Good morning to everyone. Grace and Peace be with you. It appears that the rain monster is headed back our way. Perhaps today. I have one more yard to mow/bale, and hopefully I can get that done before it gets here. If I recall, the rain is supposed to start this afternoon around 3. We kind of made a plan for today, so…fingers crossed that the monster stays away for the right amount of time. This year has been a wild year for my yard. I do not recall a year where it felt like a cloud just passed over my place and the grass grew six inches. It is crazy how fast my yard is growing this year. I don’t even think that it has to rain a tiny bit for my yard to keep growing. It is crazy. You know, I always thought a balance of water and sun was the formula for a good growing yard. Apparently, my yard has an attitude and has said, “Give me rain, or not; give me sun or not; give me cold or not; I will grow and will not rot.” I guess it is its version of ‘hold my beer’. The wonderful part of it is that my yard actually looks like a fluffy pillow of beautiful grass. Not sure how that happened, but it did. There are not a lot of thistles or weeds; even in the back part of the yard, it is beautiful grass. The way that the grass is growing so quickly and fully is a reminder of how quickly sin can manifest in our lives. Now you are wondering, how did I just turn my beautiful pillow grass into sin? Stick with me; I think you will like this. Some of you who are used to my brain are trying to see my vision first. Haha. In one of the parables that Jesus taught, the farmer planted bountiful seeds and had a great crop. However, one day one of his servants told him of how the weeds were growing up in the plants and should they pull the weeds. The farmer told them no; they would worry about the weeds at harvest. My nice and quick-growing yard is just like the weeds in the parable, in that the weeds sprung up quickly and became noticeable to the servants. They did not need attention, but they were trying to take over the crop to the point that the servant wanted to rid the field of them. Sin works the same way. It finds its way into our lives, usually with logic. Such as, Jesus sat with sinners, so why can’t I? The problem with that example is that Jesus was perfect and without blemish. He did not succumb to the sin from which he was trying to save them from. He simply sat with them and told them the truth in love. WE on the other hand, are sinners who are saved by grace. WE are still human and are susceptible to the temptation of the same sins that we are sitting with. Meaning, a drug addict should not move into a drug-infested area to witness because the temptation could become too strong for them to resist. Once sin has planted itself in our minds, it festers and grows quickly. It uses logic and ‘common sense’ ideas to justify its existence. Soon, and it does not take long, for those around you to see how the sin has manifested and grew in your/our lives. And the bad part of it all is that many times we either do not see it and still try to justify our actions with the ‘Jesus sat with sinners’ or we do not see it at all. Today I encourage you to go to Him in prayer and ask Him to reveal any areas in your life that you may be lying to yourself about as a witness opportunity to allow for your sin. When He reveals it to you, go to Him and ask Him to forgive you. If He had sent anyone to open your eyes, ask them to forgive you for not listening to His servant. As you do that, you are telling the enemy to kick rocks and that will give him a headache for sure. Be blessed. **Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom, and as you sing psalms, hymns and spiritual songs with gratitude in your hearts to God. – Colossians 3:17

FAITH THAT PLEASES GOD Believe, Come, and Diligently Seek Him Key Scripture: “But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.” — Hebrews 11:6 (KJV) Thought Of The Day... There are many things we desire from God—healing, provision, direction, protection, restoration, peace, deliverance, and breakthrough. But Hebrews 11:6 turns our attention from what we want God to do for us to what pleases God. And Scripture gives us the answer: FAITH PLEASES GOD. Not perfect circumstances. Not having every answer. Not knowing how everything will work out. Faith. Faith says, “God, I may not understand what You are doing, but I still believe You.” • WITHOUT FAITH IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO PLEASE GOD The Scripture does not say it is difficult to please God without faith. It says: “Without faith it is impossible to please him.” Why is faith so important? Because faith reveals where our confidence rests. When everything is going well, it can be easy to say, “I trust God.” But genuine faith is revealed when the diagnosis is uncertain, the money is tight, the family is struggling, the door has not opened, the prayer has not yet been answered, and you cannot see what God is doing. Faith says: “Even here, I trust You.” Job declared: “Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him.” — Job 13:15 (KJV) There will be seasons when you cannot trace God's hand. But you can still trust His heart. Your circumstances may change, but God has not changed. • YOU MUST BELIEVE THAT GOD IS! Hebrews says: “…he that cometh to God must believe that he is…” Before believing God for something, we must believe God is. He is God when you understand Him. He is God when you don't. He is God when the door opens. He is still God when the door closes. He is God when the answer comes immediately. He is still God when He makes you wait. Sometimes our faith becomes focused primarily on God's gifts: “Lord, give me this. Lord, change that. Lord, open this door.” But mature faith says: “Lord, even if You don't give me what I requested when I requested it, I still want You.” Remember the three Hebrew men standing before the fiery furnace: “Our God whom we serve is able to deliver us…” — Daniel 3:17 (KJV) But then they declared: “But if not… we will not serve thy gods…” — Daniel 3:18 (KJV) That's powerful faith. God can. God is able. I believe God will. But even if He chooses another way, HE IS STILL GOD! • FAITH COMES TO GOD Notice the wording: “…he that cometh to God…” Faith doesn't run away from God during trouble. Faith runs toward God. When you're hurting—come. When you're confused—come. When you're disappointed—come. When you're weary—come. When you've made mistakes—come. When you don't know what tomorrow holds—COME TO GOD! David said: “When my heart is overwhelmed: lead me to the rock that is higher than I.” — Psalm 61:2 (KJV) Your feelings may tell you to withdraw. Your disappointment may tell you God has forgotten you. Your circumstances may tell you prayer isn't working. But faith says: “I'm going back into His presence.” • DILIGENT FAITH DOESN'T QUIT SEEKING! The verse concludes: “…he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.” There is a difference between casually seeking God and diligently seeking God. Diligence means persistence. It means you keep praying. You keep believing. You keep worshiping. You keep reading His Word. You keep serving. You keep showing up. You keep trusting God even when nothing appears to be changing. Jesus taught: “Men ought always to pray, and not to faint.” — Luke 18:1 (KJV) Some answers require faith that refuses to quit. You prayed yesterday? Pray again. You worshiped yesterday? Worship again. You believed yesterday? Believe again today. Don't allow God's silence to convince you that God is absent. Silence does not mean abandonment. Waiting does not mean denial. Delay does not mean God has forgotten you. • GOD REWARDS THOSE WHO SEEK HIM! God promises that He is: “…a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.” But we must understand the greatest reward of seeking God. The greatest reward is not merely receiving something from His hand—it is experiencing more of His presence. Sometimes the reward is an open door. Sometimes it is healing. Sometimes it is provision. Sometimes it is restoration. But sometimes the reward is strength to endure what God has not yet removed. Paul prayed three times for his thorn to be removed, but God's response was: “My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness.” — 2 Corinthians 12:9 (KJV) Paul asked for removal. God gave him sustaining grace. Never limit God's reward to one particular answer. Sometimes God changes the situation. Sometimes God changes you while you're walking through the situation. Either way, God remains faithful. DON'T STOP BELIEVING! Perhaps you have been praying about something for a long time. You've asked. You've waited. You've cried. You've prayed again. And you're wondering: “God, when will You answer me?” Hebrews 11:6 speaks directly into that season: KEEP BELIEVING. KEEP COMING. KEEP SEEKING. KEEP TRUSTING. Your faith is not wasted. Your prayers are not wasted. Your worship is not wasted. Your obedience is not wasted. God sees every moment you choose faith instead of fear. “For we walk by faith, not by sight.” — 2 Corinthians 5:7 (KJV) You don't need to see everything God is doing to believe God is still working. PRAYER... Heavenly Father, We come before You today declaring that You are God, and besides You there is none other. Lord, increase our faith. When we cannot see the way, help us trust You. When we don't understand what You're doing, help us trust You. When our prayers seem unanswered, help us trust You. When our bodies are hurting, our finances are strained, our families are struggling, our hearts are heavy, and our minds are weary—help us trust You! Father, forgive us for the times we allowed fear to speak louder than faith. Forgive us for the times we doubted Your goodness because we could not understand Your plan. Today we declare: YOU ARE STILL GOD! We believe that You are. We believe You are faithful. We believe You are able. We believe You are our Provider. We believe You are our Healer. We believe You are our Deliverer. We believe You are our Keeper. And we believe You are a rewarder of those who diligently seek You. So we will seek You when life is good, and we will seek You when life is difficult. We will seek You when doors open, and we will seek You when doors close. We will seek You when we understand, and we will seek You when we don't. Give us faith that refuses to quit. Let our lives declare: “I DON'T HAVE TO SEE IT TO BELIEVE IT, BECAUSE I KNOW THE GOD IN WHOM I HAVE BELIEVED!” We trust Your timing. We trust Your wisdom. We trust Your Word. We trust Your plan. And most importantly, we trust You. In the mighty, matchless, powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen and Amen! DECLARATION OF FAITH... Today I declare: I WILL WALK BY FAITH AND NOT BY SIGHT! I believe God is. I believe God can. I believe God is able. I believe God is faithful. I will not allow what I see to cancel what God has spoken. I will diligently seek Him. I will keep praying. I will keep worshiping. I will keep trusting. I will keep believing. And even while I am waiting, MY FAITH WILL STILL PLEASE GOD! BELIEVE. COME. SEEK. TRUST. Love is not feeling some emotional force its deliberate choice Truth is, love is not a feeling over which we have no control, that is driven without thought by waves of emotion. (I think that might be a definition of infatuation.) Real love is deliberate and thoughtful. The essence of love is the deliberate choose to be love. Our emotions are impacted by stress, whether or not we are sick, under pressure, distracted or just plain tired. Therefore, how we feel emotionally is often a very poor guide for how we should show love. In contrast, consider how God loves us. John declares that God is love (1 John 4:8). Love is the foundation, the essence and the best descriptor of His character, as well as the motivation for everything He does. With great care God so loved the world that He was willing to allow His Son to come to earth and die so that our sins could be forgiven (John 3:16). IT'S A DELIBERATE CHOICE AND SACRIFICE YOU MAKE EVERYDAY...CHRIST LOVE THE BRIDE(CHURCH) THAT HE GAVE HIMSELF TO DIE FOR HER EVERYDAY YOU GIVEN A CHOICE TO LOVE...that CHOICE IS SACRIFICE THERE WILL ALWAYS BE SELF DENIAL FOR OTHERS

Kingdom Carriers | The Kingdom the Father Delights to Give There is a remarkable sentence Jesus spoke that we can easily read too quickly: "Do not be afraid, little flock, for your Father has been pleased to give you the kingdom." — Luke 12:32 Think about those words. The Father has been pleased to give you the Kingdom. Jesus had just been speaking about worry. What will we eat? What will we wear? How will our needs be met? These are deeply human concerns. Yet Jesus redirects their attention from what they were trying to secure to what the Father was pleased to give. The Kingdom. Perhaps that's where anxiety often exposes something deeper. We become consumed with securing what the Father already knows we need. Jesus doesn't deny those needs. He changes their order. "Seek His kingdom, and these things will be given to you as well." — Luke 12:31 The world teaches us to build life from the outside in: Secure enough. Accumulate enough. Control enough. Then perhaps we will have peace. Jesus reverses the order. Begin with the King and His Kingdom. Then allow everything else to find its proper place beneath His rule. And perhaps the most beautiful part is this: The Father isn't reluctant. Jesus says He is pleased to give us the Kingdom. We are not trying to persuade an unwilling God to release His purposes. We are responding to a Father who delights in bringing His children under the goodness of His reign. So maybe Kingdom living isn't primarily about acquiring more from God. Perhaps it begins by recognising the magnitude of what He has already invited us into. We keep asking for things from the King. The Father has given us the Kingdom. Obey God Even When It’s Difficult (John 14:15) It is easy to say that we love God. But Jesus connected love with something very practical: Obedience. He said: “If you love me, keep my commands.” That can be challenging because obedience isn't always convenient. Sometimes God asks us to forgive when we would rather hold a grudge. To tell the truth when lying would be easier. To walk away from temptation when everyone else is participating. To wait when we desperately want to move forward. To love people who don't treat us well. To give when keeping everything for ourselves feels safer. To choose God's way when our own way seems more attractive. Following Jesus isn't simply about agreeing with Him. It is about allowing His Word to change the way we live. There will be moments when you know what the right thing is, but doing it will cost you something. That's where genuine faith becomes visible. Anyone can say, “I trust God,” when everything is going well. But obedience says: “I trust God even when I don't understand.” Think about Abraham. God called him to leave his homeland and go where He would show him. Abraham didn't have the entire journey mapped out. He simply responded in faith. Think about Noah. God gave him an instruction that probably seemed strange to everyone around him. But Noah obeyed. Think about Mary. She accepted God's calling even though it would completely change her life. And above all, look at Jesus. In the garden of Gethsemane, Jesus faced the suffering of the cross and prayed to the Father. He chose the Father's will. His obedience led Him to the cross, where He gave His life for our salvation. That is the heart of the Gospel. Jesus didn't simply tell us to obey God. He demonstrated complete obedience Himself. Because of His sacrifice, we can receive forgiveness and reconciliation with God. So when God asks you to do something difficult, remember that obedience isn't about earning His love. We obey because He has already loved us. Grace doesn't give us permission to ignore God. Grace transforms our hearts so that we want to follow Him. Maybe God has already shown you something you need to change. Maybe you know you need to apologize. Maybe you need to end a relationship that is pulling you away from Christ. Maybe you need to stop a habit that is damaging your walk with God. Maybe you need to forgive. Maybe you need to start serving. Maybe you need to surrender your future to Him. Whatever it is, don't keep asking God for a different instruction simply because the first one is uncomfortable. Pray for courage. Ask for wisdom. Then obey. You don't need to see the entire outcome before taking the next faithful step. Sometimes obedience begins with one simple “Yes, Lord.” And remember: Delayed obedience is still disobedience when we knowingly refuse to do what God has called us to do. Don't allow fear, pride, comfort, or people's opinions to keep you from following Christ. The world may not always understand your choices. That's okay. Your goal isn't to impress the world. Your goal is to honour God. Love God with your words, but demonstrate that love through your obedience. Today, ask yourself: “Is there something God has been asking me to do that I have been avoiding?” If there is, don't run from it. Bring it to God. Take the next step. Trust Him. Obey Him. And leave the results in His hands. 19-08-2026 Guard Your Heart With His Word Psalm 119:9 (AMP) “How can a young man keep his way pure? By keeping watch on himself and keeping his life in accordance with Your word [conforming his life to Your precepts].” In a world filled with distractions, opinions, temptations, and voices competing for our attention, God gives us a simple but powerful answer: stay close to His Word. Psalm 119:9 reminds us that purity isn't simply about avoiding the wrong things. It is about intentionally choosing to let God's Word shape the way we think, speak, act, and live. Our hearts are constantly being influenced by what we watch, listen to, read, and allow into our minds. That's why we cannot afford to treat God's Word as something we only turn to when life gets difficult. His Word is meant to guide us every day. When God's Word becomes our standard, it helps us recognize what doesn't belong in our lives. When temptation comes, His truth gives us something stronger to stand on. When we're confused, His Word gives direction. When we're discouraged, His promises remind us who God is. You don't have to be perfect to live a life that honors God. You simply need a heart that is willing to listen, obey, and continually return to Him. 💭 Ask yourself today: What am I allowing to influence my heart and decisions more than God's Word? Maybe today is the day to put down the things that are pulling you away from God and pick up His Word again. Help me to guard my heart and be intentional about what I allow into my life. Give me wisdom to recognize what is not pleasing to You and strength to walk away from it. Help me to live a life that reflects You—not perfectly, but faithfully. Wednesday, 19th August, 2026 TITLE: "MORE THAN A CONQUEROR THROUGH CHRIST" ANCHOR SCRIPTURE(S) Romans 8:37 (KJV) "Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us." 1 Corinthians 15:57 (KJV) "But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ." QUOTE TO REFLECT ON "Victory is not the absence of battles; it is overcoming them through Christ." DAY'S REFLECTION Every believer will encounter battles—difficult circumstances, disappointments, opposition, temptations, and moments when life seems overwhelming. Yet Scripture gives us a powerful assurance: we are more than conquerors through Christ. Romans 8:37 says, "In all these things we are more than conquerors." The phrase "more than conquerors" points to complete and overwhelming victory. Paul was not saying that believers would never face difficulties. In fact, the surrounding passage speaks of tribulation, distress, persecution, and hardship. The message is that none of these things has the final authority over a believer who is anchored in Christ. Our victory comes "through him that loved us." We do not overcome merely through our own determination, intelligence, wealth, or physical strength. Christ's love, grace, and power are the foundation of our victory. Paul gives another reason for thanksgiving in 1 Corinthians 15:57: "God...giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ." Notice that victory is described as a gift. We receive it through Christ. This reminds us that our confidence should not be in ourselves but in the finished work and continuing power of Jesus. Being victorious does not mean that every battle will end exactly as we expect. Sometimes God changes the situation; sometimes He changes us while we walk through it. But through Christ, we can emerge stronger in faith, deeper in character, and more confident in God's faithfulness. Life may present you with situations that seem bigger than your ability. You may feel surrounded by problems or uncertain about tomorrow. Do not allow the size of the battle to make you forget the greatness of our God. Face today's challenges with faith. Pray instead of panicking. Stand on God's Word instead of surrendering to fear. Give thanks even before you see the outcome, because your confidence is in Christ. You are not fighting for victory alone—you are standing in the victory Christ has already made available to you. THE PILGRIMS GUIDE WEDNESDAY AUGUST 19, 2026 THE PEACE OF GOD A WORD FROM THE WORD: "Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid." John 14:27 NIV. The peace that the LORD Jesus speaks about here in our anchor Scripture above ideates, but not just the absence of conflict; more than that, it includes the presence of divine assurance, wholeness, and tranquility that transcends situations and circumstances. In the world system, peace is often conditional on favourable circumstances, but the peace God gives is unshakable and independent of what is happening around you. The LORD Jesus promises to leave His peace with us; that is a peace that calms the storm within, even when the storm rages without. This peace guards the hearts and minds of the believing child of God, protecting him from every aspect of anxieties, fears, and overwhelming worries. It’s a peace that provides stability to the emotions and strengthens the believer's trust in God. The world is almost filled with people who search for peace from external sources like wealth, relationships, or success; but true peace is found in God through the LORD Jesus Christ alone. When your heart is stayed and securely anchored in His presence, external disturbances and seeming upheavals cannot take away the inner peace that comes from His abiding presence within. Embrace God’s peace today, knowing it is the inheritance of those who trust in Him. As you move through today, let God’s peace rule in your heart, and trust that He is in control; and His peace will sustain you in every situation and circumstance. 🕊️ DOMINION DAILY DEVOTION ~ DAY 231 DATE: 19TH AUGUST 2026 TOPIC: UNITY COMMANDS THE BLESSING ANCHOR SCRIPTURE: Psalm 133:1–3 (NKJV) 1 - Behold, how good and how pleasant it is For brethren to dwell together in unity!2 - It is like the precious ointment poured on the head, that ran down on the beard, even the beard of Aaron [the first high priest], that came down upon the collar and skirts of his garments [consecrating the whole body].3 - It is like the dew of Hermon, Descending upon the mountains of Zion; For there the LORD commanded the blessing-- Life forevermore. Devotional message: Yesterday, we saw that embracing our uniqueness brings order, order produces peace, and peace creates an environment for unity. Today, we see another powerful truth: unity creates an atmosphere where God commands His blessing. The Psalmist declares how good and pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity. He then reveals something significant: “For there the LORD commanded the blessing.” Notice that the blessing was commanded where brethren were dwelling together in unity. God delights when His people walk together in love, honour one another, acknowledge one another's contribution, and function according to the grace He has given each person. Unity does not mean that everyone has the same gift, personality, assignment, or function. Rather, it means that our differences do not divide us because we recognize that we belong to one body and serve one Lord. When the Church embraces this principle, competition gives way to cooperation, jealousy gives way to honour, confusion gives way to order, and division gives way to unity. And where God commands His blessing, His presence becomes evident among His people. The blessing of God is not limited to spiritual manifestations alone. God's desire is that His people experience His goodness in every dimension of life according to His will—spiritually, materially, relationally, and in the work He has entrusted to them. The blessing is ultimately connected to God's presence. Psalm 133 presents the blessing as flowing from the place where God is pleased to dwell among His people. Where there is genuine unity, love, and harmony, there is an atmosphere that honours God. This is why the enemy continually seeks to introduce division into the Church. He understands that a divided house loses strength, but a united people become a powerful testimony of the Gospel. Jesus Himself prayed:John.17.21 that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me. (NKJV) Therefore, child of God, do not allow differences in gifts, positions, backgrounds, or responsibilities to become reasons for division. Honour the grace upon another person's life. Take your rightful place. Serve faithfully. Celebrate the success of others. Walk in love. When every member functions according to the grace God has given them and everyone honours the contribution of others, the Church becomes orderly, peaceful, and united—and God is glorified in the midst of His people. Prayer Heavenly Father, thank You for the blessing of belonging to the body of Christ.Let there be order, peace, love, and unity among Your people. TODAY'S KINGDOM INSIGHTS: SERMON TOPIC: WHEN TRUTH MEETS GRACE. Main Text: John 1:14, 17 «“And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us... full of grace and truth.” — John 1:14» «“For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.” — John 1:17» TWO SIDES OF THE CROSS. There are two dangerous extremes in Christianity. One says, “Tell people the truth, no matter how you hurt them.” The other says, “Just show them love; don't confront anything.” But Jesus did something greater. Jesus was full of grace AND truth. Truth without grace can become harshness. Grace without truth can become compromise. Truth tells us what is wrong. Grace shows us that we can be made right. Truth exposes the wound; grace brings healing to the wound. Truth says, “You have sinned.” Grace says, “There is forgiveness.” Truth says, “You must change.” Grace says, “God will help you change.” Truth reveals our condition. Grace reveals God's compassion. That is what happens when truth meets grace. 1. TRUTH REVEALS WHAT GRACE COMES TO HEAL John 8:32 — “And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” Truth is not always comfortable, but it is necessary. A doctor cannot treat a sickness that the patient refuses to acknowledge. In the same way, we cannot experience spiritual transformation while continually denying our spiritual condition. The Word of God tells us: - If we are living in sin, truth calls it sin. - If we are walking in bitterness, truth exposes it. - If pride is controlling us, truth confronts it. - If unforgiveness has taken root, truth reveals it. But God does not reveal our condition to destroy us. He reveals it so that His grace can transform us. Spiritual Insight Conviction is not rejection. When the Holy Spirit shows you something that needs to change, He is not saying, “I have abandoned you.” He is saying, “I love you too much to leave you like this.” 2. GRACE DOES NOT CANCEL TRUTH. One of the greatest misunderstandings about grace is that grace means God does not care about our behavior. That is not biblical. Romans 6:1–2 asks: «“Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? God forbid.”» Grace does not give us permission to remain in sin. Grace gives us power to overcome sin. A person who truly encounters grace does not say: «“Because God forgives me, I can do whatever I want.”» Instead, he says: «“Because God has forgiven me, I want to live differently.”» Grace does not lower God's standard. Grace gives us the strength to pursue God's standard. 3. TRUTH WITHOUT LOVE CAN PUSH PEOPLE AWAY Ephesians 4:15 teaches us to speak the truth in love. Notice that Scripture does not say: “Speak truth anyhow.” It says: “Speak the truth in love.” There are people who are correct in what they say but wrong in how they say it. You can win an argument and lose a soul. You can prove someone wrong and still fail to show them Christ. Jesus never compromised truth, but He also never treated broken people as worthless. Biblical Example: The Woman Caught in Adultery Read John 8:1–11. The religious leaders brought a woman caught in adultery before Jesus. They wanted judgment. Jesus gave her something greater than condemnation—an opportunity for transformation. He did not say: «“What you did doesn't matter.”» Neither did He say: «“You are hopeless.”» Jesus told her: “Go, and sin no more.” That is truth and grace working together. Grace did not approve her sin. Grace gave her a future beyond her sin. 4. JESUS IS THE PERFECT MEETING POINT OF TRUTH AND GRACE John 1:14 says Jesus was: «“full of grace and truth.”» Not half grace and half truth. Full of grace. Full of truth. Jesus could look at Zacchaeus and say, “Come down.” Then He could enter his house and bring salvation. Jesus could confront Peter's failure and still restore Peter to ministry. Jesus could confront Thomas's doubt and still invite him closer. Jesus could confront Saul's persecution of the Church and transform him into Paul, a powerful apostle. This is the Gospel: God does not ignore our brokenness, but neither does He abandon us because of it. At the cross, truth and grace met. Truth declared: Sin must be judged. Grace declared: God Himself will provide the sacrifice. And Jesus became that sacrifice. 5. WE MUST LEARN TO LIVE WITH BOTH TRUTH AND GRACE As Christians, we must become people who carry both. In our homes Tell your children the truth, but correct them with love. In the church Teach holiness, but never make struggling people feel that restoration is impossible. In relationships Be honest, but do not use honesty as an excuse for cruelty. On social media Stand for biblical truth, but do not become known for insulting people. In evangelism Tell people about sin, judgment, repentance and holiness—but also tell them about the mercy, forgiveness and salvation found in Jesus Christ. The goal is not merely to expose people. The goal is to lead people to Christ. REAL-LIFE PICTURE: THE MIRROR AND THE SOAP Imagine someone standing before a mirror with a dirty face. The mirror shows the dirt. But the mirror cannot wash the face. That is what truth does. Truth shows us who we are and where we have fallen. But then grace comes like water and soap. Grace says: “You don't have to remain this way.” The mirror is necessary. The washing is necessary. Truth and grace belong together. DEEP SPIRITUAL INSIGHTS 1. Truth without grace produces condemnation. People may know they are wrong but believe they are beyond redemption. 2. Grace without truth produces deception. People may feel comfortable while continuing in destructive patterns. 3. Truth brings conviction; grace brings restoration. The Holy Spirit exposes sin so that Christ can restore the sinner. 4. Grace is not God's approval of our past. Grace is God's invitation into a transformed future. 5. Mature Christianity knows how to confront without destroying. Spiritual maturity is not merely knowing Scripture. It is knowing how to apply Scripture with the character of Christ. PRACTICAL ACTION STEPS This week: 1. Allow God's truth to examine you. Read Psalm 139:23–24 and ask God to reveal areas that need correction. 2. Stop using grace as an excuse. Identify one habit or attitude that God is calling you to surrender. 3. Correct someone with love. If confrontation is necessary, pray first. Speak truth without humiliation. 4. Forgive someone who has failed you. Remember the grace you have received from God. 5. Share the Gospel with someone. Tell them both the truth about sin and the good news of salvation through Christ. 6. Examine your social media behavior. Before posting or commenting, ask: “Am I representing Christ, or am I merely trying to win an argument?” QUESTIONS FOR REFLECTION 1. Do I usually emphasize truth while neglecting grace? 2. Do I use grace as an excuse to tolerate sin? 3. Can people see the character of Christ in the way I correct them? 4. Is there an area of my life where God is asking me to change? 5. Have I received God's grace personally, or am I only talking about it? 6. Who needs truth from me today? 7. Who needs grace from me today? POWERFUL PRAYER POINTS 1. Father, give me the courage to accept Your truth, even when it confronts me. 2. Lord Jesus, deliver me from every attitude that uses grace as an excuse for sin. 3. Holy Spirit, teach me to speak the truth in love. 4. Father, heal every area of my life that Your truth has exposed. 5. Lord, give me grace to forgive those who have hurt me. 6. Father, remove pride, bitterness, hypocrisy and self-righteousness from my heart. 7. Lord Jesus, make my life a testimony of both holiness and compassion. 8. Let everyone who encounters me encounter something of the character of Christ. 9. Father, give me wisdom to know when to confront, when to correct, when to forgive and when to remain silent. 10. Lord, let Your truth set me free and let Your grace transform me completely. COME TO JESUS Perhaps truth has exposed something in your life today. Do not run from it. Run to Jesus. Maybe you have failed. Grace is still available. Maybe you have wandered away. Grace is calling you home. Maybe you have been hiding behind religious activity while your heart is far from God. Truth is calling you back. Maybe you have been using grace to justify what God has asked you to surrender. Truth is calling you to repentance. And perhaps you have been condemning yourself because of your past. Grace is telling you that your story is not over. At Calvary, truth and grace met. Your sin was serious enough to require the cross. But God's love was great enough to provide the cross. So today, do not choose between truth and grace. Receive both. Let truth correct you. Let grace restore you. Let truth make you honest. Let grace make you humble. Let truth lead you to repentance. Let grace lead you into restoration. And above everything else— LET JESUS CHRIST BE THE PLACE WHERE TRUTH AND GRACE MEET IN YOUR LIFE. FINAL DECLARATION “I will not run from God's truth, and I will not abuse God's grace.
