"For all who are of works of the Law are under a curse; for it is written: โCursed is everyone who does not abide by all the things written in the book of the Law, to do them.โ [11] Now, that no one is justified by the Law before God is evident; for, โthe righteous one will live by faith.โ [12] However, the Law is not of faith; on the contrary, โThe person who performs them will live by them.โ [13] Christ redeemed us from the curse of the Law, having become a curse for usโfor it is written: โCursed is everyone who hangs on a treeโโ [14] in order that in Christ Jesus the blessing of Abraham would come to the Gentiles, so that we would receive the promise of the Spirit through faith."
Being under the law comes with a curse. Living under legalistic religious demands is a doomed endeavor. You have to do it perfectly. You can't. You don't. That's why we are told that, "no one is justified by the Law before God." Living by faith, trusting in Jesus and his finished work as all that is needed for righteousness, comes with the blessing of Abraham.
Live by faith. Don't trust in your own obedience and ability to do the impossible.

"This is the way any person is to regard us: as servants of Christ and stewards of the mysteries of God."
Many people who have been deceived into believing false Gospels, those that add any human effort to salvation, which is a gift from God to all those who place their faith in Jesus alone, think that they are servants of Christ because they go about spreading their false gospels. BUT they believe in a different gospel and follow a different christ.
Ministers of the true gospel are "stewards of the mysteries of God." The word "steward" was translated from the Greek word ฮฟฮนฬฮบฮฟฮฝฮฟฬฮผฮฟฯ, pronounced oy-kon-om'-os, and it means, according to Strong's Exhaustive Dictionary, "a house distributor (that is manager) or overseer that is an employee in that capacity; by extension a fiscal agent (treasurer); figuratively ๐ฎ ๐ฝ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ฎ๐ฐ๐ต๐ฒ๐ฟ (๐ผ๐ณ ๐๐ต๐ฒ ๐๐ผ๐๐ฝ๐ฒ๐น): - chamberlain governor steward."
Preachers of the true gospel preach about the mysteries of God.
1 Corinthians 2:7-13 NASB
"but we speak Godโs wisdom in a mystery, the hidden wisdom which God predestined before the ages to our glory; [8] the wisdom which none of the rulers of this age has understood; for if they had understood it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory; [9] but just as it is written: โThings which eye has not seen and ear has not heard, And which have not entered the human heart, All that God has prepared for those who love Him.โ [10] For to us God revealed them through the Spirit; for the Spirit searches all things, even the depths of God. [11] For who among people knows the thoughts of a person except the spirit of the person that is in him? So also the thoughts of God no one knows, except the Spirit of God. [12] Now we have not received the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, so that we may know the things freely given to us by God. [13] We also speak these things, not in words taught by human wisdom, but in those taught by the Spirit, combining spiritual thoughts with spiritual words."
The great mystery is this: that God would so love us that he withheld nothing from us, even offering up the body and blood of his own son for us, so that if we'd only believe in Jesus and his finished work at Calvary as being sufficient for our salvation, that we would be given the righteousness of God in Christ, salvation, redemption, justification, sanctification and inherit eternal life through no effort of our own or any of our own works through obedience to the commandments.
Anything else is a false Gospel. Anyone offering you a Jesus who wasn't enough is offering you a false Jesus and a different Jesus.

"Then he believed in the Lord; and He credited it to him as righteousness. [7] And He said to him, โI am the Lord who brought you out of Ur of the Chaldeans, to give you this land to possess it.โ [8] But he said, โLord God, how may I know that I will possess it?'โ
Look at that! Look and see how quickly belief can turn to doubt.
Yes, Abraham believed. Yes, God gave him right standing, not because of his actions but simply because he believed God had told him the truth. The Apostle Paul made Abraham's righteousness through faith a significant point of the gospel message, and he was right in doing so. Belief is what Jesus told Nicodemus was necessary to inherit eternal life.
Abraham believed God. God accounted Abraham's belief as enough reason to give right standing to Abraham. Yet, in the next line, we read that God said something else to Abraham right after Abraham was declared righteous. God told Abraham that he would possess the land he was in, and Abraham's response to this new promise? Doubt. "How will I know that I will possess it," he asked?
Keep the faith! Doubts are normal and natural, but, when it comes to God's word, never believe your doubts or doubt your belief in Him.

"And when you were dead in your wrongdoings and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He made you alive together with Him, having forgiven us all our wrongdoings, [14] having ๐ฐ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฐ๐ฒ๐น๐น๐ฒ๐ฑ the ๐ฐ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐๐ถ๐ณ๐ถ๐ฐ๐ฎ๐๐ฒ of debt ๐ฐ๐ผ๐ป๐๐ถ๐๐๐ถ๐ป๐ด ๐ผ๐ณ ๐ฑ๐ฒ๐ฐ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ฒ๐ against us, ๐๐ต๐ถ๐ฐ๐ต ๐๐ฎ๐ ๐ต๐ผ๐๐๐ถ๐น๐ฒ ๐๐ผ ๐๐; and He has taken it out of the way, having ๐ป๐ฎ๐ถ๐น๐ฒ๐ฑ it to the cross."
We believers were spiritually dead in sin and guilty of wrongdoings too, but Jesus washed that all away and made us spiritually alive! That born again spiritual life is "eternal life." We will never be judged again for our sins, because even the "๐ฐ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐๐ถ๐ณ๐ถ๐ฐ๐ฎ๐๐ฒ" "๐ฐ๐ผ๐ป๐๐ถ๐๐๐ถ๐ป๐ด ๐ผ๐ณ ๐ฑ๐ฒ๐ฐ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ฒ๐" "๐๐ต๐ถ๐ฐ๐ต ๐๐ฎ๐ ๐ต๐ผ๐๐๐ถ๐น๐ฒ ๐๐ผ ๐๐" has been "๐ฐ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฐ๐ฒ๐น๐น๐ฒ๐ฑ" and "๐ป๐ฎ๐ถ๐น๐ฒ๐ฑ" to the cross.
What is this certificate consisting of decrees that are hostile to us?
Ephesians 2:15-16 NASB
"by abolishing in His flesh the hostility, ๐๐ต๐ถ๐ฐ๐ต ๐ถ๐ ๐๐ต๐ฒ ๐๐ฎ๐ composed of commandments expressed in ordinances, so that in Himself He might make the two one new person, in this way establishing peace; [16] and that He might reconcile them both in one body to God through the cross, by it having put to death the hostility."
Notice the answer. The thing hostile to us consisting of decrees, ๐ฐ๐ผ๐บ๐ฝ๐ผ๐๐ฒ๐ฑ ๐ผ๐ณ ๐ฐ๐ผ๐บ๐บ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ๐บ๐ฒ๐ป๐๐, is the law. It is NOT the ordinances themselves.

Ephesians 2:14-15 AMPC
"For He is [Himself] our peace (our bond of unity and harmony). He has made us both [Jew and Gentile] one [body], and has broken down (destroyed, abolished) the hostile dividing wall between us, [15] By abolishing in His [own crucified] flesh the enmity [caused by] ๐๐ต๐ฒ ๐๐ฎ๐ ๐๐ถ๐๐ต ๐ถ๐๐ ๐ฑ๐ฒ๐ฐ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ฒ๐ ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐ผ๐ฟ๐ฑ๐ถ๐ป๐ฎ๐ป๐ฐ๐ฒ๐ [which He annulled]; that He from the two might create in Himself one new man [one new quality of humanity out of the two], so making peace."
How can the commandments be "๐ต๐ผ๐๐๐ถ๐น๐ฒ" to us? Because to be subject to them, to be under them, we are held accountable to our performance at obeying them. If we disobey, if we break them, which we do, which we did, we were guilty of sin, and the wages of sin is death (Romans 6:23).
The good news is that we are no longer under the law. We are under grace (Romans 6:14). How's that possible? Because, for the believer, the law has been "๐ฐ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฐ๐ฒ๐น๐น๐ฒ๐ฑ," so we are no longer accountable to it. We are dead to it (Romans 7:4). We canโt keep the law. The Jews thought they could. They watered it down to ways in which they believed they were keeping it. Jesus showed them how high the standard was. The standard is perfection. - Demons & Devils Believe?
James 2:19 NASB
โYou believe that God is one. You do well; the demons also believe, and shudder.โ
Believing God is, as James pointed out, one thing, but putting your trust in him alone for your salvation is another. Besides, whether James still hadnโt fully grasped new covenant thinking or not when the letter was penned, Hebrews 11:1 makes it clear that seeing isnโt believing. Believing is placing faith in Jesus without even seeing.
Meanwhile, Jamesโ entire point of the chapter is to demonstrate that seeing IS believing for the rest of the unsaved. He wants us to โproveโ our faith to unbelievers by showing it through good works towards others.
We, of course, need not prove anything to anyone. We just stand sure in our faith and follow the directions of the Holy Spirit in our lives. Good works will flow out of our grateful hearts for the grace shown to us. We will want to do good for others.
Devils believe, but they do not believe into salvation. They believe the word of God, but they donโt place their trust, their reliance or their confidence in Jesus. They are still in rebellion.
Christian believers trust in, rely on and give full confidence to Jesus for their salvation. They are not in rebellion. They have willingly submitted to Jesusโ lordship in their lives.
Our kind of belief is Bible belief in Jesus. Bible belief is not just a warm and fuzzy feeling it must be true. Demons ๐๐๐๐ itโs true. Bible belief is to trust in, rely on, and give full confidence to Jesus for your salvation. Demons ๐ ๐๐โ๐ do that.

Is your conscience convicting you into shame, remorse, regret and even self loathing? Move forward in faith that the word is true.
Look at what the word says about believers.
Romans 4:7-8 NASB
โBlessed are those whose lawless deeds have been forgiven, And whose sins have been covered. [8] โBlessed is the man whose sin the Lord will not take into account.โ
True? Yes! So, accept it. Embrace it. Shake off the guilt, the shame, the remorse, the bad conscience. Walk in the grace God has given you through your faith in Jesus.
Press forward, and don't let the desires of your flesh rule you. We all make mistakes, but thank God our mistakes in life don't affect our eternal life or our relationship with him. We are adopted. We are accepted. Rebuke the devil. Rebuke your own soul's conscience that is convicting you. Shake it all off and learn from it in order to do the right thing next time. Sin is bad. There are real world consequences, even physical ones to our mistakes. Jesus told a man he healed to, "sin not, lest a worse thing come upon you."
Hebrews 4:16 NASB
"Therefore letโs approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace for help at the time of our need."
We have a great confidence from our position in Christ. Is it based on our performance? No. We sin. We screw up. We are still broken people in recovery from our past. It is based on our position. Where are we positioned? In Christ.
We walk in faith believing we are redeemed, justified and sanctified by the blood of Jesus which was shed for us despite how bad we have been, how bad we are or how bad we can become.
1 Peter 1:23 says, โfor you have been born again not of seed which is perishable but imperishable, that is, through the living and enduring word of God.โ
The imperishable seed endures forever.
Peter even tells us in 1 Peter 1:4-5 that our hope is, โto obtain an inheritance which is ๐ถ๐บ๐ฝ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ถ๐๐ต๐ฎ๐ฏ๐น๐ฒ, ๐๐ป๐ฑ๐ฒ๐ณ๐ถ๐น๐ฒ๐ฑ, and ๐๐ถ๐น๐น ๐ป๐ผ๐ ๐ณ๐ฎ๐ฑ๐ฒ ๐ฎ๐๐ฎ๐, ๐ฃ๐๐ค๐๐ฃ๐ง๐๐ ๐๐ ๐๐๐๐ง๐๐ ๐๐ ๐ฃ ๐ช๐ ๐ฆ, who ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ฒ ๐ฝ๐ฟ๐ผ๐๐ฒ๐ฐ๐๐ฒ๐ฑ ๐ฏ๐ ๐๐ต๐ฒ ๐ฝ๐ผ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ ๐ผ๐ณ ๐๐ผ๐ฑ ๐๐ต๐ฟ๐ผ๐๐ด๐ต ๐ณ๐ฎ๐ถ๐๐ต ๐ณ๐ผ๐ฟ ๐ฎ ๐๐ฎ๐น๐๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ฎ๐ฑ๐ ๐๐ผ ๐ฏ๐ฒ ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐๐ฒ๐ฎ๐น๐ฒ๐ฑ in the last time.โ
We are human. Humans sin. We all fall short. Praise God that when we believers sin, our human condition doesnโt affect our spiritual condition or void our right standing with God.
We keep moving forward. Nothing we do can stop the love of God in our lives.
#jesus #grace #faith #believe #crossDid you mess up? Did you sin? Is your conscience convicting you into shame, remorse, regret and even self loathing? Move forward in faith that the word is true. Look at what the word says about believers. ๐๐๐ Romans 4:7-8 NASB โBlessed are those whose lawless deeds have been forgiven, And whose sins have been covered. [8] โBlessed is the man whose sin the Lord will not take into account.โ True? Jesus told a man he healed to, "sin not, lest a worse thing come upon you." Hebrews 4:16 NASB "Therefore letโs approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace for help at the time of our need." - No one needs the definition of good works. We know what those are. I could tell you most assuredly though that nothing we can produce could even remotely come close to the good works that would be necessary to secure our right standing with God. Thankfully, we receive righteousness now, not because of our performance, but by placing our faith in Jesus and his finished work at the cross as being sufficient for our salvation.
Does this mean we do nothing in the body of Christ? Of course not! We do things. We are productive in the kingdom. We witness to others, we help others, we feed others, we go where we are led to go and we say what we are led to say. We are lights in the darkness showing the world "THE WAY."

- The ๐ฌ๐จ๐ง of God is mentioned in the OT.
Proverbs 30:4 NASB
Who has ascended into heaven and descended? Who has gathered the wind in His fists? Who has wrapped the waters in His garment? Who has established all the ends of the earth? What is His name or ๐๐ถ๐ ๐ฆ๐ผ๐ป's name? Surely you know!
Isaiah 7:14 NASB
Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, the virgin will conceive and give birth to a ๐ฌ๐จ๐ง, and she will name Him Immanuel.
Isaiah 9:6-7 NASB
For a Child will be born to us, a ๐ฌ๐จ๐ง will be given to us; And the government will rest on His shoulders; And His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace. [7] There will be no end to the increase of His government or of peace On the throne of David and over his kingdom, To establish it and to uphold it with justice and righteousness From then on and forevermore. The zeal of the Lord of armies will accomplish this.
Daniel 3:24-25 NASB
Then Nebuchadnezzar the king was astounded and stood up quickly; he said to his counselors, โWas it not three men that we threw bound into the middle of the fire?โ They replied to the king, โAbsolutely, O king.โ [25] He responded, โLook! I see four men untied and walking about in the middle of the fire unharmed, and the appearance of the fourth is like a ๐ฌ๐จ๐ง of the gods!โ
Hosea 11:1 NASB
When Israel was a youth I loved him, And out of Egypt I called My ๐ฌ๐จ๐ง.

- Romans 8:3-4 NKJV
For what the law could not do in that it was weak through the flesh, God did by sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, on account of sin: He condemned sin in the flesh, that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.
Walking according to the Spirit is NOT a matter of performance. It's a matter of focus.
When a person is walking according to the flesh, they focus on themselves and their own works, their own efforts to please themselves and/or God. Trying your best to keep God pleased by your own obedience to the commandments is still walking in the flesh. Your performance won't save you -- not in the least bit.
Romans 8:5 NASB
For those who are in accord with the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who are in accord with the Spirit, the things of the Spirit.
What are you focused on? Is it sin? Is it on what you are doing or not doing? Set your mind instead on what the Holy Spirit is doing, what the Spirit is teaching you.
Romans 8:6-8 NASB
For the mind set on the flesh is death, but the mind set on the Spirit is life and peace, because the mind set on the flesh is hostile toward God; for it does not subject itself to the law of God, for it is not even able to do so, and those who are in the flesh cannot please God.
Those who THINK they are obeying the commandments are WRONG. Just like Jesus told that young ruler, "with man it is impossible." They are walking according to the flesh and not resting in the perfection of Christ.
Hebrews 11:6 NASB
And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for the one who comes to God must believe that He exists, and that He proves to be One who rewards those who seek Him.
Romans 8:9-10 NASB - However, you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. But if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Him. If Christ is in you, though the body is dead because of sin, yet the spirit is alive because of righteousness.
Faith in the correct object of faith pleases God. Seek him; not what you do for him.Romans 8:3-4 NKJV For what the law could not do in that it was weak through the flesh, God did by sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, on account of sin: He condemned sin in the flesh, that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit. "The good person out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth what is good; and the evil person out of the evil treasure brings forth what is evil; for his mouth speaks from that which fills his heart."
Pay attention to criticism you receive from legalistic people, and you will perceive that their hearts need healing. You simply state the gospel truth that you are saved by grace through faith in Jesus, your sins ARE forgiven, no sin will be held to your account, and they will accuse you of wanting to continue in sin without consequences. They will chastise you with statements like, "we are free from sin, but we don't have a license to sin" and "the cross isn't a get out of jail free card."
Legalism causes its victims to be sin conscious rather than resting in the righteousness of God in Christ and convinces them that we must just want to go about acting badly now that we have the forgiveness of sins. They want you to be sin conscious too.
The truth is ... being born again and set free from sin doesn't encourage people to sin will-nilly. The two things seem irrational at best and completely inconsistent. Any true believer would have dissonance at the mere suggestion, but they don't truly believe in the sufficiency of Jesus' finished work. They believe in self and think they must add their own efforts to what has already been accomplished at the cross to ensure their eternal lives.

We believers are the body of Christ. We ARE the church. All people, regardless of race or history or any other factor, who have placed their faith in Jesus and his finished work as sufficient for their salvation are members together of the body.
Romans 12:4-5 NASB
"For just as we have many parts in one body and all the bodyโs parts do not have the same function, [5] so we, who are many, are one body in Christ, and individually parts of one another."
The new covenant, not the new one with Israel and Judah (Jeremiah 31:31-34) but the one between the Father and the Son, the one written in the sacrificial blood of Jesus that he called the "๐ฐ๐๐ฝ", is for the benefit of the church.
Luke 22:41-42 NASB
"And He withdrew from them about a stoneโs throw, and He knelt down and began to pray, [42] saying, โFather, if You are willing, remove ๐๐ต๐ถ๐ ๐ฐ๐๐ฝ from Me; yet not My will, but Yours be done.'โ
Luke 22:20 NASB
"And in the same way He took the cup after they had eaten, saying, โThis ๐ฐ๐๐ฝ, which is poured out for you, is the new covenant in My blood."
John 18:10-11 KJV
"Then Simon Peter having a sword drew it, and smote the high priest's servant, and cut off his right ear. The servant's name was Malchus. [11] Then said Jesus unto Peter, Put up thy sword into the sheath: the ๐ฐ๐๐ฝ which my Father hath given me, shall I not drink it?"
We believers are made partakers in the ๐ฐ๐๐ฝ, the new blood atonement covenant between the Father and the Son, because we are in Christ as one body.
Galatians 3:24-29 NASB
"Therefore the Law has become our guardian to lead us to Christ, so that we may be justified by faith. [25] But now that faith has come, we are no longer under a guardian. [26] For you are all sons and daughters of God through faith in Christ Jesus. [27] For all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. [28] There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus. [29] And if you belong to Christ, then you are Abrahamโs descendants, heirs according to promise."

- We are supposed to be imitators of Jesus.
Ephesians 5:1-2 NASB
Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children; [2] and walk in love, just as Christ also loved you and gave Himself up for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God as a fragrant aroma.
How should we imitate Jesus? Walk in love and service to others. Notice that our love walk is what was emphasized; not our performance -- not our adherence to the commandments.
So, Paul also said we should be imitators of himself.
1 Corinthians 4:15-16 NASB
"For if you were to have countless tutors in Christ, yet you would not have many fathers, for in Christ Jesus I became your father through the gospel. [16] Therefore I urge you, ๐ฏ๐ฒ ๐ถ๐บ๐ถ๐๐ฎ๐๐ผ๐ฟ๐ ๐ผ๐ณ ๐บ๐ฒ."
Why would Paul want us to imitate him? Jesus was born of a woman and born under the law (Galatians 4:4). Our Lord operated while on earth within the confines of the old covenant, because the new covenant wasn't ushered in until Mt. Calvary. Jesus was born by a Jewish mother who was married to a Jewish man, and he was raised as a Jew in a Jewish home, according to Jewish laws and traditions. He kept the Sabbath, honored the feast days and kept the law perfectly.
Saul, on the other hand, an old covenant Pharisee, a Pharisee of Pharisees, met the risen and ascended Christ while he was on the road to hunt for Christians he could make examples of, and Saul was changed. He even changed his name identity from the Jewish Saul to the Roman Paul.
Led by the Holy Spirit to let go of his dependence upon the law and rely completely upon the presence of God in his life, Paul received the revelation of the mystery of the gospel and grace rather than law became his new paramount value.
Rather than teach adherence to the commandments, Paul taught that genuine transformation and exhibition of the Fruit of the Spirit comes through embracing the gift of grace; not striving to be perfect as God is perfect.
Titus 2:11-12 NASB
"For the ๐ด๐ฟ๐ฎ๐ฐ๐ฒ of God has appeared, bringing salvation to all people, [12] ๐ถ๐ป๐๐๐ฟ๐๐ฐ๐๐ถ๐ป๐ด ๐๐ to ๐ฑ๐ฒ๐ป๐ ๐๐ป๐ด๐ผ๐ฑ๐น๐ถ๐ป๐ฒ๐๐ ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐๐ผ๐ฟ๐น๐ฑ๐น๐ ๐ฑ๐ฒ๐๐ถ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ and to ๐น๐ถ๐๐ฒ ๐๐ฒ๐ป๐๐ถ๐ฏ๐น๐, ๐ฟ๐ถ๐ด๐ต๐๐ฒ๐ผ๐๐๐น๐, ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐ถ๐ป ๐ฎ ๐ด๐ผ๐ฑ๐น๐ ๐บ๐ฎ๐ป๐ป๐ฒ๐ฟ in the present age,"

- We believers ARE Holy because we are in Christ. We have the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. There can be no better righteousness than that. It isn't our holiness. It is his.
Do we deserve such designation by God? No, of course not. That's grace. It is undeserved, unmerited, unearned favor from God through our faith in his son Jesus who was crucified as payment for our sins.
So, we believers are seen by God as holy, sanctified, justified, clean, worthy and acceptable not by our performance but by our position. Where is the believer positioned? The believer is securely positioned in Christ. We believers ARE Holy because we are in Christ. We have the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. There can be no better righteousness than that. Mark 2:27-28 KJV
"And he said unto them, The sabbath was made for man, and not man for the sabbath: [28] Therefore the Son of man is Lord also of the sabbath."
Well ... yes, of course, we are told in 1 Timothy 6:15 that Jesus is King of Kings and Lord of Lords! He most certainly is Lord of the Sabbath too. He was saying he can do whatever he wants on the Sabbath. He's the Son of God.
PLUS, look
John 5:15-18 KJV
The man departed, and told the Jews that it was Jesus, which had made him whole. [16] And therefore did the Jews persecute Jesus, and sought to slay him, because he had done these things on the sabbath day. [17] But Jesus answered them, My Father worketh hitherto, and I work. [18] Therefore the Jews sought the more to kill him, because he not only had broken the sabbath, but said also that God was his Father, making himself equal with God.
Look at that. God doesn't keep the Sabbath. He works every day. He took one day off after he finished the work of creation. That's all. He rested on the seventh day; not the fourteenth, not the twenty first, not the twenty eighth day.
Go ahead and honor the Sabbath by resting a day, if that's what you think is right, but don't condemn those who are free to honor every day as a day the Lord has made (Psalm 118:24).

That's churchianity teaching, but it isn't in the Bible.
The Spirit convicts the unbelievers of sin -- not the believers. There is no condemnation for those in Christ -- not in the least bit.
Romans 8:1 NASB
โTherefore there is now no condemnation at all for those who are in Christ Jesus.โ
Speaking of the Holy Spirit Jesus said in John 16:8, โAnd He, when He comes, will convict the world regarding sin, and righteousness, and judgment:โ

John 16:10 NASB

For a believer, the Holy Spirit is called the comforter - not the convictor. There is no comfort in conviction. There is only condemnation, and we know there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ.
