• Obey God Even When It’s Difficult (John 14:15)

It is easy to say that we love God.

But Jesus connected love with something very practical:

    Obedience.

    He said:

“If you love me, keep my commands.”

That can be challenging because obedience isn't always convenient.

Sometimes God asks us to forgive when we would rather hold a grudge.

To tell the truth when lying would be easier.

To walk away from temptation when everyone else is participating.

To wait when we desperately want to move forward.

To love people who don't treat us well.

To give when keeping everything for ourselves feels safer.

To choose God's way when our own way seems more attractive.

Following Jesus isn't simply about agreeing with Him.

It is about allowing His Word to change the way we live.

There will be moments when you know what the right thing is, but doing it will cost you something.

That's where genuine faith becomes visible.

Anyone can say, “I trust God,” when everything is going well.

    But obedience says:

“I trust God even when I don't understand.”

    Think about Abraham.

God called him to leave his homeland and go where He would show him.

Abraham didn't have the entire journey mapped out.

    He simply responded in faith.

    Think about Noah.

God gave him an instruction that probably seemed strange to everyone around him.

    But Noah obeyed.

    Think about Mary.

She accepted God's calling even though it would completely change her life.

And above all, look at Jesus.

In the garden of Gethsemane, Jesus faced the suffering of the cross and prayed to the Father.

    He chose the Father's will.

His obedience led Him to the cross, where He gave His life for our salvation.

That is the heart of the Gospel.

Jesus didn't simply tell us to obey God.

    He demonstrated complete obedience Himself.

Because of His sacrifice, we can receive forgiveness and reconciliation with God.

So when God asks you to do something difficult, remember that obedience isn't about earning His love.

We obey because He has already loved us.

Grace doesn't give us permission to ignore God.

Grace transforms our hearts so that we want to follow Him.

Maybe God has already shown you something you need to change.

Maybe you know you need to apologize.

Maybe you need to end a relationship that is pulling you away from Christ.

Maybe you need to stop a habit that is damaging your walk with God.

    Maybe you need to forgive.

Maybe you need to start serving.

Maybe you need to surrender your future to Him.

Whatever it is, don't keep asking God for a different instruction simply because the first one is uncomfortable.

    Pray for courage.

    Ask for wisdom.

    Then obey.

You don't need to see the entire outcome before taking the next faithful step.

Sometimes obedience begins with one simple “Yes, Lord.”

    And remember:

Delayed obedience is still disobedience when we knowingly refuse to do what God has called us to do.

Don't allow fear, pride, comfort, or people's opinions to keep you from following Christ.

The world may not always understand your choices.

    That's okay.

Your goal isn't to impress the world.

Your goal is to honour God.

Love God with your words, but demonstrate that love through your obedience.

    Today, ask yourself:

“Is there something God has been asking me to do that I have been avoiding?”

If there is, don't run from it.

    Bring it to God.

    Take the next step.

    Trust Him.

    Obey Him.

And leave the results in His hands.

One obedient step can change the direction of your life.

    DATE: WEDNESDAY 19TH AUGUST 2026

    TOPIC: GOD'S COVENANT OF PROTECTION

    MEMORIZE:
"For I, saith the LORD, will be unto her a wall of fire round about, and will be the glory in the midst of her." Zechariah 2:5 (KJV)

    BIBLE READING: PSALM 91:1-16
1 He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

2 I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.

3 Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.

4 He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.

    5 Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;

6 Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.

7 A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.

8 Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked.

    9 Because thou hast made the Lord, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation;

10 There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.

11 For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.

12 They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.

13 Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet.

14 Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name.

15 He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him.

16 With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.

    MESSAGE:
The devil lures many people into evil covenants with the promise of protection; however, complete protection only exists in God. Romans 8:31 says, "... If God be for us, who can be against us?" Romans 8:37 further says that we are more than conquerors through Him who loves us. This means that, if you are in a covenant with God, you will not have to fight any battle, because He will always fight for you. Many times, you would have won the battle before you even realise that someone was trying to attack you.

I ran away from my village after some people threatened that they were going to 'eat me for breakfast,' and for 13 years, I could not return. However, after I met the Lord Jesus Christ, I was able to visit my village, and I even attended a wedding where I saw many of the people who had threatened to kill me through diabolical means. I was much younger in the faith at the time, so I had a lot of zeal but not much wisdom. I was asked to preach at the wedding, and I delivered a powerful sermon that hit them hard with the word of God. Some months later, those people went to the mother of the lady who got married and told her that it was her daughter's wedding that provided a platform for me to insult them. They further said that they had been waiting for an opportunity for revenge, and the opportunity had presented itself now that her daughter was pregnant. They told her, "We will see if your daughter will give birth, unless we are not the ones in charge here on earth." The lady's mother became frightened and came to me. I told her not to worry and assured her that on the day her daughter would give birth, all those who had threatened her would fall asleep. To the glory of God, things turned out exactly as I said; her daughter gave birth while those who threatened her were sleeping. The baby they swore would not be born is now a medical doctor.

Beloved, God said that He will be a wall of fire around you in today's memory verse, and anyone who chooses to confront the Consuming Fire will not live to tell the story. Never be afraid of any force, person, or situation that threatens to harm you. Cry out to God in such cases, and He will show up to defend you and give you victory.

    KEY POINT:
God is a wall of fire around those who are in a covenant with Him.

  • Good morning, brethren.
    1. Morning devotion for today.

    MD.i. MORNING TEA
    THE WORD FOR TODAY
    WEDNESDAY AUGUST 19, 2026.
    "TRUST YOUR BIBLE, IT'S TRUE!"

‘…that the writings of the prophets might be fulfilled...’ Matthew 26:56 NIV

THE DEATH, burial and resurrection of Jesus fulfilled no less than twenty-nine different Old Testament prophecies. The odds of that happening are virtually impossible! Mathematician Peter Stoner explains it this way: ‘If you were to cover the state of Texas two feet deep in pound coins, then on one, place a mark. What is the probability that a blindfolded person could, on their first attempt, select that coin? That’s the likelihood of just eight prophecies being fulfilled in one lifetime. And Jesus fulfilled twenty-nine of them in one day!’ Let’s look at some of the prophecies He fulfilled: 1) ‘…They pierced My hands and… feet’ (Psalms 22:16 NKJV). 2) ‘They divide my garments…and…cast lots’ (Psalms 22:18 NKJV). 3) ‘…in that day…I will make the sun go down at noon, and…darken the earth in…daylight’ (Amos 8:9 NKJV). Jesus predicted both His death and His resurrection. He told His critics, ‘…“Destroy this temple, and I will raise it again in three days.”…the temple he had spoken of was his body’ (John 2:19-21 NIV). Jesus orchestrated every event, including Judas’ betrayal, the high priest’s hypocrisy, and Peter’s denial. Why? ‘That the writings of the prophets might be fulfilled.’ So you can trust your Bible because it’s true. And something else is true too. God is ‘…able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine…’ (Ephesians 3:20 NIV). Note the words ‘immeasurably more.’ What seems impossible to you at the moment, is all in a day’s work for Him. So start trusting Him to work on your behalf.

*THE PRICE OF DWELLING TOGETHER IN LOVE AND UNITY*

    *TEXT:* GENESIS 33:5-15.

5 And he lifted up his eyes, and saw the women and the children; and said, Who are those with thee? And he said, The children which God hath graciously given thy servant.
6 Then the handmaidens came near, they and their children, and they bowed themselves.
7 And Leah also with her children came near, and bowed themselves: and after came Joseph near and Rachel, and they bowed themselves.
8 And he said, What meanest thou by all this drove which I met? And he said, These are to find grace in the sight of my lord.
9 And Esau said, I have enough, my brother; keep that thou hast unto thyself.
10 And Jacob said, Nay, I pray thee, if now I have found grace in thy sight, then receive my present at my hand: for therefore I have seen thy face, as though I had seen the face of God, and thou wast pleased with me.
11 Take, I pray thee, my blessing that is brought to thee; because God hath dealt graciously with me, and because I have enough. And he urged him, and he took it.
12 And he said, Let us take our journey, and let us go, and I will go before thee.
13 And he said unto him, My lord knoweth that the children are tender, and the flocks and herds with young are with me: and if men should overdrive them one day, all the flock will die.
14 Let my lord, I pray thee, pass over before his servant: and I will lead on softly, according as the cattle that goeth before me and the children be able to endure, until I come unto my lord unto Seir.
15 And Esau said, Let me now leave with thee some of the folk that are with me. And he said, What needeth it? let me find grace in the sight of my lord.

    *Timeless Truth:*
_"Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!"_ (Psalm 133:1).

    *INTRODUCTION*

Love and unity are the indispensable catalysts of human relationships that make life worthwhile. Without these two graces, life ceases to have meaning and will breed heartaches, emotional troubles, bitter enmity and rivalries, anguish of the soul and all sorts of relational problems. The fulfilment and joy of natural and spiritual families, communities, nations etc rest on love and unity. *"Behold how good and pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity"*. Satan's delight is to fuel relational problems and thereby make the earth another hell for relations. When the foundation of happy relationship and co-existence is destroyed, what shall the righteous do? The foundation of a happy and united family life of Isaac was broken and it had its toll on the children. Parental disunity and favoritism led to bitter rivalry between Esau and Jacob. The result was not a sweet experience for each member of the family. After 20 years of separation between the children, the need for peace and unity, so as to end the ugly experience became imperative. They must be commended that they did not die in that situation. They allowed God and let go of their differences. What can we learn from them about how to build the broken walls and foundation of life and unity among brethren? Read on.

    *1. Bridge the Communication Gap*

    a. The main reason Jesus came to pay the ultimate price of redemption is to break the communication barrier between man and God due to sin. Once that barrier is broken, it will be possible to break the communication barrier among fellow brethren. The fact that Jesus paid this price underscores the importance of love and unity among brethren. No man can claim to be godly without conscious and deliberate commitment to living in peace and love with fellow brethren and neighbours. A graceless person will be content with disunity and loveless relationships while true grace makes true reconciliation possible. Jacob initiated it and this shows he had grace. He first settled the problem in the spiritual realm by wrestling with God on a lonely night at Jabbok. His personal encounter with God first changed his life, blew his ego to the wind of heaven, brought a deep transformation into his life and melted his hardened heart of deception. The change must start with you. The godly who desires to live at peace and pleases God must be ready to pray through until his heart is melted with the grace to forgive, forget and fall into the love of God. Ego or self is often the main problem that must bow in order to live at peace and unity.
    b. For the first time after 20 years, Jacob opted to take the lead by asking for a face to face meeting with his estranged brother and bridge the communication gap. *"And he lifted up his eyes, and saw the women and the children; and said, Who are those with thee?"*. Take the godly initiative and step: bridge the Communication Gap. Sink all your pride, anger, hatred, bitterness and desire for revenge at the cross and take the initiative. Unknown to him, Esau, though a violent man, secretly desired peace too. It only takes one to bell the cat. Surprisingly, the God of peace that had broken Jacob at the altar of prayer and grace had also dealt with Esau too. Broken communication became mended. *"And he said, The children which God hath graciously given thy servant"*. In bringing peace to a troubled or broken relationship, there may be the need to bring a third party that is respected by both sides and has the wisdom and grace to mend relationships.

    *Question*

Are you willing to please and bridge the communication gap with someone? How do you want to demonstrate your willingness?

*2. Bind Your Character with Grace*

    a. Jacob had trained all his wives and children on how to show respect and give honour to the one who had been hurt and might be breathing out revenge and anger. It was not the time prove who was wrong or right. In reconciliation, self defence is minimized. *"Why do ye not rather accept wrong? Why not rather let yourselves suffer wrong and be deprived of what is your due? Why do you not rather take wrong?"* (1Corinthians 6:7). The crucified saint will be willing to accept blame even when he is not convinced that he is wrong for the sake of peace. This is where grace is also needed. *"Then the handmaidens came near, they and their children, and they bowed themselves"*. All the people with Jacob went humbly and bowed to their Daddy's brother. Jacob had depoisoned the hearts of his people so that they could sincerely give the needed and expected honour to Esau. The peaceful person will not be a hypocritical person who will pretend to seek for peace and unity and privately he will be poisoning the hearts of others.
    b. Humility is an essential part of living in love and unity and building again love and unity in a broken relationship. Many apologies, though may be simple, have a way of healing hurt hearts and broken bones and barriers in relationships. It takes humility to bend when the other person is standing on his points which may even be wrong and unacceptable altogether. *"The fruit of peace is shown by them which make peace"*. *"Blessed are the peace makers for they shall be called the children of GOD"*.

    *Question*

Are you willing to pay the price of love and unity so that your life receives the immeasurable blessings of obedience to God or you still want to stick to your gun and end up in perdition?

*3. Bless Your Companion With Gifts*

God paid the price of reconciliation with man by giving us the gift of Jesus Christ and all other spiritual and earthly gifts and blessings. True reconciliation must also be sealed up with exchange and acceptance of godly and helpful gifts. Jacob was smart to have prepared gifts for Esau ahead of their encounter. In fact, at first, Esau wanted to wisely reject the gifts. If he had refused, then know that the problem was only solved superficially. *"And he said, These are to find grace in the sight of my lord"*. The Scripture says, *"A man's gift maketh room for him, and bringeth him before great men"* (Proverbs 18:16). It is not how much that is affordable, but the heart of love and reconciliation that is behind it. Jacob insisted that the gift should be taken though Esau himself was well to do. *"Take, I pray thee, my blessing that is brought to thee; because God hath dealt graciously with me, and because I have enough. And he urged him, and he took it"*. Look at the choice of words of wisdom and humility of Jacob. He was not using words that will fuel the ember of hatred, but words that will calm down nerves. *"A soft answer turneth away wrath: but grievous words stir up anger"* (Proverbs 15:1). Apart from exchanging and acceptance of gifts and visits, true reconciliation will also be manifested by willingness to walk together and experience godly partnership. *"And he said, Let us take our journey, and let us go"*.

    *Question*

How genuine was your previous reconciliation with others?

    *Prayer Points*

1.Father, examine my heart, expose and remove all tendencies in me contrary to abiding in love and unity .
2.Lord, give me a definite life changing encounter like Jacob that will make me full of grace to initiate and advance peace and love in my family, church and community .
3.Make me a peacemaker and promoter of reconciliation among people .
4.Lord, visit all families with broken relationships and help all to open up to true communication and reconciliations .

*After the horrific genocide in 1994, Rwanda focused heavily on national reconciliation. The Gacaca Courts, a system of community-based justice, allowed perpetrators of the genocide to confess their crimes and ask for forgiveness, while victims could voice their suffering. The emphasis on unity and a shared vision for rebuilding the country contributed to Rwanda's remarkable recovery and the avoidance of further ethnic conflict. Although there are ongoing challenges, the national narrative of "unity and reconciliation" has continued to play a central role in Rwanda's politics and society.*

*Jacob had lived for years under the shadow of a broken relationship with his brother, Esau. Their past was filled with deceit, betrayal, and conflict. Having stolen Esau's birth right and blessing, the resultant rift was so deep that Esau had vowed to kill Jacob. After years of separation, Jacob now had to face Esau, but with trepidation and fear of retribution. However, what ensued was a stunning picture of grace and a lasting reconciliation, with no record of relapse into hostilities.*

*Their reconciliation must have been mutual. That "... Esau ran to meet him, and embraced him, and fell on his neck, and kissed him: and they wept" showed his willingness to forgive Jacob and let go of his anger and bitterness, and the pain of the past - a rare display of grace. On the other hand, Jacob exemplifies a posture of humility. His bowing before Esau, offering gifts of homage, and acknowledging his wrongs demonstrate the humility required for true reconciliation.*

*We are called to the same grace and reconciliation that Jacob and Esau experienced. Perhaps there are areas where we need to humble ourselves and seek forgiveness. We are called to extend grace, even when the hurt is deep.*

The Bible refers to John the Baptist as the forerunner who came to prepare the way for the Lord. Though John was born before Jesus, he was not greater than Jesus. In fact, John himself declared that someone greater than him would come after, and he was not even qualified to untie his shoe latchet.

This is to show the high esteem in which John rightly placed Jesus. John proclaimed the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ as the Saviour of the world. He told the people that Jesus was before him, meaning that Jesus had been before the time of creation.

John was baptizing people in River Jordan, and it was he who also baptized Jesus Christ. John did not know Jesus, but the Holy Spirit descended and stayed on Christ at His baptism. 2. Morning Prayer for today.

    MP.i. Morning Prayer

Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but Manikya Kumar one thing [I do,] forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. ⏤ Philippians 3:13-14

Prayer is the acid test of devotion. ⏤ Samuel Chadwick

O Lord, You’ve taught us through Your apostle to forget what lies behind and to reach forward to what lies ahead. Give us the grace to let go of the past and press on toward the goal of our high calling. Help us to cast aside every weight and the sins that so easily trip us up, and to run with endurance the race set before us, keeping our eyes on Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith.

This world pulls us back, holding us from aspiring heavenward. May we have the strength to resist these earthly temptations and instead be drawn toward the blessings of a heavenly life. Help us to live more and more for the things that are unseen and eternal. Earthly things, though sweet and beautiful, are temporary—like flowers that are fragrant today but wilted tomorrow. May these fleeting blessings remind us of You and turn our thoughts to You. Let us not rest in these temporary joys or build our hopes on them. Instead, teach us to rest in You and build our hopes on the enduring rock of Your eternity. Then, no matter what earthly disaster or loss comes our way, we will be safe and secure in You, our unchanging God.

As we step into the world today, fill our hearts with thoughts of Your love and grace. Go before us, lead us, and help us follow You wherever You guide. Give us wisdom to respond rightly in every situation. Grant us courage to face difficulties and overcome obstacles. And give us gentle hearts so we may be a blessing to others. We ask all this in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Good morning, brethren. 1. Morning devotion for today. MD.i. 😀🌺🌹🎁🎀💝 MORNING TEA THE WORD FOR TODAY WEDNESDAY AUGUST 19, 2026. "TRUST YOUR BIBLE, IT'S TRUE!" ‘…that the writings of the prophets might be fulfilled...’ Matthew 26:56 NIV THE DEATH, burial and resurrection of Jesus fulfilled no less than twenty-nine different Old Testament prophecies. *Timeless Truth:* _"Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!"_ (Psalm 133:1). *INTRODUCTION* Love and unity are the indispensable catalysts of human relationships that make life worthwhile. Read on. *1. Bridge the Communication Gap* a. *Question* Are you willing to please and bridge the communication gap with someone? How do you want to demonstrate your willingness? *2. Bind Your Character with Grace* a. *Question* Are you willing to pay the price of love and unity so that your life receives the immeasurable blessings of obedience to God or you still want to stick to your gun and end up in perdition? *3. Amen. https://www.youdevotion.com/daily-prayer/miller/45/morning #taptapstudio #youdevotion.

  • TODAY'S KINGDOM INSIGHTS:

    SERMON TOPIC:

    WHEN TRUTH MEETS GRACE.

    Main Text:
    John 1:14, 17

«“And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us... full of grace and truth.” — John 1:14»

«“For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.” — John 1:17»

    TWO SIDES OF THE CROSS.

There are two dangerous extremes in Christianity.
One says, “Tell people the truth, no matter how you hurt them.”
The other says, “Just show them love; don't confront anything.”
    But Jesus did something greater.
Jesus was full of grace AND truth.
Truth without grace can become harshness.
Grace without truth can become compromise.
Truth tells us what is wrong. Grace shows us that we can be made right.
Truth exposes the wound; grace brings healing to the wound.
    Truth says, “You have sinned.”
    Grace says, “There is forgiveness.”
    Truth says, “You must change.”
Grace says, “God will help you change.”
Truth reveals our condition. Grace reveals God's compassion.
That is what happens when truth meets grace.
    1. TRUTH REVEALS WHAT GRACE COMES TO HEAL
John 8:32 — “And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”
Truth is not always comfortable, but it is necessary.
A doctor cannot treat a sickness that the patient refuses to acknowledge.
In the same way, we cannot experience spiritual transformation while continually denying our spiritual condition.

The Word of God tells us:

    - If we are living in sin, truth calls it sin.
    - If we are walking in bitterness, truth exposes it.
    - If pride is controlling us, truth confronts it.
    - If unforgiveness has taken root, truth reveals it.
But God does not reveal our condition to destroy us.
He reveals it so that His grace can transform us.
    Spiritual Insight
    Conviction is not rejection.
When the Holy Spirit shows you something that needs to change, He is not saying, “I have abandoned you.”
He is saying, “I love you too much to leave you like this.”
    2. GRACE DOES NOT CANCEL
    TRUTH.
One of the greatest misunderstandings about grace is that grace means God does not care about our behavior.
    That is not biblical.
    Romans 6:1–2 asks:
«“Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? God forbid.”»
Grace does not give us permission to remain in sin.
Grace gives us power to overcome sin.
A person who truly encounters grace does not say:
«“Because God forgives me, I can do whatever I want.”»
    Instead, he says:
«“Because God has forgiven me, I want to live differently.”»
Grace does not lower God's standard.
Grace gives us the strength to pursue God's standard.
    3. TRUTH WITHOUT LOVE CAN PUSH PEOPLE AWAY
Ephesians 4:15 teaches us to speak the truth in love.
Notice that Scripture does not say:
    “Speak truth anyhow.”
    It says:
    “Speak the truth in love.”
There are people who are correct in what they say but wrong in how they say it.
You can win an argument and lose a soul.
You can prove someone wrong and still fail to show them Christ.
Jesus never compromised truth, but He also never treated broken people as worthless.

    Biblical Example:

    The Woman Caught in Adultery

    Read John 8:1–11.
The religious leaders brought a woman caught in adultery before Jesus.
    They wanted judgment.
Jesus gave her something greater than condemnation—an opportunity for transformation.
    He did not say:
    «“What you did doesn't matter.”»
    Neither did He say:
    «“You are hopeless.”»
    Jesus told her:
    “Go, and sin no more.”
That is truth and grace working together.
Grace did not approve her sin. Grace gave her a future beyond her sin.
    4. JESUS IS THE PERFECT MEETING POINT OF TRUTH AND GRACE
    John 1:14 says Jesus was:
    «“full of grace and truth.”»
Not half grace and half truth.
Full of grace. Full of truth.
Jesus could look at Zacchaeus and say, “Come down.”
Then He could enter his house and bring salvation.
Jesus could confront Peter's failure and still restore Peter to ministry.
Jesus could confront Thomas's doubt and still invite him closer.
Jesus could confront Saul's persecution of the Church and transform him into Paul, a powerful apostle.
    This is the Gospel:
God does not ignore our brokenness, but neither does He abandon us because of it.
At the cross, truth and grace met.
    Truth declared:
    Sin must be judged.
    Grace declared:
God Himself will provide the sacrifice.
    And Jesus became that sacrifice.
    5. WE MUST LEARN TO LIVE WITH BOTH TRUTH AND GRACE
As Christians, we must become people who carry both.
    In our homes
Tell your children the truth, but correct them with love.
    In the church
Teach holiness, but never make struggling people feel that restoration is impossible.
    In relationships
Be honest, but do not use honesty as an excuse for cruelty.
    On social media
Stand for biblical truth, but do not become known for insulting people.
    In evangelism
Tell people about sin, judgment, repentance and holiness—but also tell them about the mercy, forgiveness and salvation found in Jesus Christ.
The goal is not merely to expose people.
The goal is to lead people to Christ.

    REAL-LIFE PICTURE:

    THE MIRROR AND THE SOAP

Imagine someone standing before a mirror with a dirty face.
    The mirror shows the dirt.
But the mirror cannot wash the face.
    That is what truth does.
Truth shows us who we are and where we have fallen.
But then grace comes like water and soap.
    Grace says:
“You don't have to remain this way.”
    The mirror is necessary.
    The washing is necessary.
    Truth and grace belong together.

    DEEP SPIRITUAL INSIGHTS

    1. Truth without grace produces condemnation.
People may know they are wrong but believe they are beyond redemption.
    2. Grace without truth produces deception.
People may feel comfortable while continuing in destructive patterns.
    3. Truth brings conviction; grace brings restoration.
The Holy Spirit exposes sin so that Christ can restore the sinner.
    4. Grace is not God's approval of our past.
Grace is God's invitation into a transformed future.
    5. Mature Christianity knows how to confront without destroying.
Spiritual maturity is not merely knowing Scripture.
It is knowing how to apply Scripture with the character of Christ.

    PRACTICAL ACTION STEPS

    This week:

    1. Allow God's truth to examine you.
Read Psalm 139:23–24 and ask God to reveal areas that need correction.
    2. Stop using grace as an excuse.
Identify one habit or attitude that God is calling you to surrender.
    3. Correct someone with love.
If confrontation is necessary, pray first. Speak truth without humiliation.
    4. Forgive someone who has failed you.
Remember the grace you have received from God.
    5. Share the Gospel with someone.
Tell them both the truth about sin and the good news of salvation through Christ.
    6. Examine your social media behavior.
    Before posting or commenting, ask:
“Am I representing Christ, or am I merely trying to win an argument?”

    QUESTIONS FOR REFLECTION

    1. Do I usually emphasize truth while neglecting grace?
    2. Do I use grace as an excuse to tolerate sin?
    3. Can people see the character of Christ in the way I correct them?
    4. Is there an area of my life where God is asking me to change?
    5. Have I received God's grace personally, or am I only talking about it?
    6. Who needs truth from me today?
    7. Who needs grace from me today?

    POWERFUL PRAYER POINTS

    1.
Father, give me the courage to accept Your truth, even when it confronts me.
    2.
Lord Jesus, deliver me from every attitude that uses grace as an excuse for sin.
    3.
Holy Spirit, teach me to speak the truth in love.
    4.
Father, heal every area of my life that Your truth has exposed.
    5.
Lord, give me grace to forgive those who have hurt me.
    6.
Father, remove pride, bitterness, hypocrisy and self-righteousness from my heart.
    7.
Lord Jesus, make my life a testimony of both holiness and compassion.
    8.
Let everyone who encounters me encounter something of the character of Christ.
    9.
Father, give me wisdom to know when to confront, when to correct, when to forgive and when to remain silent.
    10.
Lord, let Your truth set me free and let Your grace transform me completely.

    COME TO JESUS

Perhaps truth has exposed something in your life today.
    Do not run from it.
    Run to Jesus.
    Maybe you have failed.
    Grace is still available.
    Maybe you have wandered away.
    Grace is calling you home.
Maybe you have been hiding behind religious activity while your heart is far from God.
    Truth is calling you back.
Maybe you have been using grace to justify what God has asked you to surrender.
Truth is calling you to repentance.
And perhaps you have been condemning yourself because of your past.
Grace is telling you that your story is not over.
At Calvary, truth and grace met.
Your sin was serious enough to require the cross.
But God's love was great enough to provide the cross.
So today, do not choose between truth and grace.
    Receive both.
    Let truth correct you.
    Let grace restore you.
    Let truth make you honest.
    Let grace make you humble.
Let truth lead you to repentance.
Let grace lead you into restoration.
    And above everything else—

LET JESUS CHRIST BE THE PLACE WHERE TRUTH AND GRACE MEET IN YOUR LIFE.

    FINAL DECLARATION

“I will not run from God's truth, and I will not abuse God's grace. I will walk in truth, live by grace, speak the truth in love, and become more like Jesus every day. Amen!”

  • A lot of churches are doing incredible work in their communities, but their website does not always show it.

When someone hears about your church for the first time, one of the first things they will do is look you up online.

Can they quickly understand who you are, what you believe, where you meet, and how to get in touch?

That is where we can help.

We build clean, modern websites for churches and ministries that make it easier for people to learn about your ministry and take the next step.

If you are a pastor, ministry leader, or church administrator and you feel like your website could do a better job representing your ministry, I would love to connect.

  • SERMON TITLE: "Hear the Son in the Last Age"
    Key Texts: Hebrews 1:1-2, John 3:30, Acts 26:16, Joel 2:28-31, Revelation 1:1, Proverbs 29:18

    INTRODUCTION
We are in the last days. Hebrews 1:2 — “in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son.”

God showed me 3 VISIONS: Red 7 in the sky, Green 7 on the wall, then a skeleton.
But I’m not here to make you stare at visions. I’m here as a servant to do 2 things:
    Feed His sheep with truth
Testify to what I have seen Him — Acts 26:16

And the one point is: John 3:30 — “He must increase, but I must decrease.”
So today: Don’t look at the sign. Hear the Son.

    1. HEAR THE SON: GOD IS SPEAKING NOW
Joel 2:28 — “I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh; your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your young men shall see visions, your old men shall dream dreams.”
Revelation 1:1 — “The revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave him to show to his servants...”

The visions are not the message. The Son is.
RED 7 VISION in the sky = The blood of Jesus. The work is finished. The time is complete.

GREEN 7 VISION on the wall = Life from the Spirit. God wants to restore His house.

SKELETON VISION= What’s left when we ignore the Son. Death. Ezekiel 37:11

Proverbs 29:18 — “Where there is no prophetic vision the people cast off restraint, but blessed is he who keeps the law.”
God gives vision so we don’t wander. But the vision’s purpose is to bring us back to the Word and to obey the Son.

If we chase the vision and miss the Voice, we miss everything.

    2. SPIRITUAL RENEWAL + REVIVAL: COME BACK TO THE WORD
Joel 2:29 — “Even on the male and female servants in those days I will pour out my Spirit.”

Revival is not hype. It’s when the Spirit brings us back to Jesus.
Psalm 51:10 — “Renew a right spirit within me.”
The Spirit’s job is to testify of Christ. John 15:26

So when God speaks through visions, He’s saying: “Come back to My Word. Come back to My Son.”

    3. REPENTANCE + OBEDIENCE = LIFE + PURITY AS WE WAIT
Joel 2:31 — “before the great and awesome day of the Lord comes.”
The day is near. So what do we do?

Acts 3:19 — “Repent therefore, and turn back, that your sins may be blotted out.”
John 14:23 — “If anyone loves me, he will keep my word.”
1 Peter 1:15-16 — “be holy in all your conduct, for I am holy.”
1 John 3:3 — “everyone who thus hopes in him purifies himself as he is pure.”

We wait for Jesus not by watching the sky, but by washing in the Word and walking in obedience.
Matthew 24:44 — “Therefore you also must be ready, for the Son of Man is coming...”

    4. THE WITNESS: DECREASE SO HE INCREASES
Am Reagan a servant & a witness of Jesus appointed by Jesus himself to feed his sheep with truth of His revelation ( word) & warning from visions He showed to last age.

And to testify of the things ( visions)Has shown me unto living ones in this last age.
Acts 26:16 — “appoint you as a servant and witness to the things in which you have seen me.”

My calling is not a title. It’s to testify.
And the testimony must always end at the cross.
Revelation 19:10 — “The testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.”

    CLOSING CALL + PRAYER
Don’t leave here talking about Red 7 or Green 7.
Leave here with one question answered: Have I heard the Son and obeyed Him?

    Prayer:
    Father, speak. We are listening.
Forgive us for chasing signs and missing You.
Pour Your Spirit. Renew us. Give us repentant hearts and obedient feet.
Wash us and make us pure as we wait for Jesus.
Let Jesus increase in us. In His Name, Amen. Revelation 22:20

    Summary to Remember
Visions → to get our attention
The Son → to get our obedience

Proverbs 29:18 — Without God’s vision people run wild. But with His vision we keep His law and we are blessed.
SERMON TITLE: "Hear the Son in the Last Age" Key Texts: Hebrews 1:1-2, John 3:30, Acts 26:16, Joel 2:28-31, Revelation 1:1, Proverbs 29:18 INTRODUCTION We are in the last days. Hebrews 1:2 — “in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son.” God showed me 3 VISIONS: Red 7 in the sky, Green 7 on the wall, then a skeleton. But I’m not here to make you stare at visions. I’m here as a servant to do 2 things: Feed His sheep with truth Testify to what I have seen Him — Acts 26:16 And the one point is: John 3:30 — “He must increase, but I must decrease.” So today: Don’t look at the sign. Hear the Son. 1. HEAR THE SON: GOD IS SPEAKING NOW Joel 2:28 — “I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh; your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your young men shall see visions, your old men shall dream dreams.” Revelation 1:1 — “The revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave him to show to his servants...” The visions are not the message. The Son is. RED 7 VISION in the sky = The blood of Jesus. The work is finished. The time is complete. GREEN 7 VISION on the wall = Life from the Spirit. God wants to restore His house. SKELETON VISION= What’s left when we ignore the Son. Death. Ezekiel 37:11 Proverbs 29:18 — “Where there is no prophetic vision the people cast off restraint, but blessed is he who keeps the law.” God gives vision so we don’t wander. But the vision’s purpose is to bring us back to the Word and to obey the Son. If we chase the vision and miss the Voice, we miss everything. 2. SPIRITUAL RENEWAL + REVIVAL: COME BACK TO THE WORD Joel 2:29 — “Even on the male and female servants in those days I will pour out my Spirit.” Revival is not hype. It’s when the Spirit brings us back to Jesus. Psalm 51:10 — “Renew a right spirit within me.” The Spirit’s job is to testify of Christ. John 15:26 So when God speaks through visions, He’s saying: “Come back to My Word. Come back to My Son.” 3. REPENTANCE + OBEDIENCE = LIFE + PURITY AS WE WAIT Joel 2:31 — “before the great and awesome day of the Lord comes.” The day is near. So what do we do? Acts 3:19 — “Repent therefore, and turn back, that your sins may be blotted out.” John 14:23 — “If anyone loves me, he will keep my word.” 1 Peter 1:15-16 — “be holy in all your conduct, for I am holy.” 1 John 3:3 — “everyone who thus hopes in him purifies himself as he is pure.” We wait for Jesus not by watching the sky, but by washing in the Word and walking in obedience. Matthew 24:44 — “Therefore you also must be ready, for the Son of Man is coming...” 4. THE WITNESS: DECREASE SO HE INCREASES Am Reagan a servant & a witness of Jesus appointed by Jesus himself to feed his sheep with truth of His revelation ( word) & warning from visions He showed to last age. And to testify of the things ( visions)Has shown me unto living ones in this last age. Acts 26:16 — “appoint you as a servant and witness to the things in which you have seen me.” My calling is not a title. It’s to testify. And the testimony must always end at the cross. Revelation 19:10 — “The testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.” CLOSING CALL + PRAYER Don’t leave here talking about Red 7 or Green 7. Leave here with one question answered: Have I heard the Son and obeyed Him? Prayer: Father, speak. We are listening. Forgive us for chasing signs and missing You. Pour Your Spirit. Renew us. Give us repentant hearts and obedient feet. Wash us and make us pure as we wait for Jesus. Let Jesus increase in us. In His Name, Amen. Revelation 22:20 Summary to Remember Visions → to get our attention The Son → to get our obedience Result → Awakening, Renewal, Repentance, Purity, Readiness Proverbs 29:18 — Without God’s vision people run wild. But with His vision we keep His law and we are blessed.

  • People want the law. It's natural for us. It just seems, to our reasoning, that we need it. We think it might be good for us. We think it's a good medicine. Legalism seems like a pill we should take, but the law is a big pill. In fact, it's too big for us to swallow. "Oh well," our logic comes up with the solution, "I know. I'll cut it up into smaller pieces. Pieces that will still be good for me, but pieces I'm able to take."

So, religious people sliced and diced the law up in their pill cutter-like brains and came up with sections that they labeled "civil law," "ceremonial law" and "moral law." God gave the law. All 613 commandments. It was people who cut it up.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗹𝗮𝘄 𝗶𝘀𝗻'𝘁 𝗺𝗲𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗲 𝗱𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝘀𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀. 𝗜𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗲 𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗯𝗶𝗴 𝗹𝘂𝗺𝗽.

Even the most legalistic people though think that they don't have to take the ceremonial lump. To them, all they need is the moral part. It only has ten commandments, after all.

Oh, maybe they sort through the bigger pieces they sliced off and pick out some other small bits they can take off of one of the big chunks. Some think that they should still abide by the dietary laws, and they decide that they shouldn't eat "unclean foods." Some think they should still honor feast days. Some cut off a little of the regulations for daily living as something they can swallow.

The pill of the law brings with it some negative side effects. It causes bitterness and divisiveness and pride. People on the pill of the law can be angry and out of their mouths comes vitriol and disgust, especially to those that disagree with their doctrine. I’m left wondering … where is the fruit of the Spirit demonstrated here? Where at least is Christian love and compassion?

Praise God we believers are free and no longer burdened like those under the law.

The weight of their own guilt and condemnation causes them to be disgruntled, angry, hostile, and unable to show the love that believers ought to demonstrate. You see? If you're going to take the pill, you need the entire dose... not smaller, more palitable, easier to take sections. If you even miss one crumb of it, you are completely in the wrong and will experience the negative side effects.
