    DATE: TUESDAY 18TH AUGUST 2026

    TOPIC: GOD’S COVENANT OF PROMOTION

    MEMORIZE:
    "But my horn shalt thou exalt like the horn of an unicorn: I shall be anointed with fresh oil." Psalm 92:10 (KJV)

    BIBLE READING: PSALM 75:6-7
    6 For promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south.

    7 But God is the judge: he putteth down one, and setteth up another.

    MESSAGE:
    The devil often uses the promise of promotion to lure people into making covenants with him. For example, I have heard of cases where those in authority would ask someone due for a promotion at work to enter into an evil covenant by joining a secret cult before the promotion is granted.

    Beloved, if you ever find yourself in such an ordeal, I urge you never to enter into such covenants.

    Today’s Bible reading tells us that promotion comes from God. When He says yes, nobody can say no. When God decides to promote you, it doesn’t matter what anybody may try because you will reach the position that He intends. He controls the heart of kings; therefore, if anyone in authority threatens you, saying, “You will not be promoted unless you join us,” take your stand as a child of God, and never give in. Just hold on to God, and in the end, you will emerge victorious.

    Sometime ago, one of my spiritual sons came to me and said, “Daddy, I am tired of being in one spot for so long; I want to move forward. I have an interview tomorrow, please pray for me.” I replied,

    “Let us pray,” and he said, “No! Just speak a word.”

    Then I told him that the interview would be successful. He went for the interview and came back beaming with joy. He said, “Daddy, I prepared hard for the interview, but they only asked me three questions: What is your name? Which post did you apply for? When do you want to start?” | congratulated him, and he said, “Daddy, please speak another word.” I obliged and responded,

    “Your promotion will be rapid.” The next day, He came back dancing for joy. He said, “When I resumed this morning, I was asked to go to the boardroom. The people who interviewed me the previous day were seated there, and they said, ‘Our Managing Director resigned yesterday. Are you ready to take on the post?’ I replied,

    “Congratulations, that’s a rapid promotion.” He told me to speak another word, and I said that God would complete the good work He had started in him. The next day, he came back to me almost speechless as his salary had been doubled! Then he said I should speak another word, and I jokingly responded, “Do you want to collect the company from the owners?”

    Beloved, I pray that my Father will surprise you with rapid promotions, in Jesus’ name.

    KEY POINT:
    Nothing and no one can limit a man whom God has decided to promote.

    BIBLE READING IN ONE YEAR:
    JEREMIAH 47-48

    AUTHOR: PASTOR E. A. ADEBOYE

    HYMNAL 20 - I'M PRESSING ON THE UPWARD WAY
    1. I'm pressing on the upward way, New heights I'm gaining
    everyday; Still praying as I onward bound "Lord, plant my feet on higher ground."

    CHORUS:
    Lord, lift me up and let me stand, By faith, on Heaven's table-land; Where love, and joy, and light abound, Lord, plant my feet on higher
    ground.

    2. My heart has no desire to stay where doubts arise, and fears dismay; though some may dwell where these abound, My constant aim is higher ground.

    CHORUS:

    3. Beyond the mist I fain would rise, to rest beneath unclouded skies, above earth's turmoil peace is found By those who dwell on higher ground.

    CHORUS:

    4. I long to scale the utmost height, Though rough the way, and hard the fight, My song, while climbing, shall resound Lord, lead me on to higher ground.

    CHORUS:

    5. Lord, lead me up the mountain side I dare not climb without my Guide; And, heaven gained, I'll gaze around, With grateful heart from higher ground.

    CHORUS:

  • The New Life According to God's Grace
    The new life according to God's grace is a life that depends on the Lord Jesus Christ and the indwelling of the Holy Spirit within us. The Lord Jesus gave us the Holy Spirit to affirm three important truths:
    First: We do not live like the people of the Old Covenant; we have the Torah and the Prophets. Rather, we live the new life; we have the Word of God and the Holy Spirit Himself, who gave us the Word and works through the gift of prophecy—the gift of teaching in the Church, the Body of Christ. The Church of the New Covenant is not merely a people who hear the Word of God, but the Body of Christ inhabited by the Holy Spirit.
    Second: We live depending on the grace of the new life, because we do not live only by the strength, balance, and enlightenment of the mind through reading the Holy Scripture in the books, but we live by the power of the Holy Spirit, who gives us steadfastness in Christ. As the apostle says: "Now He who establishes us with you in Christ and has anointed us is God, who also has sealed us and given us the Spirit in our hearts as a guarantee" (see 2 Corinthians 1:21-22).
    Third: Because of the Lord's ascension and entry into the Holy of Holies, we received the gift of the Holy Spirit—the same Spirit who formed the Lord's body and with whom He was anointed in the Jordan River—so that we may realize that our special relationship with Christ is not a physical or mental bond, but a spiritual relationship.
    Therefore, the Lord gave us His Holy Spirit so that we may realize that our transformation by the Holy Spirit will be like His transformation: we must be born when we die with Him so that the new nature, the nature of Christ, is formed within us.

  • You don't have to be eloquent in speech in order for you to be anointed and used by God, remember Moses in the Bible was a stamarrer but God used him mightily. Get ready to do the work of God and win souls for the Kingdom of God.🏾

  • God Is Faithful, Even While You Wait (Lamentations 3:22–23)

    Waiting is not easy.

    We live in a world where we want everything immediately.

    Instant messages.

    Instant information.

    Instant results.

    But God doesn't always work according to our timetable.

    Sometimes you pray, and the answer doesn't come when you expect it.

    You ask God for an opportunity, but the door remains closed.

    You pray for healing, direction, provision, or a breakthrough, yet you continue waiting.

    And eventually you may begin asking:

    “God, have You forgotten me?”

    No.

    He hasn't.

    The Bible reminds us:

    “Because of the Lord's great love we are not consumed, for His compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness.”

    God's faithfulness doesn't depend on how quickly He answers.

    He is faithful while you wait.

    Think about the people in Scripture who had to wait.

    Abraham waited for God's promise.

    Joseph endured years of hardship before seeing God's plan unfold.

    David was anointed king but still had to wait for the right time.

    The Israelites waited for deliverance.

    Even Jesus' disciples had seasons where they didn't understand what God was doing.

    Waiting doesn't always mean God is doing nothing.

    Sometimes God is preparing you.

    Sometimes He is preparing the situation.

    Sometimes He is protecting you from something you cannot see.

    Sometimes He is teaching you to trust Him rather than the outcome.

    And sometimes, we simply have to accept that God's wisdom is greater than ours.

    That can be difficult.

    We want answers.

    God may give us peace before He gives us explanations.

    We want the destination.

    God may teach us something important on the journey.

    We want the door to open.

    God may be asking us to trust Him while it remains closed.

    Don't allow waiting to make you forget God's past faithfulness.

    Look back.

    Remember the prayers He has answered.

    Remember the doors He opened.

    Remember the times He protected you.

    Remember the moments when you thought you couldn't make it, yet somehow God carried you through.

    Those memories can strengthen your faith for today's waiting season.

    And while you wait, keep doing what God has already called you to do.

    Keep praying.

    Keep serving.

    Keep learning.

    Keep working with integrity.

    Keep loving people.

    Keep reading His Word.

    Keep trusting Him.

    Don't put your entire life on hold while waiting for one prayer to be answered.

    God can work in your life right now.

    There is purpose in today's season too.

    Maybe your waiting season is developing patience.

    Maybe it is deepening your faith.

    Maybe it is preparing you for an opportunity you aren't ready for yet.

    Maybe God is teaching you that your identity is found in Him—not in what you receive from Him.

    Whatever the reason, don't give up.

    Your situation may change tomorrow.

    It may take months.

    It may take years.

    But God's character doesn't change.

    He remains faithful.

    And the greatest evidence of His faithfulness is Jesus Christ.

    God did not leave humanity without hope.

    He sent His Son to make a way for us to be reconciled to Him.

    If God was faithful enough to provide salvation through Christ, you can trust Him with the rest of your journey.

    So if you're waiting today, take a deep breath.

    Pray again.

    Trust again.

    And remember:

    God has not forgotten you.

    Your waiting season is not wasted when you place it in God's hands.

    What are you waiting for God to do, and how can you choose to trust Him while you wait?

  • SERMON TITLE: "YOU AND YOUR PEOPLE IN 144000,, THE DREAM I GOT: A CALL TO THE 144,000 MINDSET IN THE LAST DAYS"
    Text: Job 33:14-15 + Heb 1:2 + Rev 14:1-5
    Theme: God speaks in dreams, but THE SON speaks the final Word

    INTRO: GOD STILL SPEAKS AT NIGHT
    Job 33:14-15 _“For God speaks in one way, and in two, though man does not perceive it.
    In a dream, in a vision of the night...”_

    I Reagan l got a voice in a dream l received saying: “You and your people are in 144,000., a no by sight/ vision l didn't recognize it well and I woke up.
    Why? Because God gives the dream Job 33:15, but THE SON gives the meaning Heb 1:2.

    Heb 1:1-2 _“Long ago, at many times and in many ways, God spoke to our fathers by the prophets,
    but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son...”_

    In this last age, every dream must be measured by THE SON.

    POINT 1: WHAT "144,000" MEANS FOR US TODAY
    Rev 14:4-5 “It is these who follow the Lamb wherever he goes... In their mouth no lie was found, they are blameless.”

    God is not just giving us a number. He’s giving us a CHARACTER.
    To be "in 144,000" today means 4 things:

    FOLLOW THE LAMB, NOT MEN - Rev 14:4
    That "anointed prophet" wanted you to follow him. The Lamb says “Follow Me” John 10:27.
    In this last age Heb 1:2, we obey THE SON only.

    WASHED BY THE BLOOD - RED7 - Rev 7:14 “...they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.”
    No purity, no calling. 1 Pet 1:16 “You shall be holy, for I am holy.”

    NO LIE IN THE MOUTH - A TRUE WITNESS - Rev 14:5, Acts 26:16
    This age is full of deception Matt 24:24. God is raising witnesses who speak truth.

    SEALED WITH PEACE IN THE STORM - Rev 7:3, John 14:27
    Judgment RED7 and death SKELETON are coming. But the sealed have peace.

    POINT 2: WHY GOD GAVE THE DREAM - "SO THAT YOU OBEY AND DON'T GO INTO DESTRUCTION"
    Job 33:17-18 _“That he may turn man aside from his deed and conceal pride from a man;
    He keeps back his soul from the pit...”_

    The purpose of the dream:
    A WARNING - RED7, SKELETON. The age is ending. Don’t play with sin Rom 6:16.
    A CALL - GREEN7. Come back to the Word Matt 4:4. Be fruitful John 15:5.
    A CHOICE - Deut 30:19 “...therefore choose life”. Choose THE SON Heb 1:2.

    God showed you the dream because He doesn’t want you and your people to perish 2 Pet 3:9.

    POINT 3: HOW TO WALK IN THIS CALL TODAY
    HEAR THE SON DAILY - Heb 1:2. Bible + Prayer. That’s your food.
    REJECT FALSE CONFIRMATION - 1 John 4:1. Test every spirit. Peace is the proof Col 3:15, not titles.
    LIVE AS FIRSTFRUITS - Rev 14:4. Set apart. Holy. Different.
    BE A WITNESS - Acts 26:16. Tell others: “Repent, the Lamb is calling”.

    ALTAR CALL / APPLICATION:
    Church, the dream is not for pride. It’s for OBEDIENCE.
    Rev 3:20 “Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice...”

    PRAYER:
    Father, in Jesus' name. Seal Your people Rev 7:3.
    Give us grace to follow THE LAMB Rev 14:4.
    Keep us from destruction Job 33:18.
    Make us GREEN7 - holy, fruitful, obedient in these last days Heb 1:2. Amen.

    FINAL WORD FOR YOU REAGAN:
    Brother& sisters the dream is TRUE Job 33:14-15.
    But the meaning is: Follow THE SON Heb 1:2.

    A divine message the son speaks to you of this last age to obey & don't perish through this dream l got me Reagan, Jesus' servant and a witness appointed by Jesus to testify to what l have seen him in visions l saw. Acts 26:16, not a celebrity.

    Rev 14:1 “...the Lamb... and with him the 144,000 who had his name and his Father's name written on their foreheads.”
    The mark is HIS NAME. Carry it well.

    All glory to Jesus John 16:14

POINT 1: WHAT "144,000" MEANS FOR US TODAY Rev 14:4-5 “It is these who follow the Lamb wherever he goes... In their mouth no lie was found, they are blameless.” God is not just giving us a number. He’s giving us a CHARACTER. To be "in 144,000" today means 4 things: FOLLOW THE LAMB, NOT MEN - Rev 14:4 That "anointed prophet" wanted you to follow him. The Lamb says “Follow Me” John 10:27. In this last age Heb 1:2, we obey THE SON only. WASHED BY THE BLOOD - RED7 - Rev 7:14 “...they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.” No purity, no calling. 1 Pet 1:16 “You shall be holy, for I am holy.” NO LIE IN THE MOUTH - A TRUE WITNESS - Rev 14:5, Acts 26:16 This age is full of deception Matt 24:24. God is raising witnesses who speak truth. SEALED WITH PEACE IN THE STORM - Rev 7:3, John 14:27 Judgment RED7 and death SKELETON are coming. But the sealed have peace. POINT 2: WHY GOD GAVE THE DREAM - "SO THAT YOU OBEY AND DON'T GO INTO DESTRUCTION" Job 33:17-18 _“That he may turn man aside from his deed and conceal pride from a man; He keeps back his soul from the pit...”_ The purpose of the dream: A WARNING - RED7, SKELETON. POINT 3: HOW TO WALK IN THIS CALL TODAY HEAR THE SON DAILY - Heb 1:2. Bible + Prayer. That’s your food. REJECT FALSE CONFIRMATION - 1 John 4:1. Test every spirit. Peace is the proof Col 3:15, not titles. LIVE AS FIRSTFRUITS - Rev 14:4. Set apart. Holy. Different. BE A WITNESS - Acts 26:16. Tell others: “Repent, the Lamb is calling”. ALTAR CALL / APPLICATION: Church, the dream is not for pride. It’s for OBEDIENCE. Rev 3:20 “Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice...” PRAYER: Father, in Jesus' name. Seal Your people Rev 7:3. Give us grace to follow THE LAMB Rev 14:4. Keep us from destruction Job 33:18. Make us GREEN7 - holy, fruitful, obedient in these last days Heb 1:2. Amen. FINAL WORD FOR YOU REAGAN: Brother& sisters the dream is TRUE Job 33:14-15. Rev 14:1 “...the Lamb... and with him the 144,000 who had his name and his Father's name written on their foreheads.” The mark is HIS NAME. Carry it well. All glory to Jesus John 16:14

  • St. Stephen of Hungary

    St. Stephen was from a very noble family and was born in the year 997 to father Prince Geza and mother Sarolt of Hungary. He married Giselle, the daughter of Duke Henry-Ii of Bavaria. He took very sincere efforts to spread Christianity and extended patronage to Church leaders. St. Stephen was anointed as king of Hungary by Pope Sylvester-II on the Christmas day in the year 1001, with the consent of the Holy Roman Emperor Otto-III. St. Stephen dedicated his crown to Holy Mary, during the coronation. His only son Emeric died after being wounded in a hunting expedition in the year 1031. Therefore St. Stephen was having no son left to rule his Kingdom. So in his death bed he raised the Holy Crown by his right hand and prayed to the Holy Mary to take the Hungarians as Her subjects and to become the Queen of Hungarians. He died on August 15, 1038, on the commemoration day of the Assumption of Mary.

    St. Stephen's right hand is kept as a relic and is called as the "Holy Right" by Hungarians. His right hand remains uncorrupted due to the reason that with this hand he raised the Holy Crown towards heaven and prayed to the Virgin Mary. The right hand is now in the Basilica of King Saint Stephen in Budapest.

    He is venerated as the patron saint of masons, stone cutters and brick layers. He was canonized by Pope Gregory-VII on August 20, 1083.

  • TODAY'S KINGDOM INSIGHTS:

    SERMON TOPIC:

    IS YOUR LIFE A STAGE OR AN ALTAR?

    Main Text: Romans 12:1

    «“Present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.”»

    WHAT ARE YOU BUILDING WITH YOUR LIFE?

    Every day, we stand before an audience.
    People watch what we do.
    People listen to what we say.
    People observe our success, relationships, appearance, ministry and lifestyle.
    But there is an audience greater than humanity: God.
    The question is not simply, “What do people think about me?”
    The deeper question is:
    “What does God see when He looks at my life?”
    A stage is where people perform to be seen.
    An altar is where a person surrenders to God.
    On a stage, the question is:
    «“How do I look?”»
    At an altar, the question is:
    «“Lord, what do You want from me?”»
    Many people are living on a stage while believing they are standing at an altar.
    They pray publicly but disobey privately.
    They appear spiritual before people but live differently when nobody is watching.
    They want the applause of men but have lost the approval of God.

    Today, God is calling us from performance to surrender, from appearance to authenticity, and from the stage to the altar.
    1. THE STAGE SEEKS APPLAUSE; THE ALTAR SEEKS GOD'S APPROVAL
    Jesus warned about religious performance.
    Matthew 6:1
    «“Take heed that ye do not your alms before men, to be seen of them.”»
    Jesus was not condemning good works. He was exposing the wrong motive.
    You can do the right thing for the wrong reason.
    You can preach because you want recognition.
    You can sing because you want applause.
    You can give because you want people to celebrate you.
    You can post Scripture because you want people to praise your spirituality.
    But God looks beyond the action and examines the heart.
    1 Samuel 16:7
    «“Man looketh on the outward appearance, but the LORD looketh on the heart.”»
    The stage asks: “Who is watching?”
    The altar asks: “Is God pleased?”
    A person living at the altar does not need human applause to remain faithful.
    Spiritual insight:
    If your Christianity only works when people are watching, you may be performing rather than worshipping.
    2. THE STAGE DISPLAYS TALENT; THE ALTAR REVEALS CHARACTER
    Talent can put you on a platform.
    Character determines whether you can remain there without destroying yourself.
    David had musical ability.
    David had courage.
    David had leadership ability.
    But before David stood before kings, he learned to stand before God in the wilderness.
    The altar develops what the stage cannot produce.
    The stage can reveal your gift.
    The altar reveals your heart.
    A person can be gifted and still lack character.
    A person can preach powerfully and live carelessly.
    A person can sing beautifully and still have an uncontrolled heart.
    A person can be celebrated publicly and be broken privately.
    That is why God is more interested in who you are becoming than merely what you are doing.
    Galatians 5:22–23
    The fruit of the Spirit includes love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.
    Notice that Scripture calls these fruit, not performance.
    Fruit grows from a life connected to God.
    Ask yourself:
    What happens to my character when nobody is watching?
    That question can reveal whether your life is a stage or an altar.
    3. THE STAGE WANTS TO RECEIVE; THE ALTAR IS WILLING TO SURRENDER
    An altar is a place of sacrifice.
    Romans 12:1 says:
    «“Present your bodies a living sacrifice…”»
    God does not merely want your Sunday.
    He wants your Monday.
    He does not only want your voice in church.
    He wants your conversations at home.
    He does not only want your offering.
    He wants your heart.
    He does not only want your public ministry.
    He wants your private obedience.
    The stage says:
    “God, bless what I want to do.”
    The altar says:
    “God, I surrender what I want to do to Your will.”
    That is the difference.
    Jesus demonstrated this in Gethsemane.
    Luke 22:42
    «“Not my will, but thine, be done.”»
    That is altar language.
    Sometimes the greatest worship you can give God is not a song.
    It is surrender.
    4. THE STAGE CAN BE MAINTAINED BY APPEARANCE; THE ALTAR REQUIRES TRUTH
    A stage can be decorated.
    An altar cannot hide the condition of the sacrifice.
    God is calling His people back to authenticity.
    Psalm 51:6
    «“Behold, thou desirest truth in the inward parts…”»
    God wants truth in the hidden places.
    Who are you when the phone is off?
    Who are you when nobody is applauding?
    Who are you when you are angry?
    Who are you when you have money?
    Who are you when you have power?
    Who are you when temptation comes?
    Who are you when nobody can reward you?
    That is where character is tested.
    Christianity is not merely about looking holy.
    It is about becoming holy.
    5. GOD DOES NOT WANT A PERFORMANCE; HE WANTS A LIVING SACRIFICE
    Romans 12:1 gives us the picture clearly:
    «“Present your bodies a living sacrifice…”»
    Notice the word living.
    The Christian life is not a one-time emotional experience.
    It is daily surrender.
    Every morning, we should be able to say:
    “Lord, my life belongs to You.”
    My plans belong to You.
    My career belongs to You.
    My relationships belong to You.
    My finances belong to You.
    My gifts belong to You.
    My body belongs to You.
    My future belongs to You.
    That is life on the altar.

    BIBLICAL CASE STUDY: SAUL AND DAVID

    Two men were anointed by God.
    Two men were given opportunities.
    But their responses to God were different.
    Saul became increasingly concerned about how he appeared before people.
    1 Samuel 15:24
    Saul admitted that he feared the people and obeyed their voice.
    David, despite his failures, repeatedly returned to God with a repentant heart.
    Psalm 51:10
    «“Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.”»
    Saul was concerned about his image.
    David was concerned about his heart.
    One was more concerned about the stage.
    The other understood the altar.
    This does not mean David was perfect. He was not.
    It means that when confronted by God, David learned to return to Him.

    STAGE VS ALTAR

    THE STAGE| THE ALTAR
    Seeks applause| Seeks God's approval
    Focuses on appearance| Focuses on character
    Wants recognition| Wants obedience
    Performs before people| Surrenders before God
    Protects image| Pursues holiness
    Says “Look at me”| Says “Lord, use me”
    Lives for public approval| Lives for divine purpose

    PRACTICAL ACTION STEPS

    1. Examine your motives
    Ask:
    “Why am I doing what I am doing?”
    2. Build a private life with God
    Do not allow your public ministry to become larger than your private relationship with God.
    3. Stop living for human applause
    People can praise you today and criticize you tomorrow.
    God's approval must become your anchor.
    4. Repent where necessary
    If there are hidden areas of compromise, bring them before God.
    Do not protect what God is asking you to surrender.
    5. Practice obedience when nobody is watching
    The secret place is where genuine Christianity is developed.
    6. Make your whole life worship
    Your workplace can become worship.
    Your family life can become worship.
    Your business can become worship.
    Your ministry can become worship.
    Your private decisions can become worship.

    DEEP SPIRITUAL INSIGHTS

    1. God is more interested in your heart than your platform.
    A bigger platform without a deeper heart can become dangerous.
    2. Public success cannot compensate for private failure.
    You can impress thousands and still grieve God.
    3. The altar comes before the platform.
    Before God uses a person publicly, He often works on that person privately.
    4. Your greatest audience is God.
    People see moments.
    God sees the entire life.
    5. The altar is where ambition dies and purpose is born.
    Sometimes God must remove our desire to be seen before He can trust us to be used.

    QUESTIONS FOR PERSONAL REFLECTION

    1. Am I living to please God or to impress people?
    2. Who am I when nobody is watching?
    3. Is my private life consistent with my public confession?
    4. Am I more interested in being celebrated or being transformed?
    5. What have I refused to surrender to God?
    6. Have I allowed social media to become my stage?
    7. Is my ministry flowing from intimacy with God or the desire for recognition?
    8. If God removed the applause, would I still serve Him?
    9. What area of my life needs to return to the altar?
    10. Can God trust me with a greater platform?

    POWERFUL PRAYER POINTS

    1. Prayer for a pure heart
    Father, create in me a clean heart and renew a right spirit within me. Let my private life please You.
    2. Prayer against hypocrisy
    Lord, deliver me from every form of hypocrisy and spiritual performance. Let my public life agree with my private life.
    3. Prayer for genuine surrender
    Father, I surrender my plans, ambitions, gifts, relationships and future to You. Have Your way in my life.
    4. Prayer against the desire for human applause
    Lord, free me from the bondage of seeking human approval. Teach me to live for Your approval alone.
    5. Prayer for character
    Holy Spirit, develop Christlike character in me. Let my character be greater than my platform.
    6. Prayer for usefulness
    Lord, make my life an instrument in Your hands. Let everything You have placed in me bring glory to Your name.

    COME DOWN FROM THE STAGE.

    Perhaps the greatest question today is not:
    “How many people know me?”
    It is:
    “Does God know me?”
    Not:
    “How impressive is my life?”
    But:
    “How surrendered is my life?”
    The world says:
    “Build your platform.”
    God says:
    “Build your altar.”
    The world says:
    “Make people notice you.”
    God says:
    “Let your light shine so that people may glorify your Father.”
    The stage is temporary.
    The applause is temporary.
    Popularity is temporary.
    Titles are temporary.
    But what you do for God and who you become in Christ have eternal significance.
    So today, come down from the stage.
    Lay down the need to impress.
    Lay down the need to be celebrated.
    Lay down the hidden compromise.
    Lay down the pride.
    Lay down the fear of people's opinions.
    Lay down your plans.
    And say:
    «“Lord, here I am. My life is Yours.”»

    FINAL DECLARATION

    My life will not be a stage for human applause.
    My life will be an altar for God's glory.
    My gifts will serve His purpose.
    My character will reflect Christ.
    My private life will honor Him.
    My public life will glorify Him.
    And everything I am and everything I have will belong to Jesus.
    Amen.

    As Christians, we are called not only to follow the teachings of Jesus Christ but also to live out His love, compassion, justice, mercy, and respect for the dignity of every human being. Human rights are therefore not separate from our Christian journey; they speak to our responsibility to love our neighbors, stand with the vulnerable, defend the oppressed, and treat every person with dignity and respect.

    I look forward to sharing fellowship with you, learning from one another, and encouraging each other in the faith. I would also be glad to receive your invitation, wherever and whenever possible, to share my testimony of Jesus Christ and His Gospel, while reflecting on how Christian values can inspire us to uphold the fundamental rights and dignity of all people.

    May Christ's love guide our words, our actions, and our service to humanity.

    God bless you all, and you are warmly welcome to the Lordbook family.

  • Good morning, brethren.
    1. Morning devotion for today.

    MD.i. MORNING TEA
    THE WORD FOR TODAY
    THURSDAY AUGUST 13, 2O26.
    "RESPONDING TO FAILURE"

    ‘A righteous person may fall…but he gets up again...’ Proverbs 24:16 GWT

    YOU CAN tell a lot about somebody by how they respond to life. Everybody gets knocked down, but how fast you get up again is what counts. Verla Gillmor says: ‘Failure teaches us things we can’t learn any other way…Treat it as a visitor allowed to deliver unpleasant news, but don’t let it take up residence. Remember, all failures aren’t equal. For example, when a beautiful, talented young woman is the first-runner-up in a beauty contest, some say she failed. Yet some people would give their right arm to be named the second most attractive female in a competition. It’s a matter of perspective… [examine] your failures and weigh them according to their importance in the overall scheme of things…I once received a ‘D’ at college…it’s ridiculous, but that sticks in my mind like a pebble in my shoe. Why do I fixate on that and not the fact that it happened during the term I carried nineteen credit hours, worked part-time, got engaged, and spent six weeks in the college health centre with mononucleosis? When I put the experience in context, it loses its power to undermine my confidence. Failure teaches us what’s important. I have a friend who was made redundant…It caught her by surprise because she was good at her work. “I tended to be full of pride,” she says. “I got away with it because I was so successful. Losing my job…humbled me. With pride you have no permission to fail. It’s a heavy yoke…and I don’t wear it any more. I feel lighter in my spirit without the burden of having to be perfect.’’’

    *A MORE DESCRIPTION OF HEAVEN*

    *TEXT:* REVELATION 21:1-8.

    1And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.
    2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
    3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.
    4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
    5 And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.
    6 And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.
    7 He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.
    8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

    *Timeless Truth:*_"For he (Abraham) looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God"_ (Hebrews 11:10).

    *INTRODUCTION*

    When Garden Eden was created, it was the most beautiful place Adam could ever conceive of, with all the beautiful birds, animals, plants and cool weather. However, nobody needed to tell Adam that there must be a better place because the God that used to commune with him in *"the cool of the day"* was not living in Eden. He must be dwelling in a better place. This faith was carried on from generations to generations until the time of Abraham, who in spite of all the wealth promised him, his affection was focused on the better city. *"For he (Abraham) looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God"*. Nobody was given a better revelation of heaven than Apostle John. Enoch and Elijah were said to be translated to heaven. How heaven looked like was left to human imaginations. Jesus Christ also mentioned heaven as the abode of the Triune God. He only told us it has many mansions. At the mount of transfiguration was revealed the glory of heaven and how the inhabitants will look like. Nothing more was revealed. Stephen saw heaven at the point of death but just faintly (Acts 7:55-56). Paul the apostle was taken to heaven which he called the third heaven, but he said he was not permitted to reveal what he saw to any except that he exposed that it has many foundations (Acts 11:10, 2 Corinthians 12:2-4). The text shows us the climax of God's revelation about heaven. Yet the Bible writers were short of words to describe heaven except that it is the place where God dwells from eternity, with all His created angels and saints. *"How beautiful heaven must be"*.

    *1. Prepared Heaven*

    a. Those who doubt the testimony of Apostle John must be ready to doubt his gospel and epistles that have transformed lives and brought supernatural comforts and revelation of Jesus Christ to mankind for centuries. *"And I saw a new heaven and a new earth"*. He was not told or heard from a third party. He saw it himself. It was not a remodelled new heaven and earth, but a totally new heaven and a new earth. *"And there was no more sea"*. There are three types of heaven mentioned in the Bible. There is the atmospheric heaven where the rain comes from (Deuteronomy 11:11). There is the second heaven called heavenlies where we have the galaxies including the primary domain of demonic forces and angelic conflicts (Ephesians 6:12). Then we have the third heaven or paradise where God dwells (2 Corinthians 12:2). *"For the first heaven and the first earth were passed away"*. The first two heavens were passed away except the third heaven. 2 Peter 3:12, 13 reveals how this will happen. *"….. wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat? Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness. "*. The earth and the heavens will be destroyed through fervent heat. Jesus Himself confirmed that heaven and earth with all their structures, beauties, learnings and philosophies shall all pass away except the Word of God (Matthew 5:18, 24:35). In fact, all the human bodies will give way to eternal and indestructible bodies. Thus, what Apostle John saw was the giving away of all things that are visible and temporary for things that are eternal.
    b. *"And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven"*. The earthly Jerusalem was referred to as the city of the Great King (Psalm 48:2, Matthew 5:35). This is referring to the Millennium holy Jerusalem from where Jesus will rule the whole world physically. John the apostle said that Jerusalem ceased to exist, but gave way to a completely New Jerusalem. This New Jerusalem was seen coming *"out of heaven"*. Obviously, it is seen coming from the third heaven which is the eternal throne of God. He used the imagery of the beauty of a bride coming to meet the husband to describe the beauty of heaven. This is the best description human language can give. *Prepared as a bride adorned for her husband"*. He then heard the voice of God announcing the plan of God right from eternity. What was that plan? That God will physically, live among men as King over loving subjects; as Father over His children in a happy family set up and as God over His redeemed and people. *"And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God"*. This is the beginning of heaven, happy and holy eternity.

    *Question*

    Are you getting prepared for heaven in the practical sense of it? If Not, then you don't actually, believe in heaven.

    *2. Pacification with Happiness*

    a. The Apostle further gave a glimpse of how we will feel in heaven. *"And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes"*. Tears of sorrow, anguish, lost loved ones, physical and psychological pains, etc.will all be forgotten. This is difficult to imagine for man. It is like imagining how God promised that *"your sins and iniquities will I remember no more"*. We don't have a problem with God forgiving our sins, but God forgetting our sins will be difficult to imagine. We will all forget the painful past as we will be overwhelmed with the glory of God for eternity. *"There shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away"*. The pains and the tears, called *"light afflictions"* will be for a moment. They will not survive the joy of eternity.
    b. For those who have difficulty with believing, *"he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful"*. Heaven is prepared already. When Jesus Christ was about going to heaven, He assured the disciples of going to build mansions for them. About 60 years later, when John saw the revelation, he was told by the Lord that it was done. It means it is a settled and concluded matter. *"And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end"*. In heaven there will not be any heat or tension, but total refreshments and happiness. *"I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely"*. Everything God has will be totally ours. All the gifts of God, physical or spiritual, will belong to us as possessions. Nothing needed or useful will be denied. We suffer different lacks while on earth. Heaven will be the opposite. *"He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son"*. Are you an overcomer over sin, Satan and all his temptations?

    *Question*

    What are the things you are suffering on earth? Do you see them as temporary?

    *3. Punishment of Hell*

    What are the things that will disqualify any from entering heaven? What would be the abode of those who will miss heaven? The answer is fearful. *"But the fearful, and unbelieving"*. Every evil action stems from fear and unbelief. Unbelief of what God has spoken and the consequences of disobedience, fear of man and what man can do are terrible paralysing feelings that draw men to perdition. *"And the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars"*. Notice that all those sins are now also found inside the Church among professing saints. So there will be eternal surprises when those who profess that heaven is their home find themselves in a totally different place called hell. They *"shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone*.

    *Question*

    Are you transparently free from all sins?

    *Prayer Points*

    1.Give praises to God that you are in that number saved by grace .
    2.Ask God to search your life, expose, purge and cleanse you from all disqualifying habits .
    3.Pray that the vision of heaven will get brighter and brighter to you and your mind and affections will be focused on heavenly things .
    4.Pray that all believers will be delivered from all forms of self deception and will take entering heaven more seriously .

    ```KEY VERSE:``` _*"And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away" (REVELATION 21:4).*_
    *John Harper, a Scottish Baptist pastor and evangelist, died on the _RMS Titanic_ in 1912. His last words, as testified by survivors, were "I have seen heaven, and it is beautiful" and "Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved." Despite his death, Harper used his final moments to preach the gospel, expressing his deep assurance that beyond death lay a place of eternal peace. A rescued survivor testified that Harper, clinging to the wreckage, asked if he was saved and urged him to believe in Jesus Christ. The survivor later accepted Christ and called himself "the last convert of John Harper."*
    *Today's passage paints a breath-taking vision of the new heaven and new earth. John sees the Holy City, the New Jerusalem, descending from God, adorned like a bride. A powerful voice declares that God will dwell among His people, wiping away every tear. Death, mourning, crying, and pain will be gone forever. The former things will pass away, and everything will be made new. God, the Alpha and Omega, promises the water of life to those who thirst. But He also warns that those who reject Him (those living in sin, fear, unbelief) will face eternal separation in the lake of fire.*
    *In this world, we experience suffering in many forms such as loss, illness, disappointment, pain and injustice. But for those who belong to Christ, these trials are temporary. Christ assures us that a glorious future awaits us, one where God Himself will comfort us, and all suffering will cease. This hope should encourage believers to endure hardships with faith, knowing that one day, we will step into a place where joy is endless and pain is no more. It also calls us to live righteously, rejecting sin and embracing the promise of eternity with God.*
    *No matter what trials you face today, hold unto the hope of heaven. Let this promise strengthen your faith, drive you to share the gospel, and encourage you to live in readiness for Christ's return. A day is coming when all suffering will cease and there will be no more tears, pain or death. Get ready to be part of this eternally glorious moment.*
    2. Morning Prayer for today.
    MP.i. Morning Prayer
    For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only [use] not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another. ⏤ Galatians 5:13
    Let your religion be less of a theory and more of a love affair. ⏤ G.K. Chesterton
    O God, who has redeemed us by the precious blood of the Lamb, help us to live for Your praise and glory in all that we do. Since Jesus Christ has died for us and we are not our own, we want to live lives worthy of Your holiness. We confess and renounce all our sins. Teach us to hate sin and give us the grace to live soberly, righteously, and godly in this present world, to the glory of Your holy name.
    We ask You to reveal Yourself to us this morning as we go forth and to give us the assurance of Your presence. You have promised that as our days are, so shall our strength be, and that Your grace will always be sufficient for us. We cling to these promises as we enter a new day whose experiences we cannot predict. We do not know what dangers we will encounter, what burdens will be placed on us, what temptations will whisper in our ears, what pitfalls will lie in our path, or what insidious influences will threaten the purity of our souls.
    So we hide ourselves in You and trust You to keep us safe all day.
    We desire to be useful and helpful to others. Save us from selfishness and self-centeredness. Teach us the great lesson of service. May we have the mind of Christ, who came not to be served but to serve. May we serve one another in love. May we live to help others and do good.
    Help us to see the needs we can meet, to perceive the ways we can serve, and then give us the true spirit of ministry so that we may do the things that will bless others. Fill us with Your Spirit so that we may be like You. We ask all this in the name of our Savior. Amen.
That God will physically, live among men as King over loving subjects; as Father over His children in a happy family set up and as God over His redeemed and people. *"And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God"*. This is the beginning of heaven, happy and holy eternity. *Question* Are you getting prepared for heaven in the practical sense of it? If Not, then you don't actually, believe in heaven. *2. Pacification with Happiness* a. The Apostle further gave a glimpse of how we will feel in heaven. *"And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes"*. Tears of sorrow, anguish, lost loved ones, physical and psychological pains, etc.will all be forgotten. This is difficult to imagine for man. It is like imagining how God promised that *"your sins and iniquities will I remember no more"*. We don't have a problem with God forgiving our sins, but God forgetting our sins will be difficult to imagine. We will all forget the painful past as we will be overwhelmed with the glory of God for eternity. *"There shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away"*. The pains and the tears, called *"light afflictions"* will be for a moment. They will not survive the joy of eternity. b. For those who have difficulty with believing, *"he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful"*. Heaven is prepared already. When Jesus Christ was about going to heaven, He assured the disciples of going to build mansions for them. About 60 years later, when John saw the revelation, he was told by the Lord that it was done. It means it is a settled and concluded matter. *"And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end"*. In heaven there will not be any heat or tension, but total refreshments and happiness. *"I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely"*. Everything God has will be totally ours. All the gifts of God, physical or spiritual, will belong to us as possessions. Nothing needed or useful will be denied. We suffer different lacks while on earth. Heaven will be the opposite. *"He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son"*. Are you an overcomer over sin, Satan and all his temptations? *Question* What are the things you are suffering on earth? Do you see them as temporary? *3. Punishment of Hell* What are the things that will disqualify any from entering heaven? What would be the abode of those who will miss heaven? The answer is fearful. *"But the fearful, and unbelieving"*. Every evil action stems from fear and unbelief. Unbelief of what God has spoken and the consequences of disobedience, fear of man and what man can do are terrible paralysing feelings that draw men to perdition. *"And the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars"*. Notice that all those sins are now also found inside the Church among professing saints. So there will be eternal surprises when those who profess that heaven is their home find themselves in a totally different place called hell. They *"shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone*. *Question* Are you transparently free from all sins? *Prayer Points* 1.Give praises to God that you are in that number saved by grace 🙏. 2.Ask God to search your life, expose, purge and cleanse you from all disqualifying habits 🙏. 3.Pray that the vision of heaven will get brighter and brighter to you and your mind and affections will be focused on heavenly things 🙏. 4.Pray that all believers will be delivered from all forms of self deception and will take entering heaven more seriously 🙏. *HYMN:* How Beautiful Heaven Must Be. *BIBLE IN ONE YEAR:* JOB 16-18. His last words, as testified by survivors, were "I have seen heaven, and it is beautiful" and "Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved." Despite his death, Harper used his final moments to preach the gospel, expressing his deep assurance that beyond death lay a place of eternal peace. A rescued survivor testified that Harper, clinging to the wreckage, asked if he was saved and urged him to believe in Jesus Christ. The survivor later accepted Christ and called himself "the last convert of John Harper."* *Today's passage paints a breath-taking vision of the new heaven and new earth. John sees the Holy City, the New Jerusalem, descending from God, adorned like a bride. A powerful voice declares that God will dwell among His people, wiping away every tear. Death, mourning, crying, and pain will be gone forever. The former things will pass away, and everything will be made new. God, the Alpha and Omega, promises the water of life to those who thirst. But He also warns that those who reject Him (those living in sin, fear, unbelief) will face eternal separation in the lake of fire.* *In this world, we experience suffering in many forms such as loss, illness, disappointment, pain and injustice. But for those who belong to Christ, these trials are temporary. Christ assures us that a glorious future awaits us, one where God Himself will comfort us, and all suffering will cease. This hope should encourage believers to endure hardships with faith, knowing that one day, we will step into a place where joy is endless and pain is no more. It also calls us to live righteously, rejecting sin and embracing the promise of eternity with God.* *No matter what trials you face today, hold unto the hope of heaven. Let this promise strengthen your faith, drive you to share the gospel, and encourage you to live in readiness for Christ's return. A day is coming when all suffering will cease and there will be no more tears, pain or death. Morning Prayer for today. MP.i. Morning Prayer For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only [use] not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another. ⏤ Galatians 5:13 Let your religion be less of a theory and more of a love affair. ⏤ G.K. Chesterton O God, who has redeemed us by the precious blood of the Lamb, help us to live for Your praise and glory in all that we do. Since Jesus Christ has died for us and we are not our own, we want to live lives worthy of Your holiness. We confess and renounce all our sins. Teach us to hate sin and give us the grace to live soberly, righteously, and godly in this present world, to the glory of Your holy name. We ask You to reveal Yourself to us this morning as we go forth and to give us the assurance of Your presence. You have promised that as our days are, so shall our strength be, and that Your grace will always be sufficient for us. We cling to these promises as we enter a new day whose experiences we cannot predict. We do not know what dangers we will encounter, what burdens will be placed on us, what temptations will whisper in our ears, what pitfalls will lie in our path, or what insidious influences will threaten the purity of our souls. So we hide ourselves in You and trust You to keep us safe all day. We desire to be useful and helpful to others. Save us from selfishness and self-centeredness. Teach us the great lesson of service. May we have the mind of Christ, who came not to be served but to serve. May we serve one another in love. May we live to help others and do good. Help us to see the needs we can meet, to perceive the ways we can serve, and then give us the true spirit of ministry so that we may do the things that will bless others. Fill us with Your Spirit so that we may be like You. We ask all this in the name of our Savior. Amen. https://www.youdevotion.com/daily-prayer/miller/39/morning #taptapstudio #youdevotion.
