• Good morning, brethren.
    1. Morning devotion for today.

    MD.i. MORNING TEA
    THE WORD FOR TODAY
    SATURDAY AUGUST 22, 2O26.
    " THREE LEVELS OF ATTACK (2)"

    Then the devil…set Him on the pinnacle...’ Matthew 4:5 NKJV

    THE ATTACK on the pinnacle. Let’s look at the second temptation Jesus faced: ‘Then the devil took Him up into the holy city, [and] set Him on the pinnacle of the temple.’ Here you deal with the fear of failure. Satan will whisper, ‘You’re on the pinnacle of success now, but you could easily fall off.’ He will bring up your past failures. He will remind you of leaders who crashed and burned. He will say, ‘If people realised how little you really know, or the issues you’re struggling with, they wouldn’t respect you.’ There are two kinds of fear: healthy fear and unhealthy fear. Healthy fear will keep you dependent on God; it will protect you from pride and self-sufficiency. ‘Therefore let him who thinks he stands take heed lest he fall’ (1 Corinthians 10:12 NKJV). But there’s an unhealthy fear that will keep you in the boat when Jesus is calling to you to step out and walk with Him on the water. You say, ‘But Peter almost drowned.’ Yes, but he was the only one of the disciples who experienced the joy of walking on the water! Having faith doesn’t mean you won’t experience a sinking feeling at times. You have a choice. You can give in to fear, or trust the God who has called you, sustained you, and never failed to give you the strength needed to cope with whatever you face. If your own intellect or talents are the basis of your confidence, you have good reason to fear. But if God is the basis of your confidence, you have nothing to fear.

    *WANT TO BE A RESERVOIR OF DIVINE BLESSINGS?*

    *TEXT:* PSALM 1:1-6.

    1 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.
    2 But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.
    3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.
    4 The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away.
    5 Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.
    6 For the LORD knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish.

    *Timeless Truth:*_"And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God"_ (Deuteronomy 28:2).

    *INTRODUCTION*

    Every believer desires the blessings of God, but Scripture makes it clear that divine blessings are connected with the way we live, the company we keep and the delight we have in God’s Word. The text presents a sharp contrast between the righteous and the wicked. The righteous person is not merely blessed, occasionally; he becomes like a fruitful tree, continually supplied by divine grace. Furthermore, for the Old Testament saints, the blessings of God and the God’s Covenants with the Patriachs were majorly earthly and material. However, for the New Testament saints, the blessings are majorly spiritual and heavenly, though, with earthly blessings and wealth embedded. The uniform testimony of the Scriptures is that in order to be blessed by God and even be a reservoir of divine blessings, we must deliberately, separate ourselves from ungodly influences, delight in God’s Word and remain spiritually rooted in Him.

    *1. The Conditions for Divine Blessings*

    a. Every creature of God enjoys the blessings of God in some shape and form. For example, the air we breathe is universal and the sunshine and the rain we enjoy are without discrimination though God has the power to do so if He wants. However, there are some blessings of God that are given to select few, in particular His children. They are multidimensional blessings including both physical, material, social and spiritual blessings, spanning through all human needs without exception. Receiving these blessings result into all round prosperity which is promised by God. *"Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth"* (3 John 2). Apostle Peter summed up all these blessings as things that pertain to life and godliness. *"According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises"* (1 Peter 1:3, 4a). These divinely provided blessings are even richer and deeper than what the Psalmist in the text was aware of.
    b. The psalmist begins by identifying what the blessed person does not do and what he does. He *"walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful"*. This describes progressive involvement with ungodliness. The blessed person carefully chooses his companions, conversations, character, contacts, connections and control. He is so much in love with the Word of God that he cannot stomach or endure anyone or anywhere the Word of God is being dishonoured. In an age where the demarcation between saints and sinners are being erased, he does not *"stand in the way of sinners"*. He separates himself from the worldly and sinful practices of sinners without being ashamed of standing for the truth and the right. His counsellors and guides in matters of conduct are not the ungodly, but godly people who take the Word of God and go to heaven very seriously.
    Positively, his delight is in the law of the LORD, and he meditates on it day and night.

    *Question*

    Based on the above, are you qualified for daily divine blessings?

    *2. The Clear Description of the Blessed*

    a. The description of a blessed man shows that it is pleasant and admirable to be a blessed man. Like a good tree bearing good fruits that are edible and profitable to man, the blessed man is not only blessed by God, he is also a blessing to others. As a good tree gives shade to people when the sun bites hard, the blessed person gives succour and shade to people when they are being bitten by the challenges of life. No wonder, the blessed person is compared to *“a tree planted by the rivers of water”*. The blessings of God are so real that he is never dried up. He remains fresh materially, spiritually and in all areas. Beyond that, he is *"planted by the rivers of water"* where the Word of God flows in his unceasing freshness.
    b. Such a person never runs out of grace, godliness and goodness. He *“bringeth forth his fruit in his season.”* His life produces visible evidence of God’s work. His leaves do not wither, indicating spiritual vitality even in difficult seasons. Furthermore, *“whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.”* He is never a failure in family, business and spiritual ministry because he allows God to always guide his actions, endeavours and always commit them into God’s hands. It does not mean freedom from trials, but it means that a life rooted in God ultimately bears the fruit and accomplishes the purposes God intends.
    A reservoir does not merely receive water; it stores it for continue usefulness. Likewise, the blessed believer receives divine grace and becomes a channel through which God’s goodness reaches others.

    *Question*

    Is my spiritual life deeply rooted enough in God’s Word to remain fruitful in every season? Am I a blessing to others?

    *3. Cursed Destination of the Barbaric*

    The wicked are described as *“chaff which the wind driveth away.”* Agricultural chaff consists of the dry, scaly husks and small pieces of straw separated from cereal grains during threshing. It is lightweight, dry, scaly and easily blown away by the wind. It has no economic value. It lacks appreciable weight. It is just good for fire else it will be a nuisance. The ungodly are compared to chaff because they don't add any value to achieving the purpose of God on earth. They are only good for hell fire. Their life is not weighty in character and conduct, but lives on and lives for vanities of life. Those who reject God and persist in ungodliness may appear successful for a season, but their destination is destruction.
    b. *"The ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous"*. Their apparent strength and conscience cannot withstand divine examination. In fact, the judgment would be so fierce that *"the earth and the heaven fled away"* from the presence of God (Revelation 20:11). *“The LORD knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish.”*

    *Question*

    Am I a chaff before God or wheat? Am I walking on the way of the righteous, or am I allowing the world to shape the direction of my life?

    *Prayer Points*

    1.Lord, deliver me from every ungodly association and influence that can hinder Your blessings in my life .
    2.Father, give me an increasing delight in Your Word and grace to meditate on it continually .
    3.Lord, make my life fruitful and a blessing to others in every season
    4.Father, preserve Your children from the way of the wicked and make our lives a reservoir and channel of divine blessings to others .

    *HYMN:* Is Your Life A Channel Of Blessings?

    *PATH TO BLESSING* 🫵🏽🏽‍🏽‍🏽🏽‍🏽🏽

    ```TEXT:PSALM 1:1-6```
    ```KEY VERSE:``` _*"Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful" (PSALM 1:1).*_

    *In 1955, a young man named Jim Elliott left behind the comforts of America to bring the gospel to the unreached Huaorani people of Ecuador. Many thought he was foolish for risking his life among a violent tribe, but Elliot believed in a greater purpose. Before his death at the hands of the very people he sought to reach, he wrote, "He is no fool who gives what he cannot keep to gain what he cannot lose." Jim Elliott chose the path of righteousness, dedicating his life to walking in God's ways. Though his earthly journey was cut short, his path to eternal impact and blessing in eternity remains.*

    *Our text contrasts two paths: the way of the righteous, leading to blessing and life, and the way of the wicked, leading to damnation and destruction. The Psalmist describes the difference between the righteous and the wicked. The righteous delights in God's law, avoiding ungodly influences and meditating on the Scripture day and night. He is like a tree planted by streams of water, which flourishes in every season. In contrast, the wicked are like chaff blown away by the wind; they are temporary and without a lasting purpose. The psalm ends with a clear truth: "For the LORD knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish."*

    *Every day, we are faced with choices that determine which path we walk and what we will reap at the end. The world constantly offers distractions such as ungodly advice, sinful pleasures, and shortcuts to success. But true blessing comes from delighting in God's word, staying rooted in His truth, and avoiding the influences that pull us away from Him.*

    *Like Jim Elliot, those who walk in obedience may face hardship, but they will ultimately flourish in God's purpose. Their lives bear fruit, even after them; their faith remains firm, and they find true peace in Christ. In contrast, those who reject God's ways may seem successful for a time, but in the end, their path leads to emptiness and destruction. As believers, we must be careful enough to walk circumspectly in the truth revealed in God's word. The path to blessing requires commitment to God's word and a refusal to compromise with the world. We should, therefore, stay planted in Christ, who will ultimately make our lives flourish in time and eternity.*

    *A supplicant is someone who makes petition before God on behalf of others. Epaphras is one of the supplicants in the New Testament. Such a Christian is concerned about others who need God's intervention.*

    *As a child of God, we can follow the "GOM" pattern in our prayer - (God, Others, Me). Prayer is the best gift we can give to fellow believers. The love of Christ constrains us to pray for those who are sick, suffering, afflicted, or backslidden. We pray also for church leaders and the rulers in our nation.*

    *Like Epaphras, believers must pray for the new converts, revival, programmes, and projects in the church. We are to pray for our institutions, teachers, classmates, neighbours, parents, friends, and even foes.*

    *Through intercession, we can achieve much for God. Empathy will enable us to pray effectively for others. Let us bother about others. You are enjoined to "Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ" (Galatians 6:2). Bring solution to other believers' problems through your supplication. God's love constrains us to pray for others, like Epaphras did.*

    ```Key Verse:``` _*"Nevertheless the LORD thy God would not hearken unto Balaam; but the LORD thy God turned the curse into a blessing unto thee, because the LORD thy God loved thee" (Deuteronomy 23:5).*_
    God's love for His children is expressed in many ways. It is the love of God for us that makes Him to give His only begotten Son to save us from our sins, protect us from all evil, provide for our daily needs, heal us when we are sick, and to warn us not to be friends with evil people.
    God showed His love to the children of Israel by turning the curse of their enemies into a blessing, and by warning them not to make friends with those who planned to curse or harm them.
    God knew that these enemies will not change from their selfish and bitter acts toward the children of Israel. They will always want to hurt them. That is why He commanded them not to relate with these enemies.
    *God does not permit us to make friends with ungodly, immoral and wicked people. They will draw us back to sin. We are to pray for them and tell them of the love of Jesus so that they can repent, believe, and accept Jesus as their personal Lord and Saviour.*
    2. Morning Prayer for today.
    MP.i. Morning Prayer
    I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, [and] giving of thanks, be made for all men; ⏤ 1 Timothy 2:1
    Prayer is the key that unlocks all the storehouses of God’s infinite grace and power. ⏤ R.A. Torrey
    O God, You have taught us to offer supplications, prayers, and intercessions for all people. We humbly ask You to hear our prayers, which we offer to Your divine Majesty in the name of Jesus Christ.
    Remember in Your mercy all people whom You have made to dwell on the earth. Deliver them from the many evils and miseries that oppress them. Deliver them especially from idolatry, ignorance, superstition, error, unbelief, and the chains of sin. Send Your gospel to all nations until everyone has heard its joyful message. Bless all missionaries and organizations dedicated to spreading the gospel. Hasten the coming of Your kingdom among the nations, and bring all Your lost sheep into the fold of the Good Shepherd.
    Remember also, all Your people in Christian lands. You have purchased Your church with Your own blood. We ask You to bless all who call upon Your name in prayer. Fill Your church with more of Your life and Spirit. Equip Your ministers with all spiritual gifts and graces.
    Remember all who are in any trouble. Strengthen the weak and make them strong in spirit. Lift up those who have fallen. Support those who are discouraged and about to give up. Let a special blessing be upon Your children. They cannot find their way home on their own; You must show them the way. Grant that Your people may always keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace, to the glory of Your holy name. Amen.
In contrast, those who reject God's ways may seem successful for a time, but in the end, their path leads to emptiness and destruction. As believers, we must be careful enough to walk circumspectly in the truth revealed in God's word. The path to blessing requires commitment to God's word and a refusal to compromise with the world. We should, therefore, stay planted in Christ, who will ultimately make our lives flourish in time and eternity.* ✍🏽```THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:``` _*Your stand determines your walk. God showed His love to the children of Israel by turning the curse of their enemies into a blessing, and by warning them not to make friends with those who planned to curse or harm them. That is why He commanded them not to relate with these enemies. *God does not permit us to make friends with ungodly, immoral and wicked people. They will draw us back to sin. Morning Prayer for today. MP.i. Morning Prayer I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, [and] giving of thanks, be made for all men; ⏤ 1 Timothy 2:1 Prayer is the key that unlocks all the storehouses of God’s infinite grace and power. ⏤ R.A. Torrey O God, You have taught us to offer supplications, prayers, and intercessions for all people. We humbly ask You to hear our prayers, which we offer to Your divine Majesty in the name of Jesus Christ. Remember in Your mercy all people whom You have made to dwell on the earth. Deliver them from the many evils and miseries that oppress them. Deliver them especially from idolatry, ignorance, superstition, error, unbelief, and the chains of sin. Send Your gospel to all nations until everyone has heard its joyful message. Bless all missionaries and organizations dedicated to spreading the gospel. Hasten the coming of Your kingdom among the nations, and bring all Your lost sheep into the fold of the Good Shepherd. Remember also, all Your people in Christian lands. You have purchased Your church with Your own blood. We ask You to bless all who call upon Your name in prayer. Fill Your church with more of Your life and Spirit. Equip Your ministers with all spiritual gifts and graces. Remember all who are in any trouble. Strengthen the weak and make them strong in spirit. Lift up those who have fallen. Support those who are discouraged and about to give up. Let a special blessing be upon Your children. They cannot find their way home on their own; You must show them the way. Grant that Your people may always keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace, to the glory of Your holy name.   • *TODAY'S PROPHETIC DECLARATION - SATURDAY, 22ND AUGUST, 2026.*
    *I KNOW THAT MY REDEEMER LIVES!*
    Scripture:
    “For I know that my redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth.” — Job 19:25 (KJV).
    *Reflection – Faith That Stands in Difficult Times*
    Job spoke these powerful words in the midst of tremendous suffering. His circumstances gave him many reasons to despair, yet he declared with confidence: “I know that my redeemer liveth.”
    Job's confidence was not based on what he could see. His situation was painful and uncertain, but his faith rested in the character of his Redeemer.
    There will be seasons when circumstances challenge our faith. We may not understand why certain things are happening, but we can still hold firmly to the truth that God lives, God cares, and God remains our Redeemer.
    Today, let your confidence be greater than your circumstances. You may not know how everything will work out, but you can know Who holds your future.
    Your situation is not the final chapter. Your Redeemer lives!
    *Prophetic Declaration:*
    Today, I boldly declare: I know that my Redeemer lives! My hope is not dead, my faith is not dead, and my future is not hopeless because the Lord who redeemed me is alive.
    I declare that no present difficulty shall make me forget the faithfulness of God. Though I may walk through challenging seasons, I will continue to trust the Lord because He remains my Redeemer.
    Today, I receive fresh confidence in God's power to restore, renew, and redeem. Every area of my life that needs divine intervention is placed into the hands of my living Redeemer.
    I declare redemption over my family, ministry, work, business, studies, relationships, and destiny. May God redeem wasted opportunities, restore broken relationships according to His will, renew lost strength, and bring beauty out of difficult seasons.
    I proclaim that my past will not define my future. Mistakes, disappointments, failures, delays, and difficult experiences shall not have the final word over my life. God is able to redeem my story and use it for His glory.
    I declare that every season of mourning shall give way to renewed joy according to God's perfect timing. Every place where I have experienced disappointment shall become an opportunity to testify of God's faithfulness.
    Today, I refuse to surrender to hopelessness. I refuse to believe that my best days are behind me. I choose to believe that God is still working, even when His work is not immediately visible.
    I declare that my faith shall become stronger through every trial. Like Job, I shall hold firmly to God even when I do not understand my circumstances.
    I proclaim that the Lord shall stand for me. He shall defend me, sustain me, guide me, and establish me according to His perfect purpose.
    Today, I declare that my life shall become a testimony of God's redeeming power. What seemed like the end shall become a new beginning, and what appeared hopeless shall reveal God's faithfulness.
    My Redeemer lives!
    My hope lives!
    My faith lives!
    My future is in God's hands!
    My story is not over!
    Through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen!
    *Action Steps for today:*
    Begin with worship: Thank God because your Redeemer lives, regardless of your present circumstances.
    Read Job 19:23–27: Meditate on Job's remarkable declaration of faith in the midst of suffering.
    Declare: “I know that my Redeemer lives. Therefore, I will not give up hope.”
    Surrender your past: Give your failures, disappointments, regrets, and painful experiences to God and trust Him to redeem your story.
    Strengthen someone's faith: Encourage someone who is passing through a difficult season with the message: “Your Redeemer lives.”
    Refuse hopelessness: Whenever negative thoughts arise today, consciously remind yourself of God's faithfulness.
    End the day with thanksgiving: Thank God for His redemption, preservation, mercy, and the hope you have in Him.
    *Prayer:*
    Heavenly Father,
    I thank You because You are my living Redeemer. Like Job, I declare today that I know that my Redeemer lives!
    Even when I do not understand my circumstances, help me to trust You. When I am weak, strengthen me. When I am discouraged, renew my hope. When I cannot see the way forward, remind me that You are already there.
    Lord, redeem every area of my life that needs Your intervention. Redeem my time, opportunities, efforts, relationships, work, ministry, studies, and every good purpose You have placed within me.
    Bring restoration where there has been loss and renewal where there has been weakness. Turn painful experiences into testimonies and use my story for Your glory.
    Protect my family and establish everything concerning us according to Your perfect will.
    Help me never to allow my circumstances to become greater than my faith in You. Give me the grace to stand firm like Job and continue trusting You until my change comes.
    I know that my Redeemer lives, and because He lives, I have hope for tomorrow.
    In Jesus' mighty name. Amen.
    *Blessing for today:*
    May the living Redeemer arise in every situation concerning you. May He restore your hope, renew your strength, redeem your time, and turn difficult seasons into testimonies.
    May God preserve your family, strengthen your ministry, bless the work of your hands, establish your plans according to His will, and guide you into the future He has prepared for you.
    May you have the grace to stand firm even when circumstances are difficult. May your faith remain unshaken and your hope remain alive.
    What God has permitted, He can redeem. What He has promised, He is able to fulfill. What concerns you is safely in His hands.
    Your Redeemer lives!
    Your hope lives!
    Your faith shall stand!
    Your story is not over!
    “FOR I KNOW THAT MY REDEEMER LIVETH.” — JOB 19:25
    Good morning beloved and do have a blessed, hopeful, faith-filled, and testimony-producing day
    Shalom!
  • Praise is not merely a response after the victory. It can be the very thing that opens the way for God’s intervention.
    When Judah faced an enemy they could not defeat, they did not rely on their own strength. They turned to the Lord, and as they began to sing and praise, God moved on their behalf.
    “Now when they began to sing and to praise, the LORD set ambushes against the people… who had come against Judah.” (2 Chronicles 20:22)
    Whatever battle you are facing, do not wait until it is over to praise God. Praise Him in the midst of it, trusting that the battle belongs to the Lord.
  • THE LORDSHIP OF THE MAN JESUS CHRIST IS BASIC
    One of things the Devil fears the most is our understanding of the man Jesus Christ; who He is to the believer. The Bible says God has made this man—Jesus Christ—both Lord and Christ. Did you notice the order it arranges these titles? Lord and then Christ (that is, Messiah or Saviour)
    Many want Jesus to be their Saviour but they do not want Him as their Lord. That is why they jump from prophets to prophets, prayer meetings to prayer meetings, all in search of solutions. They want Jesus to save them but He must never dictate to them. But He must your Lord before He can save you. If you will not trust Him enough to accept that He knows the way, how can He rescue you from drowning? Yet this same people will not argue with their doctor!
    The Lordship of Christ is where the power in Christianity is. You must surrender your will to that of Christ to become powerful. God’s power is manifestly strong only when you become weak in the eyes of man.
    In the eyes of the world, you will look weak and powerless but this is the exact position that qualifies you for God’s divine visitation and intervention. Jesus said He has not come to call the righteous to repentance. He hasn’t come to save those who believes they are strong enough to save themselves either.
    Who will teach this generation the dynamics of power? To be strong, you have to be ready to look weak, to be rich you have to be willing to become poor. To be known, you have to be ready to become unknown, while following Christ. This is God’s way. It is called the way of the Cross. Until you learn it, you remain in the wilderness.
  • DOMINION DAILY DEVOTION ~ DAY 233
    DATE: 21ST AUGUST 2026
    TOPIC: RELY ON THE LORD
    ANCHOR SCRIPTURE2 Chronicles 13:18 (NKJV)
    “Thus the children of Israel were subdued at that time; and the children of Judah prevailed, because they relied on the LORD God of their fathers.”
    Devotional message:
    Scripture is filled with testimonies of men and women who placed their confidence entirely in God and experienced victory. Their strength was not in their human ability, resources, experience, or influence; their confidence was in the Lord.
    Our anchor Scripture gives us a powerful explanation for Judah's victory: “They prevailed because they relied on the LORD.” Their victory was connected to their dependence upon God.
    Consider Jehoshaphat. When three nations came against Judah and the situation appeared impossible, he did not place his confidence in military strength. He sought the Lord. As Judah worshipped, God intervened and caused their enemies to fight against one another. What Judah could not accomplish through human strength, God accomplished through His divine intervention.
    We also see this principle in the battle against Amalek. Moses stood on the mountain with the rod of God, while Joshua fought below. As Moses lifted his hands, Israel prevailed; when his hands became heavy and came down, Amalek prevailed. Aaron and Hur therefore supported his hands until victory was secured.
    There are battles where our greatest strength is not what we can do, but our posture of dependence upon God.
    David lived by this principle. Before many battles, he inquired of the Lord. Even when he encountered Goliath, his confidence was not in his previous victories, weapons, or military experience.
    David understood that the size of the enemy could never be greater than the power of the God he trusted.
    Child of God, where is your confidence today?Perhaps you are facing an examination, a business challenge, difficulties in your marriage, a ministry assignment, financial pressure, opposition, or a situation that appears beyond your ability.
    Do not make yourself your ultimate source.Your education is valuable, but it is not your ultimate source.Your experience is valuable, but it is not your ultimate source.Your connections are valuable, but they are not your ultimate source.Your resources are valuable, but they are not your ultimate source.
    The Lord is your source.This does not mean that we abandon preparation, wisdom, diligence, planning, or responsible action. Rather, it means that we do all these things while depending upon God instead of depending upon ourselves.
    Our confidence is ultimately in Christ, who has already overcome the world.Therefore, when you rely upon the Lord, you do not enter your battles as someone fighting for victory—you enter knowing that Christ has already overcome.
    Make the Lord your King. Make Him your confidence. Seek Him before you move. Depend upon Him while you work. Give Him the glory when victory comes.
    And when you rely upon Him, you can face tomorrow with confidence, knowing that the God who was faithful to your fathers is still faithful today.
    PRAYER
    Heavenly Father,I choose today to rely upon You. Be my King, my Lord, and my source. May every victory I experience bring glory to Your name.In Jesus' name, Amen.
  • *TODAY'S PROPHETIC DECLARATION - FRIDAY, 21ST AUGUST, 2026.*
    *PEACE, BE STILL!*
    Scripture:
    “And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.” — Mark 4:39 (KJV).
    *Reflection – Jesus Is Lord Over Every Storm*
    The disciples were in a boat when a great storm arose. Although Jesus was with them, they became afraid and wondered if they would survive. Jesus arose, rebuked the wind, and commanded the sea: “Peace, be still.”
    The storm obeyed Him.
    This reminds us that the presence of a storm does not mean the absence of God. Sometimes we may find ourselves in situations that seem beyond our control, but Jesus remains with us in the boat.
    There may be storms in our family, ministry, work, business, studies, finances, relationships, or future. Yet the same Christ who calmed the sea is still Lord over every circumstance.
    The greatest miracle is not only that Jesus can change the storm around us; He can also give us peace within us while we wait for the storm to pass.
    Today, refuse to allow fear to have the final word. Speak faith over your situation and trust the One who has authority over every storm.
    *Prophetic Declaration:*
    Today, I declare that Jesus Christ is Lord over every storm in my life. No situation is greater than His authority, and no problem is beyond His ability to handle.
    I declare “Peace, be still!” over every storm troubling my heart, family, ministry, work, business, studies, relationships, and destiny.
    Every storm of fear, anxiety, confusion, disappointment, delay, opposition, and uncertainty shall come under the authority of Jesus Christ.
    I declare that every troubling wind blowing against my peace shall cease according to God's perfect will. Every raging situation shall receive divine intervention, and every troubled circumstance shall give way to God's peace.
    Today, I receive supernatural peace in my heart. I will not be controlled by fear because Jesus is with me. I will not be overwhelmed by what I see because I know that God is greater than my circumstances.
    I declare that the Lord shall calm every situation that is beyond my human ability to control. Where I cannot change circumstances, He shall give me grace to trust Him and wisdom to respond correctly.
    I proclaim peace over my family and household. May every conflict, misunderstanding, tension, and anxiety give way to reconciliation, understanding, love, and divine peace.
    I proclaim peace over my ministry, work, business, and studies. May confusion become clarity, difficulty become opportunity, and pressure become a testimony of God's faithfulness.
    I declare that I shall not abandon my faith because of temporary storms. I will continue to pray, believe, work, and trust God until the calm comes.
    Today, I receive courage to remain in the boat with Jesus. I will not jump into dangerous waters because of fear. I will remain steadfast and trust the One who is with me.
    I declare that after every storm, there shall be a testimony. What was designed to frighten me shall become an opportunity for me to experience God's power more deeply.
    Jesus is in my boat.
    Jesus is greater than my storm.
    Jesus has authority over my circumstances.
    Jesus is my peace.
    Therefore, I will not fear.
    Through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen!
    *Action Steps for today:*
    Begin with worship: Thank Jesus because He is Lord over every situation you may face today.
    Read Mark 4:35–41: Meditate on how Jesus responded to the storm and the fear of His disciples.
    Declare: “Jesus is with me in the boat. Therefore, I will not fear. Peace, be still!”
    Identify your storm: Write down one situation that is troubling you and surrender it completely to Jesus in prayer.
    Choose faith over fear: Whenever anxiety rises today, deliberately replace fearful thoughts with God's promises.
    Speak peace: Be careful not to add fuel to conflict through angry or negative words. Let your words promote peace.
    End the day with thanksgiving: Thank God for His presence with you, whether the storm has already ceased or you are still waiting for the calm.
    *Prayer:*
    Lord Jesus,
    Thank You because You are with me in every storm of life. Thank You because no situation is greater than Your authority.
    Today, I bring every storm in my life before You. Speak Your word of peace over my heart, my family, ministry, work, business, studies, relationships, and future.
    Where there is confusion, speak peace.
    Where there is fear, speak peace.
    Where there is conflict, speak peace.
    Where there is uncertainty, speak peace.
    Where there is discouragement, speak peace.
    Lord, calm every storm that is according to Your will to be calmed, and give me strength to remain faithful through every storm You permit me to face.
    Deliver me from anxiety and fear. Teach me to trust You even when I cannot understand what is happening around me.
    Help me remember that Your silence does not mean Your absence. You are with me, and You remain Lord over the storm.
    Give me faith like the disciples needed and help me grow into deeper confidence in Your power.
    Jesus, speak into every storm of my life today: “Peace, be still!”
    Let Your peace fill my heart and let my life become a testimony of Your faithfulness.
    In Jesus' mighty name. Amen.
    *Blessing for today:*
    May the Lord Jesus arise on your behalf and speak peace into every storm surrounding your life.
    May every troubling situation receive divine intervention. May peace reign in your heart, your family, your ministry, your work, your business, your studies, and your relationships.
    May God give you grace to remain calm when circumstances are difficult, wisdom to know what to do, and faith to trust Him when you cannot see the way forward.
    May every storm become a testimony, every battle produce greater faith, and every difficult season reveal the mighty power of God.
    Jesus is greater than your storm.
    His peace shall guard your heart.
    His authority shall prevail.
    Your testimony shall emerge.
    “PEACE, BE STILL.” — MARK 4:39
    May the peace of Christ rule in your heart and household today.
    Good morning beloved and do have a blessed, peaceful, and victorious day
  • TODAY'S KINGDOM INSIGHTS:
    MONITORING OUR CHILDREN IN THIS PERIOD OF AI
    Main Text:
    Proverbs 22:6; Proverbs 4:23; 1 Corinthians 15:33; Ephesians 5:15–16
    Supporting Scriptures: Deuteronomy 6:6–7; Psalm 101:3; Philippians 4:8;
    Church, we are raising children in a generation where the greatest influence in a child's life may no longer be the person sitting beside them—it may be the device in their hand!
    A child can sit quietly in the living room while, through a smartphone, they are exposed to conversations, images, ideas, strangers, misinformation, pornography, violence, manipulation, and values that may be completely contrary to what their parents are teaching them.
    And now we have Artificial Intelligence—AI.
    AI can answer questions, write stories, create pictures, tutor students, translate languages, generate videos and help children learn. It can be an incredible tool.
    But every powerful tool must be accompanied by powerful wisdom.
    The question is not simply:
    «"Does my child use AI?"»
    The deeper question is:
    «"Who is shaping my child's mind, values, identity and worldview while they use AI?"»
    We cannot afford to be parents who know where our children sleep but do not know what is shaping their minds.
    1. OUR CHILDREN ARE GOD'S RESPONSIBILITY ENTRUSTED TO US
    Proverbs 22:
    «"Train up a child in the way he should go..."»
    Notice that Scripture does not say, "Buy the child a phone and let the internet train them."
    It says, "Train up a child."
    Parenting is not merely providing food, clothing, education and accommodation.
    Parenting is spiritual stewardship.
    God has entrusted children to parents and guardians for a season.
    That means we must ask:
    - What are they watching?
    - What are they listening to?
    - Who are they talking to?
    - What questions are they asking AI?
    - What answers are they receiving?
    - What ideas are they beginning to believe?
    - What kind of people are influencing them online?
    Short Story
    Imagine a parent who carefully locks the physical doors of the house every night.
    The windows are secured. The gate is locked. The children are safe inside.
    But the same parent gives a child an unrestricted smartphone and never checks what is entering through that digital door.
    The physical door is locked, but the digital door is wide open.
    Church, monitoring our children is not necessarily an expression of distrust.
    It is an expression of responsibility.
    2. MONITORING IS NOT THE SAME AS SPYING
    Some parents say:
    "I trust my child."
    That is good.
    But trust must grow alongside maturity.
    A five-year-old cannot be given the same level of independence as a seventeen-year-old.
    The Bible says:
    Proverbs 4:23
    «"Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life."»
    If we are commanded to guard our hearts, we should also teach our children how to guard theirs.
    Monitoring should include:
    - knowing which apps they use;
    - understanding the AI tools they access;
    - discussing what they ask AI;
    - setting age-appropriate boundaries;
    - checking privacy settings;
    - teaching them not to share personal information;
    - teaching them that AI can be wrong;
    - teaching them to report disturbing content;
    - creating an environment where they can tell you what they encounter without fear.
    The goal is not merely control. The goal is protection, discipleship and preparation.
    3. AI CAN BE A TOOL, BUT IT MUST NEVER BECOME A PARENT
    This is one of the deepest dangers of this generation.
    A child may begin asking AI questions they are afraid to ask their parents.
    "Why am I different?"
    "Why don't people like me?"
    "What should I do about this relationship?"
    "Am I ugly?"
    "What should I believe?"
    "Why does God allow suffering?"
    "Should I tell my parents this?"
    AI may produce an answer instantly.
    But instant answers are not the same thing as godly wisdom.
    A machine can generate information.
    A parent provides relationship.
    AI can imitate conversation.
    It cannot replace covenantal love, godly correction, spiritual discernment and the presence of a parent.
    Our children need to know:
    «"Before you ask the internet everything, you can come and talk to me."»
    If our children are afraid to talk to us, they will find somebody—or something—to talk to.
    4. TEACH YOUR CHILDREN THAT AI IS NOT GOD
    This generation needs digital discernment.
    AI can sound confident and still be wrong.
    It can generate convincing information without possessing biblical wisdom.
    Therefore, our children must learn:
    AI is a tool, not an authority.
    The Bible says:
    1 Thessalonians 5:21
    «"Prove all things; hold fast that which is good."»
    And:
    Philippians 4:8
    «"Whatsoever things are true... honest... just... pure... lovely... of good report... think on these things."»
    Teach your children to ask:
    Is it true?
    Is it biblical?
    Is it wise?
    Is it appropriate?
    What fruit will this produce in my life?
    This is the difference between merely raising technology users and raising discerning Christians.
    5. DO NOT WAIT UNTIL THERE IS A CRISIS
    Many parents only begin monitoring when something has already gone wrong.
    When grades collapse.
    When behavior changes.
    When secrecy increases.
    When the child becomes addicted to a device.
    When inappropriate content is discovered.
    When a relationship becomes dangerous.
    When the child begins withdrawing from family.
    Prevention is better than emergency intervention.
    Deuteronomy 6:6–7 teaches parents to speak God's Word to their children continually—in everyday life.
    That means discipleship should happen before the crisis.
    Talk about technology at the dinner table.
    Talk about online friendships.
    Talk about pornography.
    Talk about manipulation.
    Talk about AI.
    Talk about identity.
    Talk about truth.
    Talk about faith.
    Talk about temptation.
    If we make every difficult subject taboo, the internet will become their teacher.
    6. MONITOR THEIR SCREEN, BUT ALSO MONITOR THEIR HEART
    This is where many parents miss the deeper issue.
    You can monitor screen time and still miss what is happening inside the child.
    A child may spend only one hour online but be deeply influenced by what they consumed.
    Therefore, don't only ask:
    "How long were you online?"
    Also ask:
    "What did you learn today?"
    "What did you see that confused you?"
    "Did anything online make you afraid?"
    "Did anyone say something to you that made you uncomfortable?"
    "What do you think about what you saw?"
    "What would Jesus say about that?"
    These questions open the heart.
    7. PARENTS MUST BECOME DIGITALLY LITERATE
    Parents, we cannot say:
    "I don't understand technology."
    Our children are growing up in a technological environment.
    We don't need to know everything.
    But we must know enough to guide them.
    Learn the basics of:
    - AI chatbots;
    - social media platforms;
    - privacy settings;
    - parental controls;
    - deepfakes and manipulated media;
    - online scams;
    - inappropriate content;
    - AI-generated images and videos;
    - cyberbullying;
    - digital footprints.
    Don't surrender the digital world simply because it is unfamiliar.
    If our children are learning the technology, parents must learn enough to disciple them within it.
    8. THE GREATEST FILTER IS NOT A PARENTAL CONTROL APP—IT IS
    CHARACTER.
    Technology can be restricted.
    But eventually, children grow up.
    They will have their own devices.
    They will leave home.
    They will make their own decisions.
    So our ultimate goal cannot be:
    "My child behaves well because I am watching."
    Our goal must be:
    "My child chooses what is right even when nobody is watching."
    That is discipleship.
    Psalm 101:3 says:
    «"I will set no wicked thing before mine eyes..."»
    Teach your children that holiness is not merely about avoiding punishment.
    Holiness is choosing what honors God.
    DEEP INSIGHT:
    THE BATTLE IS FOR THE MIND
    Church, understand this:
    The battle of this generation is not merely over devices. It is over attention.
    Whoever controls a person's attention repeatedly has tremendous influence over that person's thinking.
    Repeated thoughts shape beliefs.
    Beliefs influence choices.
    Choices establish habits.
    Habits shape character.
    And character influences destiny.
    Therefore, when we monitor what our children consume, we are not being unnecessarily strict.
    We are participating in the protection of their minds.
    Romans 12:2 says:
    «"Be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind."»
    AI is not automatically evil.
    Technology is not automatically evil.
    But anything powerful without discernment can become destructive.
    The Christian response is not fear.
    The Christian response is wisdom.
    A POWERFUL ILLUSTRATION
    Imagine giving a child a car.
    The car is not evil.
    It can take them to school.
    It can take them to church.
    It can take them to the hospital.
    It can help them serve others.
    But would a responsible parent hand a young child the keys and say:
    "Go anywhere you want. I trust you."
    No.
    Why?
    Because power requires maturity.
    The same principle applies to technology.
    Access should increase as maturity increases.
    Freedom should be accompanied by responsibility.
    REFLECTION
    Parents, guardians, and the Church, let us examine ourselves.
    Ask yourself:
    1. Do I know what my child does online?
    2. Do I know which AI tools my child uses?
    3. Have I taught my child how to distinguish truth from misinformation?
    4. Can my child talk to me about uncomfortable online experiences?
    5. Have I created reasonable digital boundaries in my home?
    6. Am I monitoring my child's heart, not just their device?
    7. Am I modelling responsible technology use myself?
    8. Am I teaching my child God's Word strongly enough that they can stand when I am not there?
    And perhaps the most important question:
    «If the world is discipling my child every day through technology, what am I doing every day to disciple my child through God's Word?»
    THE MESSAGE TO PARENTS
    Don't be afraid of AI.
    Understand it.
    Don't worship technology.
    Use it wisely.
    Don't abandon your children to the internet.
    Walk with them.
    Don't merely restrict them.
    Teach them.
    Don't only monitor their screens.
    Disciple their hearts.
    Don't wait for tomorrow.
    Start today.
    Because the goal is not to raise children who are technologically backward.
    The goal is to raise children who are technologically capable, spiritually grounded, morally discerning and deeply rooted in Christ.
    CLOSING CHARGE
    Proverbs 22:6 reminds us:
    «"Train up a child in the way he should go..."»
    Parents, the world is already training our children.
    Social media is training them.
    Entertainment is training them.
    Algorithms are training them.
    Friends are training them.
    And AI can influence them.
    But God has given parents the assignment of training them too.
    So let us rise to the responsibility.
    Let us monitor with wisdom.
    Let us communicate with love.
    Let us establish boundaries.
    Let us learn technology.
    Let us teach discernment.
    Let us pray.
    And above everything else—
    let us point our children to Jesus Christ.
    Because technology may shape their environment, but Christ must shape their identity.
    PRAYER POINTS
    1. Prayer for Wisdom
    Father, give us wisdom to raise our children in this rapidly changing technological generation. Help us know when to permit, when to restrict, when to correct and when to guide, in Jesus' name. Amen.
    2. Prayer for Protection
    Lord, protect our children from harmful content, dangerous relationships, manipulation, exploitation, pornography, cyberbullying and every destructive influence that may come through technology. Amen.
    3. Prayer for Discernment
    Father, give our children the spirit of discernment. Let them recognize deception and distinguish truth from error. Let them not believe everything they see, hear or receive from AI and the internet. Amen.
    4. Prayer for Strong Christian Identity
    Lord Jesus, establish our children in You. Let their identity not be determined by social media, artificial intelligence, peer pressure or worldly standards. Let them know that they are fearfully and wonderfully made by You. Amen.
    5. Prayer for Parents
    Father, strengthen parents and guardians. Give us patience, understanding, courage and wisdom. Help us not to be careless with the souls You have entrusted to us. Amen.
    6. Prayer for Communication
    Lord, make our homes places where children can speak openly without fear. Remove unhealthy secrecy and build trust between parents and children. Amen.
    7. Prayer for Digital Wisdom
    Father, teach our children to use technology for learning, creativity, service and the advancement of Your Kingdom rather than for destruction. Amen.
    8. Prayer Against Negative Influence
    Every influence seeking to pull our children away from Christ, lose your hold, in the name of Jesus. Every voice contrary to God's purpose for their lives, be silenced, in Jesus' name. Amen.
    9. Prayer for the Church
    Lord, help the Church understand this generation and respond with wisdom. Raise Christian parents, teachers, mentors and leaders who will guide young people according to Your Word. Amen.
    10. Prayer of Dedication
    Father, we dedicate our children afresh to You. May they grow in wisdom, stature, favor and the knowledge of Jesus Christ. May technology serve them rather than enslave them. May their minds be guarded, their hearts be pure, their purpose be preserved and their lives bring glory to Your name. In Jesus' mighty name, Amen.
    FINAL DECLARATION
    I declare over every child:
    You will not be a victim of this generation.
    You will not be controlled by technology.
    You will not be deceived by falsehood.
    You will not lose your identity.
    You will not be destroyed by the influences of this age.
    Your mind belongs to Christ.
    Your purpose belongs to God.
    Your future is in His hands.
    You will grow in wisdom.
    You will walk in truth.
    You will discern good from evil.
    You will use technology wisely.
    And in this generation of AI, you will still know, love and serve Jesus Christ!
    In Jesus' mighty name. Amen!
That is good. But trust must grow alongside maturity. A five-year-old cannot be given the same level of independence as a seventeen-year-old. The Bible says: Proverbs 4:23 «"Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life."» If we are commanded to guard our hearts, we should also teach our children how to guard theirs. Monitoring should include: - knowing which apps they use; - understanding the AI tools they access; - discussing what they ask AI; - setting age-appropriate boundaries; - checking privacy settings; - teaching them not to share personal information; - teaching them that AI can be wrong; - teaching them to report disturbing content; - creating an environment where they can tell you what they encounter without fear. The goal is not merely control. The goal is protection, discipleship and preparation. 3. AI CAN BE A TOOL, BUT IT MUST NEVER BECOME A PARENT This is one of the deepest dangers of this generation. A child may begin asking AI questions they are afraid to ask their parents. "Why am I different?" "Why don't people like me?" "What should I do about this relationship?" "Am I ugly?" "What should I believe?" "Why does God allow suffering?" "Should I tell my parents this?" AI may produce an answer instantly. But instant answers are not the same thing as godly wisdom. A machine can generate information. A parent provides relationship. AI can imitate conversation. It cannot replace covenantal love, godly correction, spiritual discernment and the presence of a parent. Our children need to know: «"Before you ask the internet everything, you can come and talk to me."» If our children are afraid to talk to us, they will find somebody—or something—to talk to. 4. TEACH YOUR CHILDREN THAT AI IS NOT GOD This generation needs digital discernment. AI can sound confident and still be wrong. It can generate convincing information without possessing biblical wisdom. Therefore, our children must learn: AI is a tool, not an authority. The Bible says: 1 Thessalonians 5:21 «"Prove all things; hold fast that which is good."» And: Philippians 4:8 «"Whatsoever things are true... honest... just... pure... lovely... of good report... think on these things."» Teach your children to ask: Is it true? Is it biblical? Is it wise? Is it appropriate? What fruit will this produce in my life? This is the difference between merely raising technology users and raising discerning Christians. 5. DO NOT WAIT UNTIL THERE IS A CRISIS Many parents only begin monitoring when something has already gone wrong. When grades collapse. When behavior changes. When secrecy increases. When the child becomes addicted to a device. When inappropriate content is discovered. When a relationship becomes dangerous. When the child begins withdrawing from family. Prevention is better than emergency intervention. Deuteronomy 6:6–7 teaches parents to speak God's Word to their children continually—in everyday life. That means discipleship should happen before the crisis. Talk about technology at the dinner table. Talk about online friendships. Talk about pornography. Talk about manipulation. Talk about AI. Talk about identity. Talk about truth. Talk about faith. Talk about temptation. If we make every difficult subject taboo, the internet will become their teacher. 6. MONITOR THEIR SCREEN, BUT ALSO MONITOR THEIR HEART This is where many parents miss the deeper issue. You can monitor screen time and still miss what is happening inside the child. A child may spend only one hour online but be deeply influenced by what they consumed. Therefore, don't only ask: "How long were you online?" Also ask: "What did you learn today?" "What did you see that confused you?" "Did anything online make you afraid?" "Did anyone say something to you that made you uncomfortable?" "What do you think about what you saw?" "What would Jesus say about that?" These questions open the heart. 7. PARENTS MUST BECOME DIGITALLY LITERATE Parents, we cannot say: "I don't understand technology." Our children are growing up in a technological environment. We don't need to know everything. But we must know enough to guide them. Learn the basics of: - AI chatbots; - social media platforms; - privacy settings; - parental controls; - deepfakes and manipulated media; - online scams; - inappropriate content; - AI-generated images and videos; - cyberbullying; - digital footprints. Don't surrender the digital world simply because it is unfamiliar. If our children are learning the technology, parents must learn enough to disciple them within it. 8. THE GREATEST FILTER IS NOT A PARENTAL CONTROL APP—IT IS CHARACTER. Technology can be restricted. But eventually, children grow up. They will have their own devices. They will leave home. They will make their own decisions. So our ultimate goal cannot be: "My child behaves well because I am watching." Our goal must be: "My child chooses what is right even when nobody is watching." That is discipleship. Psalm 101:3 says: «"I will set no wicked thing before mine eyes..."» Teach your children that holiness is not merely about avoiding punishment. Holiness is choosing what honors God. DEEP INSIGHT: THE BATTLE IS FOR THE MIND Church, understand this: The battle of this generation is not merely over devices. It is over attention. Whoever controls a person's attention repeatedly has tremendous influence over that person's thinking. Repeated thoughts shape beliefs. Beliefs influence choices. Choices establish habits. Habits shape character. And character influences destiny. Therefore, when we monitor what our children consume, we are not being unnecessarily strict. We are participating in the protection of their minds. Romans 12:2 says: «"Be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind."» AI is not automatically evil. Technology is not automatically evil. But anything powerful without discernment can become destructive. The Christian response is not fear. The Christian response is wisdom. A POWERFUL ILLUSTRATION Imagine giving a child a car. The car is not evil. It can take them to school. It can take them to church. It can take them to the hospital. It can help them serve others. But would a responsible parent hand a young child the keys and say: "Go anywhere you want. I trust you." No. Why? Because power requires maturity. The same principle applies to technology. Access should increase as maturity increases. Freedom should be accompanied by responsibility. REFLECTION Parents, guardians, and the Church, let us examine ourselves. Ask yourself: 1. Do I know what my child does online? 2. Do I know which AI tools my child uses? 3. Have I taught my child how to distinguish truth from misinformation? 4. Can my child talk to me about uncomfortable online experiences? 5. Have I created reasonable digital boundaries in my home? 6. Am I monitoring my child's heart, not just their device? 7. Am I modelling responsible technology use myself? 8. Am I teaching my child God's Word strongly enough that they can stand when I am not there? And perhaps the most important question: «If the world is discipling my child every day through technology, what am I doing every day to disciple my child through God's Word?» THE MESSAGE TO PARENTS Don't be afraid of AI. Understand it. Don't worship technology. Use it wisely. Don't abandon your children to the internet. Walk with them. Don't merely restrict them. Teach them. Don't only monitor their screens. Disciple their hearts. Don't wait for tomorrow. Start today. Because the goal is not to raise children who are technologically backward. The goal is to raise children who are technologically capable, spiritually grounded, morally discerning and deeply rooted in Christ. CLOSING CHARGE Proverbs 22:6 reminds us: «"Train up a child in the way he should go..."» Parents, the world is already training our children. Social media is training them. Entertainment is training them. Algorithms are training them. Friends are training them. And AI can influence them. But God has given parents the assignment of training them too. So let us rise to the responsibility. Let us monitor with wisdom. Let us communicate with love. Let us establish boundaries. Let us learn technology. Let us teach discernment. Let us pray. And above everything else— let us point our children to Jesus Christ. Because technology may shape their environment, but Christ must shape their identity. PRAYER POINTS 1. Prayer for Wisdom Father, give us wisdom to raise our children in this rapidly changing technological generation. Help us know when to permit, when to restrict, when to correct and when to guide, in Jesus' name. Amen. 2. Prayer for Protection Lord, protect our children from harmful content, dangerous relationships, manipulation, exploitation, pornography, cyberbullying and every destructive influence that may come through technology. Amen. 3. Prayer for Discernment Father, give our children the spirit of discernment. Let them recognize deception and distinguish truth from error. Let them not believe everything they see, hear or receive from AI and the internet. Amen. 4. Prayer for Strong Christian Identity Lord Jesus, establish our children in You. Let their identity not be determined by social media, artificial intelligence, peer pressure or worldly standards. Let them know that they are fearfully and wonderfully made by You. Amen. 5. Prayer for Parents Father, strengthen parents and guardians. Give us patience, understanding, courage and wisdom. Help us not to be careless with the souls You have entrusted to us. Amen. 6. Prayer for Communication Lord, make our homes places where children can speak openly without fear. Remove unhealthy secrecy and build trust between parents and children. Amen. 7. Prayer for Digital Wisdom Father, teach our children to use technology for learning, creativity, service and the advancement of Your Kingdom rather than for destruction. Amen. 8. Prayer Against Negative Influence Every influence seeking to pull our children away from Christ, lose your hold, in the name of Jesus. Every voice contrary to God's purpose for their lives, be silenced, in Jesus' name. Amen. 9. Prayer for the Church Lord, help the Church understand this generation and respond with wisdom. Raise Christian parents, teachers, mentors and leaders who will guide young people according to Your Word. Amen. 10. Prayer of Dedication Father, we dedicate our children afresh to You. May they grow in wisdom, stature, favor and the knowledge of Jesus Christ. May technology serve them rather than enslave them. May their minds be guarded, their hearts be pure, their purpose be preserved and their lives bring glory to Your name. In Jesus' mighty name, Amen. FINAL DECLARATION I declare over every child: You will not be a victim of this generation. You will not be controlled by technology. You will not be deceived by falsehood. You will not lose your identity. You will not be destroyed by the influences of this age. Your mind belongs to Christ. Your purpose belongs to God. Your future is in His hands. You will grow in wisdom. You will walk in truth. You will discern good from evil. You will use technology wisely. And in this generation of AI, you will still know, love and serve Jesus Christ! In Jesus' mighty name. Amen! "As for me and my house, we will serve the LORD." — Joshua 24:15 If you have not given your life to Jesus kindly do so by joining a Bible believing Church.     Align with Yehusha be with Team Yeshua and will fight your Battle : God Fights for the Remnant of Peace
    When you make peace with the true Joshua—Jesus Christ—you enter into a covenant that shifts your battles from your hands into God's hands.
    In Joshua 10, the Gibeonites were targets simply because they allied themselves with Israel. Similarly, when you align your life with the Lord, the forces of spiritual darkness may target you.
    However, the shadow of Jesus in this text reveals a powerful truth: God assumes your enemies as His own.
    He does not leave you to defend yourself. When you call upon Him in times of attack, the Lord responds with swift, supernatural deliverance.
    He will disrupt the enemy's plans, cause confusion in their camps, and even move the laws of nature to ensure your complete victory.
    Key Bible Verses from Joshua 10
    The Call for Help: "The Gibeonites then sent word to Joshua in the camp at Gilgal: 'Do not abandon your servants. Come up to us quickly and save us! Help us, because all the Amorite kings from the hill country have joined forces against us.'" (Joshua 10:6)
    The Divine Assurance: "The Lord said to Joshua, 'Do not be afraid of them; I have given them into your hand. Not one of them will be able to withstand you.'" (Joshua 10:8).
    The Divine Intervention: "The Lord threw them into confusion before Israel, so Joshua and the Israelites defeated them completely... As they fled before Israel... the Lord hurled large hailstones down on them, and more of them died from the hail than were killed by the swords of the Israelites." (Joshua 10:10-11)
    Warfare PrayerHeavenly Father, Almighty God, and Precious Holy Spirit,I come before You today under the covenant of peace established through my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ (Yeshua).
    Because I have surrendered my life to You, I thank You that my battles are no longer mine alone, but they belong to the Lord.
    According to Your Word in Joshua 10, when the enemy gathers against me because of my alignment with You, I cry out for Your urgent help.
    Do not abandon your servant, Lord! Come quickly to my defense.
    I pray that You throw every demonic alliance, every spirit of fear, and every weapon formed against my health, my family, or my destiny into total confusion.
    Let Your supernatural power fight on my behalf. Hurl down Your divine judgment against the spiritual forces of wickedness that attempt to steal my peace.
    Give me the assurance that not one of my enemies will be able to withstand Your presence.
    Let the sun and moon stand still, and let time work in my favor as You fulfill Your promises in my life.
    Thank You for complete victory and for being my shield and deliverer.In the mighty name of Jesus, I pray.Amen.
  • Good morning, brethren.
    1. Morning devotion for today.
    1. MD.i. MORNING TEA
    THE WORD FOR TODAY
    TUESDAY AUGUST 18, 2O26.
    "DR. JAMES DOBSON ON PARENTING (3)"
    ‘…Bring them up in the training and instruction of the Lord.’ Ephesians 6:4 NIV
    WHEN ASKED, ‘How do you suggest parents handle their children’s activities on web sites like Facebook and Twitter?’ Dr. Dobson gave this advice: ‘Parents have to know what technology their kids are using. Sexting is a terrible thing. (‘Sexting’ is the new term for children exposing themselves to one another online, thinking they are safe because they are in the sanctuary of their own home.) Pornography is pervasive, and parents need to keep up with changes in technology and protect their kids. That’s a tough assignment, because kids are ahead of them. Parents often have extremely demanding careers and when they come home they have nothing left to give, so the culture will often take your kids to hell.’ One night a father and his daughter were out on a lake when their small boat was caught in a storm. As he rowed, Dad kept saying to his daughter, ‘Can you see the shore? Can you see the shore?’ After a terrifying hour the little girl pointed over her dad’s shoulder and said, ‘Yes, I see the light. Mum said if we were out after dark she would hang a light in the window.’ When they finally got home a tearful mother hugged her husband and daughter, and thanked God for their safe return. Looking at her, the little girl said, ‘Mum, you never had to worry. We steered by your light!’ Parent, your children are being caught in life’s storms. They are rowing in the dark with no sense of direction. Live for God, and give them a light they can steer by!
    *THIRSTING AFTER GOD*
    *TEXT:* PSALM 42:1-5.
    1As the hart panteth after the water brooks, so panteth my soul after thee, O God.
    2 My soul thirsteth for God, for the living God: when shall I come and appear before God?
    3 My tears have been my meat day and night, while they continually say unto me, Where is thy God?
    4 When I remember these things, I pour out my soul in me: for I had gone with the multitude, I went with them to the house of God, with the voice of joy and praise, with a multitude that kept holyday.
    5 Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted in me? hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise him for the help of his countenance.
    *Timeless Truth:*_"O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is;"_ Psalm 63:1).
    *INTRODUCTION*
    When a man ceases to experience thirst, he is as good as dead. The same is true in the spiritual. In fact, one of the first experiences of a converted man is thirst for God and spiritual things. Spiritual thirst is a deep longing for God and His presence. Just as the body cannot survive without water, the soul cannot flourish without God. The psalmist expresses an intense desire for the living God despite the pain, tears, discouragement and difficult circumstances surrounding him. His experience teaches us that genuine faith does not mean the absence of trouble; rather, it means learning to seek God even in the midst of trouble. When everything else fails, God remains the only lasting satisfaction for the thirsty soul.
    *1. Thirsting After God Like a Hart*
    a. The psalmist declares, *“As the hart panteth after the water brooks, so panteth my soul after thee, O God.”* A thirsty hart desperately seeks water because its survival depends upon it. Many are thirsty for wealth, pleasure, popularity, power and pride of life among others. The thirst makes them pay a heavy price to get what they are looking for. At times they pay the ultimate price. True thirst will always be demonstrated by desperate seeking for how to satisfy and quench the thirst. In the same vein, many commonly seek God's blessings without seeking for the God of the blessings. The psalmist case was different. *"So panteth my soul after thee"*. Who and what you are passionately and desperately seeking for is a reflection of the state of your heart. In the same manner, the believer should have an earnest and persistent longing for God. The psalmist does not merely desire God's gifts; he desires God Himself.
    b. His greatest hunger is to *“appear before God.”* He was thirsty to become closer to God. Jesus also echoed this when He said, *"seek ye first the kingdom of God and its righteousness"*. Our ultimate purpose for seeking God was to see His glory, be conformed to His image and be always ready for the kingdom of God. Jesus further assured that *"all other things shall be added unto you"*. The psalmist demonstrated his thirst for God when he decided, *"early will I seek thee...to see thy power and thy glory as I have seen thee in the sanctuary"* (Psalm 63:1,2). Our spiritual lives become weak when our desire for God is replaced by the pursuit of worldly pleasures, possessions, recognition or human approval. Genuine revival begins when the soul cries out for God's presence, His Word, His holiness and fellowship with Him.
    *Question*
    Is my desire for God as deep and urgent as the thirst of a hart for water?
    *2. Tearful Afflictions Giving Loss of Hope*
    a. Incidentally, the psalmist did not prioritize seeking for heavenly blessings above seeking for God just because everything was going well with him. In fact, the psalmist's circumstances have become so painful that his tears have been his food day and night. He was not finding it rosy in life at that time. One would have expected him, as many worshippers do today, to concentrate on seeking God for release from pains and troubles as priority. Worse still, people around him mockingly asked, directly and indirectly, *“Where is thy God?”.* His memories of former worship and joyful fellowship with God's people intensify his present sorrow. Yet that did not distract his affections towards God.
    b. At times, affliction can attack not only our circumstances, but also our emotions and confidence. Yet the psalmist's tears reveal that God's children may experience seasons of deep discouragement without being abandoned by God. His pain was real, but it did not have the final word. Even when circumstances seem to contradict God's promises, faith must continue to look toward Him. Seeking God and His righteousness, above all else, should not be diminished as a result of our pains, problems, persecutions and poverty among others. Whatever be our situations, the promises of God that *"all other blessings shall be added"* still stand as long as we keep seeking the face and the glory of God to be reflected in our lives above all else. We must have grace to be tougher than our tough challenges. It is our attitude and the content of our prayers in the time of distress and difficulties that reflect the genuineness of our love for God. Jesus Christ, while on the cross and under intense pains, was still consecrated to soulwinning and intercessory prayers for the sinners and the lost. The will of God and the glory of God was His priority. He has given us examples to follow.
    *Question*
    Am I consecrated to seek God and His glory as priority when affliction and tears surround me?
    *3. Trust in Abiding Grace with a Life of Holiness*
    When passing through tough times, we must maintain trust in God's abundant grace and continue to live the life that God approves. There is no challenge we pass through that God has not allowed and if God allowed it, then He will see us through as children. The act of faith is in mocking those challenges and still continues seeking the glory of God and heavenly readiness. We must learn how to feed our frustrations and fruitlessness with the word of hope and promises given by God. The psalmist speaks directly to his troubled soul: *“Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted in me? hope thou in God.”* He refuses to surrender permanently to despair. Instead, he deliberately redirects his heart toward God. Trusting God's abiding grace means choosing hope when feelings say there is no hope. It also means continuing to live faithfully, before God while waiting for His intervention. A thirsty soul must not only seek God's presence, but also remain committed to a holy life. God's grace sustains us, restores our joy and enables us to praise Him even before our circumstances change. For a child of God, no bad situation is permanent, but temporary and for a moment. *"weeping may endure for the night, but joy cometh in the morning"*.
    *Question*
    Am I deliberately trusting God's abiding grace and maintaining a holy life even when my circumstances are discouraging?
    *Prayer Points*
    1.Father, create within me an unquenchable thirst for Your presence and Your Word .
    2.Lord, strengthen me when tears, afflictions and discouragement threaten my faith .
    3.Father, make me tougher than my challenges and keep me on being engaged in Your service .
    4.Lord, visit and help those brethren who are carrying heavy loads and sustain them by Your grace .
    ```TEXT:PSALM 42:1-5```

    ```KEY VERSE:``` _*"Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted in me? hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise him for the help of his countenance" (PSALM 42:5).*_
    *As German bombs fell on England during _World War II,_ the situation became desperate. Hearts were filled with discouragement and thoughts of defeat. Then Winston Churchill's voice echoed over the radio. It inspired the nation and boosted morale among a people on the verge of giving up. On a spiritual level, believers find hope in God too, as they hear the voice that resonates through the pages of His Word. In moments of discouragement, Christians serve as a testimony to those who have never met God or heard His voice.*
    *David exemplifies this in our devotional text as he expresses acute hunger and "thirst for God, the living God". In his hopelessness, he recalled the exhilarating moments he had in God's house and presence. Reminiscences of the voice of joy and praise filled his soul. Awakened by the testimonies of God's faithfulness and the certainty of blessedness that flows from trust in God, he gladly addresses his soul and jerks back from the abyss of despondency.*
    *Are you troubled about any ugly situation or setback? Cheer up and look up! Here are gems and clues for you as a Christian pilgrim, who could, at times, be discouraged and cast down. Don't stay down. David didn't. He queried and counselled his soul. First is to know that neither discouragement nor despondency is a sign of weakness. Elijah is one biblical character who fits this description. After defeating the prophets of Baal, he received a death threat from Jezebel. His hope was shattered, and despondency set in. He wanted to die! The Lord did not rebuke him for his feelings but sent an angel to provide for his physical needs. In our times of discouragement, suicide is no option; it only leads to a more serious, endless and interminable suffering in hell. The present challenge or problem has not diminished God's love for us. He desires to lead us to a place of a renewed vision of His power!*
    *The time to exit the discouragement mode is now! Take the verifiable steps that effectively log you out, which include a deep, interminable longing for God. This is what Isaiah calls "waiting upon the Lord". Second, you will do well to consciously recall and delight in God's past acts of mercy, divine interventions, and faithfulness. Finally, you must deliberately seek the remedy of praise to uplift your downcast, crestfallen, and discouraged heart. Beloved, don't give in to despair! God will certainly lead you in paths of love, light and joy, where you will find new hope.*
    ``` MEMORY VERSE:``` _*"For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another" (GALATIANS 5:13).*_

    *The Christian liberty is the freedom Christ has purchased for the children of God through His death on the Cross of Calvary. The devil fights this liberty in diverse ways. When young Christians fail to understand their liberty in Christ, the devil keeps reminding them about their past sins to create major stumbling blocks to their prayers.*

    *It is a common strategy of the devil to manipulate them and push them back into their shells. Once you are born again through genuine repentance, you have the liberty to serve God in truth and in Spirit because God does not give us the spirit of fear but He gives us the Spirit of power and of a sound mind.*

    *When God has forgiven you, you are justified by faith and no longer bound to the yoke of sin. However, this liberty is not a guarantee to continue in sins, believing the erroneous doctrine of eternal security. Apostle Paul warns: "For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another" (Galatians 5:13).*

    *THE TEMPTATION OF JESUS - 3* 🫵🏽🏽‍🏽‍🫷🏽🏽🏽‍🏽

    ```MATTHEW 4:8-11```
    ```Key Verse:``` _*"Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve" (Matthew 4:10).*_

    Jesus has power and authority over Satan, and He always uses them at the appropriate time. In this situation, Jesus did not hesitate to command Satan to get behind Him. Satan knew that Jesus is over and above him, yet he tempted Christ to bow down in worship to him. Can the master bow to worship his servant? No! Jesus cannot, will not, and did not bow to Satan.

    As a friend of Jesus, you must know who you are in Christ. You are a joint-heir with Christ. What Jesus has is what you have because of the privilege of sonship. Do not throw your costly apparels (Christian experiences) to the dogs. The things of this world as stated in 1 John 2:15-17 will pass away.

    Let the love of God and the things of eternal value be uppermost in your heart. Do not yield to the enticement and allurement that your friends are using to deceive you. The fashions of the world may look attractive, but they will soon pass away. Do not follow them. Do not seek to please the world. Strive to please only God.

    *Jesus has set the example of refusing to bow to Satan in order to show us that we can be victorious. You can do likewise. Become His friend if you are not, follow Him faithfully and consistently, and He will give you the grace to overcome Satan.*

    ```rayer:``` _*Lord, please help me to obey You only and not yield to pressure to obey, worship or serve Satan.*_ 🏽
    2. Morning Prayer for today.
    MP.i. Morning Prayer
    Thou wilt keep Moses Ishaku in perfect peace, [whose] mind [is] stayed [on thee]: because he trusteth in thee. ⏤ Isaiah 26:3
    Trust the past to God's mercy, the present to God's love, and the future to God's providence. ⏤ St. Augustine
    Father, days come and go, bringing change and decay, but You remain the same forever. A thousand years in Your sight are like a single day. With You, there is no past or future; all time is present to You. Yet in our small lives, we need daily blessings. The memories of our past sorrows cast shadows on our present, and our fears for the future often cast shadows on our path.
    We are grateful that You see and know everything—past, present, and future—and that we can safely leave it all in Your hands. Help us to live faithfully in this little day that is ours, leaving the past and future with You, without worrying. So, we ask for Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, to guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus, enabling us to be true and faithful in all our duties.
    We ask You, O Lord, to give us the strength and wisdom we need for today’s responsibilities and experiences. Let nothing surprise or dishearten us. Hold our hand through every situation. Give us wisdom to answer every question and make every decision in a way that pleases You. Strengthen us to resist temptation, no matter how subtly it approaches. Increase Your love within us so that we may be patient with everyone we meet, compassionate toward those who are sorrowful, cheerful with those who are discouraged, and helpful to those who are weak.
    Send us out to do Your work so that everything we do today is for You. Breathe upon us as we wait here in Your presence and give us Your blessing as our Father. We ask this in Jesus’ name. Amen.
    Good morning, brethren. 1. Morning devotion for today. 1. MD.i. 😀💝🌺🎁🌹🎀 MORNING TEA THE WORD FOR TODAY TUESDAY AUGUST 18, 2O26. "DR. JAMES DOBSON ON PARENTING (3)" ‘…Bring them up in the training and instruction of the Lord.’ Ephesians 6:4 NIV WHEN ASKED, ‘How do you suggest parents handle their children’s activities on web sites like Facebook and Twitter?’ Dr. Dobson gave this advice: ‘Parents have to know what technology their kids are using. Sexting is a terrible thing. (‘Sexting’ is the new term for children exposing themselves to one another online, thinking they are safe because they are in the sanctuary of their own home.) Pornography is pervasive, and parents need to keep up with changes in technology and protect their kids. That’s a tough assignment, because kids are ahead of them. Parents often have extremely demanding careers and when they come home they have nothing left to give, so the culture will often take your kids to hell.’ One night a father and his daughter were out on a lake when their small boat was caught in a storm. As he rowed, Dad kept saying to his daughter, ‘Can you see the shore? Can you see the shore?’ After a terrifying hour the little girl pointed over her dad’s shoulder and said, ‘Yes, I see the light. Mum said if we were out after dark she would hang a light in the window.’ When they finally got home a tearful mother hugged her husband and daughter, and thanked God for their safe return. Looking at her, the little girl said, ‘Mum, you never had to worry. We steered by your light!’ Parent, your children are being caught in life’s storms. They are rowing in the dark with no sense of direction. Live for God, and give them a light they can steer by! Bible In A Year: Gen 6:9 – 8:4, Matt 24:37-51. [17/08, 9:11 pm] Pastor Attah: *MEDITATIONS ON DAILY ⓂANNA* TUESDAY, 18TH AUGUST, 2026. *THIRSTING AFTER GOD* *TEXT:* PSALM 42:1-5. 1As the hart panteth after the water brooks, so panteth my soul after thee, O God. 2 My soul thirsteth for God, for the living God: when shall I come and appear before God? 3 My tears have been my meat day and night, while they continually say unto me, Where is thy God? 4 When I remember these things, I pour out my soul in me: for I had gone with the multitude, I went with them to the house of God, with the voice of joy and praise, with a multitude that kept holyday. 5 Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted in me? hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise him for the help of his countenance. *Timeless Truth:*_"O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is;"_ Psalm 63:1). *INTRODUCTION* When a man ceases to experience thirst, he is as good as dead. The same is true in the spiritual. In fact, one of the first experiences of a converted man is thirst for God and spiritual things. Spiritual thirst is a deep longing for God and His presence. Just as the body cannot survive without water, the soul cannot flourish without God. The psalmist expresses an intense desire for the living God despite the pain, tears, discouragement and difficult circumstances surrounding him. His experience teaches us that genuine faith does not mean the absence of trouble; rather, it means learning to seek God even in the midst of trouble. When everything else fails, God remains the only lasting satisfaction for the thirsty soul. *1. Thirsting After God Like a Hart* a. The psalmist declares, *“As the hart panteth after the water brooks, so panteth my soul after thee, O God.”* A thirsty hart desperately seeks water because its survival depends upon it. Many are thirsty for wealth, pleasure, popularity, power and pride of life among others. The thirst makes them pay a heavy price to get what they are looking for. At times they pay the ultimate price. True thirst will always be demonstrated by desperate seeking for how to satisfy and quench the thirst. In the same vein, many commonly seek God's blessings without seeking for the God of the blessings. The psalmist case was different. *"So panteth my soul after thee"*. Who and what you are passionately and desperately seeking for is a reflection of the state of your heart. In the same manner, the believer should have an earnest and persistent longing for God. The psalmist does not merely desire God's gifts; he desires God Himself. b. His greatest hunger is to *“appear before God.”* He was thirsty to become closer to God. Jesus also echoed this when He said, *"seek ye first the kingdom of God and its righteousness"*. Our ultimate purpose for seeking God was to see His glory, be conformed to His image and be always ready for the kingdom of God. Jesus further assured that *"all other things shall be added unto you"*. The psalmist demonstrated his thirst for God when he decided, *"early will I seek thee...to see thy power and thy glory as I have seen thee in the sanctuary"* (Psalm 63:1,2). Our spiritual lives become weak when our desire for God is replaced by the pursuit of worldly pleasures, possessions, recognition or human approval. Genuine revival begins when the soul cries out for God's presence, His Word, His holiness and fellowship with Him. *Question* Is my desire for God as deep and urgent as the thirst of a hart for water? *2. Tearful Afflictions Giving Loss of Hope* a. Incidentally, the psalmist did not prioritize seeking for heavenly blessings above seeking for God just because everything was going well with him. In fact, the psalmist's circumstances have become so painful that his tears have been his food day and night. He was not finding it rosy in life at that time. One would have expected him, as many worshippers do today, to concentrate on seeking God for release from pains and troubles as priority. Worse still, people around him mockingly asked, directly and indirectly, *“Where is thy God?”.* His memories of former worship and joyful fellowship with God's people intensify his present sorrow. Yet that did not distract his affections towards God. b. At times, affliction can attack not only our circumstances, but also our emotions and confidence. Yet the psalmist's tears reveal that God's children may experience seasons of deep discouragement without being abandoned by God. His pain was real, but it did not have the final word. Even when circumstances seem to contradict God's promises, faith must continue to look toward Him. Seeking God and His righteousness, above all else, should not be diminished as a result of our pains, problems, persecutions and poverty among others. Whatever be our situations, the promises of God that *"all other blessings shall be added"* still stand as long as we keep seeking the face and the glory of God to be reflected in our lives above all else. We must have grace to be tougher than our tough challenges. It is our attitude and the content of our prayers in the time of distress and difficulties that reflect the genuineness of our love for God. Jesus Christ, while on the cross and under intense pains, was still consecrated to soulwinning and intercessory prayers for the sinners and the lost. The will of God and the glory of God was His priority. He has given us examples to follow. *Question* Am I consecrated to seek God and His glory as priority when affliction and tears surround me? *3. Trust in Abiding Grace with a Life of Holiness* When passing through tough times, we must maintain trust in God's abundant grace and continue to live the life that God approves. There is no challenge we pass through that God has not allowed and if God allowed it, then He will see us through as children. The act of faith is in mocking those challenges and still continues seeking the glory of God and heavenly readiness. We must learn how to feed our frustrations and fruitlessness with the word of hope and promises given by God. The psalmist speaks directly to his troubled soul: *“Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted in me? hope thou in God.”* He refuses to surrender permanently to despair. Instead, he deliberately redirects his heart toward God. Trusting God's abiding grace means choosing hope when feelings say there is no hope. It also means continuing to live faithfully, before God while waiting for His intervention. A thirsty soul must not only seek God's presence, but also remain committed to a holy life. God's grace sustains us, restores our joy and enables us to praise Him even before our circumstances change. For a child of God, no bad situation is permanent, but temporary and for a moment. *"weeping may endure for the night, but joy cometh in the morning"*. *Question* Am I deliberately trusting God's abiding grace and maintaining a holy life even when my circumstances are discouraging? *Prayer Points* 1.Father, create within me an unquenchable thirst for Your presence and Your Word 🙏. 2.Lord, strengthen me when tears, afflictions and discouragement threaten my faith 🙏. 3.Father, make me tougher than my challenges and keep me on being engaged in Your service 🙏. 4.Lord, visit and help those brethren who are carrying heavy loads and sustain them by Your grace 🙏. *HYMN:* More of Jesus would I know *BIBLE IN ONE YEAR:* JOB 35-38. Hearts were filled with discouragement and thoughts of defeat. Then Winston Churchill's voice echoed over the radio. It inspired the nation and boosted morale among a people on the verge of giving up. On a spiritual level, believers find hope in God too, as they hear the voice that resonates through the pages of His Word. In moments of discouragement, Christians serve as a testimony to those who have never met God or heard His voice.* *David exemplifies this in our devotional text as he expresses acute hunger and "thirst for God, the living God". In his hopelessness, he recalled the exhilarating moments he had in God's house and presence. Reminiscences of the voice of joy and praise filled his soul. Awakened by the testimonies of God's faithfulness and the certainty of blessedness that flows from trust in God, he gladly addresses his soul and jerks back from the abyss of despondency.* *Are you troubled about any ugly situation or setback? Cheer up and look up! Here are gems and clues for you as a Christian pilgrim, who could, at times, be discouraged and cast down. Don't stay down. David didn't. He queried and counselled his soul. First is to know that neither discouragement nor despondency is a sign of weakness. Elijah is one biblical character who fits this description. After defeating the prophets of Baal, he received a death threat from Jezebel. His hope was shattered, and despondency set in. He wanted to die! The Lord did not rebuke him for his feelings but sent an angel to provide for his physical needs. In our times of discouragement, suicide is no option; it only leads to a more serious, endless and interminable suffering in hell. The present challenge or problem has not diminished God's love for us. He desires to lead us to a place of a renewed vision of His power!* *The time to exit the discouragement mode is now! Take the verifiable steps that effectively log you out, which include a deep, interminable longing for God. This is what Isaiah calls "waiting upon the Lord". Second, you will do well to consciously recall and delight in God's past acts of mercy, divine interventions, and faithfulness. Finally, you must deliberately seek the remedy of praise to uplift your downcast, crestfallen, and discouraged heart. Beloved, don't give in to despair! God will certainly lead you in paths of love, light and joy, where you will find new hope.* ✍🏽```THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:``` _*God always opens the window of hope for His own in the darkest of times.*_ 📜📜```THE BIBLE IN ONE YEAR:``` *JOB 35-38*📜📜 Dousing Despondency https://dailymanna.app// *RECOMMENDED GOSPEL HYMNS AND SONGS - GHS 1: ALL YOUR ANXIETY; GHS 3: IMPATIENT HEART, BE STILL; GHS 4: LEAVE IT THERE; GHS 5: NEVER GIVE UP; AND GHS 7: TURN YOUR EYES UPON JESUS* *TXD [THEXDEVOTIONALS] on Twitter* *#DailyManna18thAugust2026* *#GCK* *#WorshipNuggets* *#BibleNuggets* *#LeadershipNuggets* *#RevivalNuggets* *#CrusadeNuggets* https://www.youtube.com/[THEXDEVOTIONALS] [17/08, 9:11 pm] Pastor Attah: ```DEEPER CHRISTIAN LIFE MINISTRY``` _*HIGHER EVERYD🅰️Y: (A DAILY DEVOTIONAL GUIDE FOR YOUTHS)*_ ✍🏽👩🏻‍💼🌻 🍇🙏🏽🛰🚀🔬📚 ```TUESDAY 18TH AUGUST, 2026``` *STAND IN CHRIST'S LIBERTY* 🎚️📓📖🫵🏽🙋🏽‍♂️🙋🏽‍♀️🧎🏽🧎🏽‍♀️🙏🏽🙌🏽 📜📜```TEXT:GALATIANS 5:1-13```📜📜 📖``` MEMORY VERSE:``` _*"For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another" (GALATIANS 5:13).*_ *The Christian liberty is the freedom Christ has purchased for the children of God through His death on the Cross of Calvary. The devil fights this liberty in diverse ways. When young Christians fail to understand their liberty in Christ, the devil keeps reminding them about their past sins to create major stumbling blocks to their prayers.* *It is a common strategy of the devil to manipulate them and push them back into their shells. Once you are born again through genuine repentance, you have the liberty to serve God in truth and in Spirit because God does not give us the spirit of fear but He gives us the Spirit of power and of a sound mind.* *When God has forgiven you, you are justified by faith and no longer bound to the yoke of sin. However, this liberty is not a guarantee to continue in sins, believing the erroneous doctrine of eternal security.   • *TODAY'S PROPHETIC DECLARATION - MONDAY, 17TH AUGUST, 2026.*
    *I WILL WAIT FOR MY CHANGE TO COME*
    Scripture:
    “If a man die, shall he live again? all the days of my appointed time will I wait, till my change come.” — Job 14:14 (KJV).
    *Reflection – Your Waiting Season Is Not Your Final Season:*
    Job 14:14 expresses the heart of someone passing through a difficult season but refusing to give up hope. Job understood that life has appointed seasons, and he chose to wait for his change.
    There are moments when we pray and do not immediately see the answer. There are seasons when progress appears slow, doors seem closed, and circumstances do not look the way we expected. But delay does not mean denial, and a difficult season does not mean that God has abandoned us.
    Today, God is reminding you that your present condition is not necessarily your final destination. Continue to trust Him. Continue to pray. Continue to work faithfully. Continue to believe.
    Your appointed time is in God's hands, and He is able to bring change when the time is right.
    *Prophetic Declaration:*
    Today, I declare that my waiting shall not be wasted. I will wait upon the Lord with faith, patience, and confidence, knowing that He is working even when I cannot see what He is doing.
    I declare that my change shall come. Every season of stagnation, delay, disappointment, limitation, and frustration shall give way to a new season according to God's perfect purpose for my life.
    Today, I receive grace to remain faithful while I wait. I shall not abandon my faith because of temporary difficulties. I shall not allow disappointment to make me forget God's promises.
    I declare that the Lord is preparing me for the next chapter of my life. He is developing my character, strengthening my faith, increasing my wisdom, and preparing me for opportunities that are aligned with His purpose.
    I proclaim a new season over my family, ministry, work, business, studies, relationships, and destiny. May God bring renewal wherever there has been weariness, restoration wherever there has been loss, and progress wherever there has been stagnation.
    I declare that every legitimate prayer I have committed into God's hands shall receive His perfect response. Where God says yes, may the door open. Where He says wait, may I receive grace to wait. Where He says no, may I have the wisdom to trust His better plan.
    Today, I refuse to be defined by my past. My previous failures shall not determine my future. My disappointments shall not cancel my destiny. My mistakes shall not prevent God from accomplishing His purpose in my life.
    I declare that new opportunities shall arise according to God's will. New strength shall come upon me. New ideas shall flow. New doors shall open. New testimonies shall emerge.
    I proclaim that my hope in God shall remain alive. Like Job, I shall continue to trust the Lord even in difficult seasons. My faith shall survive the waiting period, and my testimony shall glorify God.
    My waiting has a purpose.
    My season will change.
    My hope is alive.
    My God is faithful.
    My change shall come!
    Through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen!
    *Action Steps for today:*
    Begin with thanksgiving: Thank God for sustaining you through every season of your life.
    Read Job 14:1–14: Reflect on Job's perseverance and his decision to wait on God.
    Declare: “I will wait for my appointed time; my change shall come according to God's perfect will.”
    Surrender your timeline: Give God your expectations, deadlines, and unanswered prayers.
    Keep working faithfully: Do not allow waiting to become an excuse for inactivity. Continue doing what God has placed in your hands.
    Encourage someone: Remind someone who is going through a difficult season that their present situation is not the end of their story.
    End with praise: Thank God in advance for the change, restoration, and testimony He is preparing.
    *Prayer:*
    Heavenly Father,
    Thank You because You are the God who holds my times and seasons in Your hands. Thank You for sustaining me through every difficult and uncertain season.
    Lord, give me grace to wait patiently for my appointed time. When I become tired, strengthen me. When I become discouraged, renew my hope. When I cannot understand what You are doing, help me to trust Your wisdom.
    Bring change into every area of my life that needs Your intervention. Bring restoration where there has been loss, progress where there has been stagnation, healing where there has been brokenness, and renewed strength where there has been weariness.
    Bless my family, ministry, work, business, studies, relationships, and destiny. Let Your perfect will be accomplished in every area of my life.
    Help me not to compare my journey with the journey of others. Teach me to trust Your timing and remain faithful to You while I wait.
    I believe that my story is not over. My season will change. My hope is in You.
    Through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
    *Blessing for today:*
    May the Lord strengthen you in every waiting season. May He give you patience without frustration, faith without fear, and hope without disappointment.
    May every season of delay turn into a season of divine fulfillment. May the Lord renew your strength, restore your joy, establish your plans according to His will, and bring beautiful changes into every area of your life.
    May your family, ministry, work, business, studies, and destiny experience fresh grace and divine advancement (Amen).
    The season may be challenging, but God is still faithful. Keep trusting. Keep praying. Keep working. Keep believing.
    Your waiting has a purpose.
    Your faith will not fail.
    Your season will change.
    Your testimony shall come.
    “I WILL WAIT... TILL MY CHANGE COME.” — JOB 14:14
    Good morning beloved and do have a blessed, hopeful, and testimony-filled new week!
    Shalom!
Where He says no, may I have the wisdom to trust His better plan. Today, I refuse to be defined by my past. My previous failures shall not determine my future. My disappointments shall not cancel my destiny. My mistakes shall not prevent God from accomplishing His purpose in my life. I declare that new opportunities shall arise according to God's will. New strength shall come upon me. New ideas shall flow. New doors shall open. New testimonies shall emerge. I proclaim that my hope in God shall remain alive. Like Job, I shall continue to trust the Lord even in difficult seasons. My faith shall survive the waiting period, and my testimony shall glorify God. My waiting has a purpose. My season will change. My hope is alive. My God is faithful. My change shall come! Through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen! 🙏🔥 ✅*Action Steps for today:* 1️⃣ Begin with thanksgiving: Thank God for sustaining you through every season of your life. 2️⃣ Read Job 14:1–14: Reflect on Job's perseverance and his decision to wait on God. 3️⃣ Declare: “I will wait for my appointed time; my change shall come according to God's perfect will.” 4️⃣ Surrender your timeline: Give God your expectations, deadlines, and unanswered prayers. 5️⃣ Keep working faithfully: Do not allow waiting to become an excuse for inactivity. Thank You for sustaining me through every difficult and uncertain season. Lord, give me grace to wait patiently for my appointed time. When I become tired, strengthen me. Bring restoration where there has been loss, progress where there has been stagnation, healing where there has been brokenness, and renewed strength where there has been weariness. Bless my family, ministry, work, business, studies, relationships, and destiny. Let Your perfect will be accomplished in every area of my life.
