  • “I know that everything God does will endure forever; nothing can be added to it and nothing taken from it.”
    — Ecclesiastes 3:14

What a powerful reminder of the unshakable work of God.

So much in this world feels temporary. Plans change. Seasons shift. People disappoint. Circumstances rise and fall. What seems secure today can feel uncertain tomorrow. But the Word of God reminds us that what God does is not fragile, temporary, or incomplete.

Everything God does will endure forever.

    His purposes are eternal.
    His promises are trustworthy.
    His timing is perfect.
    His wisdom is beyond ours.
His work cannot be improved upon, undone, or overruled.

There is comfort in knowing that God is not making things up as He goes. He is not surprised by what we face. He is not limited by what we lack. He does not need our strength to accomplish His will, and He does not need our understanding in order to remain faithful.

Nothing can be added to what God has established. Nothing can be taken from what God has ordained.

    That means we can rest.

We can stop trying to control what belongs in His hands. We can stop fearing that His plan will fail. We can stop believing that our circumstances are stronger than His sovereignty. The God who began the work is faithful to complete it.

Even when we cannot see the full picture, God is still working.
Even when we do not understand the timing, God is still wise.
Even when life feels uncertain, God is still steady.
Even when everything around us changes, God remains the same.

Today, let Ecclesiastes 3:14 remind your heart that God’s work is lasting, complete, and secure. What He does endures. What He speaks stands. What He promises, He will fulfill.

Lord, help us trust what You are doing — even when we cannot see it clearly. Teach us to rest in Your sovereignty, surrender our need for control, and believe that Your purposes will stand forever.

“Many are the plans in a person’s heart, but it is the Lord’s purpose that prevails.”
    — Proverbs 19:21

  • “When you fear God, you fear nothing.”

What a simple but powerful truth.

The fear of the Lord is not about living terrified of God — it is about living in reverence, awe, surrender, and trust before Him. When God is in His rightful place in our hearts, everything else is put in its proper place.

Fear loses its power when God becomes bigger than our circumstances.

    We may still face uncertainty.
We may still walk through difficult seasons.
We may still have questions, battles, burdens, and moments that stretch our faith.

But when we truly fear the Lord, we remember that no earthly fear is greater than His authority, His presence, His wisdom, or His power.

The fear of man cannot rule a heart that belongs to God.
The fear of tomorrow cannot control a heart anchored in God’s promises.
The fear of failure cannot define a life surrendered to God’s purpose.
The fear of the unknown cannot overcome the One who already knows the end from the beginning.

To fear God is to trust that He is holy, faithful, sovereign, loving, and good. It is to live with the confidence that if He is for us, no fear has the final word over us.

So today, let this be a reminder:

Fear God — and let every lesser fear bow.

“The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.”
    — Proverbs 9:10

Lord, teach us to walk in reverence, faith, and holy confidence. Help us fear You rightly, trust You fully, and refuse to be ruled by fear.

  • “Nobody ever outgrows Scripture; the Book widens and deepens with our years.” — Charles Spurgeon

What a beautiful reminder that the Word of God is not something we graduate from — it is something we grow into.

There are passages we read as children that comfort us in simple ways, and then years later those same verses meet us again with deeper meaning. The same Scripture that strengthens us in one season can correct us, guide us, encourage us, and steady us in another.

God’s Word does not become smaller as we grow older. It becomes richer.

The more life we live, the more we discover how deeply we need the truth of Scripture. In times of joy, it teaches us gratitude. In times of confusion, it gives wisdom. In times of grief, it brings comfort. In times of temptation, it gives strength. In times of waiting, it reminds us that God is faithful.

We never become too mature for the Bible. We never become too experienced for its correction. We never become too strong for its encouragement. We never become too wise for its instruction.
Scripture is living and powerful. It meets the child, the young believer, the weary parent, the aging saint, the one who is seeking, the one who is struggling, and the one who needs to be reminded again that God is still near.

The Word of God is like a deep well — the longer we walk with the Lord, the more we realize we have only begun to draw from its depths.

So today, open the Book again.

    Read it slowly.

    Receive it humbly.

    Trust it fully.

    Let it shape your heart.
Let it renew your mind.
Let it remind you who God is.

No matter your age, your season, your past, or your circumstances, there is still more of God’s truth to discover.

“The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God stands forever.” — Isaiah 40:8

Lord, give us a deeper hunger for Your Word. Help us not only to read Scripture, but to be changed by it.

  • True prayer is neither a mere mental exercise nor a vocal performance.

    It is something much deeper.

Prayer is not about finding impressive words. It is not about sounding spiritual, checking a box, or going through a routine. True prayer is the heart of a person humbling itself before the living God.

It is honest communion with the Creator.

When we pray, we are not speaking into emptiness. We are drawing near to the One who made heaven and earth, the One who knows every thought before we speak it, the One who sees every burden we carry, and the One who invites us to come boldly before His throne of grace.

True prayer is where surrender happens.
True prayer is where burdens are laid down.
True prayer is where pride is broken.
True prayer is where faith is strengthened.
True prayer is where our hearts are brought back into alignment with God’s will.

God is not looking for polished speeches. He is looking for sincere hearts.

Some of the most powerful prayers are whispered through tears. Some are spoken in silence when words will not come. Some are as simple as, “Lord, help me.” And still, He hears.

Prayer reminds us that we are not in control, but we are held by the

One who is. It teaches us to depend on God, to trust His timing, to seek His wisdom, and to rest in His presence.

So today, do not wait until you have the right words. Do not wait until everything feels perfect. Come to Him as you are.

    Pray in the morning.
Pray in the struggle.
Pray before the decision.
Pray when you are thankful.
Pray when you are weak.
Pray when you do not know what else to do.

Because true prayer is not performance.

    It is relationship.
It is dependence.
It is worship.
It is faith reaching toward God.

    “Pray without ceasing.” — 1 Thessalonians 5:17

Lord, teach us to pray with humble hearts, honest faith, and full dependence on You.

  • “The glory of God’s faithfulness is that no sin of ours has ever made Him unfaithful.” — Charles Spurgeon

What a powerful reminder of the unchanging character of God.

There are times when we look at our own lives and see failure, weakness, inconsistency, and sin. We remember the moments we fell short, the promises we did not keep, the prayers we neglected, the attitudes we allowed, and the ways we wandered from what we knew was right.

But here is the good news: our unfaithfulness does not change God’s
    faithfulness.

God is not faithful because we are perfect.
God is faithful because He is God.

His love is not fragile. His mercy is not easily exhausted. His grace is not dependent on our ability to get everything right. When we stumble, He remains steady. When we fail, He remains true. When we are weak, He remains strong. When we confess, He is faithful and just to forgive.

That does not make sin small. It makes grace glorious.

The faithfulness of God should never lead us to take Him lightly. It should lead us to worship Him deeply, repent honestly, and return to Him quickly. The God who remains faithful is the same God who calls us out of darkness and into His light.

Today, let this truth encourage your heart: your failure is not stronger than His faithfulness. Your past is not greater than His mercy. Your sin is not beyond His redeeming power. His covenant love is steady, sure, and unshakable.

The clouds may shift. Our emotions may change. Our strength may rise and fall. But the faithfulness of God remains.

“If we are faithless, He remains faithful; He cannot deny Himself.” — 2 Timothy 2:13

Lord, thank You for being faithful even when we fall short. Help us not to abuse Your grace, but to be transformed by it. Draw us closer to You today.

  • “A little faith will bring your soul to heaven; a great faith will bring heaven to your soul.”— Charles Spurgeon

What a beautiful and powerful reminder of what faith does in the life of a believer.

Even the smallest measure of true faith in Jesus Christ is enough to save. We are not saved because our faith is perfect, impressive, or strong in itself — we are saved because the One we place our faith in is perfect, powerful, and faithful. A little faith in a great Savior is still saving faith.

But Spurgeon also points us to something deeper: great faith does more than look ahead to heaven someday — it brings the joy, peace, hope, and reality of heaven into our hearts even now.

When our faith grows, so does our confidence in God’s promises.
When our faith grows, fear begins to lose its grip.
When our faith grows, peace settles into troubled places.
When our faith grows, worship becomes more sincere, prayer becomes more constant, and hope becomes more alive.

Great faith does not mean we never struggle. It does not mean we never doubt, never hurt, or never walk through hard seasons. It means that in the middle of those seasons, we continue to trust the Lord. We continue to lean on His Word. We continue to believe that He is good, present, and working — even when life feels uncertain.

Faith lifts our eyes beyond what we see.
Faith reminds us that God is in control.
Faith helps us live with the reality of eternity in view.
Faith brings the presence of heaven into the middle of everyday life.

So today, don’t despise small beginnings. If all you have is a little faith, place it fully in Jesus. And if you want your heart to be filled more and more with the peace of heaven, ask the Lord to strengthen your faith.

    He is able.

“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”
— Hebrews 11:1

Lord, increase our faith — not only to trust You for eternity, but to walk with You in peace, confidence, and hope today.

  • “A Jesus who never wept could never wipe away my tears.”
— Charles H. Spurgeon

What a powerful reminder of the compassion of our Savior.
Jesus is not distant from our pain. He is not untouched by grief, loss, sorrow, or heartbreak. He does not look at our tears with indifference. He entered into this broken world, felt the weight of suffering, stood beside the grieving, and wept.

Because Jesus wept, we know He understands.
He understands the ache that words cannot explain.
He understands the heaviness of a weary heart.
He understands what it feels like to stand at the place of sorrow.
He understands the tears we cry in private and the burdens we carry quietly.

But the beauty of Christ is not only that He weeps with us — it is that

He has the power to wipe our tears away.

The same Jesus who stood at Lazarus’ tomb and wept is the same Jesus who called him out of the grave. The same Savior who draws near to the brokenhearted is the same Savior who brings resurrection, hope, healing, and peace.

Your tears are not ignored by God.
Your pain is not too small for His care.
Your grief is not too heavy for His grace.
Your sorrow is not the end of the story.

We serve a Savior who is both tender enough to weep with us and mighty enough to redeem what has broken us.

So today, bring Him your tears. Bring Him your questions. Bring Him your grief. Bring Him the places that still hurt. He is not ashamed of your sorrow, and He is not absent in your suffering.

    Jesus sees.
Jesus cares.
Jesus weeps with us.
And one day, He will wipe away every tear.

    “Jesus wept.”
— John 11:35

If you are walking through a hard season, may you be reminded today that Christ is near, compassionate, and faithful.

  • In this video, Patrick looks at the Top 10 Most Influential Churches Online, based on the 2026 Church Influence 100 list from REACHRIGHT Studios.

    https://youtu.be/ce741SrVBkU

These churches are reaching millions of people through online worship, sermons, social media, YouTube, worship music, and digital ministry. From the United States to Singapore, Australia, Nigeria, and India. But does that really mean they are reaching millions with the true Gospel?

Patrick looks at each church’s main homepage and asks two questions:

    1. Can you immediately see a salvation through Christ only presence for the church?
    2. Can you immediately see a Great Commission presence for the church?
