    TITLE: "Leading with Integrity and Godly Example"

    ANCHOR SCRIPTURE(S)

    Psalm 78:72 (KJV) "So he fed them according to the integrity of his heart; and guided them by the skilfulness of his hands."

    1 Timothy 4:12 (KJV) "Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity."

    QUOTE TO REFLECT ON

    "The greatest leaders are remembered not only for what they achieved, but for the godly character they displayed."

    DAY'S REFLECTION

    King David's leadership was marked by two outstanding qualities: integrity of heart and skill in action. He cared for God's people with sincerity and led them with wisdom. His effectiveness did not come merely from his abilities but from a heart devoted to God. Excellence in leadership begins with character before it is expressed through competence.

    Paul gave Timothy similar counsel. Though Timothy was young, he was not to allow his age to become an excuse or a limitation. Instead, he was to become an example in speech, conduct, love, faith, and purity. God measures leadership by influence and character rather than age, status, or position.

    Imagine a newly appointed teacher entering a classroom for the first time. The students may initially question the teacher's ability because of a youthful appearance. However, as the teacher consistently demonstrates fairness, preparation, respect, and genuine care, confidence grows, and the class responds positively. In the same way, a believer earns lasting influence through a life that consistently reflects Christ.

    Whether you lead a family, a ministry, a classroom, a business, or simply influence friends and neighbours, remember that people are watching your example. Let your words encourage, your actions inspire, and your character honour God. When integrity and godliness guide your life, God will use you to impact others for His Kingdom.

    MEDITATION SCRIPTURE(S) WITH FULL VERSES

    Proverbs 11:3 (KJV) "The integrity of the upright shall guide them: but the perverseness of transgressors shall destroy them."

    Matthew 5:16 (KJV) "Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven."

    LIFE LESSONS (IMPLICATIONS)

    1. Integrity is the foundation of effective leadership.

    2. God values character as much as ability.

    3. Every believer is called to be a godly example.

    4. Influence grows through consistent faithfulness.

    5. A Christ-like life brings glory to God and inspires others.

    EVERYDAY ACTION

    Speak words that encourage others.

    Act with honesty in every situation.

    Be a positive example wherever you go.

    Let your decisions reflect Christ.

    PRAYER

    Heavenly Father, give me a heart of integrity and help me to be a faithful example in my words, actions, and character. In Jesus' name, Amen.

    DECLARATION

    I will lead with integrity and wisdom. My life reflects the character of Christ. I am a godly example to others. God strengthens my influence for His glory.
    Everything I do will honour the Lord.

  • Good morning, brethren.
    1. Morning devotion for today.

    MD.i. MORNING TEA
    THE WORD FOR TODAY
    SUNDAY JULY 19, 2026.
    "THE LONELINESS OF LEADERSHIP"

    β€˜β€¦That you may not bear it yourself alone.’  Numbers 11:17 NKJV

    MOSES SAID to God, β€˜Why have You…laid the burden of all these people on me?’ (v. 11 NKJV). God replied, β€˜β€¦Gather to Me seventy men…I will take of the Spirit that is upon you and will put the same upon them…that you may not bear it yourself alone’ (vv. 16-17 NKJV). Identify your God-given strengths, then delegate the rest to those who have strengths in your areas of weakness. Every leader is responsible for areas in which they have little or no competence. And when they try to exercise authority in those areas, they hinder everything and everybody under their watch. Put bluntly, there are things you are responsible for that you’ll never be good at, that you need to keep your nose out of and give to others! Why do we have such a hard time doing this? 1) Pride. Success is intoxicating and intoxicated people don’t think too clearly. We assume our abilities are broader than they actually are. Admitting weakness doesn’t make you less effective; it just confirms what everybody around you already knows! 2) Ignorance. We feel bad about delegating our weak areas because we assume everybody hates to do what we hate to do. Not so. You’re allowing others to shine; your limitations are their opportunities. 3) Independence. We think if the job is to be done β€˜right’ we must do it ourselves. But leadership isn’t just about getting things done; it’s about getting things done through others. If you can’t find somebody to hand things to, look in the mirror! The people who follow you are exactly where you’ve led them! If you’ve nobody to delegate things to, guess who needs to change?

    ```TEXT:EXODUS 3:16-22```
    ```KEY VERSE:``` _*"Go, and gather the elders of Israel together, and say unto them, The LORD God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, of Isaac, and of Jacob, appeared unto me, saying, I have surely visited you, and seen that which is done to you in Egypt" (EXODUS 3:16).*_

    *Gladys Aylward (1902 - 1970), was a British domestic servant who felt a strong calling to serve as a missionary in China in the 1930s. Gladys felt a conviction to go to China, despite having limited education and resources. She applied to the _China Inland Mission (CIM),_ but they rejected her, deeming her "unsuitable." Undeterred, she saved her own money and, in 1932, embarked on a perilous journey by train across Siberia, for she could not afford travel by sea. She arrived in Yangcheng, China, and worked with an elderly missionary, Jeannie Lawson. After Lawson's death, Gladys took over the mission, becoming known as "Ai-weh-deh" (the virtuous one). She learned the language, adopted Chinese customs, and tirelessly served the local people. Her obedience to God's calling, resulted in her being able to save many lives and influence many people.*

    *Like Gladys, Moses received instructions from God to go to Pharaoh with His message of deliverance of the Israelites. Six times in this short passage, God used the verb "go" to pass instructions to Moses. Humanly speaking, nothing would have made Moses return of his free will to Egypt, because he was a fugitive from justice. But when God's call came, Moses chose to obey.*

    *God gave Moses the blueprint of his assignment in Egypt. He was to first gather the elders of Israel and share the plan of God for their deliverance with them. Along with the leaders, he would approach Pharaoh and deliver the same message. The resistance of Pharaoh would be countered by God's power such that when the Israelites would eventually leave, they would spoil the Egyptians by going with their jewellery and raiment as compensations for their years of servitude.*

    *Just like God sent Moses to Egypt, so He is sending us to the world to share the good news of the cross and deliverance from sin to all and sundry. The assignment is tough and the road may be rough, but God promised to be with us. He was with Moses and other faithful saints of old and He will be with you too today, if you will go and do what He says.*

    *When people are erring, there are a number of ways of correcting them. It could be by advice, counselling, rebuke or reproof. Parents are even urged to smite or cane a stubborn child to "drive" foolishness out of him or her. Some people take the correction in good faith and change, while others would remain obdurate.*

    *In our study today, Apostle Paul used reproof on the Galatians who had been deceived by the over-zealous Jewish Christians, saying, "O foolish Galatians, who hath bewitched you, that ye should not obey the truth...?"*

    *The Galatians had been made to believe that they needed to add works to their faith by keeping the Old Testament laws, particularly the circumcision of the flesh, in order to be justified. Paul reminded them that they had received the Spirit by faith, not by works.*

    *Beloved, beware of erroneous doctrines peddled through books, the social media and the internet. Many youths have lost their faith by these means. As a Christian, beware of the company you keep, so that you are not also deceived like the Galatian believers.*

    ```1 THESSALONIANS 4:1-7```
    ```Key Verse:``` _*"Furthermore then we beseech you, brethren, and exhort you by the Lord Jesus, that as ye have received of us how ye ought to walk and to please God, so ye would abound more and more" (1 Thessalonians 4:1).*_

    Living to please God should be the desire of all friends of Jesus. Apostle Paul lived his life to please God who called him. He wrote this epistle to the Thessalonian Christians to encourage them to also please God in all they do.

    We are reading this letter to the Thessalonians today and receiving the same charge or challenge to please God daily in all we do, say and think. No one can live to please God in his or her power. Only God, by His grace, enables us to do this.

    This grace is available to as many as would come to Jesus. A boy or girl who is still living in sin, doing bad things, like fighting, telling lies, stealing, moving with bad friends, and doing other evil things, cannot receive this grace.

    *Such a person must first come out of sin by confessing to Jesus, asking for forgiveness and cleansing through His precious blood, and inviting Him to be his or her Saviour and Lord.*

    *If you are a friend of Jesus, be conscious of how you live so that you will not displease, instead of pleasing God. Ask God daily for His grace to help you please Him. This will open doors of blessings to you.*

    ```rayer:``` _*God, help me to live to please You at all times.*_ 🏽
    *TRUSTING GOD’S PLAN FOR DIVINE DELIVERANCE*
    *TEXT:* EXODUS 3:16–22
    16. Go, and gather the elders of Israel together, and say unto them, The LORD God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, of Isaac, and of Jacob, appeared unto me, saying, I have surely visited you, and seen that which is done to you in Egypt:
    17. and I have said, I will bring you up out of the affliction of Egypt unto the land of the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites, unto a land flowing with milk and honey.
    18. And they shall hearken to thy voice: and thou shalt come, thou and the elders of Israel, unto the king of Egypt, and ye shall say unto him, The LORD God of the Hebrews hath met with us: and now let us go, we beseech thee, three days' journey into the wilderness, that we may sacrifice to the LORD our God.
    19. And I am sure that the king of Egypt will not let you go, no, not by a mighty hand.
    20. And I will stretch out my hand, and smite Egypt with all my wonders which I will do in the midst thereof: and after that he will let you go.
    21. And I will give this people favour in the sight of the Egyptians: and it shall come to pass, that, when ye go, ye shall not go empty:
    22. but every woman shall borrow of her neighbour, and of her that sojourneth in her house, jewels of silver, and jewels of gold, and raiment: and ye shall put them upon your sons, and upon your daughters; and ye shall spoil the Egyptians.
    *Timeless Truth:* _The counsel of the LORD standeth for ever, The thoughts of his heart to all generations._ (Psalm 33:11)
    *INTRODUCTION*
    In 1940, during the Second World War, more than 330,000 Allied soldiers were trapped on the beaches of Dunkirk, France. Humanly speaking, escape seemed impossible. Yet through an extraordinary combination of military coordination, the courage of civilian boat owners and what many believers regarded as God's providential intervention, the soldiers were rescued in what became known as the Miracle of Dunkirk. What appeared to be certain defeat became an unforgettable deliverance because there was a greater plan at work than anyone could initially see.
    Likewise, the Israelites had spent over 400 years in Egyptian bondage. Their situation appeared hopeless, but God had neither forgotten His covenant nor abandoned His people. In Exodus 3:16–22, God revealed His plan of deliverance to Moses before a single plague had occurred or a single Israelite had left Egypt. God's promises always precede His performance.
    This passage teaches us that God's Word is trustworthy, His presence is unfailing, and His purposes cannot be frustrated.
    God's Plan Never Fails Exodus 3 reminds us that God is never surprised by our struggles. Before Israel saw the miracles of the Exodus, God had already announced His plan from beginning to end. Every step of deliverance unfolded according to His perfect wisdom. God provides everything needed for victory.
    Sometimes, like Moses, we focus on Pharaoh's power. God calls us to focus on His power. Sometimes, we may see delays. God sees preparation. Sometimes, we may see obstacles. God sees opportunities to display His glory. Our responsibility is not to understand every detail of God's plan, but to trust the One who designed it. *β€œFor I know the thoughts that I think toward you... thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you an expected end.”* (Jeremiah 29:11). When God promises deliverance, no enemy can permanently prevent it. His purposes will always prevail.
    Israel's deliverance began with a promise before it became a reality.The same is true for believers today. Will we trust God's promises while we wait for His perfect timing, believing that the God who begins His work will surely bring it to completion?
    *1. The Promise of God's Compassionate Purpose*
    God instructed Moses to gather the elders of Israel and assure them that He had seen their suffering and would deliver them. God's Personal Concern is for all believers to achieve their goals in life. God declared, β€œI have surely visited you.” He was fully aware of Israel's pain and affliction.
    b. God remembered the covenant He made with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. His promises never fail. God promised to bring His people into a land flowing with milk and honey. No matter how long our trials may last, God never forgets His people or His promises.
    *Questions*
    *(i)* Do I truly believe that God sees and cares about my present circumstances?
    *(ii)* Am I trusting God's promises even when His timing seems delayed?
    *2. The Power of God's Commanding Presence*
    a. God explained how Moses would approach Pharaoh and assured him that His mighty hand would accomplish the deliverance. Partnership with God's people will bring the expected results. Moses was instructed to work alongside Israel's elders. God often accomplishes His purposes through united believers.
    b. God foretold Pharaoh's resistance, but assured Moses that opposition would not prevent His plan. God promised to stretch out His hand with mighty wonders until Pharaoh released Israel. God's calling does not guarantee an easy path, but it guarantees His powerful presence.
    *Questions*
    *(i)* Am I discouraged by opposition or do I trust God's power to overcome obstacles?
    *(ii)* Am I cooperating with other believers in accomplishing God's work?
    *3. The Provision of God's Complete Victory*
    a. God promised that Israel would leave Egypt not empty-handed, but with favour and substance in abundance. God promised to give Israel favour in the sight of the Egyptians.
    b. The Israelites would receive silver, gold, and clothing as they departed.
    *_But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus._* (Philippians 4:19).
    Israel would leave Egypt completely delivered from bondage. God's salvation is complete. He not only delivers us from bondage, but also equips us for the journey ahead.
    *Questions*
    *(i)* Am I living in the freedom Christ has already provided?
    *(ii)* Am I recognizing and thanking God for His daily provision and favour?
    *Prayer Points*
    1. Lord, strengthen my faith to trust every promise You have spoken, even when I cannot yet see the outcome.
    2. Father, give me courage to obey You even when I face resistance or discouragement
    3. Lord, surround me with Your favour and provide all that I need to fulfill Your purpose.
    4. Heavenly Father, deliver me from every form of spiritual bondage and help me walk in the freedom Christ has given..
    *Hymn:* Hold to God's Unchanging Hands
    *BIBLE IN ONE YEAR:* EXODUS 8-11.
    2. Morning Prayer for today.
    MP.i. Morning Prayer
    But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew [their] strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; [and] they shall walk, and not faint. ⏀ Isaiah 40:31
    Sunday clears away the rust of the whole week. ⏀ Joseph Addison
    As we begin this holy Sunday, our Father, we ask for Your Sunday blessing. On this day, which reminds us of our Savior’s resurrection, may we rise to a holier, truer, and more heavenly life. May we walk in the light of Your love. As we wait on You, renew our strength so that we can run without growing weary and walk without fainting in the week ahead.
    We ask that You bless us in our private and public worship on this holy day. May Your blessing rest on all worshiping assemblies of Your people. May this be a day of spiritual renewal in all the churches. Bless all Sunday schools. May Your grace fill the heart of every teacher, and may every child who receives instruction be blessed through Your word. Bless all missionaries and fill them with Your Holy Spirit, preparing them for worthy service.
    We pray that You will bless us in our worship today. Help us leave behind every worldly thought and care as we enter Your sanctuary. As we wait before You, may we receive instruction from Your word and inspiration from Your Spirit, so that we may be strong for the battles and duties ahead. Help us today as we minister to others. May we bring love and peace to each other in our home. Help us bring comfort to those who are grieving, encouragement to those who are discouraged, and compassion to those who are in distress.
    We give ourselves to You for a Sunday filled with blessing, love, and peace. May our home receive new divine influences from above. May this be a shining day in the story of our lives. And we will give You the praise and the honor forever. Amen.
Humanly speaking, escape seemed impossible. Yet through an extraordinary combination of military coordination, the courage of civilian boat owners and what many believers regarded as God's providential intervention, the soldiers were rescued in what became known as the Miracle of Dunkirk. What appeared to be certain defeat became an unforgettable deliverance because there was a greater plan at work than anyone could initially see. Likewise, the Israelites had spent over 400 years in Egyptian bondage. Their situation appeared hopeless, but God had neither forgotten His covenant nor abandoned His people. In Exodus 3:16–22, God revealed His plan of deliverance to Moses before a single plague had occurred or a single Israelite had left Egypt. God's promises always precede His performance. This passage teaches us that God's Word is trustworthy, His presence is unfailing, and His purposes cannot be frustrated. God's Plan Never Fails Exodus 3 reminds us that God is never surprised by our struggles. Before Israel saw the miracles of the Exodus, God had already announced His plan from beginning to end. Every step of deliverance unfolded according to His perfect wisdom. God provides everything needed for victory. Sometimes, like Moses, we focus on Pharaoh's power. God calls us to focus on His power. Sometimes, we may see delays. God sees preparation. Sometimes, we may see obstacles. God sees opportunities to display His glory. Our responsibility is not to understand every detail of God's plan, but to trust the One who designed it. *β€œFor I know the thoughts that I think toward you... thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you an expected end.”* (Jeremiah 29:11). When God promises deliverance, no enemy can permanently prevent it. His purposes will always prevail. Israel's deliverance began with a promise before it became a reality.The same is true for believers today. Will we trust God's promises while we wait for His perfect timing, believing that the God who begins His work will surely bring it to completion? *1. The Promise of God's Compassionate Purpose* God instructed Moses to gather the elders of Israel and assure them that He had seen their suffering and would deliver them. God's Personal Concern is for all believers to achieve their goals in life. God declared, β€œI have surely visited you.” He was fully aware of Israel's pain and affliction. b. God remembered the covenant He made with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. His promises never fail. God promised to bring His people into a land flowing with milk and honey. No matter how long our trials may last, God never forgets His people or His promises. *Questions* *(i)* Do I truly believe that God sees and cares about my present circumstances? *(ii)* Am I trusting God's promises even when His timing seems delayed? *2. The Power of God's Commanding Presence* a. God explained how Moses would approach Pharaoh and assured him that His mighty hand would accomplish the deliverance. Partnership with God's people will bring the expected results. Moses was instructed to work alongside Israel's elders. God often accomplishes His purposes through united believers. b. God foretold Pharaoh's resistance, but assured Moses that opposition would not prevent His plan. God promised to stretch out His hand with mighty wonders until Pharaoh released Israel. God's calling does not guarantee an easy path, but it guarantees His powerful presence. *Questions* *(i)* Am I discouraged by opposition or do I trust God's power to overcome obstacles? *(ii)* Am I cooperating with other believers in accomplishing God's work? *3. The Provision of God's Complete Victory* a. God promised that Israel would leave Egypt not empty-handed, but with favour and substance in abundance. God promised to give Israel favour in the sight of the Egyptians. b. The Israelites would receive silver, gold, and clothing as they departed. *_But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus._* (Philippians 4:19). Israel would leave Egypt completely delivered from bondage. God's salvation is complete. He not only delivers us from bondage, but also equips us for the journey ahead. *Questions* *(i)* Am I living in the freedom Christ has already provided? *(ii)* Am I recognizing and thanking God for His daily provision and favour? *Prayer Points* 1. Lord, strengthen my faith to trust every promise You have spoken, even when I cannot yet see the outcome.πŸ™ 2. Father, give me courage to obey You even when I face resistance or discouragementπŸ™ 3. Lord, surround me with Your favour and provide all that I need to fulfill Your purpose.πŸ™ 4. Heavenly Father, deliver me from every form of spiritual bondage and help me walk in the freedom Christ has given.πŸ™. *Hymn:* Hold to God's Unchanging Hands *BIBLE IN ONE YEAR:* EXODUS 8-11. 2. Morning Prayer for today. MP.i. Morning Prayer But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew [their] strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; [and] they shall walk, and not faint. ⏀ Isaiah 40:31 Sunday clears away the rust of the whole week. ⏀ Joseph Addison As we begin this holy Sunday, our Father, we ask for Your Sunday blessing. On this day, which reminds us of our Savior’s resurrection, may we rise to a holier, truer, and more heavenly life. May we walk in the light of Your love. As we wait on You, renew our strength so that we can run without growing weary and walk without fainting in the week ahead. We ask that You bless us in our private and public worship on this holy day. May Your blessing rest on all worshiping assemblies of Your people. May this be a day of spiritual renewal in all the churches. Bless all Sunday schools. May Your grace fill the heart of every teacher, and may every child who receives instruction be blessed through Your word. Bless all missionaries and fill them with Your Holy Spirit, preparing them for worthy service. We pray that You will bless us in our worship today. Help us leave behind every worldly thought and care as we enter Your sanctuary. As we wait before You, may we receive instruction from Your word and inspiration from Your Spirit, so that we may be strong for the battles and duties ahead. Help us today as we minister to others. May we bring love and peace to each other in our home. Help us bring comfort to those who are grieving, encouragement to those who are discouraged, and compassion to those who are in distress. We give ourselves to You for a Sunday filled with blessing, love, and peace. May our home receive new divine influences from above. May this be a shining day in the story of our lives. And we will give You the praise and the honor forever. Amen. https://www.youdevotion.com/daily-prayer/miller/14/morning #taptapstudio #youdevotion.
  • Good morning, brethren.
    1. Morning devotion for today.
    MD.i. MORNING TEA
    THE WORD FOR TODAY
    SUNDAY JULY 19, 2026.
    "THE LONELINESS OF LEADERSHIP"
    β€˜β€¦That you may not bear it yourself alone.’  Numbers 11:17 NKJV
    MOSES SAID to God, β€˜Why have You…laid the burden of all these people on me?’ (v. 11 NKJV). God replied, β€˜β€¦Gather to Me seventy men…I will take of the Spirit that is upon you and will put the same upon them…that you may not bear it yourself alone’ (vv. 16-17 NKJV). Identify your God-given strengths, then delegate the rest to those who have strengths in your areas of weakness. Every leader is responsible for areas in which they have little or no competence. And when they try to exercise authority in those areas, they hinder everything and everybody under their watch. Put bluntly, there are things you are responsible for that you’ll never be good at, that you need to keep your nose out of and give to others! Why do we have such a hard time doing this? 1) Pride. Success is intoxicating and intoxicated people don’t think too clearly. We assume our abilities are broader than they actually are. Admitting weakness doesn’t make you less effective; it just confirms what everybody around you already knows! 2) Ignorance. We feel bad about delegating our weak areas because we assume everybody hates to do what we hate to do. Not so. You’re allowing others to shine; your limitations are their opportunities. 3) Independence. We think if the job is to be done β€˜right’ we must do it ourselves. But leadership isn’t just about getting things done; it’s about getting things done through others. If you can’t find somebody to hand things to, look in the mirror! The people who follow you are exactly where you’ve led them! If you’ve nobody to delegate things to, guess who needs to change?
    *Gladys Aylward (1902 - 1970), was a British domestic servant who felt a strong calling to serve as a missionary in China in the 1930s. Gladys felt a conviction to go to China, despite having limited education and resources. She applied to the _China Inland Mission (CIM),_ but they rejected her, deeming her "unsuitable." Undeterred, she saved her own money and, in 1932, embarked on a perilous journey by train across Siberia, for she could not afford travel by sea. She arrived in Yangcheng, China, and worked with an elderly missionary, Jeannie Lawson. After Lawson's death, Gladys took over the mission, becoming known as "Ai-weh-deh" (the virtuous one). She learned the language, adopted Chinese customs, and tirelessly served the local people. Her obedience to God's calling, resulted in her being able to save many lives and influence many people.*
    *God gave Moses the blueprint of his assignment in Egypt. He was to first gather the elders of Israel and share the plan of God for their deliverance with them.     Living to please God should be the desire of all friends of Jesus. Apostle Paul lived his life to please God who called him. He wrote this epistle to the Thessalonian Christians to encourage them to also please God in all they do.
    We are reading this letter to the Thessalonians today and receiving the same charge or challenge to please God daily in all we do, say and think. No one can live to please God in his or her power. Only God, by His grace, enables us to do this.
    b. God remembered the covenant He made with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. His promises never fail. God promised to bring His people into a land flowing with milk and honey. No matter how long our trials may last, God never forgets His people or His promises.
    *Questions*
    *(i)* Do I truly believe that God sees and cares about my present circumstances?
    *(ii)* Am I trusting God's promises even when His timing seems delayed?
    *2. The Power of God's Commanding Presence*
    a. God explained how Moses would approach Pharaoh and assured him that His mighty hand would accomplish the deliverance. Partnership with God's people will bring the expected results. Moses was instructed to work alongside Israel's elders. God often accomplishes His purposes through united believers.
    b. God foretold Pharaoh's resistance, but assured Moses that opposition would not prevent His plan. God promised to stretch out His hand with mighty wonders until Pharaoh released Israel. God's calling does not guarantee an easy path, but it guarantees His powerful presence.
    *Questions*
    *(i)* Am I discouraged by opposition or do I trust God's power to overcome obstacles?
    *(ii)* Am I cooperating with other believers in accomplishing God's work?
    *3. The Provision of God's Complete Victory*
    a. God promised that Israel would leave Egypt not empty-handed, but with favour and substance in abundance. God promised to give Israel favour in the sight of the Egyptians.
    b. The Israelites would receive silver, gold, and clothing as they departed.
    *_But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus._* (Philippians 4:19).
    Israel would leave Egypt completely delivered from bondage. God's salvation is complete. He not only delivers us from bondage, but also equips us for the journey ahead.
    *Questions*
    *(i)* Am I living in the freedom Christ has already provided?
    *(ii)* Am I recognizing and thanking God for His daily provision and favour?
    *Prayer Points*
    1. Lord, strengthen my faith to trust every promise You have spoken, even when I cannot yet see the outcome.
    2. Father, give me courage to obey You even when I face resistance or discouragement
    3. Lord, surround me with Your favour and provide all that I need to fulfill Your purpose.
    MP.i. Morning Prayer
    But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew [their] strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; [and] they shall walk, and not faint. ⏀ Isaiah 40:31
    Sunday clears away the rust of the whole week. ⏀ Joseph Addison
    As we begin this holy Sunday, our Father, we ask for Your Sunday blessing. On this day, which reminds us of our Savior’s resurrection, may we rise to a holier, truer, and more heavenly life. May we walk in the light of Your love. As we wait on You, renew our strength so that we can run without growing weary and walk without fainting in the week ahead.
    We ask that You bless us in our private and public worship on this holy day. May Your blessing rest on all worshiping assemblies of Your people. May this be a day of spiritual renewal in all the churches. Bless all Sunday schools. May Your grace fill the heart of every teacher, and may every child who receives instruction be blessed through Your word. Bless all missionaries and fill them with Your Holy Spirit, preparing them for worthy service.
    We pray that You will bless us in our worship today. Help us leave behind every worldly thought and care as we enter Your sanctuary. As we wait before You, may we receive instruction from Your word and inspiration from Your Spirit, so that we may be strong for the battles and duties ahead. Help us today as we minister to others. May we bring love and peace to each other in our home. Help us bring comfort to those who are grieving, encouragement to those who are discouraged, and compassion to those who are in distress.
    We give ourselves to You for a Sunday filled with blessing, love, and peace. May our home receive new divine influences from above. May this be a shining day in the story of our lives. And we will give You the praise and the honor forever. Amen.
    Good morning, brethren. 1. Morning devotion for today. MD.i. πŸ˜€πŸŒΉπŸŽ€πŸŽπŸ’πŸŒΊ MORNING TEA THE WORD FOR TODAY SUNDAY JULY 19, 2026. "THE LONELINESS OF LEADERSHIP" β€˜β€¦That you may not bear it yourself alone.’  Numbers 11:17 NKJV MOSES SAID to God, β€˜Why have You…laid the burden of all these people on me?’ (v. 11 NKJV). God replied, β€˜β€¦Gather to Me seventy men…I will take of the Spirit that is upon you and will put the same upon them…that you may not bear it yourself alone’ (vv. 16-17 NKJV). Identify your God-given strengths, then delegate the rest to those who have strengths in your areas of weakness. Every leader is responsible for areas in which they have little or no competence. And when they try to exercise authority in those areas, they hinder everything and everybody under their watch. Put bluntly, there are things you are responsible for that you’ll never be good at, that you need to keep your nose out of and give to others! Why do we have such a hard time doing this? 1) Pride. Success is intoxicating and intoxicated people don’t think too clearly. We assume our abilities are broader than they actually are. Admitting weakness doesn’t make you less effective; it just confirms what everybody around you already knows! 2) Ignorance. We feel bad about delegating our weak areas because we assume everybody hates to do what we hate to do. Not so. You’re allowing others to shine; your limitations are their opportunities. 3) Independence. We think if the job is to be done β€˜right’ we must do it ourselves. But leadership isn’t just about getting things done; it’s about getting things done through others. If you can’t find somebody to hand things to, look in the mirror! The people who follow you are exactly where you’ve led them! If you’ve nobody to delegate things to, guess who needs to change? Bible In A Year: Acts 22-23; Matt 10:32-42; Ps 65; Pro 16:6-9. Gladys felt a conviction to go to China, despite having limited education and resources. She applied to the _China Inland Mission (CIM),_ but they rejected her, deeming her "unsuitable." Undeterred, she saved her own money and, in 1932, embarked on a perilous journey by train across Siberia, for she could not afford travel by sea. She arrived in Yangcheng, China, and worked with an elderly missionary, Jeannie Lawson. After Lawson's death, Gladys took over the mission, becoming known as "Ai-weh-deh" (the virtuous one). She learned the language, adopted Chinese customs, and tirelessly served the local people. Her obedience to God's calling, resulted in her being able to save many lives and influence many people.* *Like Gladys, Moses received instructions from God to go to Pharaoh with His message of deliverance of the Israelites. Six times in this short passage, God used the verb "go" to pass instructions to Moses. Humanly speaking, nothing would have made Moses return of his free will to Egypt, because he was a fugitive from justice. But when God's call came, Moses chose to obey.* *God gave Moses the blueprint of his assignment in Egypt. He was to first gather the elders of Israel and share the plan of God for their deliverance with them. Along with the leaders, he would approach Pharaoh and deliver the same message. The resistance of Pharaoh would be countered by God's power such that when the Israelites would eventually leave, they would spoil the Egyptians by going with their jewellery and raiment as compensations for their years of servitude.* *Just like God sent Moses to Egypt, so He is sending us to the world to share the good news of the cross and deliverance from sin to all and sundry. The assignment is tough and the road may be rough, but God promised to be with us. He was with Moses and other faithful saints of old and He will be with you too today, if you will go and do what He says.* ✍🏽```THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:``` _*When God says "go" we need not add a question mark to it.*_ πŸ“œπŸ“œ```THE BIBLE IN ONE YEAR:``` *EXODUS 8-11*πŸ“œπŸ“œ Just Go https://dailymanna.app// *RECOMMENDED GOSPEL HYMNS AND SONGS - GHS 47: JUST OBEY; GHS 62: GO, LABOUR ON; AND GHS 107: GO AND TELL THEM* *TXD [THEXDEVOTIONALS] on Twitter* *#DailyManna19thJuly2026* *#GCK* *#WorshipNuggets* *#BibleNuggets* *#LeadershipNuggets* *#RevivalNuggets* *#CrusadeNuggets* https://www.youtube.com/[THEXDEVOTIONALS] [18/07, 9:20 pm] Pastor Attah: ```DEEPER CHRISTIAN LIFE MINISTRY``` _*HIGHER EVERYDπŸ…°οΈY: (A DAILY DEVOTIONAL GUIDE FOR YOUTHS)*_ βœπŸ½πŸ‘©πŸ»β€πŸ’ΌπŸŒ» πŸ‡πŸ™πŸ½πŸ›°πŸš€πŸ”¬πŸ“š ```SUNDAY 19TH JULY, 2026``` *REPROOF FOR FOOLISHNESS* πŸŽšοΈπŸ““πŸ“–πŸ«΅πŸ½πŸ™‹πŸ½β€β™‚οΈπŸ™‹πŸ½β€β™€οΈβš οΈβ€ΌοΈπŸ›‘βŒπŸ§ŽπŸ½πŸ§ŽπŸ½β€β™€οΈπŸ™πŸ½ πŸ“œπŸ“œ```TEXT:GALATIANS 3:1-5```πŸ“œπŸ“œ πŸ“–``` MEMORY VERSE:``` _*"Are ye so foolish? having begun in the Spirit, are ye now made perfect by the flesh?" Parents are even urged to smite or cane a stubborn child to "drive" foolishness out of him or her. Some people take the correction in good faith and change, while others would remain obdurate.* *In our study today, Apostle Paul used reproof on the Galatians who had been deceived by the over-zealous Jewish Christians, saying, "O foolish Galatians, who hath bewitched you, that ye should not obey the truth...?"* *The Galatians had been made to believe that they needed to add works to their faith by keeping the Old Testament laws, particularly the circumcision of the flesh, in order to be justified. Paul reminded them that they had received the Spirit by faith, not by works.* *Beloved, beware of erroneous doctrines peddled through books, the social media and the internet. We are reading this letter to the Thessalonians today and receiving the same charge or challenge to please God daily in all we do, say and think. No one can live to please God in his or her power. Only God, by His grace, enables us to do this. This grace is available to as many as would come to Jesus. A boy or girl who is still living in sin, doing bad things, like fighting, telling lies, stealing, moving with bad friends, and doing other evil things, cannot receive this grace. *Such a person must first come out of sin by confessing to Jesus, asking for forgiveness and cleansing through His precious blood, and inviting Him to be his or her Saviour and Lord.* *If you are a friend of Jesus, be conscious of how you live so that you will not displease, instead of pleasing God. Ask God daily for His grace to help you please Him. This will open doors of blessings to you.* πŸ₯πŸ₯πŸ₯πŸ₯πŸ₯πŸ₯πŸ₯πŸ₯ ```πŸ…ΏοΈrayer:``` _*God, help me to live to please You at all times.*_ πŸ™πŸ½ ```πŸ“– Further Reading:``` *2 Corinthians 13:11* The Apostle's Counsel https://dailymanna.app// *TXD [THEXDEVOTIONALS] on Twitter* *#SincereMilk19thJuly2026* *#GCK* *#WorshipNuggets* *#BibleNuggets* *#LeadershipNuggets* *#RevivalNuggets* *#CrusadeNuggets* https://www.youtube.com/[THEXDEVOTIONALS] [18/07, 9:21 pm] Pastor Attah: *MEDITATIONS ON DAILY* *β“‚ANNA* SUNDAY, 19TH JULY, 2026 *TRUSTING GOD’S PLAN FOR DIVINE DELIVERANCE* *TEXT:* EXODUS 3:16–22 16. Go, and gather the elders of Israel together, and say unto them, The LORD God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, of Isaac, and of Jacob, appeared unto me, saying, I have surely visited you, and seen that which is done to you in Egypt: 17. and I have said, I will bring you up out of the affliction of Egypt unto the land of the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites, unto a land flowing with milk and honey. 18. And they shall hearken to thy voice: and thou shalt come, thou and the elders of Israel, unto the king of Egypt, and ye shall say unto him, The LORD God of the Hebrews hath met with us: and now let us go, we beseech thee, three days' journey into the wilderness, that we may sacrifice to the LORD our God. 19. And I am sure that the king of Egypt will not let you go, no, not by a mighty hand. 20. And I will stretch out my hand, and smite Egypt with all my wonders which I will do in the midst thereof: and after that he will let you go. 21. And I will give this people favour in the sight of the Egyptians: and it shall come to pass, that, when ye go, ye shall not go empty: 22. but every woman shall borrow of her neighbour, and of her that sojourneth in her house, jewels of silver, and jewels of gold, and raiment: and ye shall put them upon your sons, and upon your daughters; and ye shall spoil the Egyptians. *Timeless Truth:* _The counsel of the LORD standeth for ever, The thoughts of his heart to all generations._ (Psalm 33:11) *INTRODUCTION* In 1940, during the Second World War, more than 330,000 Allied soldiers were trapped on the beaches of Dunkirk, France. Humanly speaking, escape seemed impossible. Yet through an extraordinary combination of military coordination, the courage of civilian boat owners and what many believers regarded as God's providential intervention, the soldiers were rescued in what became known as the Miracle of Dunkirk. What appeared to be certain defeat became an unforgettable deliverance because there was a greater plan at work than anyone could initially see. Likewise, the Israelites had spent over 400 years in Egyptian bondage. Their situation appeared hopeless, but God had neither forgotten His covenant nor abandoned His people. In Exodus 3:16–22, God revealed His plan of deliverance to Moses before a single plague had occurred or a single Israelite had left Egypt. God's promises always precede His performance. This passage teaches us that God's Word is trustworthy, His presence is unfailing, and His purposes cannot be frustrated. God's Plan Never Fails Exodus 3 reminds us that God is never surprised by our struggles. Before Israel saw the miracles of the Exodus, God had already announced His plan from beginning to end. Every step of deliverance unfolded according to His perfect wisdom. God provides everything needed for victory. Sometimes, like Moses, we focus on Pharaoh's power. God calls us to focus on His power. Sometimes, we may see delays. God sees preparation. Sometimes, we may see obstacles. God sees opportunities to display His glory. Our responsibility is not to understand every detail of God's plan, but to trust the One who designed it. *β€œFor I know the thoughts that I think toward you... thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you an expected end.”* (Jeremiah 29:11). When God promises deliverance, no enemy can permanently prevent it. His purposes will always prevail. Israel's deliverance began with a promise before it became a reality.The same is true for believers today. Will we trust God's promises while we wait for His perfect timing, believing that the God who begins His work will surely bring it to completion? *1. The Promise of God's Compassionate Purpose* God instructed Moses to gather the elders of Israel and assure them that He had seen their suffering and would deliver them. God's Personal Concern is for all believers to achieve their goals in life. God declared, β€œI have surely visited you.” He was fully aware of Israel's pain and affliction. b.   • SEEDS OF DESTINY
    BY DR. PASTOR PAUL ENENCHE.
    DATE: SATURDAY, 11TH JULY 2026.
    TOPIC: THE NECESSITY OF EXISTENCE AT THE TOP
    SCRIPTURE: He made him ride on the high places of the earth…” DEUTERONOMY 32:13.
    THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Excellence or excelling is a department of your worship as a child of God.
    God never designed His people for the valley, the pit, or the backside of life. Through creation, covenant, prophecy, the law, and redemption, it has been made abundantly clear that the topmost places of the earth are reserved for Kingdom people.
    In Genesis 1:28, God created man and said, ...Be fruitful, multiply, replenish the earth, and have dominion... Dominion is a top-level command. It is impossible to dominate from beneath.
    In Genesis 17:6, God told Abraham, I will make nations of thee, and kings shall come out of thee. That means every genuine seed of Abraham is either a king or a nation. Ordinary people give birth to children, but Abraham gave birth to nations and kings. Therefore, by the covenant, you are not permitted to live an average or irrelevant life.
    God did not create His people to crawl like chickens when they possess the destiny of eagles. You are an eagle, not a vulture. You are not meant for the low places of life.
    Beloved, the top is not a place of pride; it is a place of kingdom assignment. God wants His children at the top so they can bring honour, glory, praise, and worship to Him through excellence, quality, and top-level existence.
    That is why Jesus says in Matthew 5:16, Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven. There is something people will see in your life that will generate praise for God automatically.
    Excellence or excelling is a department of your worship. You do not worship God with songs alone; you also worship Him by excelling. When people look at your life and say, β€œThis man is a genuine child of God,” God is glorified.
    That was the story of Daniel. Daniel entered Babylon and outperformed all the magicians, astrologers, and wise men in their own realm because an excellent spirit was found in him. Through excellence, Joseph became lord over Egypt.
    Through the character of excellence and contentment, Esther became queen in Persia for the preservation of the Jews in the land of captivity. All these were kingdom people who existed at the top for kingdom purposes.
    Beloved, refuse to settle for average existence.
    Whatever your field, the top is your place. The top is your rightful place whether you are in ministry, business, academics, medicine, politics, media, entertainment, etc. You are meant to excel and shine for the Glory of God.
    REMEMBER THIS: Excellence or excelling is a department of your worship as a child of God.
    ASSIGNMENT(S):
    1. Reject every mentality of mediocrity and average living.
    2. Pursue excellence and competence in your field with diligence and integrity.
    3. Ask God to use your influence and position for kingdom impact.
    PRAYER: Father, thank You for calling me to shine for Your glory. I receive the grace to excel and exist at the top for kingdom impact, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
    QUOTE: Excellence is our heritage. Mediocrity is a misrepresentation of the Divine nature. Culled from the book, 30 Secrets to the Top by Dr Paul Enenche
    AMAZING FACT: Pineapples contain an enzyme that can β€œdigest” protein. Bromelain can break down proteins, which is why your tongue may feel strange after eating a lot of pineapple.
    PROPHETIC DECLARATION: The Lord take you to the very top in every way in Jesus’ Name.
Ordinary people give birth to children, but Abraham gave birth to nations and kings. Therefore, by the covenant, you are not permitted to live an average or irrelevant life. God did not create His people to crawl like chickens when they possess the destiny of eagles. You are an eagle, not a vulture. You are not meant for the low places of life. Beloved, the top is not a place of pride; it is a place of kingdom assignment. God wants His children at the top so they can bring honour, glory, praise, and worship to Him through excellence, quality, and top-level existence. That is why Jesus says in Matthew 5:16, Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven. There is something people will see in your life that will generate praise for God automatically. Excellence or excelling is a department of your worship. You do not worship God with songs alone; you also worship Him by excelling. When people look at your life and say, β€œThis man is a genuine child of God,” God is glorified. That was the story of Daniel. Daniel entered Babylon and outperformed all the magicians, astrologers, and wise men in their own realm because an excellent spirit was found in him. Through excellence, Joseph became lord over Egypt. Through the character of excellence and contentment, Esther became queen in Persia for the preservation of the Jews in the land of captivity. All these were kingdom people who existed at the top for kingdom purposes. Beloved, refuse to settle for average existence. Whatever your field, the top is your place. The top is your rightful place whether you are in ministry, business, academics, medicine, politics, media, entertainment, etc. You are meant to excel and shine for the Glory of God. REMEMBER THIS: Excellence or excelling is a department of your worship as a child of God. ASSIGNMENT(S): 1. Reject every mentality of mediocrity and average living. 2. Pursue excellence and competence in your field with diligence and integrity. 3. Ask God to use your influence and position for kingdom impact. PRAYER: Father, thank You for calling me to shine for Your glory. I receive the grace to excel and exist at the top for kingdom impact, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.     WISDOM FOR SOCIO-POLITICAL SURVIVAL
    .....Navigating Influence, Honour, and Leadership in a Complex World
    LEAD SCRIPTURES
    "Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves." β€” Matthew 10:16
    "When a man's ways please the LORD, he maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him." β€” Proverbs 16:7
    "A man's gift maketh room for him, and bringeth him before great men." β€” Proverbs 18:16
    "By wise counsel thou shalt make thy war." β€” Proverbs 24:6
    "Wisdom is better than strength." β€” Ecclesiastes 9:16
    INTRODUCTION
    One of the greatest misconceptions in life is to assume that good intentions alone are enough to navigate society. Scripture never teaches believers to be naΓ―ve. Jesus Himself warned, "I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves." (Matthew 10:16). Sheep are symbols of innocence, but wolves represent environments where wisdom is essential.
    The Kingdom of God does not encourage manipulation, yet it repeatedly commends wisdom, discernment, prudence, and understanding. "Through wisdom is an house builded; and by understanding it is established." (Proverbs 24:3).
    Every society develops its own culture, values, and patterns of interaction. Where honour is neglected, leadership becomes difficult. Where everyone assumes there is nothing to learn, growth slows, relationships weaken, and institutions struggle to flourish. "Only by pride cometh contention." (Proverbs 13:10).
    The believer is therefore called to combine humility with discernment, courage with restraint, conviction with wisdom, and truth with gracious conduct. The goal is not merely to survive society but to influence it for righteousness. "The wise shall inherit glory." (Proverbs 3:35).
    THE MENACE OF AN EGALITARIAN SOCIETY WITHOUT A CULTURE OF HONOUR
    Equality in human dignity is a biblical truth. "God is no respecter of persons." (Acts 10:34). Yet Scripture also recognizes different responsibilities, gifts, and offices within society and the Church. "And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists..." (Ephesians 4:11).
    When a culture loses the ability to distinguish between equal worth and different responsibilities, several problems emerge.
    A society that no longer honours wisdom often stops learning. "A wise man will hear, and will increase learning." (Proverbs 1:5).
    A generation that rejects correction eventually resists growth. "He that refuseth instruction despiseth his own soul." (Proverbs 15:32).
    Where everyone assumes they already know everything, teachability disappears. "Seest thou a man wise in his own conceit? there is more hope of a fool than of him." (Proverbs 26:12).
    Where honour declines, mentorship weakens. Yet Scripture commands, "Obey them that have the rule over you... for they watch for your souls." (Hebrews 13:17).
    Where respect diminishes, unnecessary conflict multiplies. "Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves." (Philippians 2:3).
    The biblical answer is neither arrogance nor unhealthy submission. It is a culture where humility, honour, truth, and wisdom coexist.
    STRATEGIC WISDOM FOR SOCIO-POLITICAL SURVIVAL
    1. Cultivate Spiritual Discernment Before Public Influence
    "The prudent man foreseeth the evil, and hideth himself." (Proverbs 22:3).
    Wisdom sees beyond appearances. Discernment helps believers respond thoughtfully rather than react impulsively.
    2. Honour People Without Idolizing Them
    "Honour all men." (1 Peter 2:17).
    Biblical honour recognizes the dignity of others while reserving worship for God alone.
    3. Stay Teachable Throughout Life
    "Give instruction to a wise man, and he will be yet wiser." (Proverbs 9:9).
    A teachable spirit creates continuous growth, regardless of age or status.
    4. Let Character Sustain What Talent Begins
    "A good name is rather to be chosen than great riches." (Proverbs 22:1).
    Influence built only on ability is fragile; influence supported by integrity endures.
    5. Speak With Wisdom and Restraint
    "He that hath knowledge spareth his words." (Proverbs 17:27).
    Not every battle deserves an immediate response. Silence is sometimes an expression of strength.
    6. Adapt Without Compromising Convictions
    Paul declared, "I am made all things to all men, that I might by all means save some." (1 Corinthians 9:22).
    Biblical adaptability is not hypocrisy. It is wise contextualization for the sake of God's mission.
    7. Build Strategic Relationships
    "Iron sharpeneth iron." (Proverbs 27:17).
    Healthy relationships expand vision, strengthen resilience, and create opportunities for service.
    8. Learn the Difference Between Position and Influence
    David respected Saul's office even while fleeing from Saul's hostility. "I will not stretch forth mine hand against my lord." (1 Samuel 24:10).
    Respecting an office does not require approving every action.
    9. Develop Competence
    "Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings." (Proverbs 22:29).
    Skill often opens doors that complaint never will.
    10. Choose Humility Over Pride
    "God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble." (James 4:6).
    Humility is not weakness; it is strength under God's direction.
    11. Be Peaceable Without Becoming Passive
    "If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men." (Romans 12:18).
    Peacemaking seeks reconciliation without surrendering righteousness.
    12. Remember That True Promotion Comes From God
    "Promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west... But God is the judge." (Psalm 75:6–7).
    Human systems may delay recognition, but faithful stewardship remains valuable before God.
    WISDOM NOTES
    Wisdom protects where strength alone cannot. "Wisdom is a defence." (Ecclesiastes 7:12).
    Honour is not weakness; it is evidence of maturity.
    Humility opens doors that pride permanently closes.
    Influence grows where trust is consistently cultivated.
    A wise believer studies both Scripture and the realities of the society in which God has placed them. Like the sons of Issachar, they seek to understand the times and know what ought to be done. "Men that had understanding of the times." (1 Chronicles 12:32).
    Kingdom influence requires both spiritual depth and practical wisdom.
    The goal is not merely to survive difficult environments but to become salt and light within them. "Ye are the salt of the earth... Ye are the light of the world." (Matthew 5:13–14).
    FINAL THOUGHTS
    The Christian life is neither an escape from society nor surrender to it. Christ calls His followers to engage the world with wisdom, integrity, courage, and compassion. We are not called to imitate every cultural pattern, but neither are we called to ignore the realities around us.
    The serpent's wisdom must always be balanced by the dove's innocence. Strategic thinking must never become deceit. Adaptability must never become compromise. Honour must never become flattery. Conviction must never become arrogance.
    The believer who walks with God, grows in wisdom, honours others, develops competence, and remains faithful to truth is positioned not only to endure changing times but also to shape them for God's glory.
    PRAYER LINES
    Father, grant me the wisdom that comes from above, pure, peaceable, and full of good fruits. (James 3:17).
    Teach me to walk wisely in every relationship and every assignment You entrust to me. (Ephesians 5:15–17).
    Deliver me from pride, self-sufficiency, and every spirit that resists instruction. (Proverbs 11:2).
    Give me discernment to know when to speak, when to be silent, when to advance, and when to wait upon You. (Ecclesiastes 3:7).
    Establish my life upon integrity, humility, competence, and godly influence. (Proverbs 22:1).
    Let my life reflect both the wisdom of the serpent and the harmlessness of the dove, according to the teaching of Christ. (Matthew 10:16).
    Raise me to become a godly influence in my generation for the advancement of Your Kingdom. (Daniel 12:3).
    In Jesus' Mighty Name.
    Amen.
    TITLE: "Empowered for Excellence"
    ANCHOR SCRIPTURE(S)
    Exodus 35:31–32 (KJV) "And he hath filled him with the spirit of God, in wisdom, in understanding, and in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship; And to devise curious works, to work in gold, and in silver, and in brass,"
    Proverbs 22:29 (KJV) "Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men."
    QUOTE TO REFLECT ON
    "God gives the gift, but diligence develops the gift into excellence."
    DAY'S REFLECTION
    God is not only interested in our spirituality; He is also interested in the quality of our work. In Exodus, Bezalel was filled with the Spirit of God, receiving wisdom, understanding, knowledge, and skill for craftsmanship. This reminds us that excellence is not merely a human achievementβ€”it can be a divine empowerment.
    However, spiritual gifting alone is not enough. Proverbs teaches that diligence distinguishes a person and opens doors to greater opportunities. Many people possess talent, but only those who consistently develop and apply it rise to higher levels of influence and impact.
    Consider a teacher who prepares thoroughly for every lesson. Over time, learners respect the teacher's competence, and opportunities for leadership emerge. Similarly, an artisan, entrepreneur, minister, or student who works diligently often gains recognition because excellence attracts attention.
    God has deposited gifts, abilities, and potential in every believer. The challenge is whether we are willing to cultivate them through discipline, learning, and hard work. Divine favour often meets prepared and diligent hands.
    Today, commit your skills, work, ministry, and assignments to God. Ask Him to fill you with wisdom and help you pursue excellence in all that you do. What you do faithfully today may position you before great opportunities tomorrow.
    MEDITATION SCRIPTURE(S) WITH FULL VERSES
    Colossians 3:23 (KJV) "And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men;"
    Daniel 6:3 (KJV) "Then this Daniel was preferred above the presidents and princes, because an excellent spirit was in him; and the king thought to set him over the whole realm."
    LIFE LESSONS (IMPLICATIONS)
    1. God empowers His people with wisdom and skills.
    2. Excellence is achieved through diligence and discipline.
    3. Faithfulness in small tasks leads to greater opportunities.
    4. A spirit of excellence attracts favour and influence.
    5. Every gift should be developed for God's glory.
    EVERYDAY ACTION
    Improve one skill related to your calling.
    Complete today's tasks with excellence.
    Seek God's wisdom before starting your work.
    Avoid laziness and procrastination.
    PRAYER
    Heavenly Father, fill me with wisdom, understanding, and skill. Help me to work diligently and pursue excellence in all that I do for Your glory. In Jesus' name, Amen.
    DECLARATION
    I am empowered by God for excellence. I will work diligently and faithfully. My gifts shall make room for me. I carry a spirit of wisdom and skill.
    I will stand before great opportunities and fulfil my purpose.
    DEBORAH
    Leadership we can learn from!
    by Denise Roberts
    Deborah was unique in many ways. She was the only female judge recorded in Scripture, a prophetess, a wife, and a leader during one of Israel’s most difficult seasons. While many judges struggled with character and integrity, Deborah stands as an example of godly leadership. Following her victory, Israel experienced forty years of peace, twice as long as the previous period of peace.
    What makes Deborah particularly relevant today is how she led. While kings and rulers built palaces and fortified strongholds to project power, Deborah held court under the Palm of Deborah, out in the open where people could easily approach her. She did not rely on titles, walls, or gatekeepers to establish authority. Her influence was built on trust, wisdom, and relational credibility. In a modern world obsessed with status and hierarchy, Deborah reminds us that true leadership comes from being accessible and trustworthy.
    When a crisis arose, Deborah did not try to do everything herself. She called Barak and reminded him of his responsibility. Even when he refused to go without her, she put aside any concern for recognition and simply went to support him. Deborah understood that leadership is not about controlling every outcome but about empowering others to step into their God given roles. Great leaders do not create followers; they develop other leaders.
    Deborah was not a token leader. Her position was established through wisdom, competence, and godly character. People sought her counsel because of who she was and what she carried, not because of her gender. Her life reminds us that effective leadership is ultimately measured by integrity, wisdom, and results.
    Perhaps most remarkably, Deborah refused to be confined to a single role. Scripture presents her as a prophetess, judge, wife, military strategist, and songwriter. She demonstrates that God often calls people to serve in more than one area and that our identity is not limited to a single title.
    Deborah’s life challenges modern leaders to build influence through character rather than position, empower others rather than control them, and remain faithful to God’s calling regardless of expectations or limitations.
    AOV #9 DEBORAH Leadership we can learn from! by Denise Roberts Deborah was unique in many ways. She was the only female judge recorded in Scripture, a prophetess, a wife, and a leader during one of Israel’s most difficult seasons. While many judges struggled with character and integrity, Deborah stands as an example of godly leadership. Following her victory, Israel experienced forty years of peace, twice as long as the previous period of peace. What makes Deborah particularly relevant today is how she led. While kings and rulers built palaces and fortified strongholds to project power, Deborah held court under the Palm of Deborah, out in the open where people could easily approach her. She did not rely on titles, walls, or gatekeepers to establish authority. Her influence was built on trust, wisdom, and relational credibility.
