• Many people know John 3:16, but the conversation does not stop there. In John 3:17-21, Jesus reveals the heart of the Gospel: He did not come into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him.

    https://youtu.be/yilvkDn5v_0

In this message, Patrick looks at the powerful truth that Jesus came as our Rescuer, Redeemer, and Savior. Humanity was already lost in sin, already separated from God, and already in need of rescue. But God, in His great love and mercy, sent His only Son so that we could be saved, forgiven, restored, and made whole.

This sermon walks through three important truths from John 3:17-21:

**1. Jesus Came to Save, Not Condemn**
Jesus did not come to create a problem; He came because there already was one. Sin separated mankind from God, but Christ came to rescue sinners and offer salvation through His sacrifice on the cross.

**2. Every Person Must Choose What to Do With Jesus**
Eternity is divided by one question: What have you done with Jesus Christ? Biblical faith is more than knowing facts about Jesus. True saving faith means trusting Him, relying on Him, surrendering to Him, and receiving Him as Lord and Savior.

**3. The Light Reveals What Is In Our Hearts**
Jesus is the Light of the world. His truth exposes what darkness tries to hide. Some reject the Light because they love darkness, but those who belong to God come to the Light, confess sin, repent, and walk in obedience.

This message is a reminder that the Gospel demands a response. Jesus came to save. The invitation is open. The Light is shining. Will you come to Christ?

    **Reflection Questions:**
Have you trusted Jesus Christ as your Savior?
Are there areas of darkness you are refusing to bring into the light?
Is your life moving closer to Christ or further from Him?

Jesus did not come to condemn you. He came to save you. Come to the Light. Come to Christ. Discover the grace, forgiveness, and new life that only He can give.

  • BEWARE OF TRADING OBEDIENCE WITH AMBITION

Ambition is the strong desire to achieve success, greatness, recognition, wealth, or influence.

While ambition is not inherently evil, it becomes dangerous when it causes us to disobey God. Many people start their journey with God sincerely but later allow personal desires, career goals, financial pursuits, fame, or position to replace obedience to God's will.

God blesses obedience, not selfish ambition. Whenever ambition demands that we compromise God's instructions, we must choose obedience over personal gain.

The tragedy of many believers is not that they lack ambition, but that they have traded obedience for ambition.

    1 Samuel 15:22-23 (KJV)
"And Samuel said, Hath the LORD as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams. For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry..."

What Does It Mean to Trade Obedience for Ambition?

It means placing personal desires above God's commands.

It means pursuing what you want instead of what God wants.

It means seeking success at the expense of righteousness.

    Matthew 6:33
"But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you."

God never intended ambition to lead us; His Word should lead us.

Biblical Examples of People Who Traded Obedience for Ambition

    1. King Saul

    1 Samuel 15:1-24
God instructed Saul to completely destroy the Amalekites. Instead, Saul spared King Agag and kept the best animals.

Saul's ambition to please people and appear successful caused him to disobey God.

    Result:

    He lost God's favor.

    He lost his kingdom.

    He lost his destiny.

    Lesson:
Partial obedience is complete disobedience before God.

    2. Balaam

    Numbers 22-24
Balaam knew God's instruction, but his desire for reward and honor tempted him.

    2 Peter 2:15
"...who loved the wages of unrighteousness."

    Lesson:
Greed and ambition can corrupt spiritual judgment.

    3. Judas Iscariot

    Matthew 26:14-16
Judas traded loyalty to Christ for thirty pieces of silver.

His ambition for money caused him to betray Jesus.

    Result:

    Regret

    Destruction

    Eternal shame

    Lesson:
Nothing gained through disobedience is worth losing God's presence.

Signs You Are Trading Obedience for Ambition

    1. When Success Matters More Than Faithfulness

    Luke 16:10
"He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much."

    God measures faithfulness before success.

    2. When You Ignore God's Conviction

The Holy Spirit warns believers when they are moving in the wrong direction.

    Isaiah 30:21
"And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it..."

Ignoring God's voice repeatedly hardens the heart.

    3. When You Justify Sin for Advancement

Some people lie, cheat, manipulate, or compromise because they want promotion, money, or influence.

    Proverbs 10:9
"He that walketh uprightly walketh surely."

    4. When Human Approval Becomes More Important Than God's Approval

    Galatians 1:10
"For if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ."

Many people lose their spiritual direction because they fear disappointing people.

Why Obedience Is Better Than Ambition

    1. Obedience Attracts God's Favor

    Deuteronomy 28:1-2
"And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the LORD thy God... all these blessings shall come on thee..."

    Blessings follow obedience.

    2. Obedience Preserves Destiny

    Joseph remained obedient despite temptations.

    Genesis 39:9
"How then can I do this great wickedness, and sin against God?"

His obedience eventually brought him to the palace.

    3. Obedience Brings Lasting Rewards

    John 14:23
"If a man love me, he will keep my words..."

Temporary success obtained through disobedience cannot compare with eternal rewards.

How to Protect Yourself from Ambition-Driven Disobedience

    1. Seek God's Will Daily

    Proverbs 3:5-6
"Trust in the LORD with all thine heart..."

    Always ask:
"Lord, is this Your will or merely my desire?"

    2. Develop a Heart of Submission

    James 4:7
    "Submit yourselves therefore to God."

    Submission protects us from self-will.

    3. Value Character Above Achievement

    Proverbs 22:1
"A good name is rather to be chosen than great riches..."

Your integrity is worth more than any promotion.

    4. Be Willing to Wait on God's Timing

    Habakkuk 2:3
"...though it tarry, wait for it..."

Many people compromise because they are unwilling to wait.

    The Greatest Example: Jesus Christ

    Luke 22:42
"Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done."

Jesus chose obedience over personal comfort.

    Philippians 2:8-9
"And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death..."

Because of His obedience, God highly exalted Him.

    Conclusion

Your greatest enemy is not failure; it is success obtained outside the will of God.

Ambition without obedience can destroy destiny.

Every believer must decide whether to pursue personal desires or follow God's instructions.

King Saul chose ambition and lost the kingdom.

Jesus chose obedience and gained eternal glory.

    Remember:

    Obedience is better than sacrifice.

    Obedience is better than popularity.

    Obedience is better than promotion.

    Obedience is better than ambition.

Choose God's will over personal ambition, and He will lead you into His divine purpose.

    Closing Prayer

Heavenly Father, help me never to trade obedience for ambition. Give me the grace to seek Your will above my own desires. Let my success never come at the cost of disobedience. Create in me a humble and submissive heart that delights in following You. May Your purpose be fulfilled in my life, in Jesus' name. Amen.

  • PERILOUS TIMES

We are living in a generation that perfectly reflects the prophecy concerning the last days.

Everywhere we look, there is moral decay, violence, deception, selfishness, greed, and increasing rebellion against God. The Bible calls these days "Perilous Times."

The word perilous means dangerous, difficult, stressful, fierce, and hard to endure.

Yet, God has not left His people without direction. He has given us His Word to guide us through these challenging times.

    2 Timothy 3:1-5 (KJV)

"This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away."

    What Are Perilous Times?

Perilous times are seasons characterized by:

    Spiritual decline

    Moral corruption

    Increase in wickedness

    False teachings

    Lawlessness

    Persecution of believers

    Matthew 24:12
"And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold."

Jesus warned that sin would increase, causing many people to lose their passion for God.

    Signs of Perilous Times

    1. Self-Centered Living

    2 Timothy 3:2
"For men shall be lovers of their own selves..."

Many people today are focused only on themselves, their success, and their pleasure rather than God's will.

    2. Love of Money

    1 Timothy 6:10
"For the love of money is the root of all evil..."

The pursuit of wealth has become more important to many than righteousness.

    3. Disobedience and Rebellion

    2 Timothy 3:2
    "...disobedient to parents..."

Respect for authority is diminishing in homes, churches, and society.

    4. Increase in Deception

    Matthew 24:24
"For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets..."

False doctrines and misleading teachings are spreading rapidly.

    5. Love of Pleasure Over God

    2 Timothy 3:4
"...lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God."

Many people prioritize entertainment, comfort, and worldly desires above God.

How Should Christians Live in Perilous Times?

    1. Remain Faithful to God

    Revelation 2:10
"Be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life."

Our commitment to Christ must remain strong regardless of the pressures around us.

    2. Stay in God's Word

    Psalm 119:105
"Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path."

The Word of God provides direction and protection in confusing times.

"Watch ye therefore, and pray always..."

Prayer keeps believers spiritually alert and connected to God.

    4. Walk in Holiness

    1 Peter 1:15-16
"Be ye holy; for I am holy."

God expects His children to remain pure despite a corrupt world.

    5. Do Not Fear

    Isaiah 41:10
"Fear thou not; for I am with thee..."

Even in dangerous times, God remains our refuge and strength.

    God's Promises During Perilous Times

    Psalm 91:1-2
"He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty."

God promises protection for those who trust Him.

    John 16:33
"In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world."

Jesus assures us that He has already overcome every challenge we face.

    Romans 8:37
"Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us."

Believers are not victims of perilous times; they are conquerors through Christ.

    Lessons from Perilous Times

The Bible is being fulfilled before our eyes.

    We must remain spiritually vigilant.

Holiness is more important than ever.

    Prayer is essential for survival.

    Christ's return is drawing near.

    Luke 21:28
"And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh."

    Conclusion

Perilous times are not meant to discourage believers but to prepare them.

While the world grows darker, the light of Christ should shine brighter through His people.

God is calling His church to remain faithful, prayerful, watchful, and holy.

Those who endure to the end shall receive the crown of life.

    Closing Prayer

Heavenly Father, give us wisdom, strength, and courage to stand firm in these perilous times. Help us to remain faithful to Your Word, walk in holiness, and keep our eyes fixed on Jesus. Protect us from deception and strengthen our faith until the day of Christ's return. In Jesus' mighty name, Amen.

  • THERE IS LIFE AFTER DEATH

Many people live as though death is the end of everything. They focus only on earthly success, possessions, and pleasures.

However, the Bible clearly teaches that death is not the end. There is life after death. Every human being will continue to exist eternally, either in the presence of God or separated from Him.

Death is simply a transition from this earthly life into eternity. Therefore, every person must prepare for life after death.

    Hebrews 9:27
"And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment.

    1. Jesus Confirmed That There Is Life After Death

    John 11:25-26
"Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live."

Jesus clearly taught that those who believe in Him will live even after physical death. The grave is not the end for the believer. Through Christ, eternal life is guaranteed.

    Matthew 22:31-32
"God is not the God of the dead, but of the living."

God sees His children as living, even after they leave this world.

    2. The Story of the Rich Man and Lazarus

    Luke 16:19-31
Jesus told the story of a rich man and a poor beggar named Lazarus. Both died, but their experiences after death were very different.

Lazarus was comforted in Abraham's bosom.

The rich man was in torment.

This story teaches us that consciousness continues after death. People do not cease to exist when they die.

    3. Death Is Not the End for Believers

    Philippians 1:21
"For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain."

Paul viewed death as gain because it meant entering the presence of Christ.

    2 Corinthians 5:8
"Absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord."

For believers, death means leaving the earthly body and entering God's presence.

    Revelation 14:13
"Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord."

Those who die in Christ enter a state of blessing and rest.

    4. There Will Be a Resurrection

    John 5:28-29
"All that are in the graves shall hear his voice, And shall come forth."

One day, everyone who has died will be resurrected.

    Daniel 12:2
"Many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt."

The resurrection will separate those who belong to God from those who rejected Him.

    5. There Will Be Judgment After Death

    Hebrews 9:27
"It is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment."

Every person will stand before God and give an account of their life.

    Romans 14:12
"So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God."

Our words, actions, and choices matter because eternity is real.

    6. Heaven Is Real

    John 14:2-3
"In my Father's house are many mansions... I go to prepare a place for you."

Jesus promised a real place prepared for His followers.

    Revelation 21:4
"And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying."

Heaven is a place of joy, peace, and eternal fellowship with God.

    7. Hell Is Real

    Matthew 25:46
"And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal."

The Bible teaches that hell is a place of eternal separation from God.

    Mark 9:43
"It is better for thee to enter into life maimed, than having two hands to go into hell."

God desires that no one perish, but every person must choose whether to follow Christ.

    Lessons From This Message
Death is not the end of existence.

Every person will spend eternity somewhere.

Salvation through Jesus Christ is the only preparation for eternity.

We must live each day with eternity in view.

God is calling everyone to repentance and faith in Christ.

    Call to Salvation

If you have not surrendered your life to Jesus Christ, today is the day to do so.

    Romans 10:9
"If thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved."

Receive Jesus as your Lord and Savior, repent of your sins, and follow Him faithfully. The most important preparation for life after death is a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

    Conclusion

There is life after death. The grave is not the final destination of mankind.

One day, every person will stand before God. Those who trust in Christ will enjoy eternal life in His presence, while those who reject Him will face eternal separation from God.

Therefore, live wisely, walk with God faithfully, and prepare for eternity today.

    Key Verse: John 11:25
"I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live."

THERE IS LIFE AFTER DEATH Many people live as though death is the end of everything. • Spiritual Warfare

Spiritual warfare is the unseen battle between the kingdom of God and the kingdom of darkness over the souls, minds, destinies, and spiritual lives of people. Every believer is in a spiritual battle whether they realize it or not.

The Christian life is not only about blessings, favor, and breakthroughs; it is also about standing firm against temptation, deception, sin, fear, oppression, and satanic attacks.

    The Bible says:

“For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world...” — Ephesians 6:12

Spiritual warfare is not fighting people physically. The real enemy is Satan and the forces of darkness working against God’s purpose in people’s lives.

    What Is Spiritual Warfare?

Spiritual warfare is the battle between light and darkness, truth and deception, holiness and sin, faith and fear.

    The enemy fights through:

    Temptation

    Fear

    Confusion

    Sin

    Discouragement

    False doctrine

    Bondage

    Evil habits

    Oppression

    Doubt

But Jesus has already given believers victory through His death and resurrection.

“Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.” — Romans 8:37

    The Reality of Spiritual Warfare

    1. Satan Is Real
The devil is not a myth or imagination.

“Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour.” — 1 Peter 5:8

    Satan’s mission is to:

    Steal

    Kill

    Destroy

“The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy...” — John 10:10

    2. Every Believer Is a Target

    The enemy attacks:

    Prayer life

    Faith

    Marriage

    Ministry

    Destiny

    Peace

    Spiritual growth

    Even Jesus faced spiritual attacks.

Matthew 4:1–11 — Jesus was tempted by the devil in the wilderness.

If Jesus was attacked, believers should also expect spiritual battles.

    Signs of Spiritual Warfare

    1. Constant Temptation
A believer may face repeated temptations to sin.

“Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation...” — Matthew 26:41

    2. Unusual Fear and Anxiety
The enemy uses fear to weaken faith.

“For God hath not given us the spirit of fear...” — 2 Timothy 1:7

    3. Persistent Discouragement
Sometimes the enemy attacks the mind with hopelessness and despair.

“Why art thou cast down, O my soul?... hope thou in God...” — Psalm 42:11

    4. Opposition to Spiritual Growth
Whenever someone decides to pray, fast, study the Bible, or serve God seriously, opposition may increase.

Daniel 10:12–13 shows spiritual resistance against answered prayers.

    Weapons of Spiritual Warfare

God never sends believers into battle empty-handed.

    1. The Word of God
“For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword...” — Hebrews 4:12

    Jesus defeated Satan using Scripture.

“It is written...” — Matthew 4:4

The Word of God destroys lies and strengthens faith.

    2. Prayer

    Prayer releases spiritual power.

“Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit...” — Ephesians 6:18

    Prayer:

    Breaks strongholds

    Brings divine help

    Gives spiritual strength

    Invites God’s intervention

    3. Faith

“Above all, taking the shield of faith...” — Ephesians 6:16

Faith quenches the attacks of the enemy.

Fear gives room to the enemy, but faith gives room to God.

    4. The Name of Jesus

There is authority in the name of Jesus.

“That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow...” — Philippians 2:10

Demons tremble at the name of Jesus Christ.

    5. The Blood of Jesus

“And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb...” — Revelation 12:11

    The blood of Jesus brings:

    Victory

    Cleansing

    Deliverance

    Protection

    The Armor of God

    Ephesians 6:11 says:

“Put on the whole armour of God...”

    The Armor Includes:

    1. Belt of Truth
Living honestly and according to God’s truth.

    2. Breastplate of Righteousness
    Living a holy life.

    3. Shoes of the Gospel of Peace
Being ready to spread the Gospel.

    4. Shield of Faith
    Trusting God in every situation.

    5. Helmet of Salvation
Protecting the mind from doubt and deception.

    6. Sword of the Spirit
Using the Word of God against the enemy.

    How to Win Spiritual Warfare

    1. Submit to God

“Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.” — James 4:7

Victory begins with surrender to God.

    2. Live a Holy Life

Sin opens doors to spiritual attacks.

“Neither give place to the devil.” — Ephesians 4:27

    Holiness strengthens spiritual authority.

    3. Stay Spiritually Alert

“Watch ye and pray...” — Mark 13:33

    A careless believer becomes vulnerable.

    4. Remain in Fellowship With God
    Consistent:

    Prayer

    Bible study

    Worship

    Fellowship

    These keep believers spiritually strong.

    5. Do Not Give Up

Spiritual battles may be intense, but victory belongs to God’s children.

“No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper...” — Isaiah 54:17

    Biblical Examples of Spiritual Warfare

    1. Jesus vs Satan
    Matthew 4:1–11

    Jesus overcame temptation through Scripture.

    2. Daniel’s Prayer Battle
    Daniel 10:12–13

    Spiritual resistance delayed answers.

    3. David vs Goliath
    1 Samuel 17

Physical battle with spiritual confidence in God.

    4. Paul and Silas in Prison
    Acts 16:25–26

    Prayer and praise brought deliverance.

    Dangers in Spiritual Warfare

    1. Ignorance
“My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge...” — Hosea 4:6

    2. Fear
    Fear weakens spiritual strength.

    3. Sin and Compromise
    Disobedience gives Satan legal access.

    4. Prayerlessness
A prayerless believer becomes spiritually weak.

    Encouragement for Believers

Believers are not fighting for victory; they are fighting from victory because Jesus already conquered Satan at the cross.

“These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace...” — John 16:33

“...be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.”

Christ is greater than every power of darkness.

“Greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.” — 1 John 4:4

    Conclusion

Spiritual warfare is real, but God has not left His children helpless. Through prayer, faith, holiness, the Word of God, and the power of Jesus Christ, every believer can stand victorious.

The enemy may fight, but he cannot defeat a believer who remains connected to God.

    Always remember:

    Pray continually

    Study the Word

    Walk in holiness

    Resist the devil

    Trust God completely

    Victory belongs to Jesus Christ.

    Prayer Points

Father, strengthen me against every spiritual attack in Jesus’ name.

Every power fighting my spiritual life, be destroyed in Jesus’ name.

Lord, help me to stand firm in faith and holiness.

Every spirit of fear and discouragement, leave my life in Jesus’ name.

Father, fill me with the power of the Holy Spirit.

Every satanic trap against my destiny, scatter in Jesus’ name.

Lord Jesus, teach my hands to war and my spirit to remain strong.

  • The Secret Tears God Sees!

There are tears people see, and there are tears nobody sees.

Many people smile outside but cry secretly inside. Some cry because of pain, rejection, disappointment, delay, betrayal, sickness, loneliness, poverty, or unanswered prayers.

People may ignore your pain, but God never ignores hidden tears.

The God we serve sees the tears that fall in secret places. He hears silent prayers and understands broken hearts.

    Psalm 56:8 says:

“Thou tellest my wanderings: put thou my tears into thy bottle: are they not in thy book?”

This means every tear matters to God.

    1. God Saw Hagar’s Tears in the Wilderness

    Genesis 16:7-13

Hagar was rejected and sent away. She felt abandoned and hopeless in the wilderness. But God appeared to her and comforted her.

    Hagar called God:

    “Thou God seest me.”

Even when nobody cared about Hagar, God saw her pain.

    God sees rejected people.

    God sees those suffering silently.

Your hidden tears are visible before Heaven.

    2. God Saw Hannah’s Secret Tears

    1 Samuel 1:10-20

Hannah cried bitterly because she had no child. While others misunderstood her, she poured out her soul before God.

    Verse 10 says:

“And she was in bitterness of soul, and prayed unto the LORD, and wept sore.”

God answered Hannah and changed her story.

    Secret tears can become testimonies.

Deep prayers touch the heart of God.

    God answers sincere cries.

    3. Jesus Himself Wept

    John 11:33-35

Jesus saw the sorrow surrounding Lazarus’ d€ath, and He wept.

    Verse 35:

    “Jesus wept.”

This shows that God understands human pain. Jesus is not far from our suffering.

    God understands emotional pain.

    Tears are not weakness.

    Christ feels what we feel.

    4. Some Tears Are Silent Prayers

There are moments when words fail, but tears speak.

A broken heart before God can become a powerful prayer.

Romans 8:26 teaches that the Spirit helps us when we cannot express ourselves properly.

    Sometimes:

    Your tears are prayers.

    Your silence is worship.

Your pain is speaking to Heaven.

    5. God Will Wipe Away Every Tears

    Revelation 21:4

“And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes...”

God’s final plan is not sorrow but joy, peace, victory, and eternal comfort.

No pain lasts forever for those who trust in Him.

Signs That God Has Seen Your Tears

Divine peace begins to enter your heart.

    Unexpected help appears.

    Strength comes during weakness.

    Doors begin to open.

    Your spiritual life becomes stronger.

What To Do When Crying Secretly

    1. Pray Honestly to God
Do not hide your pain from God.

    2. Trust God’s Timing
    Delay is not denial.

    3. Avoid Bitterness
Do not allow pain to turn into hatred.

    4. Hold on to Faith
God may be silent, but He is working.

    5. Stay Close to God
Pain should draw you nearer to God, not away from Him.

    Conclusion

The world may not understand your pain, but God sees every hidden tear.
He sees the tears you cry at night, the pain you hide behind smiles, and the burdens you cannot explain to people.

Your tears are not wasted. God is preparing a testimony from your pain.

    Hold on to God because:

The tears of today can become the joy of tomorrow.

The pain of today can become the testimony of tomorrow.

    Prayer Points

O Lord, let my secret tears become public testimonies in Jesus’ name.

Father, remember me in my season of pain and visit me with mercy.

Every hidden sorrow in my life, receive divine healing.

Lord, answer the prayers connected to my tears.

Father, wipe away every shame, reproach, and disappointment from my life.

O God who remembered Hannah, remember me today.

    Psalm 30:5 says:

“Weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.”

Your morning of joy will come in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Your hidden tears are visible before Heaven. 2. God Saw Hannah’s Secret Tears 1 Samuel 1:10-20 Hannah cried bitterly because she had no child. While others misunderstood her, she poured out her soul before God. Verse 10 says: “And she was in bitterness of soul, and prayed unto the LORD, and wept sore.” God answered Hannah and changed her story. Secret tears can become testimonies. Deep prayers touch the heart of God. God answers sincere cries. 3. Jesus Himself Wept John 11:33-35 Jesus saw the sorrow surrounding Lazarus’ d€ath, and He wept. Verse 35: “Jesus wept.” This shows that God understands human pain. Jesus is not far from our suffering. God understands emotional pain. Tears are not weakness. Christ feels what we feel. 4. Some Tears Are Silent Prayers There are moments when words fail, but tears speak. A broken heart before God can become a powerful prayer. Romans 8:26 teaches that the Spirit helps us when we cannot express ourselves properly. Sometimes: Your tears are prayers. Your silence is worship. Your pain is speaking to Heaven. 5. God Will Wipe Away Every Tears Revelation 21:4 “And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes...” God’s final plan is not sorrow but joy, peace, victory, and eternal comfort. No pain lasts forever for those who trust in Him. Signs That God Has Seen Your Tears Divine peace begins to enter your heart. Unexpected help appears. Strength comes during weakness. Doors begin to open. Your spiritual life becomes stronger. What To Do When Crying Secretly 1. Pray Honestly to God Do not hide your pain from God. 2. Trust God’s Timing Delay is not denial. 3. Avoid Bitterness Do not allow pain to turn into hatred. 4. Hold on to Faith God may be silent, but He is working. 5. Stay Close to God Pain should draw you nearer to God, not away from Him. Conclusion The world may not understand your pain, but God sees every hidden tear. He sees the tears you cry at night, the pain you hide behind smiles, and the burdens you cannot explain to people. Your tears are not wasted. God is preparing a testimony from your pain. Hold on to God because: The tears of today can become the joy of tomorrow. The pain of today can become the testimony of tomorrow. Prayer Points O Lord, let my secret tears become public testimonies in Jesus’ name. Father, remember me in my season of pain and visit me with mercy. Every hidden sorrow in my life, receive divine healing. Lord, answer the prayers connected to my tears. Father, wipe away every shame, reproach, and disappointment from my life. O God who remembered Hannah, remember me today. Psalm 30:5 says: “Weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.” Your morning of joy will come in Jesus’ name. Amen. • Family Evil Pattern

A family evil pattern is a repeated negative occurrence, bondage, sin, struggle, or affliction that continues from one generation to another in a family line.

These patterns may appear as poverty, untimely death, constant failure, addiction, immorality, sickness, delay, anger, broken marriages, barrenness, idol worship, or spiritual oppression.

Many people notice that the same problems their parents faced are also appearing in their own lives.

The enemy often uses these repeated cycles to keep families in bondage. But through Jesus Christ, every evil pattern can be broken.

The Bible says in John 8:36:

“If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.”

    1. Evil Patterns Can Exist in Families

In the Bible, we see repeated family problems across generations.

    Examples:
    Abraham lied about his wife.

    Isaac repeated the same error.

    Jacob also walked in deception.

Another example is Gehazi in 2 Kings 5:27, where the curse of leprosy continued upon his descendants.

    Family evil patterns may include:

    Repeated divorce

    Constant hardship

    Rising and falling

    Addiction and immoral lifestyle

    Anger and violence

    Witchcraft and idol worship

    Untimely death

    Academic failure

    Marital delay

    2. Causes of Family Evil Patterns

    A. Sin and Disobedience
Sin opens the door for bondage.

    Exodus 20:5 says:

“Visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation...”

    B. Evil Foundations

Some families have ungodly foundations through idol worship, occult involvement, bloodshed, or evil covenants.

    C. Wrong Associations and Habits

When people continue in destructive lifestyles, the pattern continues into the next generation.

    D. Ignorance

Many people do not know their spiritual authority in Christ.

    Hosea 4:6:

“My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.”

    3. Signs of Family Evil Patterns

Everyone in the family experiences similar problems.

People start well but never finish well.

    Constant disappointment at breakthrough point.

    Strange sicknesses or repeated tragedy.

    Persistent poverty despite hard work.

    Delay in marriage or childbearing.

    Repeated failure among family members.

    4. How to Break Family Evil Patterns

    A. Surrender Your Life to Christ
    Freedom begins with salvation.

    Galatians 3:13:

“Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law...”

    B. Renounce Every Evil Covenant
Reject every ungodly agreement connected to your family lineage.

    C. Live a Holy Life
Do not continue the same sinful habits that opened the door in previous generations.

    D. Engage in Prayer and Fasting
    Some battles require persistent prayer.

    E. Study and Speak the Word of God
God’s Word renews the mind and breaks spiritual bondage.

    F. Destroy Every Evil Altar
In Judges 6:25-26, Gideon destroyed his father’s altar before deliverance came.

    5. What God Can Do

    God can:

    Change your family story

    End repeated affliction

    Raise a new generation

    Restore lost glory

    Bring healing and deliverance

You can become the person God uses to stop negative cycles in your family.

    Prayer Points

Father, every evil family pattern operating in my life, be destroyed in Jesus’ name.

Every inherited bondage and curse working against my destiny, break by the blood of Jesus.

O Lord, deliver me from every evil foundation affecting my family.

Every spirit of failure, poverty, and limitation following my lineage, leave my life now.

By the power in the name of Jesus, I shall not continue negative family patterns.

Father, establish righteousness, peace, and progress in my family.

    Declarations

I am redeemed by the blood of Jesus.

Every chain of generational bondage is broken.

    I shall fulfill my destiny.

My family shall experience restoration and peace.

I walk in freedom, victory, and divine favor.

    Conclusion

Family evil patterns are real, but they are not greater than the power of God. Through salvation, prayer, obedience, and faith in Christ, every negative cycle can be broken. God is able to rewrite your family history and establish a new legacy of blessing.

  • Beware of Wrong Relationships and Spiritual Carelessness.

The story of Samson and Delilah is one of the most powerful and painful stories in the Bible.

Samson was a man chosen by God before birth, filled with extraordinary strength and divine purpose.

Yet, despite his calling, he allowed wrong desires, careless living, and dangerous relationships to destroy his destiny temporarily.

Many believers today are gifted, anointed, talented, and called by God, but like Samson, some are losing spiritual strength because of wrong associations, sinful habits, and spiritual compromise.

    The story teaches us that:

    * Great power without self-control leads to destruction.

    * Wrong relationships can weaken destiny.

    * Spiritual carelessness opens doors to downfall.

    * God is merciful and can restore the repentant.

    1. Samson Was Chosen by God

    Judges 13:3–5

Before Samson was born, God had already chosen him to deliver Israel from the Philistines. He was separated as a Nazarite unto God.

    Lessons:

    * God has a purpose for every life.

    * Your calling is precious and must be protected.

    * Divine gifts require discipline and obedience.

    * Jeremiah 1:5
    * Ephesians 2:10

    2. Samson Began to Walk Carelessly

    Judges 14:1–3

Samson continually followed his fleshly desires rather than God’s direction. He ignored wise counsel from his parents and pursued relationships that weakened his spiritual life.

    Signs of Spiritual Carelessness:

    * Ignoring godly advice

    * Living by emotions instead of wisdom

    * Playing with temptation

    * Pride in spiritual gifts

    Lessons:

Many people lose spiritual power not suddenly, but gradually through compromise.

    * Proverbs 14:12
    * 1 Corinthians 10:12

    3. Delilah Became a Trap to Samson

    Judges 16:4–17

Delilah repeatedly pressured Samson to reveal the secret of his strength. Instead of fleeing danger, Samson kept playing around temptation until he finally exposed his secret.

    Lessons About Wrong Relationships:

    * Not everyone close to you loves your destiny.

    * Some relationships drain spiritual strength.

    * Persistent temptation eventually weakens careless believers.

The enemy often attacks through what we refuse to control.

    * Proverbs 13:20
    * 2 Corinthians 6:14

    4. Samson Lost His Strength

    Judges 16:18–21

When Samson’s hair was cut, his covenant was broken, and the Spirit’s power departed from him. The Philistines captured him, blinded him, and made him a slave.

One of the saddest verses in Scripture says:

    * He did not know that the Lord had departed from him.”

    Lessons:

    * Sin blinds spiritual vision.

    * Spiritual downfall can happen silently.

    * A person may appear strong outwardly while spiritually empty.

    * Isaiah 59:1–2
    * Galatians 6:7

    5. God Restored Samson Through Repentance

    Judges 16:22–30

Though Samson failed greatly, God still showed him mercy. As his hair began to grow again, it symbolized restoration. Samson prayed sincerely, and God gave him strength one final time.

    Lessons:

    * Failure is not the end when there is genuine repentance.

    * God can restore lost glory.

    * God’s mercy is greater than human weakness.

    * Joel 2:25
    * 1 John 1:9

    # Warning Signs From Samson’s Life

    1. Do not play with temptation.

    2. Avoid relationships that pull you away from God.

    3. Protect your spiritual life.

    4. Never depend only on gifts while ignoring character.

    5. Stay prayerful and spiritually alert.

--- How to Avoid the Spirit of Delilah

    * Maintain daily prayer and Bible study.

    * Listen to godly counsel.

    * Flee from sinful temptation.

    * Choose relationships wisely.

    * Stay humble before God.

    * Guard your secrets and spiritual life.

    * Matthew 26:41
    * Psalm 119:11

    --- Conclusion

Samson was born with purpose but nearly destroyed his destiny through careless living and dangerous relationships.

Yet God’s mercy restored him when he cried out in repentance.

    This story reminds believers that:

    * Anointing alone is not enough.

    * Character matters.

    * Wrong relationships can destroy destiny.

    * God still restores those who genuinely return to Him.

Do not allow anything or anyone to separate you from God’s purpose for your life.

    --- Prayer Points

    1. Father, help me to protect my destiny and spiritual life.

    2. Lord, separate me from every harmful relationship.

    3. Give me strength to overcome temptation.

    4. Restore every good thing I have lost through carelessness.

    5. Let Your Spirit remain upon my life always.

  • Three Dangerous Traps of Believers: Food, Money, and Immorality

Believers must be careful because Satan does not always fight people with weapons; many times he fights with temptation.

Some people did not fall because of witchcraft, they fell because they could not control their appetite, their love for money, and their lustful desires.

These three things have brought down many great men and women.

The enemy knows that if he cannot stop a believer from going to church, he may try to trap that believer through food, money, or immorality.

That is why we must be watchful, prayerful, and full of the Word of God.

1 Corinthians 10:12 says, “Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall.”

    1. The Trap of Food

Food is good, but when appetite controls a man, it becomes a trap. Many people have lost spiritual power because they could not control their belly.

Genesis 25:29–34 — Esau sold his birthright because of food.

Numbers 11:4–6, 33 — The Israelites lusted after meat and provoked God.

Philippians 3:19 — “whose god is their belly.”

Matthew 4:2–4 — Satan tempted Jesus with food, but Jesus overcame.

Esau was hungry, but hunger should not have made him sell his future. One moment of uncontrolled appetite destroyed something precious in his life.

Many believers are like Esau today. They exchange glory for pleasure, destiny for appetite, and spiritual inheritance for temporary satisfaction.

    Food becomes dangerous when:

    It controls your decisions

    It weakens your prayer life

    It makes you careless spiritually

It makes you break divine instruction

Jesus was hungry in the wilderness, yet He refused to turn stones into bread outside the will of God. This teaches us that not everything we desire must be taken immediately.

A believer must not be ruled by appetite. Fasting, discipline, and self-control are important weapons.

    2. The Trap of Money
Money is necessary, but the love of money is dangerous. Money has destroyed many destinies, ministries, marriages, and testimonies.

1 Timothy 6:9–10 — The love of money is the root of all kinds of evil.

Joshua 7:20–21 — Achan was trapped by material things and brought trouble upon Israel.

2 Kings 5:20–27 — Gehazi ran after money and received leprosy.

Matthew 26:14–16 — Judas betrayed Jesus for money.

Hebrews 13:5 — Be content with what you have.

Achan saw gold, silver, and garments and could not resist them. Gehazi followed Naaman because of greed. Judas walked with Jesus, yet money captured his heart.

This shows that even people close to anointing can still fall if they do not deal with greed.

    Money becomes dangerous when:

You love it more than God

You compromise truth to get it

You cheat, lie, or betray because of it

Your heart trusts in riches instead of God

Money is a good servant but a bad master. If money rules your heart, your spiritual life is already in danger.

Believers must learn contentment, honesty, and trust in God as their source.

    3. The Trap of Immorality

Sexual sin is one of the strongest traps that destroys believers. It has brought down kings, prophets, leaders, and ministers.

Judges 16:4–21 — Samson fell through Delilah.

2 Samuel 11:1–5 — David fell with Bathsheba.

Proverbs 6:25–28 — Warning against lust.

    1 Corinthians 6:18–20 — Flee fornication.

Hebrews 13:4 — Marriage should be honored and the bed undefiled.

    1 Thessalonians 4:3–5 — God’s will is sanctification.

Samson was powerful, but he could not overcome immoral affection. David was a man after God’s heart, yet he fell when he allowed lust into his heart.

Sexual immorality does not just destroy the body, it affects the soul, the conscience, prayer life, boldness, and fellowship with God.

    Immorality becomes dangerous because:

    It weakens spiritual strength

    It destroys honor and testimony

It opens the door to shame and sorrow

It separates people from the presence of God

The Bible says, “Flee fornication”. It did not say negotiate with it. It did not say explain it. It said flee.

Run from every appearance of sexual sin. Guard your eyes, your mind, your company, and your private life.

Why These Three Traps Are Dangerous
These three traps are dangerous because they attack:

    Appetite — food

    Heart — money

    Body and purity — immorality

They look small at first, but they lead to destruction. Many believers did not fall suddenly; they fell gradually by entertaining these traps.

How Believers Can Overcome These Traps

    1. Live by the Word of God

Psalm 119:11 — “Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.”

    2. Practice Self-Control

Galatians 5:22–23 — Self-control is part of the fruit of the Spirit.

    3. Pray Always

Matthew 26:41 — “Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation.”

    4. Run Away from Temptation

    2 Timothy 2:22 — Flee youthful lusts.

    5. Be Content

Philippians 4:11–13 — Learn contentment in every situation.

    6. Fast and Discipline the Flesh

1 Corinthians 9:27 — Paul said he kept his body under control.

    7. Keep Godly Company

1 Corinthians 15:33 — Evil communication corrupts good manners.

    Conclusion

Beloved, food, money, and immorality are three dangerous traps that have brought many believers down.

There is nothing wrong with food, nothing wrong with money, and marriage is honorable, but when these things are misused, they become instruments of destruction.

Do not sell your birthright like Esau because of appetite.
Do not betray your calling like Judas because of money.
Do not lose your power like Samson because of immorality.

Stand in the fear of God. Walk in discipline. Live in purity. Let Christ be greater than your appetite, greater than greed, and greater than lust.

    Prayer Points

Father, deliver me from every trap of appetite in Jesus’ name.

Lord, remove the love of money from my heart in Jesus’ name.

Father, help me to live a life of purity and holiness in Jesus’ name.

Lord, give me power to overcome every temptation of the enemy in Jesus’ name.

Father, let me not fall away from Your presence in Jesus’ name.

Lord, strengthen me to stand till the end in Jesus’ name.

Money becomes dangerous when: You love it more than God You compromise truth to get it You cheat, lie, or betray because of it Your heart trusts in riches instead of God Money is a good servant but a bad master. If money rules your heart, your spiritual life is already in danger. Believers must learn contentment, honesty, and trust in God as their source. 3. The Trap of Immorality Sexual sin is one of the strongest traps that destroys believers. Immorality becomes dangerous because: It weakens spiritual strength It destroys honor and testimony It opens the door to shame and sorrow It separates people from the presence of God The Bible says, “Flee fornication”. It did not say negotiate with it. It did not say explain it. It said flee. Run from every appearance of sexual sin. Guard your eyes, your mind, your company, and your private life. Why These Three Traps Are Dangerous These three traps are dangerous because they attack: Appetite — food Heart — money Body and purity — immorality They look small at first, but they lead to destruction. Many believers did not fall suddenly; they fell gradually by entertaining these traps. How Believers Can Overcome These Traps 1. Live by the Word of God Psalm 119:11 — “Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.” 2. Practice Self-Control Galatians 5:22–23 — Self-control is part of the fruit of the Spirit. 3. Pray Always Matthew 26:41 — “Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation.” 4. Run Away from Temptation 2 Timothy 2:22 — Flee youthful lusts. 5. Be Content Philippians 4:11–13 — Learn contentment in every situation. 6. Fast and Discipline the Flesh 1 Corinthians 9:27 — Paul said he kept his body under control. 7. Keep Godly Company 1 Corinthians 15:33 — Evil communication corrupts good manners. Conclusion Beloved, food, money, and immorality are three dangerous traps that have brought many believers down. Prayer Points Father, deliver me from every trap of appetite in Jesus’ name. • God Is Not Talkative — Watch Your Words!

God is not careless with words. He does not speak unnecessarily. Every word that comes from God carries power, purpose, truth, and life.

I.f we claim to be His children, then our speech must also reflect wisdom, restraint, and grace. Many people destroy relationships, opportunities, testimonies, and destinies because they speak too much, too quickly, and too carelessly.

This sermon is a divine warning: watch your words.

    1. God speaks with purpose, not noise

Ecclesiastes 5:1–2 says, “Be not rash with thy mouth, and let not thine heart be hasty to utter any thing before God: for God is in heaven, and thou upon earth: therefore let thy words be few.”

God is not talkative. He is intentional. When God speaks, creation responds. When God speaks, darkness disappears. When God speaks, destinies open. God does not waste words, and He does not expect His children to be loose with their mouths.

Many people talk in anger, in pride, in gossip, in jealousy, and in foolish excitement.

But heaven is teaching us today that words must be measured. A careless mouth can produce painful consequences.

    2. Too many words can lead to sin

Proverbs 10:19 says, “In the multitude of words there wanteth not sin: but he that refraineth his lips is wise.”

When words are many, sin is near. Too much talking opens the door to:

    lies

    exaggeration

    gossip

    slander

    pride

    offense

    empty promises

A person who talks without control will eventually speak what should not be spoken. Wisdom is not in speaking plenty; wisdom is in speaking rightly.

Even some believers talk too much about their plans, secrets, battles, family matters, and spiritual experiences. Not everything should be announced. There are blessings that are safer in silence until God brings them to manifestation.

    3. Your words have power

Proverbs 18:21 says, “Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.”

Words are not empty. They carry spiritual weight. What you say repeatedly can shape your atmosphere, your confidence, your relationships, and your future.

Some people use their mouth to curse themselves:

“Nothing good can come out of my life.”

    “I will never make it.”

    “My case is different.”

“Things are always hard for me.”

Stop speaking death over your destiny. God wants you to watch your words because your tongue can either build or destroy.

    4. God will judge careless speech

Matthew 12:36–37 says, “But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment. For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.”

This is serious. Jesus said every idle word matters. Idle words are useless, careless, unprofitable, and destructive words. Many people think words disappear after speaking them, but in the sight of God, words are recorded.

    That means:

    careless jokes matter

    abusive words matter

    false accusations matter

    manipulative speech matters

    vain and proud words matter

We must repent of loose speaking. Your mouth must come under the control of the Holy Spirit.

    5. Be quick to hear, slow to speak

James 1:19 says, “Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath.”

One of the signs of maturity is not quick speaking but controlled speaking. Many troubles would have been avoided if people had paused before speaking. A single sentence spoken in anger can damage a relationship built over many years.

To be slow to speak means:

    think before answering

    pray before reacting

    calm down before responding

refuse to speak under uncontrolled emotion

Not every attack deserves a reply. Not every rumor deserves your attention. Not every provocation deserves words.

    6. Jesus is our example

1 Peter 2:23 says, “Who, when he was reviled, reviled not again; when he suffered, he threatened not; but committed himself to him that judgeth righteously.”

Jesus had power, yet He was restrained. He was insulted, yet He did not answer foolishly. He was accused, yet He did not speak in the flesh. If anyone had the right to react with words, it was Jesus. But He showed us the power of silence, self-control, and submission to the Father.

Sometimes, spiritual strength is not in what you say but in what you refuse to say.

    7. A guarded mouth preserves life

Proverbs 13:3 says, “He that keepeth his mouth keepeth his life: but he that openeth wide his lips shall have destruction.”

Your mouth can preserve your peace or destroy it. A guarded mouth helps you avoid:

    unnecessary quarrels

    broken trust

    regret

    shame

spiritual battles caused by foolish speaking

Some people are praying for deliverance while their mouth is creating new problems every day. You cannot speak carelessly and expect to live wisely.

    8. Let your speech be full of grace

Colossians 4:6 says, “Let your speech be alway with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man.”

As children of God, our words must be:

    gracious

    wise

    truthful

    healing

    timely

    seasoned

Your speech should not spread bitterness. It should minister grace. The world is already full of harshness. Let your mouth become a vessel of blessing.

    9. Silence can be wisdom

Proverbs 17:27–28 says, “He that hath knowledge spareth his words… Even a fool, when he holdeth his peace, is counted wise.”

There are times when silence is not weakness but wisdom. Silence can protect you from sin, preserve your dignity, and give God room to fight for you.

Some battles end faster when you stop talking. Some misunderstandings grow because too many words were added. Sometimes the best response is prayer, not argument.

    10. Ask God to sanctify your mouth

Psalm 141:3 says, “Set a watch, O Lord, before my mouth; keep the door of my lips.”

This should be our daily prayer. We need divine help because not every mouth problem is solved by determination alone. Some people speak out of inner anger, pain, pride, envy, or impatience. But God can purify the heart and the tongue.

When the heart is healed, the mouth becomes cleaner.
Luke 6:45 says, “For of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.”

So the issue is deeper than speech; it is also the condition of the heart.

    Conclusion

God is not talkative. He speaks with wisdom, timing, and purpose.

As His children, we must watch our words. Let your mouth not become a weapon against your destiny. Let your speech not grieve the Holy Spirit. Let your words be few, pure, wise, and full of grace.

    Before you speak, ask:

    Is it true?

    Is it necessary?

    Is it kind?

    Is it the right time?

    Will it glorify God?

A controlled tongue is a sign of spiritual maturity. A careless tongue is a danger to destiny.

    Prayer Points

Lord, set a watch over my mouth and keep the door of my lips.

Father, deliver me from careless, idle, and destructive words.

Holy Spirit, teach me to speak with wisdom, grace, and self-control.

Every negative word I have spoken against my life, I cancel it in Jesus’ name.

Lord, let my mouth become a vessel of blessing and not destruction.

Father, purify my heart so that my words will please You.

Help me to be slow to speak, slow to anger, and quick to hear.

Let every satanic trap connected to my words be destroyed in Jesus’ name.
