. God's love must not be taken for granted. This dispensation of grace does not give license for carelessness and recalcitrant behaviour.*

*Those who are born again, like Joseph in Egypt who faced the challenge of defiling himself with his master's wife, would not yield to the temptation of sinning against God. *WHEN GOD TURNS TO AN ENEMY OF HIS CHOSEN PEOPLE*

    *TEXT:* JEREMIAH 21:1-14.

1The word which came unto Jeremiah from the LORD, when king Zedekiah sent unto him Pashur the son of Melchiah, and Zephaniah the son of Maaseiah the priest, saying,
2 Enquire, I pray thee, of the LORD for us; for Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon maketh war against us; if so be that the LORD will deal with us according to all his wondrous works, that he may go up from us.
3 Then said Jeremiah unto them, Thus shall ye say to Zedekiah:
4 Thus saith the Lord GOD of Israel; Behold, I will turn back the weapons of war that are in your hands, wherewith ye fight against the king of Babylon, and against the Chaldeans, which besiege you without the walls, and I will assemble them into the midst of this city.
5 And I myself will fight against you with an outstretched hand and with a strong arm, even in anger, and in fury, and in great wrath.
6 And I will smite the inhabitants of this city, both man and beast: they shall die of a great pestilence.
7 And afterward, saith the LORD, I will deliver Zedekiah king of Judah, and his servants, and the people, and such as are left in this city from the pestilence, from the sword, and from the famine, into the hand of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon, and into the hand of their enemies, and into the hand of those that seek their life: and he shall smite them with the edge of the sword; he shall not spare them, neither have pity, nor have mercy.
8 And unto this people thou shalt say, Thus saith the LORD; Behold, I set before you the way of life, and the way of death.
9 He that abideth in this city shall die by the sword, and by the famine, and by the pestilence: but he that goeth out, and falleth to the Chaldeans that besiege you, he shall live, and his life shall be unto him for a prey.
10 For I have set my face against this city for evil, and not for good, saith the LORD: it shall be given into the hand of the king of Babylon, and he shall burn it with fire.
    11 And touching the house of the king of Judah, say, Hear ye the word of the LORD;
12 O house of David, thus saith the LORD; Execute judgment in the morning, and deliver him that is spoiled out of the hand of the oppressor, lest my fury go out like fire, and burn that none can quench it, because of the evil of your doings.
13 Behold, I am against thee, O inhabitant of the valley, and rock of the plain, saith the LORD; which say, Who shall come down against us? or who shall enter into our habitations?
14 But I will punish you according to the fruit of your doings, saith the LORD: and I will kindle a fire in the forest thereof, and it shall devour all things round about it.

*Timeless Truth:*_"And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart_(Jeremiah 29:13).

    *INTRODUCTION*

What would life have looked like if at your tender age your parents decided to turn to be your adversary?
God is loving, merciful and longsuffering, yet He is also holy and just. When His chosen people persist in rebellion, reject His warnings and refuse to repent, His protective hand can be withdrawn and He may fight against them instead of for them. Jeremiah 21 records King Zedekiah's desperate appeal for divine intervention when Jerusalem was under siege by Babylon. Rather than promising deliverance, God declared that He Himself would oppose Judah because of their persistent sins. This passage warns believers against insincere repentance and highlights God's justice as well as His mercy toward those who genuinely turn to Him.

*1. Insincere Seekers Due to Fear of Sufferings*

    a. Years back, Samaria had been captured and sent into captivity by Assyria. The same fate was looming for Judah for the same reasons. King Zedekiah sent messengers to Jeremiah to inquire of the Lord when the Babylonian army threatened Jerusalem. He knew the reason why God wanted to destroy them, but was not willing to bow to God's demands of repentance from all evils that beset them. His request and seeking for God was motivated by fear rather than true repentance. He hoped God would perform another miracle as He had done in previous generations unconditionally.
    b. Many people remember God only when trouble comes. They seek the face of God passionately not because they want to know and serve God, but because they want relief and deliverance from the pains, poverty and all kinds of problems. *"Yet they seek me daily"* (Isaiah 58:2). Their zeal and prayers are only motivated by what they would get from God and not what they would give to God as a mark of love for Him. They want to use God and are not willing for God to use them to His glory. Such are not sincere seekers, but God looks beyond desperate prayers to the condition of the heart. Genuine repentance involves confession, humility and a willingness to obey God, not merely seeking escape from suffering.

    *Question*

Am I seeking God because I truly love Him or only because I want Him to remove my problems?

*2. Inhuman Sufferings Due to Fight by the Saviour*

    a. A protracted and unyielding stubbornness will be rewarded with a severe and inhuman punishment that is expected to bring the stubborn to God for his own good. God declared that *"I myself will fight against you (Jerusalem) with my own outstretched hand"*. The weapons of Judah would fail, the city would be handed over to Nebuchadnezzar and pestilence, famine and the sword would consume the people. The One who had always defended Israel would now become their Judge because of their persistent rebellion. No fortress, human wisdom or military strength can stand when God opposes a people. *"For I have set my face against this city for evil, and not for good"*. It is a fearful thing when the Saviour becomes the One executing judgment against those who reject His commands.
    b. Unfortunately, the king, like all hypocritical seekers, after hearing those terrible pronouncements from God, was not interested in how to reconcile with God in His own terms, but was only interested in the reversal of divine judgments unconditionally. God does not work like that. God seeks a good relationship with man that is based on holiness, righteousness and godly character. *"But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him."*. Seek for a genuine relationship and closer walk with God and all the challenges will be taken care of by God.

    *Question*

Is there any area of persistent disobedience that could bring me into conflict with God's will?

*3. Incomprehensible Sympathy and Favour for the Sinners*

    a. Even while announcing judgment, God displayed remarkable mercy. *"Behold I set before you the way of life and the way of death"*. God in His incomprehensible love and mercy will always give a window of hope for those who are willing to retrace their steps. Those who surrendered according to His instruction would preserve their lives.
    b. God also called the royal house to execute justice and righteousness before it was too late. The rulers have the greater blame because they were expected to know better. *"O house of David, thus saith the LORD; Execute judgment in the morning, and deliver him that is spoiled out of the hand of the oppressor, lest my fury go out like fire, and burn that none can quench it, because of the evil of your doings"*. His judgments are never without opportunities for repentance. God's compassion shines brightly because He still offers hope, even to those who deserve punishment, if they will humble themselves and obey His voice. Repent now before it is too late.

    *Question*

Will I respond immediately to God's call to repentance or delay until judgment overtakes me?

    *Prayer Points*

1.Lord, give me a sincere and obedient heart of worship that is not based on selfish considerations .
2.Father, convict and purge me from every disobedience that may still be affecting my relationship with You .
3.Lord, help me to walk in righteousness, justice and complete obedience to Your Word every day .
4.Lord, visit Your Church and enable all Your people to focus on seeking You and the kingdom of God above all else .

    2. Morning Prayer for today.

    MP.i. Morning Prayer

And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, [do] all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him. ⏤ Colossians 3:17

To be little with God is to be little for God. ⏤ E.M. Bounds

We come to Your feet, our Father, to receive Your blessing as we go out into the world. We want to make this a beautiful day. Help us to be diligent and cover us with Your wings of love. Let us not rely on our own understanding or follow the devices and desires of our own deceitful hearts. May we live today in You and for You—honoring You in all that we do and say.

We humbly seek Your favor upon the work of our hands. Help us to do it well. Save us from all negligence and laziness. We want to honor You even in the most ordinary tasks of this day. May we do everything as if under Your eye and for Your approval. Save us from being satisfied with low standards and help us to do our best, even in the smallest things.

Sanctify our influence so that we may be a blessing to everyone whose life we touch. Let us not be a hindrance to the good or the joy of anyone. Let us not discourage those who are struggling with hardship, trials, or temptations—but may we instead be encouragers of all whom we meet. May we carry cheer in our faces and inspire cheer in others. Guard our words so that we may speak no unkind words. May our conversation be such that it helps others.

We pray for our friends, some of whom are carrying heavy burdens. Some are sick. We pray that You will heal and comfort the sick and strengthen those whose loads are too heavy for them to bear. We ask You to care for the poor and all who are in any trouble. Send to us anyone in need whom You would have us befriend or help, or send us to them with a blessing.

Hear us in our prayers and bless us, we ask in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

    *TOPIC:*
    ETERNAL PUNISHMENT.

    *THE MESSAGE:*
Eternal punishment is the fate of those who reject God's grace. Today's text emphasizes the certainty and urgency of Christ's return. He is coming to reward everyone according to their deeds. What an impartial Judge! Those who accepted God's grace of salvation through Christ and live righteously will have access to the Tree of Life and the gates of the city. They will enjoy God's presence eternally. Alas, those who reject God and indulge in sinful behaviours such as magic arts, sexual immorality, killing of people, idolatry, witchcraft, falsehood, terrorism, kidnapping, armed robbery, and the like, as a lifestyle, will be thrown in hell fire forever. Have you accepted God's grace? If not, repent! Do not be deceived by the notion that a gracious God cannot punish.

    *REFLECTION:*
    Evil doers shall be punished.

    *PRAYER:*
Father, thank You for the access to eternal life. Amen.

    *MEMORY VERSE FOR THE MONTH:*
    HEBREWS 10:29.
How much more severely do you think one deserves to be punished who has trampled on the Son of God, profaned the blood of the covenant that sanctified him, and insulted the Spirit of grace?

    *TODAY'S BIBLE READING PLAN:*
    ISAIAH 63–66.

    ED.ii. HAPPINESS IS A CHOICE

"The Lord has done it this very day; let us rejoice today and be glad." - Psalm 118:24

Being able to wake up and breathe again this morning is grace from God. God has given us another day to live and God wants us to be happy on this new day. You do not have to wait until you achieve all you want, until you reach your goal; joy is a choice you make. When you get up in the morning, you make a choice to enjoy the day. You decide whether you make your heart a happy heart or whether you allow yourself to be influenced by the difficulties in life.

If you make the mistake to only look at circumstances, you will miss the blessing God has in store for you. A sad face because you are irritated or angry does not change your situation. If this does not make a difference, then you might as well be happy.

Start to sing: 'this is the day, this is the day that the Lord has made, that the Lord has made. We will rejoice, we will rejoice and be glad in it.' Or sing: 'I will enter His gates with thanksgiving in my heart. I will enter His courts with praise.' The choice to be happy is yours. You will feel better and it also gives a positive attitude towards faith, which in turn inspires others.

    Stop worrying

If you want to be happy and joyful, you must stop worrying about how things will go tomorrow or next year or later on. Jesus says in Matthew 6:25-33: 'Do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes?... Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?...But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.' Learn to live day by day. Of course, it is good to make plans, but do not only live in the future, live today and enjoy life.

    https://www.theblessingdevotional.com

    2. Evening Prayer for today.

    EP.i. Evening Prayer

Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved. ⏤ Psalm 55:22

We have to pray with our eyes on God, not on the difficulties. ⏤ Oswald Chambers

The shadows have deepened around us, O God, and we draw near to You. As birds fly to their nests when night comes, as little children run home—so we come to You. Receive us and shelter us in Your divine love. We thank You that we have access to You; that although we have sinned, Jesus Christ died for sinners, and the way to You is open. We have no right to come to You except through the mediation of Your Son. In His name, we come, pleading for forgiveness and access.

May Your blessing be upon all the work of our hands today. It has been imperfect. But may You take it and build it into Your kingdom. You are using the weak things, the base things, and things that are nothing—and You can use even the poor broken fragments of today’s efforts.

We ask for a special blessing on our home tonight. Bless our home life. May each one of us know our part in making the home beautiful and blessed—and may we all do what we know we should do to bring the fullness of Jesus' peace into our home. May our fellowship as a family become more tender and affectionate. Save us from all bitterness and impatience, from irritability, and from being easily provoked. May our home love be strengthened, and may we learn to live together sweetly.

We remember our neighbors. You have commanded us to love our neighbors as ourselves. We desire to obey You, and we ask You to teach us this divine love. If we have failed today, forgive us. Grant us more and more of Your love, and then we will be able to love rightly.

Hear us, O God, in our prayer, and grant us Your holy peace. We ask all this in the name of Christ Jesus. Amen.

"TAKE THE PLUNGE (1)" ‘…The prudent [wise] considers well his steps.’ Proverbs 14:15 NKJV AFTER YOU’VE prayed, planned, and prepared, there comes a point where you’ve got to take the plunge. His own eyes were blinded and in painful humiliation, he was led away in chains to Babylon where he died later in exile.* *The underlying spiritual cause of the fall of Judah and Jerusalem was not so much due to the superior military might of Babylon as to the effect of God's decree against the people because of Manasseh's sin and Judah's apostasy. God never excuses unconfessed sin. He judges and punishes it. There are those with the misguided mind-set that God winks at sin and that grace covers all acts of impropriety. How catastrophically wrong such warped souls are. You can't ride rough shod over His Son's painful death on the cross and expect a soft-glove treatment.* *Those who repeatedly reject God's clear reproof and warning, who despise His chastening and correction, run the inevitable risk of excluding themselves from His grace. There is no more plea for mercy when once God's grace is abused and rejected. God's love must not be taken for granted. This dispensation of grace does not give license for carelessness and recalcitrant behaviour.* ✍🏽```THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:``` _*Kings and rulers are not to take God's grace for granted.*_ 📜📜```THE BIBLE IN ONE YEAR:``` *JOHN 1-3*📜📜 Escaping Looming Catastrophe https://dailymanna.app// *RECOMMENDED GOSPEL HYMNS AND SONGS - GHS 205: HAVE YOU COUNTED THE COST?; GHS 204: YE MUST BE BORN AGAIN; AND GHS 208: THE GREAT JUDGMENT MORNING* *TXD [THEXDEVOTIONALS] on Twitter* *#DailyManna1stAugust2026* *#GCK* *#WorshipNuggets* *#BibleNuggets* *#LeadershipNuggets* *#RevivalNuggets* *#CrusadeNuggets* https://www.youtube.com/[THEXDEVOTIONALS] [31/07, 9:41 pm] Pastor Attah: ```DEEPER CHRISTIAN LIFE MINISTRY``` _*HIGHER EVERYD🅰️Y: (A DAILY DEVOTIONAL GUIDE FOR YOUTHS)*_ ✍🏽👩🏻‍💼🌻 🍇🙏🏽🛰🚀🔬📚 ```SATURDAY 1ST AUGUST, 2026``` *PECULIAR PEOPLE* 🎚️📓📖🫵🏽🙋🏽‍♂️🙋🏽‍♀️🧎🏽🧎🏽‍♀️🙏🏽 📜📜```TEXT:1 PETER 2:9-11```📜📜 📖``` MEMORY VERSE:``` _*"But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light" (1 PETER 2:9).*_ *According to Ellen G. Christians are peculiar people because they are saved by God for them to show forth His glory.* *Those who are born again, like Joseph in Egypt who faced the challenge of defiling himself with his master's wife, would not yield to the temptation of sinning against God. "How then can I do this great wickedness, and sin against God?" said Joseph when his master's wife wanted to dedile him.* *You should endeavour to abstain from all forms of lust to retain your peculiarity as a child in the kingdom of God. Remember, the devil is still enticing people with the aim of trapping their souls in eternal doom. Like the peculiar Joseph, flee objects of temptation. *1. Insincere Seekers Due to Fear of Sufferings* a. *Question* Am I seeking God because I truly love Him or only because I want Him to remove my problems? *2. Inhuman Sufferings Due to Fight by the Saviour* a. *Question* Is there any area of persistent disobedience that could bring me into conflict with God's will? *3. Incomprehensible Sympathy and Favour for the Sinners* a. *Question* Will I respond immediately to God's call to repentance or delay until judgment overtakes me? *Prayer Points* 1.Lord, give me a sincere and obedient heart of worship that is not based on selfish considerations 🙏. 2.Father, convict and purge me from every disobedience that may still be affecting my relationship with You 🙏. 3.Lord, help me to walk in righteousness, justice and complete obedience to Your Word every day 🙏. 4.Lord, visit Your Church and enable all Your people to focus on seeking You and the kingdom of God above all else 🙏. *HYMN:* O Why Not Tonight? *BIBLE IN ONE YEAR:* JOHN 1-3. 2. Morning Prayer for today. MP.i. Morning Prayer And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, [do] all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him. ⏤ Colossians 3:17 To be little with God is to be little for God. ⏤ E.M. Bounds We come to Your feet, our Father, to receive Your blessing as we go out into the world. Amen. https://www.youdevotion.com/daily-prayer/miller/27/morning #taptapstudio #youdevotion. Good evening, brethren. 1. Evening devotion for today. ED.i. *DAILY WALK WITH CHRIST* (COCIN DEVOTIONAL) *DATE:* FRIDAY 31ST JULY 2026. *SUB-THEME:* CONSEQUENCES OF REJECTING GOD'S GRACE. *TOPIC:* ETERNAL PUNISHMENT. *TEXT:* REVELATION 22:12–15. 12 “See! I am coming soon! My reward is with Me to repay everyone according to his behavior. Psa 62:12 Jer 17:10 Jer 32:19 Mat 16:27 Rom 2:6 Rom 14:12 1Co 3:8 2Co 5:10 Gal 6:5 Rev 2:23 [Job 34:11] [Pro 24:12] 13 I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End. *REFLECTION:* Evil doers shall be punished. *PRAYER:* Father, thank You for the access to eternal life. Amen. *MEMORY VERSE FOR THE MONTH:* HEBREWS 10:29. How much more severely do you think one deserves to be punished who has trampled on the Son of God, profaned the blood of the covenant that sanctified him, and insulted the Spirit of grace? *TODAY'S BIBLE READING PLAN:* ISAIAH 63–66. ED.ii. HAPPINESS IS A CHOICE "The Lord has done it this very day; let us rejoice today and be glad." - Psalm 118:24 Being able to wake up and breathe again this morning is grace from God. Stop worrying If you want to be happy and joyful, you must stop worrying about how things will go tomorrow or next year or later on. Of course, it is good to make plans, but do not only live in the future, live today and enjoy life. https://www.theblessingdevotional.com 2. Evening Prayer for today. EP.i. Evening Prayer Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved. ⏤ Psalm 55:22 We have to pray with our eyes on God, not on the difficulties. ⏤ Oswald Chambers The shadows have deepened around us, O God, and we draw near to You. Amen. https://www.youdevotion.com/daily-prayer/miller/26/evening #taptapstudio #youdevotion.
