    Extending Grace
The king said, is there not still someone of the house of Saul to whom I may show the [unfailing, unsought, unlimited] mercy and kindness of God? Ziba replied, Jonathan has yet a son who is lame in his feet. 2Samuel 9:3 (AMP)

The grace of God has a vertical significance as a gift from Him. And like the Cross of Christ, there is also horizontal grace – our extending it to others. When we remind ourselves always of where God has brought us from, to where we are, we easily allow Him to take another person through us.

Mephibosheth has zero personal appeal; but David stooped in grace. Like the late pastor and Bible scholar Donald Barnhouse said: “Love that goes upward is worship; love that goes outward is affection; love that stoop is grace.” To show grace is to extend favour or kindness to one who doesn’t deserve it and can never earn it. This is your day.

Wisdom Fountain: "Be graceful in everything; in anger, in sadness, in joy, in kindness, in unkindness, retain grace with you!"
Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank You for the boundless grace You constantly pour into my life. As You have forgiven and accepted me, please grant me the strength and compassion to extend that same unearned grace, mercy, and patience to the people around me in Jesus’ name.

27 to the pure you show yourself pure, but to the devious you show yourself shrewd.

  • 🕊 DOMINION DAILY DEVOTION ~ DAY 285
    DATE: 12TH OCTOBER,2025
    TOPIC: OVERCOMING SPIRITUAL WEARINESS
ANCHOR SCRIPTURE: 2 Samuel 17:2 (KJV)
“And I will come upon him while he is weary and weak handed, and will make him afraid: and all the people that are with him shall flee; and I will smite the king only.”
    Devotional Message:

Weariness is a profound state of physical, mental, or spiritual exhaustion that comes as a result of labor, struggles, or emotional burdens. The enemy understands this principle very well — he will never attack you when you are strong; he always waits until you are weary.

In our anchor scripture, Ahithophel advised Absalom to attack David when he was weary, knowing that would be the moment of his greatest vulnerability. This is a revelation that the devil also applies against believers today. He patiently waits until your strength — whether physical, emotional, or spiritual — is drained before launching his attacks.

Spiritual weariness often arises when we serve God continually without taking time to recharge our spiritual battery through prayer and the Word. Even Jesus demonstrated this truth when the woman with the issue of blood touched Him and virtue left Him. This teaches us that while ministering — whether preaching, teaching, healing, or interceding — virtue flows out, and therefore, we must retreat into the secret place to refill.

Weariness can also come when we try to carry the burdens of life on our own rather than casting them upon Christ. Jesus clearly invites us in Matthew 11:28–29, “Come unto Me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” Holding onto bitterness, unforgiveness, or hatred will also drain your spiritual energy and make you vulnerable to the enemy’s traps of lust, depression, or even despair.

The prophet Isaiah gives us the divine remedy: “But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength.” (Isaiah 40:31). Waiting upon the Lord in prayer, worship, fasting, and meditation on His Word renews your spiritual strength and keeps you victorious.

Child of God, after every ministry engagement, task, or life challenge, take time to go back to the secret place. That’s where you are refilled, refreshed, and re-energized to continue your assignment with power. Never allow weariness to open a door for the enemy. Stay renewed daily through fellowship with God.

    PRAYER:

Father, thank You for being my source of strength. Help me to always return to You for renewal and refreshing. Deliver me from the trap of weariness, and empower me to rise above every weakness and attack of the enemy. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

    *EXHORTATION*
Good morning, good afternoon, good evening and welcome to yet another wonderful day with the father of all life your own father Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit is using our today's topic to encourage someone.ALWAYS BE HUMBLE TO ACKNOWLEDGE YOUR ERRORS. As a child of God it is always good to be humble enough to acknowledge your errors when you make them. The reason many people fall from grace or a hardened by sin is the fact that even in error they still feel proud and see no reason to repent. But this was not the attitude of David. Do you know David was confronted with his errors alone by the prophet Nathan. David as king could have simply held Nathan and put him in jail and for confronting him as king and he will move on without any opposition? Yes he could have done that. He had the military as king that was power. But he feared God more than anything he was humble enough despite the fact that the prophet spoke what only him alone knows. He break immediately and said according to our text " I have sinned against the Lord". That is the attitude of someone who wants to go far with God. How do you behave even after being confronted by the Holy Spirit on what you deed that was not right ? The Holy Spirit is calling on someone do you justify yourself or do you acknowledge the fact that you were wrong ? God wants to draw someone close again that is why he is speaking to you like this. If we can have a humble heart that acknowledges wrong very fast then we will never be harden by sin. The reason why many are hardened and find excuses to remain like that is because we don't acknowledge errors very fast. The Holy Spirit wants someone to be reconciled to him today. You may be the one. All it takes is like David say I was wrong I sin have mercy. So long as it is from your heart God forgives. He does not just want Satan to have a place in your heart. If you can humbly do that now peace will float your heart like a river in Jesus mighty name (share with someone and follow our channel https://whatsapp.com/channel/0029VbAsLrYKGGG9D1qNoF3U)

  • 2Samuel 7 :14-15, God the father says He is our father and we are His sons, and with love and compassion he will chasten us when we go astry, He goes on to say, but His mercy and loving kindness He will not take away.

Sometimes we make mistakes and find ourselves doing or have done things that we feel the Father can not forgive, but He says today you and I are His children, His mercy, love and grace is sufficient for us no matter what we have done. Nothing can separate us from His love(Romans 8:31-39). So instead of running from Him, lets run to Him. Shalom

We frequently overlook the fact that even the tiniest, seemingly insignificant decisions we make in our lives can have lasting impacts on ourselves and those around us.

Whether it's choosing to smile at a stranger, opting for a healthier meal, or deciding to take a few moments to breathe and relax, these small choices can ripple outwards, influencing our mood, relationships, and overall well-being.

Consider how a simple act of kindness, like holding the door open for someone, can brighten their day and perhaps inspire them to do the same for another. This chain reaction of positivity can foster a more compassionate and connected community. Similarly, deciding to spend a few extra minutes each day in the Scriptures, whether through reading the Bible or listening to a sermon, can gradually transform our mindset to be more in tune with what God wants for us.
